Speaker 1 (00:08):
Welcome back to Randy Kennedy Show in the Thread at
Faster Studio and proud to be joined in studio right
now by my buddy Shadrick Toodle, the guy who used
to be known as, uh, the guy with all the jackets,
with all the sports jackets, now as much as anything
known as the guy with all the football playing sons
being recruited. What's up, man?

Speaker 2 (00:26):
What's up man?

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Good to see I got to talk to you about
because you know, used to we were just buddies that
hung out. And now fritzwell on social media and you know,
call up social media. There you are with Bill Belichick,
There you are with you Freeze there. I'm like, man,
this guy's going places. And of course, uh, it's because
of your son, who is a senior to be at
Cottage Hill committed to Auburn right now as a linebacker.

(00:48):
But because of that, you guys have sort of seen
the country.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Right Yes, sir, Yes, sir, it's been fun.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Man. I'm actually rocking a bay a Belor blazer and
a Belor pull over top right now. Uh, just got
through leaving a meeting with Coach Cheney linebackers coaches. He's
after school meeting with shadars now, but man, it's been
fun World Win meeting everybody.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
It's crazy. So how long, let's let's walk through this
process because I think a lot of people be interested,
those of us who have not been through it at
this level, just what it's like and what's the recruiting
process been like with you know, one of the top
linebacker recruits in the country. And has it been much
different than what you thought it might be.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
It is much different than I thought it would be.
But ever since his sophomore year, that's when it really
took off. So the last two years, I say, because
it's his eighth grade year. When he first got his
Vandervelt offer, THENNS Marshall offer, thennis Bella offer, it was
more so of hey, here go you an offer.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
We like you. His After his sophomore season.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Man, we went to Howe State, like we That's when
we start actually going on these trips and you know,
from Afar it looks like one thing. But and I'm
a sports guy. My wife is a sportswoman, so sports girl.
So we enjoyed and I mean, when I say phenomenal,
the people you meet, the flights, the riots, and we
always do things as families. So like it's been a

(02:12):
big for the last three years, we've been on a
big vacation run.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
But it's been amazing.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Let me ask you about some individual stuff here. I
saw a picture of you Bill Belichick in Chapel Hill.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
What's it this?

Speaker 1 (02:26):
What is that? Like Bill Belichick?

Speaker 3 (02:28):
That was amazing. Like, of course I'm a big sports fan.
Shadazia is also, and you know the stuff they portray
on TV. You see the press conferences. He barely talks
and it's always about football, football, while it was always
about football. But Belichick was smiling, joking, and I was
immediately saying to myself when we met him, I can
see why his players and his coaches love him because,

(02:51):
like man, he wanted the guys like he got your back.
You could just tell that in the conversation. And what
was funny too, is when we was in the meet
and meeting with him in his office, he pull up
the computer we were watching film.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
He brought out the Lawrence Tailor.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Film and I and I got pictures and video because
he was cool about it. He got up a couple
of times to show my son moves. Lawrence Taylor's was
doing so here, here is Bill Belichick, the greatest football
coach in America and in the in the in the world,
getting up like just and if you see him, you
won't think.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
He's seventy four or whatever his age is. He moves,
he talks football.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
He got energy about football like you wouldn't believe. And
that was just cool to see him because he never
been through a recruiting process of like, so he don't
know how to I don't I don't to use the
word fake, but it's you know, everybody has to put
on their best hat.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Better check them out to do that.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Like like but he was like, that was one of
the best visits we've been on.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Yeah, because he coached Lawrence Taylor. He was the DC
the Giants in the day.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
So when people say his Super Bowls, they forgot the
ones he wanted the defensive coordinator with the Giants, So like,
uh uh and all those guys.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
He actually called l t while he was there, is
that text him?

Speaker 3 (04:05):
He text him and uh but he was like, yeah,
he's coming up for these That Saturday, he was coming up.
They had the Duke of North Carolina game, so him
and some more people was coming up to see uh uh,
Bill Belichick. So that was good, A big golf tournament.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
That was having.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
You know what makes you feel old though, you gotta
even even though your son is a big sports fan,
you got you gotta tells like, hey, this Lawrence Taylor,
he's not good.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
He is the one of one.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
I think she dares understand that he do his research
on a lot of like like he ray Lewis's favorite player,
so he like he loved the Roe corn Smith's and
the new guys, but like he can he can have
a conversation about the old school guys also.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
So he's been committed to Auburn for a while. Of course,
we know how this game works. I mean we've seen it,
like schools commit the players. Players comitt to the schools
and until you're until you're there. I don't put a
whole lot of stock in it, but just walk me
through the commitment and now kind of where we are
with this whole process.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
So he's seeing the process to a smaller degree with
his older brother. But even as a family, I think
men and my wife and she's the winning and all list.
I mean, she do a good job of just structuring
how we do things and even from a younger age.
We always taught them to make their own decisions, so
like all they know is me and Shawanda's parents was

(05:29):
gonna put them in the best situation. So in terms
of he knew, whatever school he would commit to, we
were gonna have to see it in multiple capacities. The
list he made out in terms of development, academics, make
it to the next level, a lot of those things.
Because he got his own list and it's more than that,
but a lot of those things he wrote down. We
was like, okay, this is what you said. Okay, this school, Okay,

(05:52):
this school look come into players to have an e lead,
look at their graduation rate.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Like it was a lot of things like that.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
So when we were going through the process earlier, of
course us Auburn three hours away. I think the first
time he was on Auburn campus was when he was
like three or four years old. Because even then, when
we go on vacations, whatever university was nearby, we stopped by,
we do tours, and we got an iconic picture I
reposted when he committed when him and his three brothers

(06:19):
was like two, four and six.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
We react that same picture.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
But I mean, like he's been on a lot of campus,
but original picture. It was what Cam Newton Heisman. Thing is,
We took a lot of pictures, but it was them
three on cam Newton Heisman. And so of course when
we came back later, we got that same picture and
I posted when he committed because like, and that's what
I wanted people understand, Like, none of this stuff is

(06:43):
like an.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Overnight type deal.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
The process, even with you know, the schools like Kile State,
We've been on a campus three times and and and
when I say three times, like two day visits, go
home on the third day. So Bella just all over
the country, man, Like it's been a process, game day visits,
junior day visit, spring visits, and multiple capacities. So it's
not a manufactured Hey how y'all doing.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
We love y'all. This is the best school in the world.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
So, and when he came to us in July, he
had about ten to fifty At the time, he had
about thirty some offers, but realistically we got invited to
about nine to ten picnic days. Everybody call they things
differenter gabager type stuff. So and he was like, I
want to go to Big Cat weekend, and I actually
had another school in my head that I thought we

(07:31):
might be going. So back in July he was like,
I want to go to Big Cat weekend. And because
the process we take our kids through, it wasn't are
you sure, are you okay? Hey, you want to go?
Everybody going, let's go. Then like two or three minutes
after that, he was like, I want to commit to Auburn.

(07:52):
And because like I said, of how we structure and
do things, I don't have to question them because everything
he had on this list, everything in terms of how
many times we needed to be on the campus. Man,
we went to Hugh Free's house like it was just
so many different things we've done, and so we went
with it. But I do also think we're still dealing

(08:12):
because I think he was fifteen or sixteen at the time.
You still also dealing with young kids, and even though
you're trying to teach them life lessons, sometimes that's just
part of it. And so that's where we're at now
in terms of, Okay, let's make sure we made the
right decision. And that's why when he came back out
with his top six schools, we're just doing our due

(08:33):
diligence and process to make sure he owtimately choosing the
right one.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
So you knew, you knew in advance he was gonna
commit to Auburn. Yeh, some idea.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
I had some idea because that was one of the
schools in his top ten. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
So when when he commits to Auburn and as a family,
you guys are like, okay, we're on board with this.
Was it understood at that point that it was still
going to be a process of making visits and such.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
No, you know, at the time, because he understands even
just like none athletic stuff, Hey, I want to I
want to do this.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Okay, you have to stick with it.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
But I think this recruiting thing is so much different,
and because we didn't deal with it with this magnitude.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
With my oldest son.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
It's more about finding the right fit and being sure.
And I think if you don't know what another school
is offering or doing, especially even though you might be
on the campus two or three times, you might be
missing something. So I think it's just a you know,
let's do diligence. Do I do diligence to just make
sure we're making the right decision, you know.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Plus when he committed to Auburn, there was nobody ever
thought about Bill Belichick being a college coach.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
That wasn't even you see what I'm saying, like Bill
Belichick and and and and at the time too, he
didn't even have a Georgia office on tap. So like
and Georgia, and it is in this group, and heavily
in this group. So so things change. People come and go,

(10:05):
people recruit you heavier, you get on campus more. And
like I said, I do think wherever he decides, We're
gonna be on board because I know we're putting them
in the right position to make that decision.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
We're talking to Shadrick Tudle. His son is Shadarius Tudle
from Cottage Hill who's committed to Auburn, one of their
prize recruits for the class of twenty twenty six. But
recruitment continues. As we said, he was, he was at
Georgia over the weekend Athens. You made that trip as well, Yes, yes,
what was your impressious there?

Speaker 2 (10:35):
Man? That was amazing.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
Shadaris my wife and Shamar and Shadrick Junior. That was
a fifth time on campus. It was only my second
time because some of the trips because I have to work,
and like they went up for a camp, like I
can't make all of them. But that was my second time.
And when I tell you, ov's are supposed to be
and it was just what it.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
Was supposed to be.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
In more, this was an official visit.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
Official visit was his first official visiness. And the man
Kurby Smart is just amazing. Coach, Shoe is amazing, coach,
the rebail is amazing. I mean the whole staff. You know,
those things are set up for everybody to treat you
like war to and like they went above and beyond
and what I mean like it's it. It was good

(11:19):
because another thing as a parent, what I look for.
It was nine other kids there on ovs and and
of course Georgia have a huge staff. But I pay
attention to you know, how everybody's treated. Who's shown the
most attention. And when I tell you, man, they make
and there was some five stars, our top o line,
top D line, another line back in Nick Abrams, he

(11:41):
was on the visit with us with Michigan and we
like family and now like my wife joking with his wife,
I'm joking with her her husband just because we've been
but it's like like they made sure they did a
really good job of just making sure like he was
like the top priority. And I know other families probably
felt like that, but like, as a parent, I'm watching that, Okay,
how many times Curvis amarn't gonna come to us, how

(12:03):
many times he's gonna go somebody else? Coach Shoe Uh
And as a matter of fact, where people don't know,
Coach Shoe and Coach de Rebated outside linebacks coach, they
did in house visit Thursday, the same night we left.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
For the OV wow.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
So they came to the house, we shop basketball together,
we played horse uh and then we played.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Two on two so uh man.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
But it was amazing just from every expect the dinners,
the meetings, uh, which was real good, just showing the
US how they developed. Hey, they had a real plan
of Hey, this is what we want to do, and
these are the guys we already done it with.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
So that was real good.

Speaker 3 (12:43):
But I think just going through the process of him
seeing that the next o V which is uh, Michigan,
we believe I made the twenty ninth, we'll be up
there to the first uh you.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
Know, big house years.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
In terms of Ov's because we just left there by
the have to go on a spring visit. We saw
their practice. He'll have something to compare to in terms
with Ov's. Another aspect of seeing the school in a
different capacity.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
So when you're at Georgia, what Jayleen Walker right.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
Was, Uh, there was a big time like like because
you got to think, like he'll celebrity now, yes, like
so imagine you know, Bucket's award winner, first round, picked
fifteenth in the draft. He was the man at school,
but now he's that guy. And it was funny because
game position. And it was funny because fast forward a
little bit when they got to the stage where they

(13:34):
were doing their pictures. Uh, it was they had about
because they're not on campus right now, but they had
about four or five linebackers death for the ov thing.
And when they told Jayalen Walker to go out there,
I heard him say this my twin like in that.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
Made like this Jaalen Walker.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
But when we met him at the dinner, he was
just so cool and just not like a superstar like
because I guess how.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
We viewing them. You know, of course my son loved him.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
He'd been watching them and uh, but for him to
say this my twin and then everybody was like, man,
they were like, that's your son, that's your son. Like
they was making jokes about it, but uh and they
were like, man, sit, there is actually bigger than Jay
walk so like and when they took that pitch, I
looked at him like, yeah, shit, there is is kind
of big.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
But but man, he was phenomenal. Uh. Jarvis Lander was there.
Of course, he's on staff.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
I mean just from from from the time we got
there to the time we left.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
It was but even at this point though, uh, his
last four schools, I mean, like his you can't make
a bad decision.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
What's the what's the officials look like? So start with
Georgia Michigan.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
Michigan on May or third to the first. But I
know we flying on on twenty ninth, and then that
first weekend in June actually the sixth and the seventh.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
He actually we.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Notified North Carolina last week Sunday when we got back.
He didn't want to do the North Carolina visit. So
that's breaking news. Yes, we talked to coach Lance and
coach Jamie Collins, he's the linebackers coach. Yeah, we called
them the Sunday night, and like I told you that
that's part of the process. When you told me that, okay,
let's call them, like, so yeah, we're not leave them

(15:23):
hanging uh. And it was good because Lance was up
front and said, man, we still love you. He's I
understand how this works, but just know if anything happens, like,
we still won't you. So that was huge for Shadaraz
to learn that part. And again, like I said, like,
we're never ashamed of anything our kids do because like
they know how you're supposed to operate.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
As young men.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
And him calling Lance and saying that was just huge
to me because I know adults who won't even do that.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
Sure. So but yeah, we took that visit out.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
So we're gonna try to move Belor to that weekend
because Arburn is on the thirteenth and and so if.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
That happens, it'll go in that order.

Speaker 3 (16:02):
Michigan Baylor, Dent Arburn on the thirteenth and will be done.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
Okay, So just for plus, Georgia makes four.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
Yep, yep, yep, yep.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
So I wonder how much I mean, you're a big
sports fan. We talked sports a million times, sir, how
big of how much you have followed recruiting before it
was your son. I'm just you know, over the weekend,
Steve Wilfong, who works for ON three, wrote a big
story and talked to your son and said, hey, what
do you think? And after doing that interview, Steve will Fong,

(16:31):
this guy who is in the note on three put
in a prediction for Sadarius to sign with Georgia.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
Yep, yep.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
Did you follow that? And do you scoff at that
or do you think you know? God knows his business?

Speaker 3 (16:44):
So that was kind of funny because I immediately my phone
was blowing up every type of Twitter message, Facebook message.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
Phone call, I am meeting the screenshoted it. Steve wood
Fong is the man.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
Chad Simmons like those are the two biggest guys on
three recruiting. Uh so I and I just talked to
Chad Simmons that morning, and uh because another reporter who
reached out to my son, unbeknownst to me or my wife,
did an article which published Georgia.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
Was number one.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
And Chad talked to me about how you get these
younger reporters who's looking to just and he said, sometimes
they don't protect the players. So but it's funny about
that thing. I remember when Shadari is first, when Chad
did the one for Auburn back in July, and I
tell people, whenever you see them phone bongs, that's what's

(17:39):
happening because because like they put us out will phone, Yeah, yeah,
will phone. Uh when they put it out for Shadas
for Auburn and I knew it, but everybody else didn't
know it. And it's funny now they put it out
and I'm saying to myself, but I think, like I said,
sixteen year old kids, Georgia was great. We just come
home from ov and I think because I know when

(18:00):
we got home, he probably did two or three interviews
that night. So but it's interesting. We'll see, like I'm
his dad and I don't even know. So I think
it's part of the process. And been following recruiting, and
nine times out of ten when they post those they accurate.

(18:21):
But I know somebody brought to my attention they did
the same thing with another kid and said he was
going to Oregon and he didn't go to Oregon.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
So it's a part of the process. It's fine.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
Well, you know this world better than me. But I mean,
I've always just had the advice of don't commit on
a visit, don't comit on aficial because you're going to
love it. Man, these guys are great at what they do.
You're going to love it. There's no doubt about it.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
And I think, like Chad Simmons told me, one of
the directors for Own three, because I did send my
son two people's information, and one of the guys, like
I said, he had sixty seven hundred thousand followers. And
I noticed the guy who did the original article on
Shadara's only had about two thousand followers. So that's why
I said, Okay, yeah, he took some words from Shadarius.

(19:10):
But Shadarias loves George like he loves Auburn, he loves Georgia,
he loves belor he loves Michigan. So I could see somebody.
But but Steve wild Fo here's the man, and uh
and that's what he put out there.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
All right, So what's the connection with Michigan.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
So coach BJ has been like besides Baller was his
third offer. Shadaris has about thirty something office I lose
count Michigan came early and coach BJ when I say
he is one of the best, Uh, he's the linebackers coach,
like and I think I think that's what's big communicating

(19:48):
because when I asked him about a certain school, he said, oh,
they stopped talking to me, they stopped calling. Because even
though when he committed to Auburn, More fell off, but
More stayed on him to show him we really want you,
whatever it takes. So but coach coach BJ have done
two house visits. Uh. He came to see him play basketball, uh,

(20:10):
when they played against Bayside and when they played against
Mobile Christian. So when I say, in terms of just
making sure and you know, to be there, stay in contact,
even with the limited contacts, Michigan can make Coach Moore
and you know that because he know the magnitude of
these guys who's talking to him and like, uh, like

(20:31):
when Coach Freeze talked to him, you know. So like,
but Michigan has been been that early. And when I
say they've been putting the pressure on, they actually gonna
be here Friday, Coach BJ will and then of course
next weekend we'll be flying up for our second OV
mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
So that's Michigan with Baylor. Yes, so that's uh, let's
go in the other direction. Yes, Uh, David Randa is
the head coach there. You're talking about a that's a
defensive guy who's a head coach for sure. Same way
with Yes, you know, with some of these other schools
as well. What's the appeal with Baylor?

Speaker 3 (21:04):
You know, Bella was his third offer and in front
of the beginning, because Shadas is when it comes to
sports in football, like he does his homework. I mean
in that list I was telling you about in terms
of development and playing for the right people you know
around them. Man, you know there's nother sports fans, but like,
who is this guy? But you know, defensive guru, a

(21:27):
national championship defensive corner of the LSU. Could have had
any job in the country. He chose Belor and he's
slowly turning that around. I know this year alone, they
had in the Big Twelve two first team linebackers, one
second team. Matt Jones is actually with the Raiders and
I forget the other guy named like so around them

(21:49):
for the people who don't know as a defensive genius
and he's actually a linebackers coach. Yes, so and we've
been up there like four times already. He actually coaches
like he the head coach, but he coach is the linebackers.
So like you know, in terms of you know, like
that list development and everything else, Beller offers like to
have your head coach to be a linebacker got and

(22:10):
to have coach at a high level national championship winning coach.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
The football people understands by bell is on our list
even though it's nine hours away. Like I think the
football people who understands.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
I'm a big fan of Dave Randa as a person.

Speaker 2 (22:25):
Of course.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
They opened at home against Auburn, but that's a Friday night, yep, yep.
I wish they didn't. I wish that was not the case,
but but I guess that would preclude a visit for that.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
Right, yep yep. So we were probably gonna be there.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (22:39):
I know initially they told us about it because they
said they was trying to move it to Thursday because
football in Texas is so Friday nights.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
So like it was actually a lot of people who
was opposed for that, sure because of football, how big
it is and how in uh uh Texas. So uh,
but it is on Friday, and of course college year,
we'll be playing at that Friday night, so we'll miss it. Uh,
but yeah, that's gonna be huge and that's televised game. Yeah,

(23:08):
and and what like Bayla if they if they beat
if they don't lose to Colorado, they probably play Arizona
State for the Big TWIUR Championship to go to the playoffs.
So uh, the sports fans know how good and what
Aranda had done in a short amount of time he's
been there, and the trajectory of their own So I
feel good with Baylor.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
Well, I like him. I really do like daved Randa.
He's been on the show before and he's a he's
a good one for sure. I just wish they wouldn't
play on Friday night. Yes, yeah, yeah, so we made
it this far in the interview, no mention of Alabama,
what's the what's the status there? Any connection with the
Crimson titlet all?

Speaker 2 (23:45):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (23:45):
Uh, Alabama was saying early uh. And of course his
third offer from Baylor coach Rob what's the linebackers coach
at Baylor? And immediately when he got the job at Bama,
when when the board took over and Woeman got hired,
he reached out to us, and so we've been we've
been to a couple of games down there.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (24:07):
But after, you know, when Shadar's committed, it was more
so you know, they still communicated because they're actually recruiting Shamar.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
Here's two years younger.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
You your quarterbacks quarterback, Yeah, quarterback.

Speaker 3 (24:20):
So like they actually talking to Shamar. Matter of fact,
he got we got something yesterday. They want us to
come up to a camp. So and that's how it starts.
Coming to a camp so we can be sure about you.
But uh, you know, coach Romack, he was a I
was a fan favorite of him at South Uh and
now he's at Alabama doing big things. But coach coach
Robb was real good because one thing coach, I mean, Randy,

(24:42):
when you're going through this process, like we met Coach
Robb's dad, like you just build some real relationships, like
you know, he saw me. Matter of fact, he just
had his first son. I want to say a couple
of months ago. The linebackers coach coach Christian.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
Robbers that love them like that. I really like that.
And that's the thing, like as a parent, you just
fall in love with the relationships.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
And like I said, like he just had his first son,
but he talked about his dad and when we I
forgot what it was. We went down there for a
junior day or something, we met his dad and and
it was just like those relationships. And on Father's Day
he is still text me. I still text him or
if I see his birthday on Instagram, like we had
his son, congratulations. So Alabama is our ways, you know,

(25:26):
Alabama is Alabama. But when your dad's committed to Auburn,
they didn't pursue him as much like other schools did
when when he committed.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
So where are we at? Now We're gonna do the
We're gonna do the three more official visits. I mean
this is pretty much written in stone before we uh,
before we're done with this whole recruiting madness.

Speaker 3 (25:51):
Yes, yes, and and and why you love it? It
gets tired, Yeah, it's still exciting. Uh and you know,
uh we have to miss work. I don't know how
my wife felt. I want to speak for her, but
I enjoyed, like you know, and and another year I'm
be doing this with Shamal.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
I know.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
At one point, Boston College reached out to us for
Chamar Like, so it was like you could just see
it already starting, kind of like how your dad's did.

Speaker 2 (26:21):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (26:22):
So we we we're gonna still be on the move,
uh uh because we just came back from San Antonio
just January with Shamar for the undern I mean Adida's camp.
So uh, we're gonna be still hitting the road and
having fun.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
So any word for the Auburn fans who are a
little worked up after that.

Speaker 3 (26:44):
Look, I love Auburn fans because I tell you what, man,
the post and the tweets and the like the world
was for to come crashing.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
Down, man like meltdown.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
I think that's yeah, Like it.

Speaker 3 (26:56):
Was funny, Like I was laughing reading them. Uh we
still war eagle. Uh again. You know, we're taking a
sixteen year old kid through a process that a lot
of people hadn't been through. So I know sometimes it
gets easy to criticize or to just joke. But I
think when it's all said and done, everybody involved gonna

(27:18):
be happy because whatever decision he makes as adult, I
think you should be happy for him.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
It's great to have you in the studio, Yes, sir,
Before long, I will have media days here in the
building and so we'll have Sudaria sitting in that same chair. Yes,
we'll be talking to him coming up when we do that.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
And he'll have Yeah, it'll be a fisher fisher by then.

Speaker 1 (27:39):
All right, great stuff, man, good to see you as always,
and uh, we will definitely be following that recruitment. And
then you got Schmorrow on the way after that, so
we'll be.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
Giving in touch, yes, sir, we will, man, and they're
looking forward to a big season this year.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
Of course, Chamar was a freshman last year. Kylie Chill. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (27:55):
One thing about Kylie Chill Man, like, h that's been
real good for my boys. And I know we at
the end of it, but I could truly say that, man.
You know, at one point we was looking to leave,
Like my wife had an interview with another school and
we was all like set on going. Losing coach p
was huge and like we wanted to leave, but I
was just thinking that they riding over, like it was

(28:16):
good for us to stay because mister Brazil, the head
master former baseball got University mobile, been at the school
for twenty something years, head master for the last three
or four. When I say phenomenal job, like he got
collar chill moving in the right direction and I think
at least for Shama with his last three years, they

(28:38):
doing big things over there.

Speaker 1 (28:40):
Should you two the great stuff man, We'll check in
with you give man.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
Yes, thank you, good to have you here.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
Yes, Sir Randy Kennedy from the Thread at Faster Studio
