local artists not only to showcase their skills in an
open mic, but also get some airplay too. So if
you're looking for consideration for airplay right here on the
local show, you can submit your tracks for consideration CPMHOF
dot com, slash Radio. Great stuff out of Grant Brian
there as well. Just came out last week that song
(23:13):
Old Sinner and Glenn. You know you always queue up
the last song as someone who is either in the
Hall of Fame or being considered for the Hall of Fame.
And this is one of the most memorable performances we
had at a Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The Pixies
three three obviously in the name, three ladies from the
(23:34):
Hanover area that were very successful back of the fifties,
sixties kind of era, some douop music, and I picked
this one because of the timeliness. I wanted to say
a special happy Birthday to my daughter Olivia. She turns
fourteen tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
Oh wow.
Speaker 4 (23:50):
So we picked a fitting song for her. This is
the Pixies three with their track called Birthday Party. Happy
Birthday a day early, Olivia. It's the local show on
the river night seven three.
Speaker 22 (24:01):
Suss first.
Speaker 13 (24:14):
Day and everybody trying to think taken like that, like
a bred, the beautiful, training to take things.
Speaker 22 (24:41):
Like celebrated day day.

Speaker 8 (25:57):
Cutting.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
That's the Pixies three with Birthday Party again.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
Happy Birthday to my daughter Olivia, she turns fourteen, tomorrow,
Wow and the Pixie's Happy Birthday Olivia, Yes, and the
Pixies three were inducted already into the Central Pennsylvania Music
Hall of Fame. All three original members performed live and
they sounded so good. Those three part harmonies were just
magical that night. That was at Hershey Theater, was it
(26:23):
or was it at Whittaker Center. I think it was
the first year at Hershey Theater.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
We had it there. I think, Okay, it was at
Hershey Theater. They sounded so good.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
So we always like to wrap up each week's show
with an artist that's either in the Hall of Fame
or in consideration for the Hall of Fame, So that
is going to do it for this week's episode, Season three,
episode Lucky seven, which you can always find on the podcast.
I always upload the episodes the next day, so tomorrow
round Monday around lunchtime, you'll be able to find it
(26:54):
on the iHeartRadio app. Just search under podcasts for the
River Local Show. You should go ahead and hit subscribe
on that because then as soon as I upload the episode, boop,
you'll get a notification you can turn on.
Speaker 4 (27:04):
That's what I do, and by the way, we always
mention a way to get your song for consideration, but
also local artists, feel free to reach out to us
if you have a special event coming up as well,
if you'd like to come in and be a guest
here on the local show for us to do a feature,
we'd be happy to take submissions for that as well.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
Absolutely CPMHOF dot com, slash radio to submit your stuff,
and follow Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame and The
River on socials too. But the best way to support
these artists go out and see a local show.
