We just came from the Englewood from their the big
Joy to the Berg concert featuring many of the artists
on the double CD set this year, and that's why
we're doing this special. This is part two of our
Joy to the Berg Special, Right, Brandon, that's it, you
got it. I think we're Our goal here is to
feature all of the artists, so we have twenty four

episode two of three. Who are we starting off with
this week? They just closed out the show at the

Christmas with My Baby A couple of the tracks that
are on this year's Joy to the Burg double disc set.
This is our second part of our Joy to the
Berg three part special. Debo back there. He just absolutely
stole the show at the Harrisburg Holiday Parade a couple
of weeks ago. Right, Yeah, he was incredible. We really

did a great job. It was cool that you guys
had that whole float blaring the music from there.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
Yeah, had the whole float and he was up there,
had people singing along, clapping, cheering them on. And you know,
Debo Debo was dressed to the nines when now sparkly
jacket and sparkly pants.

Two time Winner are Best Dressed at the cpma's and
he just had knee surgery too, so he was sitting
on the float and still run three days remove from
knee surgery.

Unbelievable way to go. Debot and all of these songs
that you're hearing tonight are on the double disc set
for Joy to the Burg this year, the sixth edition
of Joy to the Burg. Nick talk about where the
money goes from, not just the sales of the CD,
but the concert and all of the different things that
you guys do with Christian Churches United.

The Absolutely Yeah, all the proceeds from the album, the concert,
all of it goes straight to the work that we
do in street outreach and meeting with our neighbors who
are unhoused. But it also goes to support the overnight shelters.
We have a women's overnight shelter that operates a year
round and then a men's winter overnight shelter, and so
the proceeds from this help help staff that help provide
that safe space for people in the midst of the

cold as well as throughout the year and beyond that,
it also goes to our support and helping move them
from being unhoused towards housed as well, which is just
a it's a beautiful, beautiful thing.

Not just point A to point B, it's point A
to the rest of their lives. That's so beautiful and Brandon,
so many artists want to be a part of Joy
to the Berg now from here in Central PA. You
get how many submissions every year?
Speaker 4 (17:10):
Yeah, it's it's overwhelming the demand we have to be
a part of the album. Sometimes, you know, we have
to turn a couple of artists away because we can't
fit the amount of content on the CDs.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
And this is the first double disc, this is the
first double disc.

The demand is so high to be a part of
this because the artists, you know, they get their own
exposure out of it being a part of the project.
But it's also the effort of giving back for that reason,
and that's truly you know, the reason for the season,
and that's what it's all about here, and that's why
the Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Famous partner with Jordan
of the Burg to curate the music, and that's why
each and every artist wants to be a part of

the project as well.

Christmas with My Baby A couple of the tracks that
are on this year's Joy to the Burg double disc set.
This is our second part of our Joy to the
Berg three part special. Debo back there. He just absolutely
stole the show at the Harrisburg Holiday Parade a couple
of weeks ago. Right, Yeah, he was incredible. We really

did a great job. It was cool that you guys
had that whole float blaring the music from there.

Yeah, had the whole float and he was up there,
had people singing along, clapping, cheering them on. And you know,
Debo Debo was dressed to the nines when now sparkly
jacket and sparkly pants.

Two time Winner are Best Dressed at the cpma's and
he just had knee surgery too, so he was sitting
on the float and still run three days remove from
knee surgery.

Unbelievable way to go. Debot and all of these songs
that you're hearing tonight are on the double disc set
for Joy to the Burg this year, the sixth edition
of Joy to the Burg. Nick talk about where the
money goes from, not just the sales of the CD,
but the concert and all of the different things that
you guys do with Christian Churches United.

The Absolutely Yeah, all the proceeds from the album, the concert,
all of it goes straight to the work that we
do in street outreach and meeting with our neighbors who
are unhoused. But it also goes to support the overnight shelters.
We have a women's overnight shelter that operates a year
round and then a men's winter overnight shelter, and so
the proceeds from this help help staff that help provide
that safe space for people in the midst of the

cold as well as throughout the year and beyond that,
it also goes to our support and helping move them
from being unhoused towards housed as well, which is just
a it's a beautiful, beautiful thing.

Not just point A to point B, it's point A
to the rest of their lives. That's so beautiful and Brandon,
so many artists want to be a part of Joy
to the Berg now from here in Central PA. You
get how many submissions every year?
Speaker 4 (17:10):
Yeah, it's it's overwhelming the demand we have to be
a part of the album. Sometimes, you know, we have
to turn a couple of artists away because we can't
fit the amount of content on the CDs.

And this is the first double disc, this is the
first double disc.

The demand is so high to be a part of
this because the artists, you know, they get their own
exposure out of it being a part of the project.
But it's also the effort of giving back for that reason,
and that's truly you know, the reason for the season,
and that's what it's all about here, and that's why
the Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Famous partner with Jordan
of the Burg to curate the music, and that's why
each and every artist wants to be a part of

the project as well.
