I wish never happen. The Riverninety seventy three. This is the local
show, and that was Julia DennyNever Happened, And we opened this set
with Juliet Always Mine, one ofher two brand new songs on the Local
Show in the River ninety seven three. We discovered Julia Denny at our youth
(21:07):
music showcase we had last year atMillersville University, and we will be doing
it again in twenty twenty five atMillersville University, and again the whole theme
of today's show is These are youthand young adult artists that are performing at
the Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of FamePorch at the Englewood Roasting Company in the
Hummelstown, Hershey area. You cango see all of them. Juliet there
(21:30):
will be performing on August tenth,Saturday, August tenth and Julia Denny will
be performing Saturday, July twentieth.Oh, that's all right, and this
next start next weekend, all right, or this weekend if you're listening on
the Pop on the podcast, thereyou go, and this next artist will
also be performing. Just kidding.Oh, I was like, really,
(21:53):
so we have so everybody starts somewhere, that's right. Everybody starts somewhere,
even Taylor Swift. And she's fromthe Redding area originally, right, that's
hers County West reading. Why missingthat? Okay? Why missing? So
here's Taylor Swift at thirteen singing herfirst song. This is a song I
wrote yesterday and it's about a girlwho's just different and I really like it
(22:19):
because it's just so happy. Sothis is called Lucky It. She was
thirteen years old. By the way, Y go down forever everything ever,
(22:45):
that does not sound all that differentfrom what she turned out to, you
know, create, I mean that'syou can hear a lot of voice inflection
there, you know, Like yousaid, had to start somewhere, and
that's kind of what we're what we'resaying with these artists as well. They
are very established with songs and digitaldistribution on Spotify and iTunes, and you
know, it's one of those questionswhere it's like, this is where they're
(23:07):
at as a teenager or a youngadult here, and where are they going
to be when they're twenty five?Yeah, Taylor Swift, I don't know
if you know, but she's donepretty well for herself. She's kind of
the best start in the world, you know, yeah, on the planet.
So we're hoping the best for allof our Central PA youth artists.
And we're going to play one ofTaylor's songs right here. This is Taylor
(23:30):

(26:11):
Taylor Swift on the River ninety sevento three as we feature some Central
PA youth. And she was onlywhat fifteen or sixteen when her first album
came out. That's right, andthat is called Picture to Burn, you
know, and she started right inCentral PA, right in the West Reading
area. Why I'm missing, yousaid, right, yes, believe it
or not. Her her childhood home, which that song we played on the
(26:33):
air, is where she recorded thatat age thirteen. In the video the
video that before we played Picture toBurn, right, you know, I
think she was in her living roomthere or something in the video and you
can drive by her childhood homes andwhy Am Missing? And it just sold
last year for eight hundred thousand dollars. Yees? All right, Well,
that's the thing. You just don'tever know what's going to happen. And
(26:53):
that's why I think the Central PennsylvaniaMusic Hall of Fame is so great at
you know, encourage jing helping andgrowing the Central Pennsylvania youth music scene around
here, because who knows who's goingto be the next Taylor Swift. We
don't know, might be one ofthe artists we just played very well could
be. And if you'd like toget more information about any of these artists,
(27:14):
make sure you follow them on theirsocials. You can also go to
