Speaker 11 (03:09):
You just don't know me anymore?
Speaker 8 (03:13):
In what you're feeling is worth believing this is true?
I can take a guess that you're really really not,

Speaker 1 (04:59):
I we're keeping it local. It's the local show on
the River ninety seven three, the River ninety seventy three.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
This is the local show and this is our special
proudly PA episode featuring every artist performing at this year's
proudly PA event at four Hunter on June fourteenth. That's
Tanner Binghaman's Pretty Big Garden and Mozambique and we started
with kitt.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
Ape do you they're both performing on the corn Crib stage.
Speaker 7 (09:07):
That's right, yeah, Tanner Bingham, Tanner Bingaman's Pretty Big Garden.
There will be Tanjo and Crow, which is actually Tanner
Bigeman and alec Alan Combs as a duo. So you'll
hear that sound there, little little blue grassy kind of
sound mixing and up on the corn Crib stage. So,
as you mentioned, there's two different stages, right. The corn
Crib stage is a little bit of a smaller stage
(09:29):
off to the side that provides some entertainment during the
changeovers on the main stage. So both of those performers,
Kittopi and Tanjo and Crow will actually have two sets
about one to one twenty five to thirty to two
fifty five and then four o'clock to four twenty five
and six to six twenty five, so.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
Perfect, good stuff. There's always music playing because it's.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
What is it, one pm?
Speaker 6 (09:52):
One to eight one to eight pm, that's correct, a.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Full day of all things pa.

and the muscle and everything behind this incredible event.

Speaker 6 (10:07):
Everything you do, you would not be surprised. You may
be surprised, maybe not. We do over four hundred programs
and special events a year, four hundred.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
That's more than one today.
Speaker 5 (10:18):
That is true.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
That's amazing.
Speaker 4 (10:19):
Woow well, Dauphin County Parks. We'd love working with you
and we can't wait for this event. We feature the
Corn Crib Artists and now we're going to dive into
the M ANDT Bank main stage performers.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
That's right.
Speaker 7 (10:32):

Speaker 4 (13:43):
It's the local Show on the River ninety seven three.
That's the Martini Brothers. They are the first band that
you will see on the M and T Bank main
stage on proudly Pa June fourteenth or four hundred. This
is our special proudly Pa episode of the Local Show
with our special studio guest Michelle McEwan from Dauphin County
Parks and what we love.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
One of the things we love the.
Speaker 4 (14:06):
Most about proudly Pa is just the vibe of being
at Fort Hunter, right along the river, the beautiful grounds,
the shaded tree area.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
It's just it's a great place to see a show.
Speaker 6 (14:16):
Yeah, it is a great place to see a show.
And we have a lot of great vendors this year,
including Shy Bear Brewing Company, Mark and Vow's Winery, which
is the first African American winery in Pennsylvania. No, Yeah,
Castle rigg Ore, Easam's Apiary th which is doing Meads
this year, just a lot of liquid noise, your favorite trogues,
mid mid state distilleries. There's just so many great wineries, breweries,
(14:40):
and distilleries in Pennsylvania and it's really great that we're
able to promote them at this event.
Speaker 4 (14:45):
And like you said, you've got your mainstays and your
favorites that you've heard of, but you'll have people that
you've never heard of, and you'll be able to try
theirs as well.
Speaker 6 (14:53):
Exactly, and that's kind of the point of it. Yeah,
absolutely is the point. The point of it is to
you know, introduce you to new brands maybe that you
haven't tried here in Pennsylvania.
Speaker 7 (15:02):
Yeah, Pa Proud, that's right. Ultimately supporting local, you know,
just like we say support local music.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
Here. We got all local vendors, food, wine, you name it.
It's great.
Speaker 4 (15:12):
So we had just had the Martini Brothers there. They're
gonna be kicking off the entertainment on the M and
T Bank main stage. But there are three other artists
that are also performing. Audre McLaughlin who she was on
The Voice, Is that right, Brandon, that's right? Yeah, contestant
on The Voice Season six on Team Blake. And then
Aaron Fink, who of course used to be with Breaking
Ben and we're gonna the headliners are the common Heart
(15:35):
this year. Where's the common Heart from?
Speaker 6 (15:37):
They're out of Pittsburgh.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
Pittsburgh. Okay, that's awesome. There. They're great. They're one of
my new faths.
Speaker 4 (15:41):
I was gonna say, I had never heard of them
until you announced that they were performing, and so of
course instantly started going to see it. They're great. Yep,
they're really good. It's gonna be awesome. Let's be before
we break. How can people get tickets for ahead of time?
I know you can get them at the event, but
it's always good to get your tickets ahead of time.
Speaker 6 (15:59):
Absolutely you can is at our website at www Dolphincounty
dot gov slash Parks and tickets are just thirty dollars
in advance, forty dollars at the door.
Speaker 4 (16:07):
Thirty bucks for six artists and all of this incredible,
these incredible vendors in a beautiful day.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
You cannot beat that. Thirty bucks. Does that include parking?
Speaker 6 (16:17):
It includes parking.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
That and the beautiful scenery.
Speaker 7 (16:21):
And by the way, I think you know it's fair
to say this is like a bring your own folding
chair kind of event, right, Oh yeah, absolutely chair and
then also family friendly event, right Kids twelve and under
are free with an adult, so bring out the fam.
Speaker 4 (16:35):
It's gonna be awesome, so much fun. And yes, the
weather's going to be killer. I guarantee it. We'll do
more of our Proudly PA special with Michelle McEwan from
Dolphin County Parks when the local show returns next on
the River in ninety seven three, and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
Technology is changing the world fast.
Speaker 5 (16:51):
The taking all park jobs.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
But it doesn't have to be scary to get to
it short just tell any of your smart devices play
the River ninety seven.
Speaker 5 (17:03):
Three, Do I get the subtitles.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
And rest easy listening to Central PA's Real Rock Variety.
Speaker 7 (17:12):
I lived on a commercial salmon fishing boat in Alaska,
and I genuinely think that was the first time I've
ever felt myself kind of like slipping mentally. I think
Alaska does weird things to people.
Speaker 13 (17:25):

Today we're back with the local show on the River
ninety seven three and iHeartRadio. This is season three, Episode
eleven are Proudly PA Special as we get ready for
the big Proudly PA event at four Hunter Park on Saturday,
June fourteenth with Dauphin County Parks, the Central Pennsylvania Music
Hall of Fame, a full day of music and food
and drink and the beautiful grounds of Ford Hunter and
(18:05):
we have artists on two different stages with music non
stop pretty much all day long. And our special studio guests,
by the way, Michelle McLaughlin from Sorry, I just looked
at Audrey McLachlan.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (18:19):
Our special in studio guest Michelle McEwan from the Dauphin
County Parks, who puts this whole thing. In fact, I
don't know how you get all this done ahead of time,
but the day of is you're just it's like a
well oiled machine at this point.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
I guess it is.
Speaker 6 (18:32):
I've been doing this for a very long time. Yeah,
and have a really fantastic team too.
Speaker 4 (18:37):
You touch me, you take it for granted, but it
is amazing to see this all come together once. So
it's just such a great thing for the River to
be a part of every year. And we're proud to
be one of the sponsors of the Proudly Pa event.
And so who's our next artist, Brandon.
Speaker 7 (18:54):
Yes, Aaron Fink if you know him, the original guitarist
of Breaking Benjamin absolutely inducted into the Central Pennsylvania Music
Hall of Fame. He's doing a project now called Aaron
Fink and the Fury. It's a rock band. They are phenomenal.
And Aaron Fink actually just connected us with Alex Leifson
on of Rush actually because I believe it or not,
(19:16):
he has original music out there and he has a
track that features Alex Lifson of Rush and he connected
us because we just did that Tom Sawyer cover with
the With the Right.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
Yeah, So you know, it's all about networking.
Speaker 7 (19:29):
Aaron's an awesome guy, connected us, got some acknowledgment from
Alex Liife's in there and he's a well connected guy
throughout the industry as well, and looking forward to seeing
his band on stage here.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
So he is bringing the full Fury.
Speaker 4 (19:43):
That's right, full band because when he opened for the
Bad Leads back at the end of last year at Excel.
It was him and another guy on acoustic and they rocked.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
They killed it. But this is full band, full band
on the main page. All right, So here's.
Speaker 4 (19:56):
Aaron Fink and his song, the Invisible Line of Proudly

Speaker 3 (26:14):
Me?
Speaker 9 (26:17):
Obads all.
Speaker 7 (26:21):
Hey d.
Speaker 4 (26:33):
The local show on the River ninety seven three are
proudly pa special. That's one of the artists. A couple
of the artists there from our main stage on June
fourteenth at four Hunter. That is Audra McLaughlin her song
Hate Being Me, and we had Aaron Fink back there
with the Invisible Line.
Speaker 7 (26:49):
Yes, Audra McLachlin from the Delco area of Pennsylvania. She
was on Team Blake for The Voice, a finalist on
season six, obviously got that country vibe there. So she's
going to be bringing her country roots to the stage
and also featuring Sarah Spicer from the Delco area as well,
who did some country stuff in the past and has
kind of migrated a little bit into the pop realm.
(27:12):
It'd be kind of along the same Taylor Swift vibes,
you know, moving from country to pop. So they're going
to bring some great tracks to the stage, some great music,
I should say, and can't wait to see that for sure.
Anytime you have somebody who makes it on the grand
scale on the Voice or American Idol, you know they're legit.
So come on out and see that as well. To
bring some country to Proudly Pa.
Speaker 4 (27:33):
That's what I love Also about the lineups that you
guys have. Michelle McEwan as our special guest in studio,
the variety of artists that you get each year.
Speaker 6 (27:42):
Yeah, I think it's really important to focus on different
genres and to introduce people to new music. And that's
one of the reasons why we partner with Central Pennsylvania
Hall of Fame is to bring those different artists.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
To the stage for sure.
Speaker 4 (27:56):
And we have our headliner up now. And like I said,
I'd never heard of the guys until you guys announced
the lineup for this. Of course, I went right out
to my iHeart app and Apple Music and started finding
they're really great.
Speaker 7 (28:09):
The Common Heart. Yeah, it's like roots rock kind of vibe.
I think, at least the main singer. They're kind of
like a supergroup too. It's almost like individual artists that
they kind of pulled together to make this like you know, supergroup,
all star band kind of thing. And the lead vocalist
kind of gives me vibes of like ray La Montaigne
for sure, with like Mark Bressard if you're familiar from him,
(28:29):
So lots of like roots rocks kind of stuff.
Speaker 4 (28:31):
And you'll get that here when you hear the track
for sure too. And they're from Pittsburgh, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Here's the Common heart, trying to get over on our
proudly Pa special on the River ninety seven three.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
It's the local show.
Speaker 5 (29:00):
I've been holding on for some long turned around and
she was gone.
Speaker 11 (29:09):
Seven years to get me here, all this leftist botchies.
Speaker 5 (29:19):
You didn't have to leave me in the cold, but
you had to do it on your.
Speaker 10 (29:29):

Now.
Speaker 5 (30:40):
So it's got a head down for two law one?
Speaker 11 (30:45):

Speaker 4 (33:15):
The river in ninety seven three, it's our proudly Pa

the common Heart. You can see them live on stage
