Speaker 1 (00:00):
This hour of programming on seven to ten double R.
He's sponsored by Toyota City and Mamaranac and Nissan City
of port Chester, proud members of the Integrity Automotive Group
now former Westchester County executive Rob Astrea on seven ten.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
So this is it, man, Okay, I mean it's pretty
easy at this point. This is it. We've started the
voting three two, one zero seven ten, and don't don't
come out, please, Curtis, you got it. It's over. Nobody's
dropping out. This is it. It is what it is
the moment, Kenny Loggins, this is the real rob that

(00:44):
was last week's rob and the week before's robbed. Anyway,
good to have you on this post Halloween pre marathon show.
This is it, This is it, This is it. We
have one more day of early voting, and then on Tuesday,
we're gonna find out who's gonna be the next mayor.

(01:05):
To me, it's really not gonna be a surprise. If
you've been listening to me for months and months and
months prior to the primary, I said it's gonna be
Zoe Mmondami. He was gonna beat Cuomo. He had the momentum,
and I don't think I'm gonna be proved wrong. One
eight hundred and three to two, one zero seven ten.
All right, I'm gonna take the two big races, Jersey

(01:27):
and obviously the New York City mayor. All I'm gonna
go through them right now of where they kind of stand,
and then I'm gonna give you my prediction, and then
I'm gonna take your calls. One eight hundred and three
to two, one zero seven ten. And I got a
huge guest in the back room. He's in he's in
the green room right now. I don't know why they're

(01:48):
putting makeup on them, but they're doing that. He's getting ready.
He's gonna come in here a little later on and
uh that this is gonna be fun. It's gonna be interesting.
All right, let me start with New Jersey because this
is where we're gonna win. Shitarelli's gonna win this race.

(02:10):
I'm very happy that he has run I think a
near perfect race, I really do. And what's gonna be
the biggest difference in this race? And yeah, he's fortunate too.
He ran He ran with confidence this time, he ran
with He ran with the issues that were with him.

(02:31):
So in that respect. You know, I think he caught
a good cycle. He also caught a great, a great
campaign across the river which caught a lot of attention,
but also is scaring the crap out of a lot
of people, and that's Mam Domi. So he has the
ability to run against a Mam Dommi and the dangers

(02:52):
of what he stands for coming across the Hudson. But
he also has a terrible opponent. Mikey Cheryl is horrible, horrible.
And then the third head of this horrible medusa is Murphy.
Phil Murphy is terrible and people in New Jersey have

(03:14):
soured on Murphy. And then the one thing that Mikey
Cheryl was expecting was the TDS to come back and
flare up. Well, it ain't there. This whole Trump derangement
syndrome that was a big factor in the past just
isn't there like it was in the past. Now, look, okay,
you got the TDS with the far left. That's gonna

(03:35):
happen there. You know, no matter what he does, no
matter what he says, they're gonna go cuckoo for cocoa puffs.
That just happens. But the average New Jersey and right now,
who is struggling and is looking at all the ridiculousness
of their electric bills going crazy? Who did that? The
Democrats in Jersey and Trenton. That'd be Murphy and the
rest of them. And he's just touched upon the right issues,

(04:01):
including overdevelopment, an issue that hardly gets any play, but
it's visceral. Same thing with these wind farms. You know,
people are pissed about that, and he's pointing that out
and he's saying, well, who are you blaming. It's the
Democrats in trent and it's the Democrats in DC. It
was Biden. They forced this crap upon us. But more

(04:22):
than that, Chittarelli has just run i think, basically a
flawless campaign and he's done what he needed to do.
The base is going to get out. They have a
good get out the vote operation. He's got super Pac
money behind him, he's got National Republican money behind him,
which doesn't always happen. And Trump Trump did well last time.

(04:45):
He only lost Jersey by six points, so it's there now.
He's got to go get it. He's got to turn
those Trump voters that came out in some of these
counties and move it and I think he can like
Passaic County, Passaic swung red. If it stays red, he
wins Ocean County. You better get your ass out in

(05:08):
Ocean County. That's a real red area. And if they
come out in strong numbers, Chittarelli's gonna win. What about
these Democratic strongholds, Well, I think they're gonna be less
than they normally are Essex County, Union County, Hudson County.
Obviously she's gonna win those counties. The point is by

(05:29):
how much? And if he can shave a couple points off,
it's a locke And I don't see where it's not
going to happen. He has done what he's supposed to do.
Republicans don't always go into these areas and ask for
votes in these urban spots in Camden, in Patterson, in Newark,
you name it. He's done that. That's how you turn

(05:53):
those points. A little bit here, a little bit there,
You depress her vote, you add to yours, or you
keep people home that would vote for her. That's the win.
And the early voting, by the way, is also telling.
Democrats normally rack up the early voting in Jersey, and
they've done that. This time too, but not in the
numbers that they did last time in four years ago.

(06:15):
That's huge because he's got less to worry about. They
have less in the bank, and the operation on game
day if you will, always favors the Republicans. So if
you've got less to make up, you can win on
election day. And he's gonna do better on election day

(06:38):
than he has in early voting. So I think Chittarelli
wins this rate. It's not because I want him to,
and I really really do. I'm just looking at the
numbers where they are right now in Jersey. I'm looking
at the early voting where they're coming in and how
and the depression of the of the Democratic vote as
compared to four years ago. So Democrats are not as

(06:59):
exc I did. Certainly they got a terrible candidate. I mean,
there's not much to like about her at the beginning,
maybe with her resume, but she's she doesn't seem like
a really fun candidate. Jack smiles, Jack laughs, Jack. Jack's
having a good time. And then she got caught up
in all these scandals and she didn't have an answer
for any of them. So I think Chitarelly wins this race.

(07:22):
Fifty one to forty nine. Okay, it's gonna be a
two point win for Chitarelly. That's my guess, all right. Now,
the biggie here in New York City, Well, if you're
rooting for Cuomo or rooting for Curtis, you're not gonna
like what I have to say. But it's consistent with
what I've been saying really since about what April May.

(07:45):
Cuomo had the massive lead in the Democratic Party huge,
I mean like insurmountable, and then the arrogance caught up.
It was the I don't need to work because everybody
knows my name, everybody loves me, and and I'm just
gonna waltz into this because I'm a Cuomo. And it

(08:07):
turned out you do have to work, you do have
to ask for people's votes. And nobody really did love you,
especially after your term as governor, and you screwed up
this city and the states so bad that everything you're
running on to correct were your own mistakes. You're the

(08:28):
one that caused it. So, ma'am, Donny, was you know this?
You allowed this chameleon to beat you in a Democratic
primary because he caught fire. And I said this from
the very beginning too. People vote. People vote for people
they think are going to win, and also who they like.

(08:49):
Tell me what you like about Andrew Cuomo when you
hear his voice, when you see him on TV, you
get you get the I don't know, the little goosebumps up,
your up your legs, No, you don't. He's annoying and
he's arrogant, and I'm reminded about that lately, where he

(09:12):
still thinks he's just gonna snap his finger and Republicans
are gonna.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
Vote for him.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Well, I don't know why, because he's the lesser of
two evils. Do you not think that Cuomo in a
few months is gonna be all about self preservation and
either getting re elected to mayor, which he doesn't want
to do in the first place. It's about restarting his
career and running either for governor again one day, or
maybe taking on and running against AOC if Schumer doesn't run.

(09:42):
That's what's in his head. This was supposed to be
the easy way to get back in and rehabilitate himself,
but he forgot the fundamentals along the way, and he
forgot that he's being dragged down by his own record.
Who's the guy that smiles on TV. Who's the guy
that kind of connects with people. It's Mam Dommy. Who's

(10:04):
the guy that ran the greatest social media campaign probably
since AOC. Ma'm Dommy. So it doesn't matter so much
what they say, but how they say it and how
they look. And here's the biggest thing. And look, trust me,
I've been in this spot. I'd been a candidate, okay,
So I know exactly what they were going through and
prepping for the debates, what it was like to be

(10:27):
five minutes before taking the stage, and the butterflies and
what you do during the debate, and I know what
it's like, you know, the weekend before the election, we're
quite frankly, there's not a lot left to do. You
try to do as much earned media by going everywhere
and hoping the cameras follow you. But we've had what

(10:48):
six days of early voting already, say the seventh, tomorrow's
the last day, I believe, and then it's Tuesday. You've
had over a half a million votes cast so far.
And at first it was a lot of you know,
fifty plus so older voters who might definitely lean against
Mam DOMI more towards the Cuomo, maybe even Curtis, But

(11:12):
that's kind of evened up now over the last several days,
more younger voters have gotten out. And what it comes
down to, it's not about what. It's not about TV
messaging anymore. It's not about ads. It's not an air war.
It's a ground game now. It's physically getting out there,
checking your lists of who hasn't voted yet, who you

(11:34):
targeted with all of your research, and you're canvassing, making
sure you get your voters out. And you know who
has an army, an impressive army, by the way, if
it's true, an impressive army, and I don't doubt it
is because he won the primary and it wasn't close.
It's mam DOMI so I would take And I've had

(11:55):
volunteers and I've had paid canvassers. Let me tell you,
the big volunteers know what they want to do. They
want to support the candidacy, they want to support the
ideas they are They're giving up their time because they
believe in you or the cause. So they're excited to

(12:18):
be part of this. They will go out there in
the rain, They will go out there in the crappiest
of weather. They're given a list. They go out there
and they knock on those doors. And when they knock
on those doors, they're enthusiastic because they're supporting this guy
or woman. In this case, it's ma'm dommy. They're going
out there, Hi is missus Jones. Home, Hi, missus Jones.

(12:39):
I gotta tell you, and they're excited. Would you support
ma'am domity blah blah blah. And you know what, they'll
sit there and they could persuade somebody or they have
on their list. This is a ma'm dommie voter. To
make sure they go out and vote. Missus Jones, Missus Jones,
please make sure I know you haven't voted yet. Please
make sure you go out and vote good, good good,
And then they follow up. You know what paid can
versus do? You're literally high and I've done this. You

(13:04):
literally hire a company that gives you part time workers
from wherever. They're not invested in the race. They're paid,
they're given ten, fifteen, twenty dollars an hour, whatever the
hell it is. Here's the list. You think they care
who wins or loses. They don't. They have nothing invested

(13:25):
except give me my paycheck at the end of the week.
That's a huge difference because quite frankly, they don't even
go out. They just look at the clock. Another hour,
another fifteen bucks. They don't care. They're not knocking on
doors with passion. Are you kidding me? So who has
the volunteer Army, ma'am Domi to some extent Curtis. And

(13:46):
Curtis also has the Republican the county committee, so he's
got the district leaders, he has whatever infrastructure there is.
They're out there doing their thing, and that's good. They
believe in the party, they're supporting their candidate. That helps.
They just don't have the big numbers though. That's the problem.
What does Andrew Cuomo have. He's got tens of millions

(14:07):
of dollars putting ads on TV. What good is an
ad if I've already voted? What good is an ad
if my mind has already made up? There's very few
people that are undecided at this point. And in a
city with six to one Democrat to Republican ratio, in
a city where most independents even left, you know, lean

(14:28):
left or are liberal, they're gonna stick with their party.
They're gonna stick with the person that excites them. Cuomo
does not excite them. Okay, it's it's been there, done that,
and by the way, I don't like what you did.
For the most part. Now, there's enough people that made

(14:50):
some movement towards Cuomo, held their nose and voted for
him or will vote for him. But do you know
the amount of people that Cuomo needed to persuade of
the undecided's truly undecided, or take somebody who was voting
for his opponent in this case, let's say Curtis a
died in the world Republican and make them vote for

(15:12):
him a Cuomo's Apparently Cuomo's getting about forty percent of
the Republican vote. That's actually impressive, but it's a numbers game, folks.
You need to get like eighty percent of the Republican
vote and persuade other Democrats who don't like you or
independence or who are undecided and get them to the
poll's view. Mamdomi, it's like tomorrow's race, Ma'mdommi's like the

(15:38):
African from Kenya starting on the thirteenth mile. Good luck,
good luck catching him, good luck catching him in When
you're doing twenty six point two even with him. So
Mamdomi has just built I think, a very big lead.
It's going to be very hard to catch him. Here's
my prediction. And by the way, the ballot position means

(15:59):
a lot. So the a spot, which is the Democratic line,
is Zoron Kwammundami. The second position is Curtis leiwa. He's
the Republican and here's why I say Curtis made a mistake.
The third spot is the Conservative Party Irena Strada, and
she's going to get She's going to get some Republican

(16:21):
votes and others who will not vote for Cuomo. They
don't really like Curtis, but they're gonna stick on the
Conservative line as an alternate. She might get a percent.
The fourth line is the Working Families Party, and ma'am
Dami has that this is this is the get out
the vote group. Okay. These are the unions that have
everything to gain from what he's gonna give away. This

(16:45):
is the Teachers Union, the you know, the AFLCIO ones,
the thirty two b j the are the these are
the lunatics. These are the blood sucking unions that just
will do whatever they have to to make sure they're Democrats,
gets in there because they're going to get it all
back when the contract comes. They've got a lot at stake,

(17:05):
and they're out there and they some of them were
with Cuomo. They jump ship immediately at around nine oh
one on primary night and went to Mamdami, and then
you got Curtis's you know, animal line, and then the
sixth spot goes to Eric Adams. He's going to get
votes too. Then you go and you get to Walden,

(17:27):
then you get to Andrew Cuomo. So here's my prediction.
And I think, I say, Mam Dommy gets forty eight Cuomo,
I'm giving them thirty one. That might be too high
at the end of the day, and Curtis is going
to get eighteen. Not that I want that to be

(17:48):
the case, but that's just the way I kind of
see it. I just think this whole you know, the
Bloombergs of the world that are still writing five million
dollar checks to Andrew, it's unexplainable. I mean, they somebody
is making a ton of money off these guys. All right,

(18:09):
let me take your calls in just a bit one
eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. If you voted,
let me know who it is, and you can tell
me I'm wrong. You can tell me I'm right. You
could sit there and cry on the phone. I don't care.
But this is your chance. One eight hundred and three
to two one zero seven ten. Here on the Rob
ask Reno Show on seven ten wor and big news

(18:30):
from AG Williams Painting, Bruce, do you know this? They
are now giving twenty five percent off all interior paint jobs.
So now is the time for AG Williams painting. No,
he doesn't, he can't fire it up. Huh I will.
I'll just tell y'all. We'll get to that. We'll get
to her singing in just a bit. But they are

(18:50):
third generation, family owned and operated business since nineteen oh six,
residential commercial. They've got expert craftsmen to come in and
do things. So this is this is the company A. G. Williams.
Don't go out and get a cheap contractor. Now you
can get the best of the best and get twenty
five percent off anything inside, any interior painting. As the

(19:12):
weather gets cold, now is the time to do it.
I mean they never do this, so this is this
is pretty cool. Twenty five percent off interior painting Agwilliams
Painting dot Com. Yeah, Agwilliams Painting dot Com in the
Westchester Business Hall of Fame. By the way, your call's
coming up next one eight hundred and three two one
zero seven ten on the Rob Astorino Show.

Speaker 1 (19:39):
Ag Williams Painting, ag Williams Painting to be Williams, just
to do the job right.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
Yeah, we're all Native New Yorkers. I think, I don't know,
there's gonna be a lot of x Native New Yorkers
heading the hell out of here when Zorn Mamdami wins,
it'll be where I was, uh this week down in Florida.
And you know how I got to the Airportlero's point
to point. That's exactly how I got there. You know why.
I'll tell you what happened. By the way. So I

(20:10):
was working for Newsmax and I was leaving my house early.
I had a seven thirty flight from HPN from Westchester,
and so they scheduled, as they normally do, an uber
and they scheduled it the night before, an uber ride
from my house, a pickup of six in the morning.
It's pretty close to the airport. But anyway, so the

(20:34):
uber never showed up. I literally had your drivers on
his way, and then your driver canceled, new driver on
your way canceled. So I had to wake my wife up,
like Starter Hall, out of bed and say, and she
was in her pajamas, can you please drive me to
the airport real quick? Because they never freaking showed up.

(20:55):
So I Tooklero's back. That spented my own Waylero's back.
My daughter went to LaGuardia the other day. She's at
the University of Michigan today visiting a friend and watching
the game. That's great, and I said her direct Liro's
point to point. I called them up. I said, please
pick up my daughter. They did, and they took her
to LaGuardia. That's why I care about my kids. That's

(21:17):
why I call Leros. Make sure you do one eight
hundred eighty two Leros one eight hundred eighty two l
e rs larostg dot com, lrostg dot com. If you're
heading to the airport, night on the town, big special wedding,
whatever it is, make sure you contact Liros. They are fantastical,

(21:38):
all right. One hundred three two one zero seven ten
big guests coming up in just a little bit. Here's
another thing. By the way, Democrats, by and large, they
are not scared of Maamdami. Why because a gallipole that
came out recently, sixty six percent two thirds of Democrats,
two thirds of Democrats have a much favorable view of

(22:01):
socialism than capitalism. Think about that. So Mamdami doesn't scare them.
Mamdami is them. Think about that. And in a pool
of six to one them to Republican, that's a big
pool for him to attract. Thirty eight percent of independence,

(22:22):
that's scary. That number cannot intersect and only fourteen percent
of Republicans. Let's go to the phones. Oh, John in
West Palm Beach, That's where I was, Hi, John, how
are you? You're on seven to ten WR.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
Hi, how are you? Es to Reno. I'm from West
Point A, West Point I was Democrat and I want
to thank you for always accepting my call. Sure, and
I turned into a Republican. But where the Republicans went wrong,
and this is my opinion, is two areas. I agree
with you that they want this to be like Africa

(22:58):
with Buchino fossil and give everything for free. But the
one thing is free is only what the other Mayor
Adams did by giving free hotels and free to all
the illegal immigrants, and he bet cars. But why do

(23:21):
we as a Republican party bring back Curtis Skliewer where
he lost with Adams and now so on Mandani has
more credibility just with his little charisma smile, and we
all know Curtis Sliela has no chance and we only

(23:43):
looking towards CuMo and CuMo don't have a good reputation either.

Speaker 2 (23:49):
That's right, John, and thanks for the call. Now, look,
I agree Curtis. There probably would be better Republican candidates
than Curtis, but he was the nominee. He ran. Others
didn't step up, so good for him, and he went
through the process and the five counties picked him. I
do think in four years, after Mamdami has been there,

(24:11):
you're going to get a real legitimate, good Republican, this
time a lah Giuliani. Back then someone's going to have
to come up clean the mess and deal with it.
And maybe that's the chance. Let's see Will on Long Island.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
Hey, Will, Rob, I don't could you explain to me
a little bit about Curtis's betrayal here he spent his
entire career focused on public safety. He has deliberately intentionally
put all of the citizens into New York in harm's way.
As a result of his stubbornness. We may have had

(24:48):
a chance to defeat socialism, to defeat anti police policies.
What has gone wrong here? It is the most bizarre
thing I've ever seen.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
Well, will let me let me turn that around and
let me and I thank you for the call. Curtis
is the Republican Party candidate. There are two major parties,
Republican and Democrat. Andrew Cuomo had a shot. His party
rejected him, and it wasn't close. And you can say

(25:22):
that Curtis should have dropped out, but I would, I
would turn it around, say, wait a minute, why didn't
Andrew Cuomo? Why wasn't he forced to drop out? Because
in some head to head polls, actually it was closer
with Curtis head to head versus versus Cuomo. And I
think because the law enforcement issue, the public safety issue

(25:43):
was pinned on Cuomo, I was pinned on Curtis. They
did understand that. So you know, I look, I think
Curtis is going to be set up for the loss
here that he allowed, you know, by not stepping aside
by the Republican Party candidate, not stepping aside for the
antagonistic Democrat who ran government for ten years as our
governor and never ever, I mean, he basically gave the

(26:06):
you know, the fingers underneath the chin. You know what
that is? The Italian woop eh mama to the Republicans
while they were there, the guy who also said in
twenty thirteen, if you're a conservative in New York, you
don't belong here. There's a lot of reasons. Why would
Republicans basically say I'm going to get rid of all

(26:27):
my principles and endorse and vote for Cuomo. I know
it's a tough decision. You got bad choices. I understand that,
but I don't think I don't think you can say, well,
why isn't it. Why is not the Republican stepping aside?
So the former Democratic governor who screwed things up so

(26:51):
badly and has shown nothing but contempt for Republicans, why
I should step aside for him. I never understood that argument.
But you know, people are making their decisions right now
and who to vote for. And there are Republicans who
and I've talked to them, who have said very reluctantly,
I'm gonna vote for Cuomo. I said, all right, you know,

(27:12):
I said why, and they would say, you know, well,
because because I don't think Curtis. I said, how do
you know Curtis can't win? And how do you know
that Cuomo can? And if Cuomo loses by fifteen points,
you're gonna feel good about your vote. But look, I
invited Cuomo on this show. I spoke to him. I
texted and called his right hand guy, and you know, honestly,

(27:36):
they didn't have the courtesy to get back Cuomo did.
I spoke to Cuomo and then he ghosted me and
his own guy, Rich as a party, who I texted.
He read it. I know it didn't even have the
courtesy of a callback to me. And I said to him,
I'm doing my part. I'm going to bring you on.
I'll be respectful, but I want you to make the
case of why Republicans should vote for you. And they
didn't take me up on it, so, you know, it

(27:57):
kind of reminded me of if you've got content empt you,
you actually need Republicans. You need to speak to Republicans
and ask for their vote and tell us why I
shouldn't stick with my party, or why I should, Why
I should reward you for everything I don't believe in
and and your bad record. And I don't think he's

(28:19):
made that case. And he's run the crappiest campaign I've
seen in a long time. Andrew Cuomo had everything and
he blew it away and he ran this campaign on
elect me for experience. That's pretty that's it's thick headed.
That's not that's not the reality. Because even in the

(28:42):
polling they didn't like him, and he should have been
ripping ma'am Dommy's face off every day, every day, and
they didn't. And now it's it's look, I've been there.
It's too late. The die is cast. I just don't
think much is going to change between now and election day.
Christen Bethpage, Long Island, you're on seven to ten wr ooh, hey.

Speaker 5 (29:07):
Well, I'm sixty two. I live in the island, but
I still do work in the city for the last
forty years, so I know that city. I'm telling you
I cannot wait till Mondamie gets elected. I'm telling you
why no, really, because I'm telling you the Democratic Party
has literally hit in the deer right now they're at
their all time low and popularity. A very common sensical guy.

(29:31):
I went to shamanav with Swasi. I went, I'm friends
with Swazi, common sensical. He endorsed Pomo. He said, Madami
is a democratic socialist. Okay, let's get that straight. The
people the middle of the road, common sense Democrats, which
are falling by the wayside every day. I can't believe
that this guy is going to be elected to mayor.

(29:52):
It's the worst nightmare for the Democrats, and it's showing.
You know, nationally, Republican registration is way compared to the Democrat registration.
So I'm just saying this is it's almost like a
plot from Trump or I don't know where the plot
is to send this guy into Manhattan at this point
to be the mayor of the city after, by the way,

(30:15):
eight horrendous years under Deblasio, okay, which I lived under.
It was amazing how quick the city went down from
the previous twenty years, which were great, and then you
know Adams unfortunately, listen, his first two or three years
were horrible. He fell in like the previous poll said.
He took the illegal immigrants in and the hotel I
saw him all over the place. It's been twelve horrendous years,

(30:38):
but now it's gonna be nothing compared to what we're
gonna see with this Bendami. The MTA lost a billion
dollars last year. Okay, I see it every day, people
jumping over the turnstiles. I can't wait. I'm just telling
you people are gonna be I'm gonna be taking videos
of people just not paying the token. Everything is gonna
be free. The city's gonna go to hell in a

(30:58):
hand basket. And you know you're not going to get
enough bus drive is to be able to drive those buses.
If this guy wants to make them free, he's not
going to be able to deliver on any of his stuff.
And these young kids who all voted for him are
going to be like, what happened to the free housing
and the free food and the free bus? You know,
it's just I love it. I'm telling you. I know
it sounds diabolical, but it's not done. These four years worth.

(31:20):
It's the Democratic Party is hitting the deer.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
Chris, thank you so much. This is what Ed Koch
said when he was voted out and somebody said, oh
I miss you, I miss you. Will I wish you
would run again, and he said no, the voters must
be punished, and that's what's going to happen. But this
is going to be the best thing politically for Republicans,
no question about it. And it's just look, this city

(31:46):
has his city's changed tremendously in the last decade or so,
and it's getting worse and worse. My property values in
Westchester are going through the roof. So thank you, ma'am Dommy,
because I'll sell at some point to some more on
from Brooklyn who will come up and pay double the
amount after they live through Mam Dommi whom they voted for, probably,

(32:07):
But it's gonna be great. Few other things too. I
got some more callers and then I want to get
to my big special guest. I don't want to forget.
You have to go out and vote for Christine Sculty.
She is the Republican candidate in Westchester running for County Executive.
Ken Jenkins the current county executive. He won't denounce Mam Dommi.

(32:27):
By the way, he created a sanctuary county in Westchester.
All this nonsense, You better go out and make your
voice heard, Okay, So please go out and vote for
Christine Sculty for Westchester County Executive. Bruce Blakeman, my friend
of course in Nassau County. He's gonna build a wall
all right on the nasauv Queen's line and make sure
these loonies don't come across. So make sure you reelect

(32:50):
Bruce Blakeman. Steve Newhouse in Orange County. He is a
tremendous guy, a patriot. He's running for reelection in Orange
and my friend Ed Day in Rockland County. Look, vote Republican,
will you please? And a new Jersey for Chitdarelli. Make
sure you get out. Let me take Mike in New
York City. Who did you vote for? Mike? Oh?

Speaker 4 (33:15):
When? When?

Speaker 6 (33:16):
What election?

Speaker 2 (33:17):
What? What election do you think I'm talking about? Yeah? Now,
who are you voting for? No, Mom, Donnie, you are? Why?

Speaker 4 (33:28):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (33:29):
Why?

Speaker 6 (33:30):
Because vote for the person who's gonna screwed up faster?

Speaker 3 (33:37):
Okay, make a point.

Speaker 6 (33:40):
I wanted to point make a point really quick about
Jessica Tish and being the NYPD commissioner. There's an argument
to be made that she should continue because of the
corruption she's actually uncovered and UH removed the SAR from
the department under her tenureship. But I would make it
even bought a argument that there should be a police

(34:03):
commission into police corruption given the corruption that was already
on the under the Adams administration.

Speaker 2 (34:09):
All Right, all right, all right, all right, you look
if you want, Ma'm dommy, he's going to put this
citizen's review board. That's going to be the end of
the police department, by the way, because they're just going
to run rough shot over it. Nobody's gonna want to
be a cop. Jerry, New Jersey, Hi, Jerry for you,

(34:31):
I'm good. Did you vote for Chittarelli?

Speaker 3 (34:35):
Oh you know what?

Speaker 2 (34:38):
Good? Good? Good.

Speaker 7 (34:40):
I live in the Princeton area and I'm starting to
see Tutarelli signs up, which is amazing because this is
as blue as it gets.

Speaker 2 (34:49):
Yep, No, that's good. Maybe maybe they're smart. I don't know.
I hope to god, I don't know.

Speaker 7 (34:54):
But one more thing, Rob, the Democrats are assuming that
their voters are dumb as usual, and that's why they're
extending this shutdown of the government, because they're blaming Republicans
and they're hoping they can pick up votes in New
Jersey and Virginia.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
Yeah, well, you watched, Jerry, and thank you for the
call you watched on Wednesday. How all of a sudden
the Senate will vote to UH to have the clean
resolution and to get back on track. Sondra in Jersey,
you get the last licks there, go ahead.

Speaker 7 (35:32):
Oh okay, I thought you might like this. New Jersey
voters have been feeling very blue for a very long time,
but they are getting angry and turning red.

Speaker 2 (35:44):
Got there you go. I certainly hope you're right. I
do Soandra, thank you for the call. I will see
at the Women's National Republican Club on Veterans' Day as
I'm speaking that night. All right, thank you. And Deep
Material Contractors, now's the time, you know. With that heavy
win the other day, my guess is some roofs were

(36:05):
like ripped apart, or maybe you're siding, Hey, you need
to have it fixed or replaced. Well, Deep Materio Contractors
they're the ones you need to call and call them
right now. They're getting busier and busier, but they'll take
your call, they'll give you a free estimate, they'll come
by and they'll do the work. New York loves Deep

(36:25):
Materio Contracting. New Jersey loves deep Materio contractors. Even Connecticut
does roofcontractors New York dot com Roofcontractors New York dot
Com for deep Poterio contracting. All right, my special guests
coming up like in two minutes, so this is gonna
be fun. Keep it right here on seven to ten.

(36:46):
Wor is there a way you can get Larrymanty on
my show?

Speaker 3 (36:50):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (36:50):
Wait here, he is here, he is. What are you
doing in New York City?

Speaker 8 (36:55):
I'm here for the New York City Marathon, but I'm
also here for your show. And a lot of people
just turned up because on Friday I talked about you
getting a guest that's really difficult to get, and I
couldn't believe you got him. And then for some reason
I thought it was funny or if I never said
who it was, and it probably just laid an egg
right now.

Speaker 2 (37:14):
I by the way, when I at the very beginning
of the show, I tease I got a big guest
coming up. He's in the green room, and I didn't
say who it was either, so I mean I could
just imagine who they thought it would be. But it's you,
and I'm glad you're here. Yeah, I know, it's we
never met, by the way, No, I know, I know
we've bound. You know, this is the thing about TV
and radio. You do all these segments and you're you're

(37:36):
on the air, laughing together and everything, but there are
times where you just never meet because you're not in
the studio together or schedules right right. But we finally
got to meet.

Speaker 8 (37:44):
I'll tell you what. I've always wanted to meet you.
And you don't know this. I'm serious. I'm not even
messing around. I'm not kidding around, because I remember when
you were at the Westchester County Airport and exposed the
Biden administration for flying in illegal aliens overnight into little
airports across the country, and I was really amazed by that.

(38:06):
By the way, that's wonderful journalism. It's incredible journalism. But
it is also what every local official should be doing.
That kind of stuff is exactly what they should be doing,
and I thought you were the pinnacle of it. I
did commentaries on you that ran across the country. I
did articles about you that I was working for an

(38:29):
organization out in the West Coast. They had like sixteen newspapers.
I wrote a column about you. I was when it
picks and wait, the commentaries ran across the country and
I did that. Oh no, I thought it was amazing.
And I'll tell you what I do. Hope, I hope
that you're not not going to give up on running
for office again.

Speaker 2 (38:47):
Do I look that stupid?

Speaker 8 (38:48):
No, I'm serious, Come on, we need people like you.
That was an example of exactly what local officials should
be doing. My feeling is, I'm sorry, I'm talking way
too much, you know. My feeling is that politicians work
to win the next election all the time, and that's
all they're doing, and everything else is bs I most

(39:10):
of them, most of them do you didn't.

Speaker 2 (39:13):
Well, I appreciate that, and you know what, you know
what was so frustrating. And I've been in the media.
You've been in the media. How dumb, ignorant and leftist
the media is in New York Because when I had
a press conference and showed them the video, they looked
at me like, almost with disdain, like really is the
video doctored? Because I was just I was mesmerized at

(39:38):
how stupid the media and they didn't cover it. They
did the first time a couple like Channel four came up.
I think maybe Channel eleven. I don't remember News twelve,
but the rest of them just totally ignored it, even
after it caught fire and it was getting some national
attention here and there. We had several million views, and
they just ignored it.

Speaker 8 (39:58):
It was amazing, and you were really good. Good. You'd
make a great investigative reporter. You were really good. I'm serious.
But you're never gonna run again.

Speaker 2 (40:06):
You know, I just I would. There are times, like
when the debate was the other night, I was sitting
there because I've been in that spot and you just
want to be able to punch back or say this.
I do miss some things about it, but there's a
lot I tell you. You know, my first race in
five for County Executive, which I lost and nine were

(40:26):
so different than what it was in my last race
in twenty one. It's just becomes so horrible personal, just disgusting.
And now, look, when I was County Executive, I had
death threats, but I never felt unsafe. If I were
back in the game now and we got death threats,
I think they would put a bullet in my head.

Speaker 8 (40:44):
Oh yeah, well no, seriously, it's gotten ridiculous. Did you
hear about the latest story about the air force one
that they have the president now extra security because somebody
had I guess there's a hunting stand they call it. Yeah,
set up to take a shot at the president. They
found that. Now the FBI is involved. I mean, it's cotton.
It's gotten ridiculous, it's gotten crazy. It's crazy. By the way,

(41:06):
what you just said about the media too, it is.
It's stunning, and it is exactly the reason everybody's blaming Republicans.
If you look at the polls for the shutdown, it's
all because if you watch CINAN or the network news,
they blame them. I saw the other day Dana Bash
had Johnson on and asked them, why don't you open

(41:26):
the government back up?

Speaker 2 (41:27):
I know, and she's supposed to be the smart one.

Speaker 8 (41:29):
Yeah, yes, I know.

Speaker 2 (41:31):
So your morning show, which I love, how you love
doing it?

Speaker 8 (41:35):
Getting it?

Speaker 2 (41:35):
What time you get up.

Speaker 8 (41:36):
In the morning two thirty?

Speaker 4 (41:37):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (41:38):
Yeah, but you don't live close.

Speaker 8 (41:39):
No, So I drive in and I get here at
about four thirty. I'm real proud that I beat almost
everybody in and I sit there and start. I love
the play sound. If you've heard, I blame a lot
of sound of you know, music and politicians and local
stories and done it when I was doing the commentaries.

(42:01):
When he did the commentary about you, I would stand
in front of a brick wall and talk about the
story and then play the sound, and would play the
sound in the brick wall like it looked like we
just lowered the opacity. But you know, it would look
like it was being projected on the wall. It was
really cool. What a lot of these guys.

Speaker 2 (42:21):
I love love Fest, but I got to know if
I kind of take an escape from New York. Oh
you don't know about these candidates.

Speaker 8 (42:29):
Yeah, okay, it's a business.

Speaker 2 (42:30):
We got to take care of it. Yeah, you gotta
get out, got to get out. But you know what,
I'm sitting pretty in Westchester because the real estate values
are going through the roup already. It's like COVID again,
all these imbeciles from New York buying sight unseen. How
do I get out? I'll pay fifty thousand for a
private school, jerks. But this is what's going to happen.

(42:51):
They're going to escape New York again, the same people.
By the way, we voted these morons in.

Speaker 8 (42:55):
I'm a little offended by LoveFest.

Speaker 2 (42:58):
I think it is a love fest.

Speaker 8 (42:59):
Lowry I I don't know if I'm feeling it yet.

Speaker 9 (43:02):
I might get there. I might get there. I'm not sure.

Speaker 2 (43:06):
You just Matt, I know it's a minute. It's like
it's like the Bachelor. Will you take this Rose? Larry?

Speaker 8 (43:13):
No?

Speaker 2 (43:13):
No, okay, you won't, No way. So what do you
what do you see? What's your final number for mayor?
What do you think?

Speaker 8 (43:19):
Mom? Donnie by six?

Speaker 2 (43:23):
That close?

Speaker 8 (43:24):
Yeah? I don't think it's no. I do only because
of the turnout, the early turnout and who's turning out
right now. It may all change, that may all change,
but I think it's gonna be a little bit closer.
You think it's gonna be double digits.

Speaker 2 (43:36):
I what did I have it at? I had it's
forty eight, thirty one seventeen. Oh my god, I just
don't think. You know, Cuomo, you got to beat somebody
with somebody, and Cuomo is not the guy. They just
they don't. His unfavorables are so high. I think people
are gonna some I'm going to stay home. Some will stick.
He's got to you know, how much he's got to
get eighty ninety percent of the Republican vote. How is

(43:57):
he gonna pull that away?

Speaker 8 (43:57):
Can I can I change my vote. I'm gonna do sixteen,
so I'm always closer than you.

Speaker 2 (44:02):
Where do you vote? You vote in Jersey? No, oh,
you're You're still in the other state.

Speaker 8 (44:11):
I vote every I vote somewhere else.

Speaker 2 (44:14):
Who thinks Jersey.

Speaker 8 (44:16):
I think Chitarelly's gonna I think it was his to
lose from the beginning. Even when the polls were saying
what they were saying, I didn't believe them. I've known
Jack for a long time. He's interviewed him several times.
He's a great guy. I really like him and he
is my god. If you were going to make a candidate,
you'd make Jack Chittarelly. He looks like in the movies,

(44:38):
the picture they have on the wall of the governor,
that's Jack Chittarelly. He's like he's like every governor in
the world in a movie. He's just really a good
looking guy. He's very polished. He's learned a lot from
the last time he ran. And I heard that bite
you played in me. I get a kick out of that.
Any question you ask him, he's got an executive order

(44:58):
and he has them all.

Speaker 2 (45:02):
So tomorrow we have our coverage for the new York
City Marathon. You're heading it up right right.

Speaker 8 (45:06):
I'm the eight am eight am to noon, and then
I'll be on election night from eight am to eleven pm.
Eight I'm sorry, nine am eight pm.

Speaker 2 (45:16):
Yeah, but that that's that'll be good. And you know what,
that other station, by the way, that quote endorsed Cuomo,
basically pulled a bud light, I think on its audience,
and that means for those of you who are upset
about what the other station.

Speaker 8 (45:34):
Hannity, everybody, Yeah, ain't fucking Clay bucking Clay.

Speaker 2 (45:38):
Yeah, I mean I do listen to everybody. By the
way I have it, is it really.

Speaker 8 (45:43):
Oh my god, it's good. It's really delicious. I wasn't
holding up. I hoped either. I thought I thought it
was going to be disappointed. But it's really really good.
I can give up Starbucks.

Speaker 2 (45:55):
How do I get a three pound of that?

Speaker 8 (45:57):
I had to order it from Amazon? Did Yeah? I did.

Speaker 2 (46:00):
Oh, you should have said, I'm the morning guy at
w o R, your flagship station, send me a couple
of pounds.

Speaker 8 (46:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (46:06):
Yeah, they didn't work.

Speaker 8 (46:07):
They would have said, hey, go to Amazon.

Speaker 2 (46:11):
You get the fight.

Speaker 8 (46:12):
I did.

Speaker 9 (46:13):
You get nothing free?

Speaker 8 (46:14):
Here? Have you noticed that I did get a nice
jacket for the marathon.

Speaker 2 (46:18):
Though, a W jack yeah, or aneartjacket.

Speaker 8 (46:21):
An iHeart jacket.

Speaker 2 (46:22):
Yeah, how's just gonna work? By the way, are you
gonna be like, there's go was another very fast African?
What are you going to say?

Speaker 8 (46:29):
You know Natalie Vaka right, yeah, Yeah, she's the producer
and she is the best radio producer in the country.
She has it all set up. We have three reporters
in the streets. We have a guy sitting with us
that's won two Olympics and won the New York City
Marathon one time. We have Tim mcclun who is my
broadcast partner. He's a local legend and uh, and it's

(46:54):
my job more than they're going to cover the race.
We also have national and world feeds, but my job
is to tell of the inspirational stories. It's amazing. Yeah,
every single person is a story that runs in this race,
and there's fifty five thousand of them, so there's a
lot of stories to tell.

Speaker 2 (47:11):
By the way, I would never run a marathon. I
don't care if I'm middle aged or not. I just
have no desire to run.

Speaker 8 (47:17):
Yeah, but I'm with you.

Speaker 9 (47:18):
Have you seen all the skinny people in town.

Speaker 2 (47:20):
Now, I know they're all over. They're practicing everywhere, and
then they're gonna have a big bowl of pasta.

Speaker 8 (47:24):
Tonight I was in a hotel and the guy said,
are you a runner? I said to I look like
a runner.

Speaker 2 (47:29):
Larry. It's good to finally meet you after all the
time being on the phone with you.

Speaker 9 (47:33):
Absolutely, don't be a stranger come in to this.

Speaker 8 (47:35):
To come in in the morning one.

Speaker 2 (47:36):
That means I have to get in really early. Yeah,
that's true. I'll do true. I'll do it. Okay, good
to see Larry and guess tomorrow at eight am. Our
coverage right here in seven ten war till noon for
the marathon, and then listen to Larry at six am
every weekday. Make sure you do that. I'm back here
next Saturday. I will talk to you and we'll go
over the race again. I think forty eight thirty one eighteen.

(47:58):
That means a ma'm dommy winn and it really wins
in Jersey. Sorry, election covers Tuesday night. Don't forget that too.
Have a good weekend. Everybody, turn your clocks back tonight.
