Speaker 1 (00:00):
This hour of programming on seven to ten Double r
he sponsored by Toyota City and Mamaranac and Nissan City
of port Chester, proud members of the Integrity Automotive Group.
Now former Westchester County executive Rob Astorina on sevent ten doublear.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
You tell them, Merle, that's what we got to do
in this country. Okay, all right, all right, you have
your beliefs, that's right. But when you start screwing with
my rights, with shutting me down, with taking away and
shredding the constitution, with coming up with excuses for this

(00:47):
lunatic in Minneapolis who had so many mental health issues,
and yet the left is twisting their panties to try
to come up with another way to explain what he did,
because it's all about the Merle Hager had it right, man. Anyway,
it's good to be with you, rob Astarino. After a

(01:09):
week off. I'm gonna tell you about that later. It
was just a beautiful trip out west my wife and
I had. And if you follow me on Instagram or
Facebook or that, you saw some of the pictures I
was posting in some of the videos. We were in
eastern Washington and Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and the world's first

(01:34):
the world's first national park, Yellowstone. Man, it was just
so pretty, so peaceful, so nice. So I want to
tell you about some of that a little later on. One
in hundred and three to two one zero seven ten,
of course, is the number to call in at any time.
One eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten.

(01:55):
Labor Day weekend? Where the hell did the summer go?

Speaker 3 (02:01):
You know?

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Should we even celebrate Labor Day anymore? Seriously? You think
about where the labor unions are taking us now, especially
the government ones, the employee ones, right, not that, not
so much the private sector ones, like the teamsters, They
actually have to work to get paid. Not these government ones.
I mean, they get paid no matter what. You could

(02:23):
be sucking wind. We could be in the biggest recession
in the world and they're just going to tax you more.
So they get paid and they're responsible to like nobody. Now,
they're all different types of government unions. Obviously, you got
the you have the public safety ones. They clearly do
stuff that are very important. I don't want to say,

(02:44):
but but you have some of these other unions, these
civil service unions that have gone completely off the deep end.
And they are pushing, like the teachers' unions, all of
this unk in this country, and so I'm wondering. I mean,

(03:05):
I don't know if it's a labor day completely should
be just like, get rid of it labor. I mean,
the labor union movement came basically out of the socialistic,
communistic mindset. I mean, look, the workers buy and large
do great things. Those that work with their hands, you know,
the carpenters, the painters, all that. I mean again, the

(03:28):
private unions they do stuff, they work or they don't
get paid. Government's totally separate, and I had my battles
with them when I was county executive because they're so
unrealistic about so many things, and so far left and
getting worse and worse to the to the detriment of
this country. But anyway, happy Labor Day, everybody. So a

(03:50):
few things I want to talk about. I kind of
pushed this aside a couple of weeks ago. I started
to talk about it at the end of a show,
but it it kind of gets into a bigger picture,
a bigger problem of where we are in this country.
But first I want to talk just about the New
York City mayoral race for a moment, sixty six days

(04:11):
to go, sixty six days to go before the inhabitants
of New York City is going to either reject something
very dangerous and against their well being. That would be
Zoran Mamdanile's stop dancing around it. He is a communist. Yeah,

(04:35):
I know the New York Post published this the other day,
but I had talked about this months ago. What the
platform of the Democratic Socialist Party is, what it actually is,
and how dangerous and frightening it is. They are the
destruction and the antithesis of what this country stands for.
And yet yet here we are, sixty six days away

(05:00):
from holding our breath to see if this guy is
going to be the next mayor. A thirty three year
old do nothing, never did anything, guy who really knows
social media very well. And that's where he is. He's
at the top because he knows how to do a video.
He doesn't know how to lift weights, but he knows
how to do a video. And so this guy is

(05:22):
very close to becoming the next mayor. Now, nothing has
changed in my mind. I've been saying this for months.
I catch flack, trust me, I catch flack from people
in my party, the Republican Party, and elsewhere for what
I think is telling the truth. I don't see how
this guy loses. I said that from the beginning, if

(05:45):
Cuomo had won the primary, Cuomo would be the next mayor.
But Cuomo did not win the primary, and so Cuomo
will not be the next mayor, nor should he. By
the way of the four choices, Cuomo really should be
the last one one. All of a sudden he's become
the hero, and people forget what he did. This guy liked,

(06:06):
you know, he lit this city on fire, He lit
the state on fire. The guy had no spine when
we needed him to have a spine. And so all
the crap we're dealing with is because Andrew Cuomo, the
arsonists lit the match that lit the fire on this city.
And now all of a sudden he wants to jump
off the fire truck and put it out and say
he's the hero. No, you don't get to do that.

(06:29):
You don't get to do that. And I think that
is why he's stuck it around twenty five percent. And
now I love these polls that say, oh, if it
were Andrew Cuomo head to head was with ma'm DOMI
then Cuomo would win if take the friggin if out

(06:51):
because he ain't. Okay, it's a four way race, really
a five way race, and that's the way it's going
to be. None of them are getting off the ballot.
I can't see any one of them saying, you know what,
I'm dropping out, even though my name's on the ballot,
I'm dropping out. Curtis Lee was not doing it. He's
already said that, nor should he. He's the Republican Party nominee,

(07:13):
Eric Adams. I don't know why he would either. He's
the mayor. He is the sitting mayor. The whole race
really is a referendum on his mayoralty, on how he's
running the city, so he should sit there and defend
what he's been doing or not doing. So then it
gets down to two people, right, ma'am. Dommy won the primary.
Sorry folks, he won the primary fair and square. Oh

(07:37):
it was a look turnout. I don't care. That's what
it is. What was it? Eight percent came out for
Bill Deblasio. He was the mayor for eight years. So
if you didn't get off your ass and you didn't vote,
you're to blame. But we are where we are, So
there are sixty six days to go to stop this
cancer from spreading and metastasizing so badly that this city

(08:00):
is going to be destroyed. And if he wins, and
I think he will, ma'm DOMI do we have to
reach rock bottom in order to like a massive fire
in the wilderness, it has to burn, burn burn, But
then you get a rebirth. Well that takes a while,

(08:20):
but we've been through that. Do you think Dinkins didn't
start the fire? Of course he did. Dinkins was horrible,
and by the way, his predecessors, so the rebirth was
Giuliani and then to some extent, because he was smart
enough to keep the policies Bloomberg, we might have to

(08:42):
go through four years of Mandami and prove how bad
things can get. I don't know how you beat him
when when he has a massive amount of money, where
he is now the focus. They're rallying around him around
the country, and they're normalizing him here in New York.
He's the Democrat in a Democrat dominated city. He's the

(09:06):
standard bearer. They're going to be way too many people
who will stick with their party. That ain't good news
when the other three people are all fighting on the
little wheel. For those other pieces of votes, well they
need to put them all together. It ain't happening. I'm
just looking at the numbers, by the way, so like
the average of the polls for the last two months,

(09:28):
and you know, ma'm Dommy's basically stayed the same. He's
in the upper thirties, low forties, which is plenty to
win in a fractured race with four people. Cuomo is
stuck in the low to mid twenties. And I've always
said he has maxed out. Everybody knows Andrew Cuomo. Nobody
is excited about Andrew Cuomo. He doesn't have a massive base.

(09:51):
He was always six miles wide in an inch deep.
Because his money came from the big money of New
York City. They wrote massive checks out to him. He
would just play the statewide TV game and beyond dominating
on the airwaves. But Andrew Cuomo, and when he did
have the establishment, he had, you know, he had some
of the some of the the Indians out there. He

(10:14):
was the chief. But there's nothing there anymore. He lost
it all. So he doesn't have this massive army. He's
not leading a wave. No nobody cares about Andrew Cuomo
and just to see him as the guy who might
be the one who stops it. Ma'm domiant enough. Sorry,
And they got Adams, who basically is stuck as well.

(10:36):
Now he's finally come into some money, but he was
screwed by the city's board. You know, that stupid board
that never should have had this public financing. I'm sorry,
my money, or New York City's money, if you're a
city resident, should not go your tax dollars to fund
mam damie. And that's where it is, and others, and

(10:59):
this financial board is denying Adams for no reason. Quite frankly,
he'll win this in court because they think he may
have committed a crime. Sorry, it it doesn't work that way.
He was cleared first of all, the charges were dropped.
He never had his day in court anyway. You don't
get to sit there and say, well, I think he
might have committed a crime. Oh really, Okay, so the

(11:20):
system is completely friggin rigged. But he's raising some money,
but he hasn't moved yet. And then Curtis's kind of moved,
but not enough. So when you add up to three,
they could get over the hump. But they're not if
they're separate, they're divided. And so I have said this before.
I got yelled at. But you can prove me wrong,

(11:43):
you can try. I just I think I'm right on
this one hundred percent. If the election were today, ma'am
Dommy wins. If the elections next week, man Dommy wins,
sixty six days to go, maybe something happens. But he's
got a big hold and a big chunk. I just
don't see how anything changes. I just don't. In the past,

(12:06):
it used to be okay, everything starts at labor day.
Now people don't pay attention until labor days. That's just
not true anymore. Because now everyone's connected to social media.
You get bombarded every single day. And ma'am Dommy is
he's smartly identified all of his people. He's now broader.

(12:28):
He's got a broader appeal now, to believe it or not,
and people he's tapping into that frustration. And he's the
guy that gets to run against Donald Trump. And that's
enough in a city like this to get over the hump.
I love the way Cuomo is trying to you know,
he's such Cuomo is such a fraudster. He believes in

(12:49):
nothing and people know that. And every day his message
changes and it's like, you know, it's like your eighty
five year old uncle at the dinner table trying to
act cool and he gets everything wrong. And that's Cuomo
and people see right through it. You have to be authentic,
and he's not. I would love for Adams to start surging,

(13:12):
and I would love for Curtis to start surging where
it really does. They've got to pull from ma'm domi.
They have not done that yet, and they've got to
lift themselves up. That has not happened either. It's a stalemate.
And a stalemate ma'am dommy wins every day that he's
talking about Trump, or every day where nobody makes a
big move is a day that ma'm Domi wins. And

(13:33):
there are only sixty six grains of saw of sand
in this hourglass. That's how it works. That's how it works.
One eight hundred and three two one zero seven ten.
One eight hundred and three two one zero seven ten.

(13:54):
You're more than welcome to prove me wrong or try
to prove me wrong. I will. I will push back
on you if you if I think you're wrong, But
give me a buzz and three two, one zero seven ten.
I'll take some of your calls on this. Oh I
gotta tell you about Deep Bterio Contracting. My god, So
here's the deal. Do you have like a roof that

(14:15):
has algaeo all over it, or holes in your roof
and you're getting water in your house or wood is rotting,
or your gutters are clogged constantly. Okay, here is what
you do about it. You call Deep Baterio Contracting. These
guys are fantastic. Now you can call them at nine
to one four four oh nine seven oh six oh

(14:38):
nine one four four oh nine, seven oh six oh
or you can go to Roofcontractors New York dot com.
Roofcontractors spell out new York dot com and then look
at everything that they do there. They do obviously roofing,
they do gutters, they do windows, they do siding. It's

(14:59):
time to give them a and by the way, they
do chimney work too. Boy, it's been chilly the last
couple of nights, actually beautiful sleep sweep, sleeping weather. But Bruce,
I see, I see his face light up. Whenever I
stumble on something. His face lights up. He's so excited
to make that into a cut So anyway, call Deep

(15:19):
Material Contracting or better yet, go online roofcontractors in New
York dot com. They are licensed, they are insured for roofing, siding, gutters, windows.
These are the guys they serve the whole metro area.
Just give him a buzz and find out they'll give
you a free estimate. That's what they'll do. They're licensed
and insured, so called deep Material contracting. Right now, all right,

(15:44):
I will take your calls. I see some people want
to talk about this. One hundred and three two one
zero seven ten. Can ma'am dommy be beaten? I say no,

wor what do you mean you're not part of the
Integrity Automotive Group? Are you kidding me? This is like

(16:04):
the big sales weekend for cars, right Labor Day weekend.
Big time to buy a car. So I would recommend
Toyota City in Mamaronick in Westchester County. They've got a
huge inventory of all the models that you'd like, and
of course transparent pricing, so you don't get the old

(16:25):
car salesman bs. You actually get their word, you get
their handshake, and you get the deal that you actually
agreed on. So make sure you get to well, you
can go if you want into Mamaronick to Toyota City,
browse around, walk around, put your nose against the window
and that brand new car and make a smudge mark.

(16:47):
Or you could just go online if you want and
just you know, look up Toyota cityany dot com, Toyota
cityeny dot com for all their big sales right now,
and of course you would have every vehicle imaginable that
is on sale or of course that you might want.

(17:08):
So trade in your car, got a good deal, go
to Toyota City in Mamernick. Be part of the Integrity
Automotive Group. Toyota cityany dot com, Toyota City and why
dot com for transparency, efficiency and respect. Nine one four.
I was gonna say that, should I read the number

(17:30):
again for them? I actually didn't read it. But you
know I never give the number nine one four, six' eighty,
five six' three. Oh FOUR but i don't want to
give THE number. I did those numbers are so hard.
To remember just go to, their website, Their website toyota
cityan wy. Dot com, all right here we go one

(18:35):

I would i would Love for curtis to. Win this
i'd be Happy With. ERIC adams i. Actually would you
know what if It's Mam, domi cuomo Let ma'm. Dommi
win let him destroy the City cause cuomo does not.
Deserve it let's Start with Tony. In, Westchester, Hello, tony.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
Hey how are?

Speaker 4 (19:02):
You good you probably recognize me BY face i help
you back back in the DAY in Jp and white,
playing well, Thank You john tanella and all. THE boys
i have a Scenario well bush, situation yea And broke
boes Away from Bush and. Clinton Won otherwise clinton. Won

(19:23):
won so it's The four democrats Running The New york
city Are gonna they're gonna eat. Their own they're gonna
split all, the Boats and curtis is gonna get, everything
else including the Jump ship democrats that jump ship and
independs the conservative Conservative. VENUE republican I think curtis has,
a chance, good chance but this is the only year that's.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
Gonna happen, All, right yes, And, no tony let me.
Take that let me take. That Scenario, so cuomo let's
Say he cuomo has been holding firm at twenty. Five
percent so let's say he ends up with twenty. Five Percent,
eric adams let's say he, gets, fifteen sixteen. Twenty, Percent
okay i'm just saying where they are now and where

(20:03):
it might end. Up being where are? We now We're
at so his twenty Five, for cuomo Let's give. Adams
fifteen that's At. Forty mam dommie is at forty something
percent of. These polls He's a democrat in a City
where democrats Out number republicans eight. To one he has
a massive pool to. Draw FROM so i don't know

(20:26):
how he goes from Being the democratic nominee he won,
the primary where they are rallying, around him where the
unions are all, with him now where The national democrats
are gonna tiptoe but they're going to be. With him
how he goes from forty to forty five percent down
to twenty. TWENTY five i JUST don't i don't see
how the erosion would be there For the. Democratic NOMINEE

(20:49):
so i just don't. See that What's that.

Speaker 5 (20:51):
There's four democrats wonder on isn't?

Speaker 6 (20:53):
It?

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Cool yeah but only one of them Has the. Democratic
line and that's a big factor because the, You know
democrats are going to stick with their party and they're
going to go in there and they're going to be
pissed That the democrat is. Being attacked they're going to
Love mam domi for going after and for going After
yeah cuomo to, some extemp but really Going After. Donald
trump and he's gonna make This The donald Trump mam.

(21:15):
Domi race and that's all these morons need. To hear one, and,
three two one, zero Seven ten Sondra From. New Jersey, Hello, Sondra,
HELLO well.

Speaker 7 (21:29):
I have TWO things i wanted. To, say One on,
november thirteenth you are going to be the guest That
The Women's National. Republican club and the reason that's the
date is because we're going to need a psychiatrist after.
This election there are going to, be many, many people very.
Very upset if your prediction, is right and even if

(21:51):
you are, not right we are going to have a
lot to. Talk ABOUT so i wanted to all your
loyal listeners to know that you could see come to
the forum which you are going, to lead and help
us deal with emotions that might, be happy that might not,
be happy whatever the case. May Be but i'm Optimistic

(22:13):
About curtis lee. WERE winning i bet at the last
minute people are going to panic and they're gonna do
the right thing in vote. To him, YOU know i
heard three women call last, week, SAYING well i don't
know if cards can do. The job that's how, they
SPOKE and. I laugh i say, to myself he can't do,
the job and this guy can do. The job never

(22:35):
looked at day in, his life thirty few. Years old
Their Questing curtis lee who knows the city like like
like he knows every toe on. HIS foot, i, mean
really people have to wake up or else they're going
to be good, and sorry and THAT'S what i wanted.
To say but we're gonna Need You rob november thirteenth to, Help.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
Us sondra i'm gonna be your emotional support dog. That.

Speaker 5 (22:59):
NIGHT yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
I appreciate, the invitation OF course, i ACCEPTED and i
can't wait to Be there, November Thirteenth Women's National republican
club Right In, midtown manhattan Across From. Saint patrick's so
thank you, Very much sondra for. THE invite i look
forward to. That evening one hundred and three to two
one zero Seven Ten. Alan yonkers, so al let me,
say this and for those of you on the Periphery

(23:25):
Of New, York city yonkers, being one, of course you
could have one one Foot, in yonkers one Foot In
New york city In, the bronx, Same thing queens and
walking Over To. Nassau county if this guy, gets elected
Those In, nassau county Those, in westchester you're gonna, suffer

(23:45):
too because, this imbecil with his horrible public safety policies
is gonna make, things worse and there ain't no border
that a. Criminal sees all this junk is gonna move
up and worse, Than that you're gonna have These Little
man Dammi's in Westchester, and nasau all these crazies on,
the left they're going to start following him and his

(24:06):
policies that they're going to bring them up to Places
like Yonkers in westchester.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
As, Well, YEAH rob i agree, with You but i'd
say More in Westchester. Than Nassau nassau county Is a.
REPUBLICAN stronghold i Have A republican, I mean i have cousins,
out there very. Wealthy enclaves to have a county executive
who is likely to be, Re Elected, bruce blakeman, because
yeah he's, Very popular i'd say More In. Westchester county

(24:33):
we've seen the Diminishing, in yonkers the crime in the
southern west part of, The CITY so i think it
Would hit westchester more than it Would Hit. Nashau COUNTY
and i agree.

Speaker 2 (24:42):
With You west chester's, become very. Very, progressive, unfortunately Yes
very and That's Why, christine skelti my, good friend is
Running For westchester county Executive. THIS november i hope everyone
goes out and supports her and votes, for her both
her three times at if, you can and that, you
know but this Is where republicans might have a shot

(25:06):
in places where they might, not ordinarily because if you
have half, a brain you're going to realize That the
mamdami effect is going to be. Very scary and we've
seen this in, the past, you know these indivisible groups they, were.
Called RIGHT so i REMEMBER when i was running for reelection,
in SEVENTEEN which i ended, up losing EVEN though i.

(25:30):
Was crazy our poll numbers, were very, very good Even,
from democrats believe it. Or not so in an, ORDINARY
year i likely would have. Been, Reelected However donald trump.
Had won trump derangement syndrome was off the charts in that,
first year and we were the first opportunity for people
to go out and, you know Vote, against trump which

(25:51):
was All the democrats were. Running on and that is,
somewhat similar although it's not as, bad Anymore the, trump
Effect because trump's actually doing a, good job and people
other than some of The, hardcore democrats, you know they
see him a little. Differently too with things going Well
and i'm cracking down on the illegal immigration and the.
Crime issue now look what HAPPENED. IN dc i mean

(26:12):
he cleaned that up in. A week even the, mayor
There the, Democratic Mayor, muriel bowser admitted to. Her credit
she Admitted that trump Deploying The national guard has had an.
Amazing effect so there's a lot of. GOOD things i
still think, the economy although very. GOOD signs i think
prices are a little too high still, for people and

(26:32):
that could be. An issue but the point, Is This
mam domi is an, opportunity Too, for Blakeman For, christine
sculty For Ed, day rocket all these other Counties and
republican candidates to actually Run against mamdami because he is a.
True threat and you, know what if they're going to

(26:54):
Run against trump and Make every Republican The donald trump,
of wherever then we have every right to Run Against
mam domi.

Speaker 8 (27:03):
And.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
Every democrat make them Run With. Mam dommy that's a.
Legitimate thing do you Agree With? Mam domi do you
agree with his POLICIES, ON x Y. And Z so
i think there are opportunities in the suburbs to turn
this whole table around and Run. Against mamdammy. It's fair
let's go To uh Dennis And. Staten Island, Hi, dennis.

Speaker 6 (27:28):
Hello, MAN listen i got two ways. This thing if.

Speaker 4 (27:34):
Man do, like that so if, gets in everybody would.

Speaker 6 (27:38):
Open up what the hell he's?

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Doing recording what's?

Speaker 5 (27:42):
Going?

Speaker 2 (27:42):
On there? Is skipping what? Is that it was a
Really bad that was An interesting it WAS like ai
and he can call back maybe with a. Better phone
Steve In Central, New jersey you're on seven TO ten
Wr The Rob. Astraino Show, Hey Steve, Hey.

Speaker 5 (28:04):
ROB rob I think curtis, could win, All right and by,
Full disclote i'm Here In. NEW jersey i can't vote.
For him i'm not working on. His campaign, see.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
Now if you Were, a democrat you could vote.

Speaker 8 (28:17):
For him.

Speaker 2 (28:19):
It doesn't matter where. They live they could vote for
anybody in the country. Multiple times by, the way, all.

Speaker 3 (28:25):
Right he can win.

Speaker 5 (28:27):
Two things for him, TO win i think four people
have to stay in, the race and he needs a
high vote to, turn out much more significant than the
twenty five percent you've got in the last two two
mayoral elections in twenty seventeen and. Twenty One, but rob.
HE'S waiting i hear him on. Other shows he wastes
a tremendous amount of time talking about he knows the

(28:48):
History Of, new york he knows where the.

Speaker 8 (28:50):
Bones bread all well.

Speaker 5 (28:51):
And good he needs to focus, on issues. Talking points
would you like SOME suggest i could give some suggestions
you feel like just a few and treat, you huh go.

Speaker 2 (29:01):
Ahead quick if.

Speaker 5 (29:01):
You want he's talked a little bit on. Your show support,
the police broke the, windows theory tough, on crime improve
the quality, of life get, the homeless, the illegals the
crooks off. The streets work with the city council to
try to, reduce taxes reduce. The regulations that's for the,
business community. All right he talks about being tough on blue.

(29:22):
Collar crime how about the white? Collar crime he says
he knows where the bones are buried, there right where
the corruption, Is there try and go For a curtis
talk about it right and people doubt his experience to run,
the city say he, Should say i'm going to bring
surround myself with good people who will, advise ME and
i will take. Their advice. All right drop the thing
about the. Pet sanctuary the only talk about pets he

(29:44):
should do is he's going to get rid of the
rats in. The city i'm talking about the real rats
that habit. The city the, last POINT and i want
to compliment you. On it he needs to Point, out,
mandani right that's, his name, all right He's a, communist
supporter curtiscuseus as opposed. To me i'm A. Patriotic american
if he could keep focused on that and expand upon

(30:06):
it a little bit these, talking points he could win.
That election, double down, all right and stop with all
this nonsense that he talks about going back fifty years
or so With the. Guardian names it's, not. Important though
what do, You, Say, rob yes, Thank.

Speaker 2 (30:18):
You STEVE look i have Said and curtis who his
credit is doing. This now it's a, little thing but it's,
it's symbolic and. IT'S important i go BACK to I
just i throw this Out because i've experienced, all this
having run, for governor having run and served as county Executive.

(30:38):
In westchester, You know i've been in, their shoes just,
different races but it's all. The same AND when i
was running in Nine Against, andy spano Who the, spano
machine he had gazillions of dollars, name id he had
the enrollment advantage all that kind. Of stuff but he was,

(31:01):
calling me and, you know doing, it derisively that. Radio
guy i'm running against this. Radio guy what does? He
know that's what he would say, about ME and i
would hit him, BACK with i know that you're running
this county into. THE ground i know that you're raising
taxes that people. Can't AFFORD and i would go, through

(31:21):
that and it was. Catching ON and I remember i
was at an event. One night it Was The Westchester,
county association the, business group and he was THERE and i.
Was there he gave. His, presentation first he did look
kind of tired, and old but he basically defended the,
status quo defended free health care for. Government employees and

(31:43):
so eventually it was my TURN and i got up
THERE and i offered something. Very DIFFERENT and i remember.
That night one of the top people Of The, county association, In.
Fact altobello aldbello used to be the, county Executive a
democrat and an. Amazing Man great i'm so HONORED that
i have. Known him he passed away several, years ago

(32:04):
but he was a. Great person he came up to
me that night, and says you know what the you
know what the, talk is and of this in, this
room that you're going to be the next. County Executive and, i'm,
like wow why he goes because you looked like a
county executive. Up there and my Point to curtis is.

(32:25):
THAT beret i know it's, your symbol but you need
to look like. A mayor you need to look like
you're ready to take this city and turn, it around
that you're ready to walk Into city hall with authority
and be. The mayor and we All know curtis and

(32:46):
thank him for what he's done for, the city for. Public,
safety incredible. Incredible Career and i've been fortunate To know.
CURTIS forever i mean we worked together way, back when
starting in two thousand, and One so i've known him a.
Long time but part, of perception part of IT is
i gotta look at you and think you're going to
be the mayor and that you can do. This job

(33:07):
and that beret cuts. Both, Ways NOW so i, mentioned
THIS and i think he's catching, on too because he's
talked about. The beret that beret, comes off people will
see him in a. Different light get the red, jacket
off that satin jacket from, nineteen seventies put on that

(33:29):
suit and be, the mayor act like. The mayor you're
ready on, day one and all of, a sudden some
of the business community is going to start looking at,
you differently and that. Is important the perception is. Really
important and when you're at that Debate With, andrew cuomo who,
looks tired is tired and screwed up the state. So

(33:49):
badly when you're in that Debate Against, eric adams who
has had his opportunity and for, whatever reason people think
the city is not going in the. RIGHT direction i
still think he is a. LEGITIMATE candidate I still i
would one hundred Times Have eric adams as the mayor Than.
Mam domi and then You, have mamdami who is, you

(34:11):
know sweet, talking slick hasn't done a thing in his
life and really has some very scary and dangerous policies
that he. Believes in curtis does have an opportunity if
he looks like the mayor to come across and get
a second Look, in OCTOBER and i think that's where
that's where we're. GOING now i pray. That happens but

(34:34):
in the next sixty, six days people have to see these,
four people these candidates and judge who they want to leave,
this City and curtis has an opportunity to be heard
and seen other than the guy with all, the cats
other than the guy with the bray and the guy

(34:55):
that rides, the subways because that's not what. We're electing
we're electing a guy that has to run a massive
city with a lot of people hoping that the mayor
can do the. Right thing Steve In, westchester county you're
on seven to TEN. W r how Are? You? Steve hi, Hi?

Speaker 8 (35:17):
There rob how are? You? There good.

Speaker 6 (35:21):
I'd like to see if if you can offer some
help in regards To, con edison because there has to
be some type of citizens association formed to.

Speaker 5 (35:37):
Oversee, them well well not.

Speaker 2 (35:39):
See it see ONE thing. I can't this isn't the form.
To do if you, send me send me a message,
OR something i. Will do there is a there's A Public,
service commission which is, obviously atrocious and the. Rate HIKES
but i don't. WANT to i can't be sitting here
solving your kind of problem right now on the air
because we got a lot of people want to talk,

(35:59):
About This, Mayor ray so send me, A message We'll
get i'll talk to you the, off air, All right Chris,
And Bethpage. Long Island, Hey Chris.

Speaker 8 (36:08):
Hey, Rob listen i'm gonna cut to. The chase i'm A,
registered republican A big, trump supporter a big supporter. Of
yours let's just cut right to, the, Chase Please and
i'm going to call you in two months and tell
you what's. Going On unless Curtis And eric adams, Dropped
out cuomo will Beat. Men dommy he's the only one

(36:29):
that can. Beat him, i'm Sorry and i'm tired of
hearing about all these, You Know mark simone talks about
and this and that With how cuomo ruined. The city.

Speaker 5 (36:39):
He, did listen he.

Speaker 8 (36:40):
Got one out on bogus sexual.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
Harassment, charge well but first, of all hold, One second
hold on, One, Second, chris yeah you live died by by,
those policies and he lived by. Those forever it was
the me. Too movement It was cuomo was, sitting there
all women most, be believed, you knows animal all, this
crap and then all of, a sudden when thirteen different

(37:04):
women accused him, of something all of, a sudden all
women must not. Be believed he's the one that put
these policies in Place In New. York state he's the
one that signed all these laws like no, Cash BAIL
so i do blame him because he is. To blame
it was his hand that signed all, these bills that did,
all this the, kangaroo courts that so many young men

(37:25):
were thrown out of college or or had their, lives
ruined or the reputation's room because all women must. Be,
believed now that's not, our system but That's what. Cuomo
PUSHED so i have zero sympathy for him when it
caught up, to him because he. Knows better this is
a country where you are innocent until. Proven guilty But
when trump, was there it was okay until it all

(37:48):
of a sudden Went On. Andrew cuomo then it. Wasn't
okay then the law must, you. Know, prevail, sorry, Sorry.

Speaker 8 (37:55):
Goad chris rob you can say this till the cows.
COME home i. Get it i'm totally. WITH you i.
Get it but all the polls show That if Adams
and curtis, dropped Out that cuomo Would.

Speaker 2 (38:08):
Beat mendomi but first, of all let me, tell you let,
Me say i'm gonna stop you there for. A second
we're living in a fantasy world all, these, ips okay
and that's what that's why everyone is all caught up
on the, if this, if that if if, ain't happening
if this Is, not march this Is, now september in,

(38:29):
two days and this is where. We are so the Reality,
Is cuomo Adams and Sliwa and jim whatever is on
the ballot, they are their names are not cannot. Come
off so they will get votes no. Matter what even
if They say i'm not, running anymore which is never,

(38:50):
gonna happen they are still going to, get. Votes period
that's just it's just. A reality and what you're going
to see Also is mamdami has such a good not only,
social media but he has the unions who are out
there who love him because he's gonna give away, the
store as well as these volunteers that he has, built

(39:14):
up and they're going to come in from all over,
the country by, the way to help. This guy so
when you've got an army knocking, on doors identifying voters
and getting those voters to the pole and getting their
absentee ballots and getting them to vote, by mail you
got that all in. The bank. That's it cuomo does
not Have that That's what. I'm saying people are living

(39:36):
on The. Name cuomo cuomo might, have money but this
ain't gonna be WON by. Tv ads it. Will not
it is about getting your, vote out gotv get out.
The vote cuomo doesn't have. That anymore and no matter
if somebody writes out a six million dollar check to,
his pack that ain't changing. Things Either the mamdami voters

(39:58):
are ready to run fire for, this guy and they
can only. Go up he has not reached, the. Ceiling
folks cuomo has, a ceiling by. The way you look
at his numbers as negatives are through the roof because
people realize who. He is adams unfortunately. Does Too and
i'm Rooting for Adams or i'm Rooting For. Curtis Leewa
but i'm dealing with the, reality here and the reality

(40:19):
is they're on. The ballot it is what. It is
Joe In West, new york you're on seven TO. Ten, Wr,
YEAH rob i like.

Speaker 9 (40:31):
Your evaluation you're definitely right where all the characters that
are there that mcdonney is gonna win by. A landslide,
believe me he's gonna get all. The votes everybody's. Behind
them the young generation wants a. New change even a
lot of people In A democratic party and they. Want
them they're gonna go.

Speaker 8 (40:51):
For, Them, Schuma.

Speaker 9 (40:53):
Jeffreys hku, they're silent but they're. Behind them this guy's
gonna go win so EASY.

Speaker 2 (40:59):
That i don't know If, If hochel schumer and the
rest of them are, BEHIND him i think he scares
them because if he WINS and aoc becomes even. MORE powerful,
i mean these, establishment types they're just not where the
where the heat is In The democratic party, right now

(41:21):
and where the heat is Is Where mam. DAMI is
i mean, it's frightening and but that's that's what.

Speaker 8 (41:27):
It.

Speaker 2 (41:28):
IS uh i gotta uh WHAT else i gotta, Do,
HERE bruce i never actually got TO what i wanted to.
Talk about we have to put that. Great radio it is.
Great Radio h let me get OH A g williams PAINTING.

Speaker 1 (41:44):
Painting g williams painting the.

Speaker 3 (41:48):

williams truck to pull up in front of. Your house
but these guys with their old rolls come out and
go and make your house look beautiful outside. Or inside
if your house is like, worn down if it hasn't
gotten a. Little pretty you need to get these guys.

(42:11):

all the all the you know stuff that needs to.
Get done they're not gonna build a, new house but
they'll come in and get out the rotted wood around.
The windows they. Make it it makes such. A difference
they're really good at what. They DO. A g. Williams
painting they'll, do, residential commercial, expert craftsmen best of. The

(42:36):
best so make sure that you don't go to a
cheap contractor call them up their license. And short. They're
certified they are the people you trust to do the.
Job right they're In The Westchester business Hall. Of Fame
Ag williams painting Dot Com agwilliams painting dot Com.

Speaker 1 (42:57):
At WILLIAMS Paint j williams.

Speaker 8 (43:04):
To do the.

Speaker 2 (43:05):
Job right who didn't sing that song if you grew
up in the seventies or even, the eighties or you
don't sing. It Now That's. Gloria gaynor she was disco
in the disco error in. The, Seventies, RIGHT yeah I
mean i want to sing. That song AND so i

(43:27):
got this thing From The. Daily news, you know one of,
the alerts like real. Journalism here, You know trump took
Over The. Kennedy, center good And So gloria gaynor is
going to be among several that will be honored At
The kennedy center By, the president and so like a,
Big Expose The daily, news, says, Oh Well gloria gaynor

(43:56):
is being honored At The kennedy center because she's A.
Maga republican she's donated Money. To republicans they can't even
see what, they wrote how disgusting it is and how elitist.
It Is gloria gaynor has, no talent according To The,

(44:20):
daily news because she. Gave money she doesn't. Deserve this
but all the other liberal artists through, the Years The
bruce springsteen's and everybody else who did get, the award
of course they. Were talented they, earned that not that they,
gave money and they all did To. The Democrats But
gloria gaynor happens to Be, a republican so she doesn't,

(44:44):
deserve it no matter if she, has talent and evidently
she doesn't now even though they probably all sang Her
song that's where, We Are, CRACKER barrel i gotta Talk about.
Cracker barrel, one SECOND because i love. Cracker barrel every
time we go on they when the kids were, going
up we would have these long rides wherever we've gone
down To The, outer banks or we've Been, in, florida

(45:07):
whatever we would stop at a cracker a barrel BECAUSE
obviously i love, THE food i. Really do i'd like the.
Atmosphere there but it's. It's economical it's actually you get,
good food a lot of a lot. Of it and
if you, got kids it's like it's all, about quantity.
Not quality just shove something down their throat to the.
Next meal but when, you're paying you know the prices.

(45:31):
At restaurants now you know who wants a twenty five
dollars entree for a kid who's not gonna. Eat it
cracker barrel is actually. Good food but this is the
perfect point Of these they learned. No lessons but it's
more than JUST the ceo who came in and wanted
to change, the logo not understanding their. Own constituency if,

(45:57):
you will their own Client tell and that's. The problem
you have so many of these. Corporate boards you talk
about diversity through, the, years, diversity, DIVERSITY diversity dei. We
need we need someone from the trans community on, our
board even though we have nothing to do with anything.
Like that we're a. Beverage company whatever, we need WE

(46:17):
need x amount, of minorities WE need x amount. Of
women that's what, they became and they lost focus on
their own company and who their own. Clientele was and
that's exactly what Happened To. Cracker barrel so what we
Re Is cracker Barrel good bruce cut. It up so

(46:38):
that's exactly why corporations have failed because they don't realize
who their. Customer is they're trying to appease somebody who
doesn't even want to go to their place because they
think that's what they have. To Do So i'm i'm
Really Glad cracker barrel took it on the chin and reverse. Course.

(46:59):
Quickly smart, All RIGHT so i was away. Last week
my WIFE and i went out WEST and i had
board Meetings, in Jackson. How wyoming so we were gonna
end the, Trip there so we took. A plane we Went, To,
spokane washington In, eastern washington the inland they. Say, There,
spokane yeah a lot of homeless and not a. Great city,

(47:23):
but anyway we started In, eastern washington and then we Drove, To,
Cordlane Idaho, northern idaho, a beautiful cute, little town. Beautiful
lake It's Like lake georgie in, many ways but just really.
Really nice and then we spent Time, In bozeman montana
and went to the beautiful Heritage Ranch Diana Fields dead

(47:47):
i'm gonna say hello to her because. We glamped we
stayed in an outdoor tent on her. Beautiful ranch it.
Was spectacular and then we Went to yellowstone To The
old Faithful in. Zantara property This goes they built this
in nineteen, oh four and we stayed in this room
that was like from nineteen. Oh four it was so

(48:07):
amazing and we watched from Our Room old faithful the
guyser go off every sixty to. Ninety minutes just. So
cool it really what a. Beautiful TRIP and i have
never seen the sky as bright as Being, in montana
basically in the middle, of nowhere Or In yellow star
with no. Lights around you look up at the sky and.

(48:29):
See stars you never knew the sky could be. So
Beautiful and god, does exist you can't come away thinking
he doesn't when you look up. That, sky anyway it's
good to be back. Next week i'm going to Be,
in rome so my show will Be. FROM rome i
