Speaker 1 (00:00):
This hour of programming on seven to ten Douboar. He's
sponsored by Toyota City and Mamaranac and Nissan. City of
port Chester, proud members of the Integrity Automotive Group. Now
former Westchester County Executive Rob Astorina on seven ten, Wow, what.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Are we going to talk about? I mean, there's like
nothing going on this week? So boring? Geez, something would
happened with Musk and Trump. I don't know what that
was all about. Someone was talking about that, and like
nine morons were quote debating the other night too, for

(00:46):
the New York City primary for mayor. Let's see, a
violent illegal alien who is basically charged with murder, human
trafficking child pornograph has just been brought back from El
Salvador because the Left is making this guy a martyr.

(01:08):
You know, they're all cheering and ranting and raving against
Trump for having the audacity of sending this guy out
of the country. So what are we gonna talk about? Oh, Bruce,
remind me later. Remind me later to talk about the
squirrel and the rabbit. Okay, you gotta remind me, all right,

(01:31):
So let's talk. Obviously, we'll start off with the whole
Trump thing and Musk thing, and I'll take your calls
a little later. One eight hundred three to two one
zero seven ten. One eight hundred three two one zero
seven ten. Uh. This is the worst. This is the worst.
What is going on with Trump and Musk? Let me

(01:53):
start off with this.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
I think Donald Trump has been pretty darn restrained in
how he has responded. He actually gave Musk the opportunity
kind of backtrack because he was still thanking him and
talking good about him, and you know, said, look, I
don't mind the criticism, but the legislation is good and needed,
and Musk just went deeper and deeper into Defcom one

(02:20):
and firing the nuclear rockets against Trump, you know, the
whole Epstein file thing, which, by the way, a couple
hours ago Musk backtracked and took off X because now
it's come out that Epstein's lawyer and Michael Cohen, neither
of which are friends of Donald Trump, have both said

(02:41):
publicly no, Donald Trump had nothing to do with Epstein.
He was never on the Epstein island or any of
that stuff. Never implicated. So Musk, who said, hey, make
sure you pinned this post that I have here about
Donald Trump being with Epstein and being implicated in this
mark my words. All of a sudden he took that down.

(03:03):
You think he's gonna get sued for libel and slanter.
But anyway, so this is horrible. Now let's go back
for a second, Okay, Elon Musk. Elon Musk was basically
a left leaning Democrat for a long time. He's a
naturalized citizen, but his politics have always been to the left.

(03:26):
But he also saw how crazy the Democrats have become
over the last decade or so. And it really wasn't
until Donald Trump got shot in the ear and almost
died that Musk went full fledge donald Trump. But he
also knew that Trump was talking about everything that Musk
knows to be true and needs to be done with

(03:48):
this country. So that's why he put hundreds of millions
of dollars to his credit into races around the country
to help Republicans win. Now, it's likely or possible the
Republicans would have won these races anyway, depending you know,
on where they were. But look, it was always trending
towards Trump. Even the Harris admitted that they were never

(04:11):
once in the lead. They admitted that Kamala Harris campaign
admitted they were never once in the lead when she
got in, despite what the public was being told by
the media polls. But it's a great partnership that had
such amazing implications for this country. And I'm really I mean,

(04:35):
it was like, you know, unfortunately, it's Godzilla and King Kong.
And you know the old saying when elephants fight, it's
the grass that gets trampled, And you know what the
grass is us because Donald Trump and Elon Musk are
so important to moving this country in the right direction,
and they have been together and Elon Musk, I think

(04:57):
I know what happened with Musk here. This was the
richest man in the world versus the most powerful man
in the world. And I think Trump actually dealt this
way when he first got into office four years ago,
I'm sorry, eight years ago. Donald Trump, businessman in charge
of his own organization, snaps his finger and something gets done.

(05:19):
That's just how it is in corporate America or your
own business. But when he got to the White House,
he realized, no matter what he would say, no matter
what he would order, there are things, as he's finding
out again that will get in his way. It's just
called democracy. You got the House, you got the Senate,
you got five hundred and thirty five different opinions and

(05:41):
egos that all think things should go in different ways.
And then of course you got the courts. And we're
seeing what's happening right now with the federal district courts.
So Trump was frustrated in his first term. I think
he's come to realize now that, okay, there are ways
to go about it, and he's getting a lot of
things done because he learned from the first administration. Musk

(06:05):
came in and it's like Trump getting back. It's like
Trump on January twenty at twenty sixteen, let's get to work,
Let's do it. I want to do this, I want
to do that. Doze goes in like a bull in
a china shop, all with the right reasons, but they
were frustrated they couldn't get everything done. And Doze through
Elon Musk really embarrassed the government and the Democrats and

(06:29):
everything by saying, look at all this crap, look at
all this fraud, all this waste here. It is hundreds
of billions of dollars, trillions of dollars. Now, what are
you gonna do about it. Cut it all out. Well,
of course they want to cut it out, but they
can't cut it all out for a gazillion reasons. Either
it's legislated already and it has to be undone by legislation.

(06:51):
Good luck getting sixty votes in the Senate, or there's
there's a court decision, or there's rules and rig It's
so entangled it ain't easy. Look at what they're going
through right now on Medicaid, Okay, So who is in favor?
And unfortunately there's like too many people and including some Republicans,

(07:12):
who's in favor of having illegal aliens qualified from Medicaid
or having lazy ass people who are eligible to work
and are healthy to work, but choose not to work
and so they skim the system. You think that's fair. No,
Medicaid was set up for the indigen for the extreme poor,

(07:34):
for the elderly, that's what it's set up for. It's
become something where everyone's almost eligible now, which is what
the Democrats want. So cutting cutting Medicaid, cutting out the junk,
the crap, the fraud is still cutting, and so the
Democrats are against everything. And then you get weak kneed Republicans.
But MUSC is sitting here saying, are you kidding me?

(07:55):
But the reality is it's not easy, and he wanted
it to be done now, and I get it. And look,
the big beautiful Bill may not be so beautiful as
it as you know Trump describes it, but it's got
a lot of good things in there. And when you're
dealing with again, a very slim majority in the in

(08:18):
the House, and you got, you know, freaking jelly need
and jelly spined Republicans in the Senate, not all of them,
but enough of them where they don't want to cut
a dime. It's not easy. So why Musk did what
he did, I don't know. I can tell you this though.

(08:41):
I talked to a lot of folks inside the West Wing,
inside the White House. I was just down there, as
I mentioned last week, and you know, Musk has been
a little bit of a problem. They like what he
stands for, what he does. But you got a lot
of noses at a joint when he was kind of
walking around in his dope beat T shirts. I mean, seriously,

(09:02):
you go into a cabinet meeting and you're gonna wear
a freaking T shirt. That's a little disrespectful. I was
turned off by that. As much as I do, I
love Elon Musk. I love what he does, I love
what he's created. He's a genius, and I wish, I
hope that they can repair this it probably I don't
think either one of them wanted it to go this distance,

(09:23):
but it did. Now it's like, Okay, you just beat
the living crap out of each other in a personal way.
How are you gonna get back on track. I hope
they do, but it ain't easy. But must fired the
first shot, the second shot, the third shot, the fourth shot,
and Trump was pretty damn restrained until at this point,
you know, when Musk went all nuclear on him about

(09:45):
the Epstein files. That's way beyond the pale. And I
don't blame Trump, but you know, they're saying that some
of this was because Donald Trump withdrew the nomination of
this guy, Jared Isaac Men to lead NASA. So if
you saw some of the news reports, Sergio Gore, who

(10:06):
is the Director of Personnel, Basically he's the one that
kind of gathers all the resumes. He and his team
do all the research and background and vet everybody for
any potential position. In the administration or any board or commission,
any ambassador, everything, and then they present it to Donald Trump.
They say, well, here are our recommendations or here's the

(10:27):
information you wanted on this person. Now, this guy was
very close to Elon Musk. Musk wanted him in charge
of NASA, of course, SpaceX and everything else. Of course
it makes sense, it turns out. I mean, this guy,
Isaacson is pretty far left. He gave one hundred thousand
dollars donation to Chuck Schumer's pack. He's a tried and

(10:50):
true leftist and Democrat. I don't want him in the administration.
I don't care where it is. And so when they
had this, I don't know if it happened before after
the fight. I think it might have been after Musk
criticize the Big Beautiful Bill. But Sergio Gore, who again said, hey,

(11:12):
mister President, just so you know who this person is.
Make your own decision, obviously, but you should know this.
That's what he's supposed to do. The problem in the
first administration is they didn't properly vet some people, and
unfortunately you had people who were against Donald Trump being
appointed by Donald Trump to screw Donald Trump. I don't

(11:32):
want that. So Sergio Gore and the team did the
right thing. And I don't care if Elon Musk knows
God out of joint. It was the right thing because
as I learned as county executive, by the way, there
is no throwaway There is no throwaway appointment. Whether it's
the tippy top like your deputy or your cabinet positions,
or some remote board that never comes to life. You

(11:56):
better have the right people that are totally on your
agenda because you never know when an issue is going
to come up that you're gonna get screwed by your
own people. It happens all the time, but it should
be prevented. And this was an easy one. This was
a red flag. And if this is what caused Elon
Musk to go hyperventilate and go completely out of his

(12:18):
mind on this stuff, then you know what, better it
happened now than you made that stupid mistake of putting
some guy who could come back to bite you later on.
But I honestly, after all this, I do hope that
they can mend fences in some way. Elon Musk is
so important going forward, and whether it's his money or

(12:39):
his mind, he's really good. I was so happy that
he was leading dose. He did a good job. But
I can tell you again talking to people in the administration,
he really rubbed people the wrong way because he was
kind of walking around like, who is this guy? You know,
walking around like he's the richest guy in the world.

(13:00):
He is, but again like kind of that ain't your department,
that ain't your lane, Stay in your lane. But he was.
He was much closer to Trump than maybe he should
have been. And it was a fast friendship, and this
is what happens. It wasn't a deep friendship that went
back a long time, so it was kind of on

(13:20):
the surface and this is this is what happened. This
is I don't know if it's going to be repaired.
Right now they're saying, screw them, we don't want it
to be repaired. But in the long run it's necessary.
You don't want Elon Musk taking his hundreds of millions
next year and giving it to Democrats because you do

(13:40):
want to keep the House. You do want to keep
the Senate because if the Democrats take over the House,
it's going to be nothing but impeachment and nothing gets done.
But also the things that Musk is advocating will never
get done either. You think the Democrats want to take
a pencil out of the budget, of course not so

(14:01):
I don't know. And you know, you see that Trump
is going to sell the Tesla that he bought for
one hundred g's to show support for Elon Musk, who
has taken a beating from the left and the media
because he did go to Donald Trump's side. And that's
not right, the violence of the Tesla dealerships and all
this stuff. But Trump and I saw when I went there.

(14:23):
So when you go into the West Wing, it's on
what's called West Executive Boulevard or whatever it is, and
it's the road which is closed off obviously to the public.
It's all highly security and you got to show passes
and everything. But it's between the Executive Office Building, the
Eisenhower EOB and the White House. So if you're looking

(14:46):
at the canopy, if you're looking at the White House
on the right, was the Beast. That's the vehicle that
Trump uses, right, and it's parked there. It was when
I was there last week. It's got the flag and
the other cars that go with it in you know,
all the Secret Service caravan, and then to the left
was the red Tesla, and it was a really you know,

(15:08):
I would looking in it's a it's a really cool car,
but Trump is and and Trump would let staffers use it,
like take the keys if you need to go, because
he's not driving. But now Trump said, I'm getting rid
of it. I'm selling it, so we'll we'll see, if
we'll see, if you know, people were saying, oh, this
is manufactured. This was kind of a trolling and a

(15:31):
wink wink to give an off ramp to Musk, who
you know, look at his stocks and everything. They've gone
down because the left had been crazy, but may look
who knows, maybe started off that way, but it didn't
end that way and and hopefully hopefully they can fix
it for the good of all of us and the
good of our country. One hundred three two one zero

(15:54):
seven ten. One hundred three two one zero seven ten.
I will take your calls. And I didn't God, I
didn't even get into the mayor old And I got
to get into that because if you watched it, you
should be pooping in your pants at the thought of
one of these nine democrats becoming the next mayor. And
I went up against Andrew Cuomo in fourteen when I
ran against him for governor, and I know exactly what

(16:16):
it's like to be in a debate with him. And
I'll play a clip of one of my one of
my most memorable moments in life, going up against Andrew
Cuomo and sticking it up as you know what. But
we'll talk about that. I'll play that, and I'll take
your calls one one hundred and three to two, one
zero seven, ten, stick with me, don't go away, and
you're ready. Bruce Ajer Williams painting a G. Williams paint

(16:42):
thing to be Williams.

Speaker 4 (16:44):
Just to do the job right.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
Oh yes, a G. Williams painting. And now the weather
is really nice outside, so this is when you got
to slap on the fresh paint to make the house
look nice inside or out or your business. It ain't
easy moving all the furniture. You go do it. It's
the worst. Nobody wants to do that, even if it's
a small room. It's a pain. So let the pros

(17:08):
do it. And they're basically third generation, family owned and
operated business since nineteen oh six, so they'll do residential
commercial expert craftsmen they're really good at what they do.
Forget a cheap contractor it's just gonna cost more in
the end. So make sure you go to ag Williams Painting.
They're licensed and insured, they're certified. They are the people

(17:29):
you trust to do the job right. She's gonna sing
it again. They're in the Westchester Business Hall of Fame.
Go look them up. Agwilliams Painting dot com. Agwilliams Painting
dot Com. Is the lady ready to sing it again.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
Ag Williams Painting, AG Williams Painting. The people just to
do the.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
Job right, all right? A couple lines open one eight
hundred three two one zero seven ten. One eight hundred
three two one zero seven ten. Your calls next on
the rob Astorino Show. Here on seven ten w R.
All right, twenty five after four o'clock, rob ast Reino

(18:11):
here on seven ten wo R. I will get your
calls in a little bit. One one hundred and three
two one zero seven ten. But first I gotta tell
you about Somerset Electric. Bruce, do you do electric work
in your house? Are you good with that kind of stuff?
Because I'm not. Never Yeah, no, I can push a
mean button, but no not. Yeah, I can't even turn

(18:34):
a light on, but I that scares the crap out
of me. Electricity scares the hell out of me. I
don't want I'll fool around with other things in the house,
like plumbing. I mean, if I break it, what happens?
You know there's thirty water all over the floor. But
if you touch the wrong thing when you're working with electricity, no,
I don't. I think actually, I think you got to
have a little screw loose to be electrician because who

(18:56):
wants this to happen? Yeah, I want to be anywhere
near that. Nowhere near that. So summer Set Electric. Mark
Dolan is the owner there. What a good guy from Ireland.
And you know, I never thought about this. But obviously
if you are hooking up generators, let's say a lot
of people after Sandy and all these storms said, you

(19:19):
know what, I don't want to be blacked out for days.
So they've got a generator, but you need to hook
it up the right way. And obviously, like if you
have a swimming pool and you want to put lights
in the pool or hook up the electric or air
conditioning or all those service upgrades. If you've got the
old you know, like you got an older house with

(19:40):
the little fuse box, those fuses. I mean, seriously, it's
time to get into the year twenty twenty five and
you need to upgrade your service. So you need to
call Somerset Electric. They are really good at what they do.
They're licensed in Westchester and Putnam. So give them a call.
See here's the thing I said to I said to Mark,
I said, Mark, it's your website. He says, I don't

(20:01):
have a website. I said, Mark, how do you not
have a website? It's the year twenty twenty five?

Speaker 5 (20:06):
He goes.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
Yeah, he goes, I can't be bothered with that. I'm
out working and that's what they do. They just know
how to do electric work. So you know what, good
for him. So here's how you get in touch with them.
Summerset Electric at yahoo dot com. Yeah, Summerset Electric at
yahoo dot com. And they'll give you a free estimate.

(20:28):
Good guy, Somerset Electric. All right, one one hundred and
three two one zero seven ten. So I want to
before I take calls, I want to tell you about
the mayoral debate. So and then we could take questions
on the debate or on elon and Trump. I watched
this debate. It was on NBC, the worst, the worst moderators,

(20:54):
just so bad the way it was done, and they
had it was a partnership between WNBC. Uh, who's the
was it Politico? I can't remember the other organization? And Telemundo. Well,
the reporter from Telemundo, she wasn't a reporter, she was
an activist. And she's she's like crying as she's asking

(21:18):
this question breathlessly to all the nine, what will you
do to protect the immigrant community from ice? The bad Ice?
What will you do? Dallas Governor Cuomo? You first? I mean,
it was so stupid, and it's they just show their cards.

(21:38):
They want nothing to do with asking real questions. They
are activists, and you know, Cuomo, of course, the world
though is uh.

Speaker 6 (21:49):
You know, I will go up against the big bad Trump.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
I'm the only one here that can go with. And
then you got, you know, the other eight just driving
further and further to the left. Ma'am DOMI, I told
you about this guy four or five months ago, when
he was nothing. I said, this is a guy you
gotta be really careful about. This guy presents very well.

(22:15):
He's thirty two years old, he's the AOC of this race,
and she endorsed him. And he has raised eight million dollars,
all low dollar donors, which means a lot of people
are investing. It's not one guy writing an eight million
dollar check. It is all of these little whack jobs

(22:35):
who are all going to work for him, and they're
gonna knock on doors and get out the vote this guy, ma'mdami,
if he becomes mayor, you gotta leave. I'm serious. I mean,
if you're a business in New York City or or
just a normal person, you have to get out. This
guy is in favor of government. Listen to this government

(23:01):
supermarkets because that works so well. You ever go to Cuba,
You ever go to Venezuela, Yeah, you're lucky if you
get one roll of toilet paper. They can't run a
thing government, They can't do anything right. But he wants
to create all these government run supermarkets, free childcare, free
bus rides, free tuition, free everything, which of course is

(23:25):
not free. Who pays you and me? Well, I don't
because I don't live in the city, but I do
work in the city. And this is this is scary
because he is sitting there and he's an anti semit
by the way, if you heard him, he was asked directly,
do you believe in Israel's right to exist as a

(23:46):
Jewish state? And he would not say it. He would
always say, I believe Israel has, like other countries, have
a right to hiss. And he kept getting pushed and
he wouldn't say it. And he and they all supported
the crazy and Cuomo. You could just tell Cuomo's heart
is not in it. Look. I battled Andrew Cuomo when
he was at the height of his power in fourteen.

(24:08):
We went Mano almano when I ran against him, and
I you know, look, I ran a spirited campaign. We
had no money. I was screwed by my own party.
I told you about this. Governor Christy screwed me in
a really bad way. Ed Mangano, who at the time
was the county executive in Nassau, screwed me in a bed.
They all cut their deals, the leaders on Staten Island

(24:30):
at the time, they all cut their deals with Cuomo
because they were afraid of him. And you know, we
were down thirty five points in the public polls, but
we ended up losing by thirteen twelve something whatever it was.
And we had every chance to win that had we
had some money and our own team wasn't against us.
But so we had one debate. Cuomo would not debate me.

(24:52):
It was supposed to be just he and I, and
of course, like the other night, he played it safe.
He answered no questions. He wanted people around him to
eat up time. And in fourteen, when I was pressing
the media like okay, you want to actually do your job,
host a debate me and Cuomo. Republican and Democrat, no
minor party candidates that are polling at one percent that

(25:14):
cannot win, but of course Cuomo wanted them in there.
He wanted the Green Party candidate, and he wanted the
Libertarian because now instead of half the time between us,
it's a quarter of a time between us, and so
he was able to run. But Cuomo was under investigation
back in twenty fourteen, and so I'm like, okay, I'm

(25:37):
going to go after this guy, and he was going
after me. He was calling me a racist, which of
course is that's all they do on the left. But
this was back in twenty fourteen in Buffalo, courtesy of
WBEO and w NED, which aired it statewide on PBS.
Nobody watched it, which is another thing he wanted. But
this is he and I going up against each other.

(25:57):
Four years ago, Andrew Cuomo pretended to be the reformer
to come in the White Knight that was going to
clean up the corruption in Albany. He called it an
embarrassment and he was right. Unfortunately, right now he is
swimming in the cesspool of corruption, so much so that
we have a state where only in New York can
the Anti Corruption Commission have already been corrupted. And we

(26:17):
have a US Attorney, pre Perrara, who just today said
that Albany is a corruption disaster. So you're looking at
Andrew Cuomo the rest of tonight, you will see a
person who very well may be indicted after this election
day comes and goes for witness tampering, obstruction of justice,
failure to report crimes. We've seen this before in New York.

(26:38):
It has to come to an end. And Governor I
would ask to you tonight if you were just talk
to the people directly, tell them the truth. Raise your
right hand, swear that neither you nor your staff has
been subpoenaed by the US Attorney with regard to the
Moreland commission scandal. I think that would set the record straight.
I love that moment. I'm sorry I had to share
that with you because it brought when I was watching

(27:00):
the debate the other night, just brought back those great
the great time I had that night in Buffalo going
after Andrew Cuomo, who deserved it. But what the point
I'm making is I saw just a very different Cuomo
the other night. He was low key. You know, he
went back at me, He went at the juggler for me.
That's that's what I expected. I mean, he's he's a scorpion,

(27:23):
but he didn't have that. The other night. He was
and I know it's one thing to play it safe,
but he didn't answer any question and nobody pushed him.
Melissa Russo, I give her credit. I forgot to text her.
She actually did her job that night. She was the
only one because she point blank asked him questions about

(27:45):
bail reform and you know, the sexual harassment claims, and
he wouldn't answer them. He went off on something else,
and she kept pushing him, and he still would answer it,
and he got away with not answering it. But everyone
else just let him go. The rest of them the
rest to them, totally one hundred percent useless. But this
mam Domi guy is frightening. And then Jessica Ramos, who

(28:07):
is like totally deep in debt in her campaign, another
far left socialist who had nothing ever nice to say
about Cuomo, called him every name in the book. All
of a sudden, she endorsed him yesterday. Why did she
do that? Because she's cutting a deal with him. She
wants a job if he gets elected. She wants him

(28:27):
to help pay off her debt. You see how bad
it is, especially with these on the left. They have
no principles, they really don't. So the what next Tuesday,
early voting starts for the primary. Early voting has started
already in Jersey for the governor's race. And I hope
Jack Chittarelli wins that. But I mean, if you're in

(28:49):
the city and this guy, ma'm Dommi wins, look the best. Actually,
the best case scenario might be that ma'am Domi wins
the primary, because if he does, then Eric Adams has
a much better chance of winning, or or Curtis Sliwa
even a four way race. If Cuomo wins and Mandowmi

(29:09):
gets the working families party line, which they're the socialist
far left Labor Union. Nonsense. Then you've got a four
way race where Curtis Sliwa can win with thirty percent
thirty five percent. Same thing with Adams, he can get
re elected with thirty thirty five percent. So I don't
know how it's going to play out, but it's going
to be interesting. One one hundred and three two one

(29:30):
zero seven ten rob Astino here, all right, let's let's
take some calls. We'll start with al and Yonkers. How
are you al?

Speaker 5 (29:39):
Good?

Speaker 7 (29:39):
Rob?

Speaker 5 (29:39):
Good afternoon? Could you hear me?

Speaker 2 (29:41):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (29:41):
Go ahead? All right, great? So, yeah, you know, I
wanted to say, first off, I wasn't going to touch
on it, but Ramos was an awful candidate. She must
have been pulling at zero percent. Yes, she was, as
you know, as an elected official. She had no business
in that race. It was a disgrace.

Speaker 2 (29:56):
Most of them have no business being in that race.
But they are exactly.

Speaker 5 (29:59):
I don't know why they're wasting their energy, Like Scott
Stringer had no idea why you would waste all that
energy to you know, get eight percent or you know,
come in fourth or fifth. It just makes no sense.
But getting back to the possible scenario where there's four
people in the race, you know, come towards the general election.
I think, you know, I'm a supporter of Curtis Lee.

(30:20):
Well though I will live in Yonkers, I have some
people I know in Woodlaw and It's going to vote
for him. But I wanted to say, let me yeah,
exactly exactly you said it.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
Rob.

Speaker 5 (30:30):
I know you have a lot of support in the
Irish community. But Eric Adams, I think lately he's helped
himself going after Cuomo because Cuomo, you know, the two
faces of Andrew Cuomo, and he'll get a lot of
law enforcement support. So I think where I thought Eric
Adams was had no chance, now I think he has
a chance in a four way race.

Speaker 2 (30:50):
Oh no, he definitely does. And Al thanks for the call. No, look,
do not count out the mayor. He's had a rough time,
but I think he's turned the corner and in a
in a multi candidate race, a three or four candidate race,
Adams has enough shot because he's got his own constituency.
And you know, again, you don't need to get fifty

(31:11):
something percent, you could win with a lot less. But
the problem is with all this stupid. I can't stand
this ranked choice voting thing. It should be illegal. But
these are where the deals are going to get cut.
So Jessica Ramos is saying, okay, you know what, I
might be on the battle, but don't vote for me,
vote for Andrew Cuomo, or vote for me and then
Andrew Cuomo. So when she gets dropped off in this

(31:33):
rank choice voting nonsense, the next vote goes to Ta Cuomo.
So he builds up. It's just it's so ridiculous. TJ
and Brooklyn and how are you, TJ?

Speaker 4 (31:45):
Rock Ben sir A long time? How you doing doing okay?
Man doing okay? Yeah? Watching the comedy show the other night,
which was the New York City Mayrill Debate, you know
I call it. It was like seven communists and Cuomo
is like a half a communist. He does like money though,
So in the end, I mean, if you're a CEO

(32:08):
of any company in New York City, worth of darn
and you're watching any of those morons on that stage,
you're saying to yourself, if Curtis Adams or even Cuomo
doesn't win, we're in massively huge trouble.

Speaker 2 (32:21):
YEP.

Speaker 4 (32:21):
And again I don't understand what is it going to
take for the Jewish community to realize the Democratic Party
does not like them. They hate Israel. This guy absolutely
hates the Jewish community, yet they keep going back to
the guy who punches them right in the face.

Speaker 8 (32:38):
No.

Speaker 2 (32:38):
No, it's even worse than that, TJ. It's it's not
only that they don't like them, they're dangerous for them.
They actually want them dead. You know, annihily wipe Israel
off the map, anti Semitic, they, you know, hate Jews.
I mean, I don't know. I don't either. I don't
I don't get it. And still Democrats Mandami many who

(33:01):
put it in their face the other night and said
I hate you, he's still getting Jewish support. Sondra in
New Jersey said us straight, how are you, Sandra? Hold
on this? Okay?

Speaker 9 (33:17):
Coccused about something because I listened to you and I
love you and I love how you think and everything
like that. So I was having lunch with my sisters
today and she says, you know what, I'm going to
vote for Cromo because I don't want Mandanni. But now
you're saying something very very wise. You're saying, maybe if
Mendanni gets the choice. We have a better chance with

(33:39):
Curtis and Adams. Eric Adams. So is that what you're saying.

Speaker 2 (33:43):
Kind of well, look, it's a dangerous proposition. I'm not saying,
go vote from out, Tommy, because if this guy is
the Democrat, he automatically has the advantage. He'll have the
Democratic line in the Working Families party line. That'll be
that'll be difficult to beat, but they'll be there. It
will be a real coordinated effort against him in that.
Then you'll have the business community and some of the

(34:05):
big money actually give to probably Adams and fund him properly.
They look they're not I doubt they're gonna give to Curtis.
He does not have the relationship with some of these
big money people they right or wrong. And I know
Curtis forever. He's a good guy. I think he would
be good mayor. Actually, I just the way they view him.

(34:29):
They don't see him as a mayor, and so they
don't give him money, which you need. So I think
Adams would be the biggest recipient in that. But look,
if Cuomo wins and Mam Domi then has the Working
Families party line, it probably helps Cuomo, but it doesn't hurt.
It doesn't hurt Adams either or or Curtis, because again

(34:51):
everything gets split up. But this guy frightens me. He
frightens me a lot.

Speaker 6 (34:56):
Me too.

Speaker 2 (34:57):
Yeah, Sondra is good to talk to you.

Speaker 5 (35:01):
Thank you.

Speaker 8 (35:02):
All right.

Speaker 2 (35:03):
Let's see one eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
One eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. Steve
in Central joys Hey, Steve.

Speaker 8 (35:14):
Hey, Rob Ran, I'm glad you are you there?

Speaker 2 (35:18):
Yep, how you doing.

Speaker 8 (35:20):
I'm glad, good sir, Thanks for taking the call. I'm
glad you mentioned Jack Chittarelli. Just a reminder to New
Jersey voters. Tuesday's primary day and one of two only
two states having off your elections. All right, so we
want and we want to continue the trend to turn
New Jersey Republican. So here goes voter registration. Republican in

(35:43):
New Jersey is up. That is, of course good for
mister Chitdarelli, who is leading in the polls. However, we
still have to have a majority of the latest poll
I've seen, and believe it or not, Rob still twenty
three percent undecided. You undecided, folks, please get it. And
by the way, Rob, I'm not working in the campaign.
I'm just a supporter. Can turned about the high town
and prolificatet spending here in New Jersey for for Jack Chatterrelly.

(36:03):
And remember down ballot, the entire Assembly, you know we're
spending bills and appropriations come out is up for grabs
in the selection cycle as well. So find the Assembly
candidate that is supporting Jack and vote for them. And
by the way, Rob, one more time. New Jersey is
one of those states you have to vote in the
primary according to your party affiliation. So go Jack. And

(36:25):
if we can, although these Senate's not up for two
years the states, and it would send a powerful message
in November a Hidarelly landslide, get the Assembly and I
think you'll get a lot of Senate Democrats in New
Jersey to at least give Jack half of what he wants.
One last thing, Jock, next year will be twenty five

(36:46):
years that New Jersey's been living under the high tax
spending policies of let's go through McGreevy, Cody coresign all right,
and Phil Murphy and mister big stuff there Chris Christy
didn't do a thing to stop it.

Speaker 2 (37:01):
So and you can even go back further to Christy
Todd Whitman.

Speaker 8 (37:06):
Yes, yeah, yes, thank you, thank you, thank you. So
let's let's get it right this time. Folks get out
there and vote in droves for Jack Chittarelli. I can
get the course enough.

Speaker 2 (37:16):
Thank you, Steve, thank you. Yeah. No, I'm my full
fledged endorsement for Jack CHITTERRELLI I like Jack. I know Jack.
I hope he wins. He was on our show what month,
a month and a half ago. We'll have him on
again and hopefully he wins on Tuesday. Uh, let's see.
We go to Scott in the Bronx say Scott.

Speaker 3 (37:35):
Uh, can you hear me?

Speaker 2 (37:38):
Why do people say can you hear me? When I
say you're on the air. Go ahead, Scott, we can
hear you.

Speaker 3 (37:41):
Go ahead, okay, terrific. Uh so uh I asked before
if you are familiar with doctor Paul Craig Roberts.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
Yeah, but you bored me last time too with this.

Speaker 8 (37:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (37:53):
Yeah, it's not the uh, it's not the same. It's
not the same topic.

Speaker 2 (37:58):
All right, make it clicks, go goo ahead.

Speaker 3 (38:01):
All right? He made he made he makes a very
excellent uh point that you know, it's not so much
that you know, social welfare spending is out of control
as much as corporate welfare spending is out of control.
With regard to the Pentagon, well they.

Speaker 2 (38:17):
Both thought, they both are Scott. Look the corporate welfare,
all the subsidies that they that these corporations get, and
the the entitlements are out of control. And the game
that they play with the entitlements is they keep Like
with medicaid, they keep expanding eligibility, and they keep expanding

(38:37):
expanding things that are covered by medicaid, and so it
just more and more people are on it, and more
and more people are taking advantage of it, and when
they do, it's impossible, nearly impossible to get them off. Uh,
Michael and Cliffside Park, New Jersey.

Speaker 6 (38:54):
Hey, Michael, Yeah, here's the thing. History is going to
keep repeating itself over and over and over again because
people don't learn from history, so they repeat it. This
is what's going to happen. Cuomo is so far ahead
he'll get the nomination.

Speaker 2 (39:08):
Well, but hold on one thing, hold on, hold on,
hold on. He was very far ahead. He is no
longer very far ahead. He is now he's still he's
he's still ahead. But let me tell you something in politics,
I would almost rather be in a position that Mamdami
is in, where you have a lot of momentum and
coming out towards the end, than Cuomo, who is trying

(39:28):
to hold on because Cuomo has a base that has
a cap on it. Mam Domi, God knows how many
people he could bring in so I it's I look,
I think, and they ran like ten They got to
go through ten rounds, ten rounds in these modeling for
this stupid rank choice voting until Cuomo wins. All it

(39:51):
takes is a couple more like Mam Dommi cutting deals
with some of these other leftists who can't win to
change quick book.

Speaker 6 (40:00):
Go ahead, Michael, Yeah, Cuomo will win. He will run
against will go ahead. Curtis will get Staten Island, Cuomo
will get the other four boroughs. History will repeat itself
over and over and over. Why will Curtis get Staten Island?
I think we know why. Why will Cuomo get the
other four boroughs? I think we know why. Nothing is

(40:21):
going to change. To put it quite plainly, New York
City is dead and buried. My advice to any normal
person who works for a living and doesn't want to
get marked or killed. Get the hell out of the city.
That's what I did. I moved to a small town
in New Jersey where there is no crime.

Speaker 2 (40:38):
Right.

Speaker 6 (40:39):
We have a lot of small towns here with a
mayor who lives in the town. You see the mayor,
so he's not going to screw up the town. And
in my town, the police department really are policemen. Right.
If they start with the craziness here, the cops will
take out their nightsticks and beat the crap out of them.

(40:59):
It will seep in New York pulling out their nightsticks.

Speaker 2 (41:02):
Well, he he got some New York making arrests anymore
because they're not allowed to. But Michael, I appreciate it
and get the point. Let me take one more call,
and I got a bunch of other things. Peter in Manhattan, Hi.

Speaker 8 (41:13):
Peter, Hey Ron Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello, Peter.

Speaker 7 (41:20):
Go ahead, Yeah, Okay. My question to you, sir, is,
if you had to sell the audience or Curtis leever,
what would you what would be your highlights of your
presentation on Curtis, he's dealing with the mayor as being
a mayor. I mean, the guy is a guardian angel.
That's a visual and he yeah, he didn't solve for

(41:41):
publicly any public crimes to speak of. He's a caricature.
I mean, he was a caricature. He might have matured
right now.

Speaker 2 (41:48):
Actually, I mean, I will tell you this, Curtis Leewa,
And you know, Curtis and I have had a love
hate relationship. He screwed me royally. Uh and Curtis knows
this back in twenty seventeen when I was running for
reelection in Westchester. And Curtis and I have known each
other since two thousand and one. Okay, so we're going
back almost twenty five years. But still, I mean I

(42:11):
would rather have Curtis be the mayor. I mean, is
he any more of a joke than what we've had
and who we might have? I just think, you know, Adams,
I could live with Adams again, even though I don't
agree with him on everything. Cuomo Cuomo doesn't want to
be mayor period. He wants to use this as his redemption.

(42:35):
He's not gonna get anything done either. And Curtis, I think,
you know, a he'll at least put cops on the
street and let them do their job, and he does.
Cutters does give him this. He understands the city inside out,
and he's been in the trenches and it would be
a different perspective. At least he can't do any worse
if you want to go that way. He can't do

(42:55):
any worse, and he's worth a shot, right. Don't let
me forget about my my squirrel, my bunny. Bruce Premiere

So do not go away. Oh Benjamin Steakhouse, So Father's
Day is not tomorrow, it's the following Sunday alert alert
to kids. You know, it's not the wife who should

(44:50):
be telling the kids, like, hey, it's Father's Day. It's
just like when Mother's Day comes around. I say to
my kids, your mom is not my mom, So what
are you doing for you your mom? Just like now,
what are you doing for your dad? How about Benjamin Steakhouse.
If you can't figure it out, if you can't think
about what to do, we don't want the crappy patties.

(45:12):
We don't we don't want you to go pick out
a col own that we're not gonna wear, or socks
that we don't need. Go to Benjamin Steakhouse, get a

Father's Day In New York City or Westchester, there are
Father's Day menu. June fifteenth is from noon till ten
at night. It's a three course meal. You can get

(45:35):
the dry age ribbi Scottish salmon, or they're prime filet mignon.
Pretty good. They're one inch thick bacon, Canadian bacon, jumbo
crab cake. My wife loves that delicious shrimp cocktail. Those
are like the huge, they're like three feet tall. They

(45:55):
come out on a glass. You get a choice of side. Oh.
So I called Benjamin's because each week I'm saying, what
is this creamless cream spinach? So I actually emailed them
and I said, hey, you know, I'm doing these commercials
for you, what is creamless cream spinach? And you know

(46:15):
what they replied back, it's a secret. We can't tell
you what it is interesting, but it is good. But
it's like the it's like the secret Coca Cola. Formula.
They're not telling you what's in the creamless cream spinach. Well,
you know what, I might call you RFK Junior. I
might have him investigate what's in this creamless cream spinach?
But either way, it's fantastic anyway, go to Benjamin Steakhouse.

(46:37):
Visit Benjamin Steakhouse dot com to view their Father's Day menu,
the ISLA cartmenu, or to learn more about booking a
private space or for an upcoming celebration. Benjamin Steakhouse A
cut above the rest. I got like sixteen things to
do when I got three minutes to do it in.
But I do want to tell you about I'm kind

(46:58):
of practicing. I'm gonna be the great greatest old man.
I'm practicing. I could just see when I'm eighty five.
God hope, you know, God willing I live to that age.
But I'm actually when you get to eighty five, you're like,
it's kind of young. I'm hoping to get to ninety five.
But I could just see myself being on a park
bench and feeding the birds because I'm kind of practicing

(47:21):
for that right now. And you know, you kind of
go past these guys and that's kind of sad. But
it's actually not. So I'm looking out my kitchen window
the other day and in the yard is this cutest,
the cutest little bunny, a little baby bunny in my yard.
And I'm like, ah, adorable. And you don't see the
mother or the father, and you know it's just out
there by itself. So I'm like, okay. So I took

(47:44):
carrots from the refrigerator and I chew them, and I
I go outside. I'm chewing these carrots because you can't
give them a big carrot. He's got a small mouth.
And I spit them out into my hand and I
put them there in the yard for the bunny. And
then I see the bunny, like, all right, this is

(48:05):
a big guy. Is he scary? Is he dangerous to me?
The bunny takes a chance, and the bunny walks up
to the carrot and starts eating the carrots. And I'm
looking at him like We're gonna be friends a long
time now. I know I'm this is sounding like I'm crazy,
but you know what, these poor little things. And then
I have a squirrel, Oh my god, I have a

(48:29):
squirrel that comes to the yard. Well, there's a lot
of these squirrels there's two black squirrel I think it
might be one black squirrel and two gray squirrels that
come to the yard. And I have this jar of
peanuts and I go outside and I shake the jar
and I'm teaching them like Pavlov's dog. When you hear
the jar, I'm gonna give you peanuts. Well, now they understand,

(48:52):
And so I'm doing this jar and they're coming pretty
darn close to me and I'm throwing the peanuts down.
It's gonna be I'm telling you, Bruce checking with me.
In a couple weeks. These squirrels are gonna be eating
out of my hand and I'm gonna be bit. Yeah,
I'm gonna be bit. I'm gonna end up in the er.
I know it. Uh, all right, jeez, I can't get
to all the other stuff. I'm talking about bunnies and squirrels.

(49:17):
When's Mental Health Month? All right? Uh. I'll be back
here next Saturday at four o'clock. Of course, you can
listen on the the iHeart app to this show or
