Speaker 1 (00:00):
This hour of programming on seven ten Double uor. He's
sponsored by Toyota City and Mamaranac and Nissan City of
port Chester, proud members of the Integrity Automotive Group. Now
former Westchester County executive Rob Astorina on seven ten Double R.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
All right, welcome Rob Astorino here at five minutes past
four o'clock on this gorgeous Saturday. It is so good
to have you with me, and we're along together until five.
So jot this thing down. It's the phone number nine
one four. Oh no, that was my home phone number.
I don't want to give you that. Uh one eight
(00:44):
hundred three two one zero seven ten one a great
radio one one hundred three two one zero seven ten.
And of course, uh Noah's going to pick up the
phone and say what do you want to talk about,
and then Bruce over there making sure he plays all
my flubs. So you're going to be part of this show.
That's what happens. That's that's why we do this thing.
(01:06):
You know, there are days when I walk across town
from Newsmax on the east side to come over here
to the West side to do this show, and literally
I'm thinking, like what the hell am I going to
talk about? I don't I don't know what to talk about.
There's nothing that pops out some days, really, I mean,
some days are kind of it's slow, or nothing's really happening,
(01:26):
or it's been a kind of a slow week. It's
really never slow with Trump. But you know what I'm saying.
And because it's a it's a Saturday afternoon, it's different
than you know, if something big happened on Tuesdays, could
it's probably old news. But I mean just it's like
it is a cascade of news every day with Donald
(01:47):
Trump there and and for us, for conservatives, it's great.
So I'm walking across town. I'm like, you know what,
I don't know which one do I want to do first?
Do I want to talk about what Trump did yesterday
in the White House with oz of Jehan and Armenia.
And you're probably well, who cares?
Speaker 3 (02:03):
Well?
Speaker 2 (02:03):
It's a pattern now for Trump and it should lead
into the Nobel Peace Prize. Seriously, if Barack Obama got
the Nobel Peace Prize in two thousand and nine for
getting elected, that's it for getting elected. He should be
ashamed of himself. He should be returning that by the way,
(02:24):
but if he got a Nobel Peace Prize for literally
doing nothing, then how the hell does Donald Trump not
get one for what he's doing all across the world.
Think about that for one quick second. You go back
to the seventies. Jimmy Carter worked tirelessly for four years
to try to bring Israel and Egypt together, and he
(02:44):
did the Camp David Accords. He deserved that. You know, whatever, Look,
whatever you think about Carter, his record was abysmal, but
he deserved that. I think you go back, there are
four presidents that have gotten it, Woodrow Wilson, Theodore Rolt, Carter,
and Obama. Three of them deserved it, or at least
(03:05):
you could make the case that they deserved it. And
and I don't normally do a monologue during my show
if you watch my show in Newsmax, but today I did.
I just felt like, this is amazing what Trump did yesterday.
Two countries and the South CAUCUSUS that nobody cares about. Well,
do you really care about Iserbaijan or Armenia? A lot
of people do. I mean, it's like if you're Armenian
or Isaabaijani. Yeah, But other than that, if you're around here.
(03:28):
I mean, you probably didn't even know they existed, but
they Trump just ended like a fifty year war between them, conflict,
ethnic cleansing, and the same thing he did with Thailand
and Cambodia. Did you even know they were fighting? I mean,
come on, Pakistan and India with nuclear bombs. He took
(03:49):
the he took the flame down when they were getting
you were going at it. I mean, that's that's a
scary part. A lot of people say, if there's gonna
be a nuclear war, it's going to be Pakistan and
India one day. But Trump simmered them down, and thankfully,
you know, things are much better between them. And then,
of course you've got things going on in Israel right now.
(04:10):
He's gonna fly to Alaska this week to meet with
Putin on Ukraine. I mean, there's so many things, and
then the Abraham accurts, it's unbelievable. This guy, in my estimation,
truly deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for what he has
already accomplished. And he's got three more years to go,
three and a half. Lord knows what else. But he said, yeah,
you elect me, I'm gonna be the peacemaker I don't
(04:30):
want wars. We're we've been senselessly fighting stupid wars forever.
And this guy's doing what he said. I mean, it's unbelievable.
He truly unbelievable. He's amazing, and he's fixing this whole
mess that Biden created here and it's like he's doing
with ease.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
You know.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
He gets in there, all right, what's the same Monday?
Speaker 4 (04:52):
Alright?
Speaker 2 (04:52):
Shut the border and the border closes. What's today? Tuesday?
Speaker 4 (04:55):
All right?
Speaker 2 (04:57):
And DEEI and DEI ends, hey, Harvard get here, bam,
and that's it. Harvard goes down on the floor, and
another Universities Columbia, you pen, you go through, and now
they're like all calling him up. It's just it's it's phenomenal.
I've never seen anything like it. Each president has done
good things, let's be honest, you know, in both parties,
(05:19):
but it's like one highlight. I don't know how you
prioritize what Trump does. It's phenomenal. It's crazy anyway, So
I that was one thing I had to get off
my chest because I do think that. And there are
calls I believe Cambodia and Thailand have put his name
in for consideration for the Nobel Prize, which they I
(05:40):
think they announce in October and then December tenth in Oslo,
Norway is when they actually, you know, give the ceremony
in the medal. If nothing else, how much fun would
it be when Donald Trump is announced as getting the
Nobel Peace Prize to watch collectively million of heads explode
(06:01):
in this country from liberals and to watch MSNBC and
CNN have to not only announce that but then cover it.
And you know, December tenth when the Nobel Peace Prize
is awarded. End if it's Trump, you know that day
they're gonna come up with a reason to talk about anything.
(06:22):
But it's gonna be Epstein Files again, which they're still
talking about. I'm watching TV right now. CNN is literally
talking about, as is MSNBC today four to eleven right
now on Saturday. In a week, nobody's talked about Epstein.
They're talking about the Epstein Files. These people are sick,
sick Tiss James, Oh ein't this great tish tish uh
(06:50):
Tisha Rooney, So tiss James. It's one thing to go
after Donald Trump. And she ran on going after Donald Trump.
That was a pretext. Find me, get me elected, and
I will find something to hang him on. Anything. I
will twist the law. I will go after obscure statues.
(07:13):
I will make it fit Donald Trump. You get me elected,
and that is what I will do. She literally ran
on running against getting Donald Trump, and she got elected
as Attorney General, a very powerful position because she has
all the resources of New York State to go after
these mainly civil but sometimes criminal. But she's going after
(07:39):
and as you know, she went after Donald Trump. She
twisted and turned made up a law basically for what
it was not intended, goes after him for quote, inflating
his you know, his business values, blah blah blah. And
obviously in the kangaroo courts in New York she found
liberal judges and they got Trump on just total nonsense.
(08:01):
But it wasn't just the fact that she went after him.
It was the fact that this was the most important
thing on her agenda with everything going on in New York.
This was the most important thing in her mind, purely
one political to go after one human being because she
hated him so much and because she would gain personally
(08:22):
politically from doing so. But it wasn't that it wasn't
even that. It was the fact that she decided to
mosey on in to the courtrooms every day and sit
in that front bench and look and stare at Trump.
(08:42):
She was a predator and she had her prey and
that's what she did. Well, when you do something like that,
you you better be cleaner than a whistle. And she ain't.
And so the tables have turned because she gets in. Now,
she goes after Trump, she wins when she shouldn't have this.
(09:05):
You know, everything is rigged here. And still, by the way,
still years later, where is the New York State Court
of Appeals hearing the Trump appeal? It never takes this long.
They are taking their sweet old time because they're political too.
There's this case should be overturned seven to nothing, and
(09:31):
for them to take this long either four of them
are trying to figure out a way to uphold the convictions,
uphold the decisions, and to keep the four hundred and
fifty million dollar fines, which, by the way, are continuing
to gather interest during the appeal instead of doing what
they should do, what they know is right to do,
and to give him relief and to overturn this stuff.
(09:53):
How it hasn't been done already, I'll never know. Well
I know, and you know it's because it's all political, right,
all of this. So now Trump lo and behold last
thing they expected. Trump gets back into office. The Republicans
have the Senate, the House, and of course they control
now the entire executive branch, which includes the Department of Justice,
(10:18):
which includes Housing and Urban Development, which underneath HUD is
the Banking of Housing, So Fannie Mae, Freddie May and
all of these applications that people have to fill out
in order to get federal loans at favorable rates. And
(10:41):
so look, I've been through it. You've been through it
if you're taking out a mortgage. I mean, it's it's
phenomenal how long it takes to do a closing or
to do the paperwork and to get pre approved, and
you know, you've got to swear on this, swear on that,
and there's all these anti discrimination stuff, and you know,
your income you got to prove, and you've got to
(11:02):
show this, and then you've got to you know, you
got to sign an oath then that you're we'll do it.
And in the back of our heads, if you do
it wrong, you know, you could pay the price one day.
Because if you fill out these forms knowingly checking a
box to get a better mortgage rate, saying, let's say, oh,
I don't know that I'm going to live in this
(11:26):
house as my principal address my principal residents as opposed
to the one I actually live in in another state,
or vice versa. Something doesn't match up. Because on your
primary home, you can get a better mortgage, a better
mortgage rate, more favorable terms than on a secondary home
(11:47):
or a home that you're going to rent or an apartment.
In fact, they designate if you have five or more
dwelling units, then your rate goes down because there's more
issues involved for or under you get a better rate.
She apparently, if this is true, she lied. She outright
(12:08):
lied on her forms. She knew she had X amount
of resonance, and yet she checked the wrong box, the
one that gave her a better rate.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
Who is she?
Speaker 2 (12:19):
Who is she partnering with on this mortgage? Her father
who she was married to. She didn't say it was
her father, but she said it was this person and
she was married to him. Turns out it's the father.
Who are you ever gonna make that mistake? You ever
think on my worst day that I'm gonna check a
box on a piece of paper saying that I'm married
(12:40):
to my mother. No, I'm not gonna, ever, ever, ever
make that mistake, and nor will you. So there's only
one explanation for it, and that's fraud. So all these things,
as well as our favorite idiot Adam Schiff in California,
who did apparently the same thing, now they're coming back
(13:01):
to haunt her. And of course the left and the
media screaming law fare, How ironic, right, how ironic he's
using the government to come after his enemies. Blah blah blah.
Oh right, okay, right, this isn't revenge. Revenge is emotional
going after somebody. This is retribution. Retribution means you pay
(13:23):
the price for a crime you committed. And if nobody's
above the law, then okay, show the documents. You gonna
have to prove it. And see, here's the thing. Whether
they convict her or not, whether she's indicted or not, whatever,
she's gonna have to go through this very time consuming
and costly process. And you think about how they can really,
(13:48):
I mean, if they want to get you, they're gonna
get you on something anything, anything, But just think of
all the things like wire fraud, bank fraud, mail fraud,
false statements, as I mean, the list is endless, and
then they can throw more and more charges on you,
just like they did to him. So she's now gonna
have to defend this stuff. And by the way, on
(14:10):
some of this, the New Yorkers are gonna pay for it. Literally,
we're gonna pay for her legal representation. But I've heard
people say, well, that's off. It just drop and it's
not fair. No, it's not fair. Really, so only one
side is allowed to have law fair, which is terrible.
Should never happen. But if if you don't take a stand,
(14:30):
if you don't say okay, if this is the game
you're gonna play, then we're gonna have to play it too.
You tell us how you like that. Now, after we're
done with this, we could either put our arms down
and stop this crap, or we're gonna be not only
a banana republic, we're gonna be a dangerous country that
whoever's in charge is gonna go after their enemies. That's
not what we want, but that's what they did, and
(14:54):
she put herself out there. It's gonna be interesting to
see where this goes because it depends on I think
it's in Maryland, and I forget where else because you know,
if they brought these charges into midtown Manhattan, good luck,
good luck getting twelve people or however big. The impaneled
(15:16):
jury is grand jury to indict her, you know, a
Democrat with a Democrat. Okay. I kind of wanted to
talk about what they did in New Jersey. So there
is a town in Gloucester County. It's actually the township
(15:37):
of Gloucester, which is all the way south Jersey. It's
near Philadelphia. But they're now going to hold parents responsible
for the sins and potential crimes of their children. But
by the way, this is nothing new. This happened. This
has happened going back to the early nineteen hundreds. But
(15:58):
I think I do want to talk about that, I
think when we come back. But first, I know some
people are riled up about to James and some other things,
so I'll take your calls on that, but I do
want to get Bruce. It is up to you to
remind me to talk about this when we come back
at some point, but before we do. And one eight
hundred and three two one zero seven ten is the
phone call number. Is the number if you want to
(16:20):
call one in one hundred and three two one zero
seven ten. First, I gotta tell you about the great
people at a G. Williams painting, A G.
Speaker 5 (16:28):
Williams painting, AG Williams painting, the B Williams just to
do the job right.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Yeah, we're all dancing to that theme music. It's great
that jingle. Age Williams Painting. They do it right. They
have since nineteen oh six. Nineteen oh six, actually, I
think that was the That was the first year there
was a law on the books. It was in Colorado.
See I did my homework Punish the parents. That was
the first year a when they started Age william in Colorado,
(17:00):
they did a punished to parents book law on the book. Interesting. Anyway,
back here at home, you need something painted, big or small,
your house, your whole house, inside, outside, the garage, whatever,
call AG Williams Painting. At least get an estimate. That's
the free thing. Have them come over and tell you
(17:21):
what you need to do. But it makes it look
so nice when you spruce it up, you know, slap
on a nice new color or just go over the
old smudge marks, whatever, AG Williams Painting. They are licensed
and ensured, they're certified. There there are people you trust
to do the job right, So call or go to
(17:42):

seven ten rob Astorino show, rolling right along, We're back
with your calls and some more of my stuff. I
got a whole list today that I hope to get
to back in just a minute.
Speaker 5 (18:12):
Age Williams Painting Cage Williams Painting the people you would
just to do the job right.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
Wow, Larry Mente doing specific promos for my show. That's
pretty cool. Actually, I talked to Larry the other day.
I thought he was going to be in the city
this weekend, and if he was, he was going to
stop by. But he will be back on a Saturday
afternoon sometime in September, he said. So, I said, well,
you got to come into the studio because I've been
(18:42):
going on the Morning show, his show every Friday at
seven o eight in the morning. It's got to be
ten fifteen years I've been going on the morning show,
and so I I'm like Larry, come on mine, So
we'll do that together. It's gonna be fun. Hey, if
you're in the mood for a new car, and who
(19:03):
isn't I saw used cars. The price of a used car,
you know, since COVID it went nuts, right, the average
cost of a of a used car is up nine
thousand dollars in the last I think four years, insane.
So people are holding onto their cars longer. But if
(19:25):
you if you need a new car, or even a
pre owned car, then go to Toyota City in mamaritik Will.
They have not only good deals, but they're gonna have
a good selection. They've got a lot full of them.
Whether it's the uh, the brand new smelling car.
Speaker 4 (19:38):
I love that.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
They should they really should put that in a can
like a spray an aerosol. How great would that be
spraying a candle, yeah, spra yeah, candle. That's a good point, Bruce, Yeah,
But spraying like your old crappy car that stinks like
from when you threw up in it a long time ago,
or with a dogs or whatever. But if you could
(20:02):
just spray that that new car smell in your in
your rotten old car, that'd be pretty cool. Anyway, Toyota City.
Make sure you say hi to these good folks there.
You show up, They're gonna show you the good cars
or whatever you want to look at. You've got their word,
their best customer care anywhere. They are proud members of
(20:23):
the Integrity Automotive Group. So am I because I got
my car from them as well. So join their family.
Either stop by in Mamaronick right off ninety five, or
go to Toyota CITYENY dot com Toyota CITYNY dot com.
Look up all the cars, see the ones that you
want to test drive, make an appointment. You'll know the price,
(20:45):
and go over there and get your car from Toyota
City in Mamarnick. Great lease great. I can't see that.
It never gets old. It really, it really doesn't get
old of me flubbing constantly. I couldn't say great lease
rate grazy. I just said it there. It was great.
Speaker 4 (21:09):
All right.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
The phones are lighting up. One hundred three two one
zero seven ten. One hundred three two one zero seven ten.
Still a few more lines open if you'd like to call.
All right, We begin in the beautiful village of Tarrytown,
right on the Hudson River in Westchester Maria, how are you?
Speaker 6 (21:26):
I'm fine, Rob, how about you?
Speaker 2 (21:28):
I'm bueno. What's going on?
Speaker 6 (21:31):
I'm watching Lutitia trying to make nice nice find having
this Indian family trying to support them during this title
fraud in New York City, So she's trying to look
good and trying to you know, doesn't it doesn't forgive
her for what she did.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
But allegedly. I mean, look, we don't know if she
necessarily did it with intent to fraud.
Speaker 4 (21:55):
But.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
It don't look good when you put on the you know,
on the form you're married to your father and you
knowingly do things. It looks like on that sheet of
paper that she knew was wrong. But hey, this is
gonna play out. This is gonna play out, and we'll.
Speaker 6 (22:12):
See karmas there.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
Yeah, yeah, yep, Maria, thank you for the call. I
appreciate it. One one hundred and three two one zero
seven ten. Let's go to Josh in Newershell.
Speaker 7 (22:23):
Hey, Josh, Hi, Rob, great show as usual, James got
legal advice and Maxine boards. Maxine told Tish she can't
wear a wig or hair. Peace in prison and people
who use the term karmer, I guess they're now Buddhist
or Hindus. But the problem we have today is gob Kenny,
(22:44):
gob Kenny go.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
It's a damn idiot. And I knew it was him
too once he started, but I kind of let him
go along, all right. Vincent Nutley, New Jersey, Hey, Vince, Vince,
go ahead, Hey Rob, How you doing. I'm good, sir.
How are you doing?
Speaker 8 (23:00):
Just talking about the prices that used cars going up
like crazy? I wonder if it doesn't have something to
do with, you know, used trucks, because I do swimming pools.
They take there are swimming pools. If I could buy
three brand new small trucks that are truly small, I would,
But I have to buy used ones because they don't
(23:21):
make small trucks anymore. If you go and look at
a Colorado or a Ford Ranger, they're usually they used
to be small. Now the top of the bed is
higher than your chest. Yeah, And I just want three
small little trucks, like an old Mitsubishi from the eighties
or or an S ten from the eighties that are
truly small that you can reach into and they're gone.
Speaker 2 (23:44):
You know where they are. They're in India. They're in Bangladesh.
That's where they are.
Speaker 8 (23:48):
But they don't even make them then, they don't even
make them small anymore. And I already know, and I'm
gonna tell you, and you already know, it's because of
plat based standards. They're not allowed to make small trucks
anymore because they have to make a certain threshold of lilage.
Speaker 2 (24:02):
Well you know what they do, and they're stripping that away, thankfully,
the EPA under Lee Zelden. If you go to Europe,
as I've been many times, the cars and trucks there
are so small. You can't find a Ford f one fifty.
I don't know, because they're they're cutting out the market
for imports exports, but that'll change, but honestly they don't.
(24:22):
They're very very small over there. Uh but yeah, Vince,
I wish I knew my pool went completely green like
two weeks ago. I should have called Vince from Nutley,
New Jersey to come help clean it up. All right,
let's go to Sondra in New Jersey. One eight hundred
and three two one zero seven ten. Hey, Sondra, Hi.
Speaker 9 (24:40):
Rob, I'm not in a good mood. I was pulling
out of the garage in the city and I banged
my car.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
Oh no, no.
Speaker 9 (24:47):
And the sad part is I just had the other
side six and it looks so new and I was
so happy, and now I did it again. So what
are you gonna do? I'm very upset, but I'm not
gonna let that bother me. You know, you talked about Trump.
He's an amazing man.
Speaker 2 (25:10):
Did we lose her? I think we do.
Speaker 9 (25:13):
We loseteen when he was running for president. How he
knocked down all his opponents one by one. And now
the late night show people with Tisia, James, Jeff Smith,
all of them, they're all going to the wayside because
he was treated badly and he deserves it. O the
good comes his way, especially the Nobel Prize, don't you agree?
Speaker 8 (25:36):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (25:36):
Totally, one hundred percent. Andandra, I wish you luck dealing
with insurance. That's that sucks beyond you know what. Anyway,
good luck with that. Thanks for the call. As always,
of course, he look Honestly, if you watch my TV
show on Newsmax from one to three on Saturdays, I
don't do a monologue really. I mean a lot of
a lot of our hosts do. I don't always do it.
(25:58):
I feel like it's got to come like when I
really have an urge or want something to say, and
I just I just put it together this week, like
this is insane, how he's been totally screwed out of
this and he should have got up for the the
you know, Abraham Accords, but of course they didn't. And
the fact that Obama has unbelievably has a Nobel Peace
(26:22):
Prize for literally doing nothing, Trump deserves it. There's no
question whether you hate him or love him, just you
have to go by the accomplishment, and you cannot deny
that he has accomplished a lot, specifically on world peace.
That's what I'm talking about here. You could disagree with
him on the Big Beautiful Bill or whatever the hell else,
(26:43):
but on bringing like enemies together and putting down their swords.
Come on, stop it if you disagree with that. One
eight hundred and three two one zero seven to ten.
Rob Astarno, here, let's go to the island Icelip Hey, John.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
Going just wanted to say, can you hear me?
Speaker 2 (27:04):
I can go ahead?
Speaker 4 (27:06):
Oh, sound like it was delayed. I was trying.
Speaker 2 (27:08):
To turn your radio down, that's the thing.
Speaker 4 (27:10):
Okay, gotcha. So I was saying that attorneys have a
higher standard, particularly something like an attorney general, so they
wouldn't make those kind of mistakes by mistake. If you
put that information on your forms, you knew what you
were doing. Yep. And it certainly speaks to the level
of the individual who did that. It just doesn't.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
Oh, there's no question and John, thanks for the call,
call anytime, the fact that Letitia James did what she did.
And let's be honest. I mean again, if you've purchased
a home and you've had to deal with all of
the mortgage documents and I did. I mean, we purchased
(27:49):
a home recently, we sold a home recently, we have
our main home. It just it is, Oh, it's horrible
dealing with the paperwork. But you damn well better know
what you're signing and you have an attorney to help
you through this, and it's right there, I mean, under
penalty of law. You know you're saying that what you're
writing down is truthful. And you cannot tell me that
(28:12):
if I put down that I'm married to what turns
out to be my father. First of all, if you are,
you're a sick human being. But obviously she is not
married to her father, so clearly something was done to
potentially get a better mortgage rate. And think about the
(28:33):
amount of money she has saved. Now, somebody said to me, well,
wait a minute, the statute of limitations has run out
on this stuff. You know, mortgage fraud is like five
years or whatever it is, and they can't even go
after her on this. It's and that proves it's political,
not necessarily. And there's some novel ideas too, like well,
wait a minute, the last time she made a mortgage payment,
(28:55):
which is constant every month, isn't that perpetuating the fraud?
And like I said, I mean wire for I mean,
there's so many ways they can they can come at you.
If they're gonna go after you, and they're gonna go
after her, and she's now gonna have to sit there
and defend, wouldn't it be funny? Seriously? And you you
know he's got such huge cahonies that he would do
this when she is defending herself in court on trial,
(29:20):
that the doors open and in Saunters Donald J. Trump
to sit in the first row to watch the trial.
Oh that would be great. One one hundred and three
to two, one zero seven ten. Let's see, uh Jose
(29:40):
and the BX tell me and new Hyde park, I Minnie, why.
Speaker 10 (29:46):
Letitia James skipped over President Trump's water. If a bank
uh sends money to a run this was to be
booked before the core. She just skipped over that bank.
So their pamp bondy is looking at that.
Speaker 2 (30:07):
Well, yeah, they're looking at that. They're also looking at
the case, which was completely political. It's like all these
de bank debanking stuff. So this, I mean, the left
is very dangerous. Just through history, the left is very
(30:27):
very dangerous. The left is socialism. It's become it, certainly
in this country. But if you look at communism, socialism,
all that stuff, the left uses every piece of equipment
and power with the government to destroy anyone in its
way that does not affiliate with it. So you know,
(30:49):
they take away religion, they take away your your rights
to free speech, rights to own guns, the Second Amendment.
So Tis James went after the NRA again again based
on some silly paperwork thing under the charities law. There
would never be a case against them by anyone who
(31:09):
was honest and down the middle. She went after them
because this is a great thing for her to do
as a Democrat in New York State. Let me go
after them again because I hate the NRA, I hate
the Second Amendment. I'm going to go after them. That's
what she did. And so now they are looking at
this as the Justice Department as, okay, you give us
(31:31):
all the paperwork for this, why you went after them
because we believe there are federal issues here? Wouldn't that
be interesting too? In discovery? What comes up the text
and the emails between her and others about trying to
get the NRA. How are we going to get them? Look,
I don't know what they I don't know what exists.
But unless stuff was destroyed or deleted, which is a crime,
(31:51):
they got to turn everything over. So let's see. Let's
go to Paul in Nasau County.
Speaker 7 (31:58):
Hello Paul, Oh, hi Rob a big listener to the
show first time.
Speaker 3 (32:03):
Cola, thank you?
Speaker 7 (32:05):
Uh parents being responsible for what criminal act did children
to commit? I mean, is it going to be widespread? A?
We're going to do this in high crime neighborhoods because
then you'll have thousands of parents going to jail. I
don't see it happening in older neighborhoods.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
Go yeah, no Buchan and no Buchan and that again.
Come on Man. By the way, I didn't get into
the New Jersey thing. That's what he was alluding to
before we dumped him. I do want to get to that.
I'll get to that later. But Bob in Connecticut, you're
on seven to ten wor how are you?
Speaker 3 (32:37):
Bob?
Speaker 4 (32:38):
All right?
Speaker 11 (32:39):
Rob? I got a question for you on the Leticia
James thing. When you go for a mortgage, usually you
have to, you know, give financial documents, not just the form, you.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
Know, like a W two your income taxes?
Speaker 11 (32:55):
Yeah, what was the address and that she hadn't those documents?
Speaker 2 (33:03):
Uh yeah, good point.
Speaker 3 (33:04):
Definitely a good point at it, and said, what's.
Speaker 11 (33:07):
Going on here.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
There's gonna be a lot of things on those documents
that are now going to be in the public light,
and the DOJ is going to get a good look
at everything. Hey, unless she is squeaky clean, one hundred
percent pure and correct in everything she did, then is
she not fair game? Based upon what she did as pretextual,
what she did against Donald Trump, and people go, oh,
(33:33):
stop it, Donald Trump committee crimes. He's a dead, dead,
dead dead that she just she did her job. She
did her job. If you're a leftist, she did her job.
You're right, she went after somebody you hated. That's not
our system. That's not our system. We don't pick out
a person and then go find a crime on them, because,
like I said, they could come after me, they can
(33:54):
come after you, They can go after anyone they want
if they want to abuse the system and use the
full extent of the lawn. How many crime how many
laws are on the books in this country, hundreds of millions?
Literally every day there you are committing crimes that you
don't even know about because there's statutes everywhere about everything.
(34:19):
Let's go to Steve in Central New Jersey. Hey, Steve,
how are you?
Speaker 3 (34:25):
Hey? Rob? Rob? Just two points to prove this is
not a tip for tat with Ms James.
Speaker 4 (34:32):
All right.
Speaker 3 (34:33):
What Trump was charged was a civil case, which, by
the way, you're right, all right, he didn't he didn't
break the lot. That should be reversed on appeal. She's
being charged with something more serious. These are criminal cases
for loan fraud, right which if proven, if proven, she's
in trouble. This is these are serious charges here, all right?
(34:54):
And by you you lie, yes, you put your primary
residence down the preferential mortgage rate, as someone who's familiar
with mortgage banking law. Yeah, if proven, if proven guilty,
all right. If you say it's a fourth family when
it should be a five family, you get lower interest rate. Guilty.
So that's a big difference there where President what President
(35:17):
Trump did. Those bankers even came to his defense and said,
he repaid these loans, he gave us appraiser. We had
our appraiser to do it. Big different, big difference between
the two. This is not a tip for tap. What
she did is really serious.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
I agree, you're right, and Steve, thanks for the call.
One one hundred and three to two, one zero seven ten.
In the in the Trump case, that was business transactions
involving banks who did their own appraisals, involving the other
party on the real estate transaction, who came to an
agreement on the values and accepted them, and they all
(35:54):
signed the documents, knowing, knowingly and knowing that they were
getting into a business based upon these facts and figures.
They all had the books, and they all agreed, and
they all made money, and all the money was paid back.
Nobody complained, nobody complained, nobody got screwed. But she went
(36:15):
after Donald Trump specifically targeting him a to prevent him
from running again. That's what this was all about. It
was all coordinated, obviously with Colorado and the other states
that got involved. It was all coordinated. And now you
got Shiff, and you have and if I'm other people
(36:38):
that were out there trying to poke him in the
eye and kill him and prevent him from running, I'd
be a little worried because it Shiff, it's Letitia. Who
else was out there? Who else did things that they
shouldn't have done? Interesting? And three two on zero seven ten.
(37:01):
All right, I gotta tell you about Premiere Comfort heating
and air conditioning. These are my guys. It's hot actually
at nighttime. It's been really nice this week. I love
it when it's August and you can open the windows
and you get that nice breeze, or it's in the
upper sixties. That's great sleeping weather. You know, when it's
(37:23):
like eighty five at nighttime and you got to crank
up the air conditioner, well, crank it up, and if
you have it, make sure you get it serviced. Or
if you want an air conditioning system in your home,
but you're like, eh, can I do it? Well? I
got people for you to call. In fact, go online,
call Premierecomfort dot com. Call Premierecomfort dot com because they'll
(37:45):
do residential and commercial air conditioning and heating. They'll install,
they'll repair, they'll maintain. And I can't believe next month
is going to be September, oh my god, which means
the frost is not far away, which means the snow
and cold weather is around the corner. Two which means
(38:06):
your heat is gonna be going on. So it's that
time of the year. Get them ready now because you
don't want them to break down when it is freezing.
So let them help you pick out some equipment, some
options and financing and make sure you get a free estimate.
Give them a call or call Premiere Comfort dot com.
(38:27):
Call Premiere Comfort dot com. Uh oh, I got so
many things I gotta get off my chest in the
next Uh what I got twelve minutes something like that.
One hundred three two one zero seven ten. Rob Astorno
telling you if you haven't done it yet, to make
sure you follow me on social media Facebook ad X
(38:50):
at Instagram. Let's see uh getter it's at rob Astorino
at rob Astorino on Facebook, Instagram, x truth Social get

by calling in. Go to seven tenwor dot com, click
on the podcast tab for the Robstorino Show, or make
sure you have the iHeart app on your phone so
you can listen to us live anywhere you're on seven
(39:35):
ten WR or FM one oh four point three HD two.
All right, I got so many more things to do
and say, don't go away. Rob Astorino Show continues after this.
And this is weird because I'm thinking, Okay, the golden Doodle. Nope,
everyone's gonna want to talk about a golden duty good
the goldendoodle in churching. Nobody want they want to talk
about mam dommy golden what whatever. I'm fine, you call
(39:58):
whatever you want one hundred three two one zero seven ten.
Speaker 9 (40:02):
You know what. I was not gonna listen today mine anyway.
Speaker 2 (40:09):
It's true, Seriously, sometimes I have no idea what the
hell you guys want to talk about. I'm like, really
hot on something like that stupid golden doodle.
Speaker 4 (40:18):
Yeah we go.
Speaker 2 (40:18):
We're gonna hear that again next week. The stupid golden
doodle that was in church, And I figured you'd all
be riled up about that, and like two people wanted
to talk about that, they quickly wanted to talk about
Mam Dommy. But whatever, Hey, if your time is valuable,
(40:40):
and it should be, then make sure if you got
to go to the airport or if you want to go,
like I don't know, a ride on the town throughout Manhattan,
and if you're going through, make sure if you're in
Aleros point to point, you know, like s u V
or Limo and you're going through Times Square, you keep
the windows rolled up so you don't get shot. I
(41:00):
can't believe what happened the other day this morning, right
there was someone shot. But Liros is there. They're really
really unbelievable, honestly. Uh again, I'm not even gonna tell
you when I came home from the airport from DC
a week and a half ago. You know, Newsmax gives
these things called uber Flex, So when you're ready, you
(41:24):
just hit it and it goes automatically to Uber and
they send a car or whatever, and I just keep
getting in these horrorable, horrible ubers. I cannot understand the drivers.
And this one smelled like curry so bad I literally
(41:47):
had to open the back window. I was getting sick.
I was physically getting ill, and I know that will
not happen in a Liros point to point. In fact,
when they show up, they're not like, are you Rope, Yes,
I'm Rob Kevin.
Speaker 4 (41:58):
Let's go.
Speaker 2 (41:59):
They're good. They're really really good. Safety number one priority.
All their chauffeurs are screened, the background checks, liability insurance.
It's just really good. So if you're going to the
airport or need a ride back from it, or going like,
you know, a wedding, whatever, you might need a sedan,
make sure you call Liros. Liros. Yeah, let's see the
(42:21):
website LIROSTG dot com, Leros l E r O s
TG dot com, or call them eight hundred eighty two Liros,
eight hundred eighty two Liros. They're so good. Oh all right,
So just a bunch of things that I've seen. Speaking
of the airport, So when I was in DC a
week ago, my flight coming back was like I think
(42:46):
it was like eight forty five in the morning from
Reagan National back to La Guardia, and the flight was packed.
It was overbooked. So you get there to the gate
and they make that announcement like.
Speaker 12 (42:59):
Excuse me, lais gentlemen before we board. So we are
overbooked and we're just looking for some volunteers, and I
have an offer of five hundred dollars in credit for Delta.
If you'd like to give up your seat, please come
up to the front desk. So I'm thinking, well, five
(43:19):
hundred's not bad, but I did see one guy. He
got up and he went over and he gave up
his seat. The next flight was not till five in
the afternoon, so he had to hang out, you know,
either all day at the airport or do something in
DC whatever.
Speaker 2 (43:34):
So he comes back, he's happy, he got five hundred dollars. Right,
fifteen minutes goes by and.
Speaker 12 (43:41):
Hello passengers. So we still need three seats to fill,
and we'd hope that some volunteers. We're going to give
away seven hundred and fifty dollars in credit and a
meal voucher. And for those of you, since our flights
are now full, first flight is tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (43:59):
We're we gonna also give you a hotel voucher, that's
pretty good. Seven fifty nobody gets up. Five minutes go by.
I'm now authorized to give one thousand dollar credit for anybody.
So I'm like, whoa, this is now a thousand dollar
credit on Delta plus plus meals and a hotel, which
(44:22):
I really didn't need, but you know, not bad thinking,
and I didn't and you know what, nobody budged five
minutes later. Okay, so I've now been authorized to give
two thousand dollars in a voucher credit as well as
the hotel and food. Well, now like everybody got up,
(44:46):
and I'm like so annoyed to myself that I didn't
because I I was flying first class. Yeah, it was
an auction, and for whatever reason, I was bumped up
to first class. So I had a for now first
class buying first class from DC to New York for
forty five minute flight. It's ridiculous. So I didn't pay
for this. I was actually booked in coach, but whatever reason,
because I'm like platinum with Delta, they bumped me up
(45:09):
automatically to perst class. So I could have gone up
there and said, hey, look I have a first class
ticket I'm willing to give it up, but two thousand
and how about three they would have done it. And
I'm so pissed at myself for not taking this. You met,
just think two thousand in credit with that, that's a
lot of flights you can use on Delta for the
next year. But I didn't do it. But the point is,
(45:32):
if you know they're like totally overbooked, you got them
where they you know, you got them good, and you
can hold off because their first offer ain't going to
be their last. And as they get more and more desperate,
because they got to take off. When they get more
and more desperate, those offers get better and better.
Speaker 3 (45:51):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (45:52):
I saw a thing in the paper. There was a
fisherman in Connecticut, actually two guys up in Connecticut, I
forget Stonington. I think they caught a seven hundred pound
thresher shark.
Speaker 4 (46:07):
Big.
Speaker 2 (46:07):
I was, that's a big shark, by the way, I
forget how over ten feet and seven hundred pounds. And
they didn't know what to do with it. So they
I mean, what do you do with a shark? If
you catch it? It took them hours and hours to pull
it in. They just they kept it and they weren't
gonna eat it, so basically they they killed the shark
(46:30):
for no reason. I mean, okay, don't you just like
throw it back in. I watched the Shark Whispered that.
I think I told you last week on Netflix. She's nuts.
She's gonna get her face eaten off by a shark someday.
But it's amazing. I mean, she literally goes with freestyle,
no cage. She's out there like swimming with sharks and
(46:53):
petting sharks. It's pretty amazing if you haven't seen it.
But it's like, okay, I mean, I love animals, I
truly do. I don't know how. I don't know how
anyone can use an animal, and even a shark I
put in that category. If you're just gonna senselessly kill
a shark or anything, not even eat it, I don't know.
(47:15):
To me, I don't know what the purpose is. Billy Joel,
I'm watching this documentary. What'd you say, Bruce?
Speaker 3 (47:21):
You love bunny and squirrels?
Speaker 2 (47:23):
Bruce, You're gonna make me cry My bunny and squirrel
I don't know where they are. The bunny is gone,
Bunny one, it's not I fed this bunny. This newborn
bunny in my yard. I literally chewed up carrots for
this little thing and gave it to him, and he's
nowhere to be found. The squirrels, I don't know which
ones are mine because they're they're all over the neighborhood.
(47:45):
I know, and I know. I'm watching this Billy Joel
documentary on Max. It's really good. If you like Billy Joel,
and I do. It's really done well. And he explains
why he wrote what he wrote about in the Soul.
It's pretty cool. It's all about it's all about his life.
But when you listen to the words, to the lyrics,
(48:06):
and when he explains why it all comes together, it's
very it's very interesting. And we just finished on CNN.
I know, I know. I was watching CNN Bless me, father,
for I have sinned. But once in a while CNN
does some good stuff, including their documentaries I think are
pretty good. And it was about Live Aid. Do you
remember Live Aid from nineteen eighty five? I remember it
(48:27):
like you know I and I remember Hands Across America.
I was on the West Side Highway with my friend
Tim Murphy and his family holding hands for Hands across America.
But Live Aid was so cool. But they interviewed Bob
Geldorff and how Live Aid came to be and then
twenty years later, how they did it again, and how
they put pressure on Mick Jagger and others the who
(48:50):
to participate in this. It was really it was. It
was very very well done, all right. So I started
to talk about the and I didn't get to it,
of course, So now to do it in a coming week,
because I really want to get your thoughts on this.
We'll do it another time about this new law down
in Gloucester County or the Township of Gloucester in South Jersey,
(49:11):
about holding parents responsible for their idiot kids when they
do something stupid. So I'll do that another time. Anyway,
I'm out of time. Here's one hour, Bruce. We can't
just do an hour. We have to do two or
three account executives sell this show. There's the heartbeat, the
iHeart art heart. I see I just did. I did
(49:32):
that one on purpose, so you can do that one,
all right. I gotta get out of here, folks. I
will talk to you next week. I'm going to talk
very slow. Have a great weekend, every body.
Speaker 1 (49:44):
This hour of programming on seven to ten WR. He's
sponsored by Toyota City and Mamaranac and Nissan City of
port Chester. Proud members of the Integrity Automotive Group,
