Speaker 1 (00:00):
This trending story brought you by Trajan Wealth. Visit them
at trajanwealth dot com. Bad Bunny is performing at Super
Bowl halftime show and a lot of conservatives, including Fox
News hosts, weren't happy when the announcement was made last week.
So Bad Bunny hosted Saturday Night Live over the weekend,
and he put together this montage of Fox News hosts.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
I'm pretty happy, and I think everyone is happy about it,
even Fox News Bad Bunny.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
This is my favorite musician and he should be the president. Yes.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
He put together all little clips of them saying that
they're happy about the news. He also had a message
for football fans who don't speak Spanish.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
And if you didn't understand what I just said, you
have four.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Months to learn. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
So I don't really know Bad Bunny's music. I mean,
he's a huge star, but it's because it's all in
Spanish and I don't know Spanish or listen to Spanish music.
And then I was asking my son if he knows
who Bad Bunny is, because he, you know, pays attention
to music and stuff and he's He says he has
no idea who he is and he only found out
who he was when he heard about the Super Bowl
performance last week.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
I mean, Bad Bunny, he's a huge star. Oh absolutely
he is.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Yeah, like second to Taylor Swift, I think as far
as sales and number ones and all that.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Yeah, so that's you know why the NFL went in
this direction. Plus you know Hispanic audience, that'll be a
big draw for the Super Bowl.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
I don't really care who performs it at halftime.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
The NFL had to have known they're going to get
some blowback because of his past comments about ice and
stuff like that. But one thing I was thinking about
with this selection of Bad Bunny to perform the halftime show,
the last time they had a country act perform two
thousand and three Shania Twain, Oh.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
My goodness, which I thought was surprised. There's a lot
of huge country actions countries. Really, it's at like its
biggest right now. You know, I'm a little surprised they haven't.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Right Well, I think it's who they want to appeal to,
because they already have the country fans watching the NFL.
If they want to cater to a new audience and
a worldwide audience, Bad Bunny is it. This trending story

Taylor Swift's new album Life of a Showgirl is getting
rave reviews from her fans, but Ben Shapiro thinks she

(02:23):
needs to grow up. So on the album there's a
song called Actually Romantic, and Taylor is saying, it's wild
all the time you put into this, which is apparently
directed at another pop artist, Charlie XCX, who's married to
one of the guys from nineteen seventy five, whose bandmate
Taylor dated briefly.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
Are you following all of this? No idea where you're talking.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
About So basically it's like a dis track in response
to a distrack that somebody else.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
Wrote about her. Okay, So this is.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Ben Shapiro's reaction when he heard the song.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Taylor Swift is angry at Charlie XCX because she released
a song on her Bratt album called Sympathy Is a Knife,
and that was apparently about Taylor Swift, who had briefly
dated Maddy Heally, who's the bandmate of Charlie's now husband,
George Daniel. And so Charlie XIX wrote a song supposedly
about Taylor Swift called sympathy is a knife, And now
Swift apparently heard about the speculation, and she has a

(03:16):
song called Actually Romantic, in which she basically accuses Charlie
xcax of being obsessed with her, so obsessed they're all seventeen?
Are you stop being seventeen for like half a second, please?

Speaker 4 (03:26):
Lady?

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Like you're getting married? Can you get over yourself? I
understand thirty five is now considered the new fifteen or
something like at a certain point.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
Here, grow up? Why is he talking about that?

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Right?

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Yeah, he's getting in on it.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
He went on a deep dive about the drama he did.
I didn't know any of this about the drama.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
I heard the song and I had no idea who
the hell she was singing about.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
But yeah, so much drama.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
But I also will say that for Taylor Swift to
be dissing somebody else for dissing her, like all of
Taylor Swift's albums have dissed like Kim Kardashi and Kanye West.
She's gone for them. She's gone after every ex boyfriend
she's ever held. Yeah, so why is she now writing
a song mocking someone You wrote a song about her?

Speaker 2 (04:07):
I have no idea all I know is she brought
in like thirty million dollars in theaters for I don't
even know what that was.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
It was like a sing along and that movie. So
my friends who went to see it, they loved it,
like they took their kids.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
They loved it.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
But it got some really terrible, like actual reviews, just
people saying that it was lazy, that it was the
money grab, that she put no time into it.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Yeah, tell you what if I could be lazy and
go for a money grab and pulling thirty three million
dollars in a weekend.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
I didn't have to be anything and people were going
to see it. This trending story brought to you by Trajanwealth.
Visit them at trajanwealth dot com. Did He was sentenced
to four years in prison on Friday. He read a
long statement to the judge and seemed to express remorse
for the pain.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
That he caused.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
He apologized to Cassie Ventura, to the other victims, to
his kids, and to his mom, and he swears he's
a changed man. Cassie's lawyers released a statement after the
sentencing saying, well, nothing can undo the trauma he caused.
The sentence imposed today recognizes the impact of the serious
offenses he committed. And then fifty Cent, who's had a

(05:10):
long standing feud with Ditty, took a shot at him
on X and he shared a sketch of Diddy crying
in the courtroom and said, hey, to whoever was booking
Ditty for a speaking engagement, I heard he won't be
able to make it. I'm available. So apparently Ditty had
scheduled a speaking engagement with an organization in Miami for

(05:31):
next week, thinking that he was gonna be out not
so much, Yeah, maybe in four years. And then fifty
also wrote his own letter to the judge, saying that
the judge needs to consider the safety of the general
public before unleashing Ditty on them, and he said that
he's feared for his life over the years and urged

(05:54):
the judge to extend his time in prison.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
So I think, with what fourteen months that he served
so far, maybe like three years, three years, yeah, something
like that, he does face nearly seventy lawsuits though, so
the legal problems aren't going away. And I thought the
New York Daily News they had the best headline because
you had that sketch of Diddy crying in the court room,
krocad ditty tears.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Oh that's pretty funny.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Governor Desanta's announced on Friday that a two mile stretch
of clear Water Trail between Coronado Drive and Oak Avenue
will be dedicated to Hulk Hogan. They revealed a bright
yellow and red sign with an image of him on it.
But it's not just going to be a trail with
his name on it. Here's what DeSantis said during the
press conference.

Speaker 5 (06:42):
What we're also going to do is have different types
of and it'll be in the red and yellow colors,
different types of exercise stations along the way, because you know,
people bike, they run, they walk, but you know, why
not have a pull up bar there or something so
people cannot I mean honestly, if you go for two
to three mile walk and you knock out thirty pull

(07:02):
ups or something, you know along the way, do three
sets at ten something like that, that's going to make
a big difference.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
So yeah, there's going to be pull up stations along
the trail. Yeah, that's a pretty cool idea. And hel
Hogan's son, Nick, also spoke at the dedication and said
his dad would be very proud of this because Clearwater
was always home to him.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
So what happened? I was out Friday.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
I know you guys talked about this, what's the deal
with the medical malpractice lawsuit?

Speaker 1 (07:26):
So his wife and his son filed a petition in
Penelas County for a ninety day extension on the statute
limitations to file a medical malpractice lawsuit.

Speaker 4 (07:37):
So they want a file dating yet, but they want
more time.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
We want more time to look into all of it.
And it's Moreton Plan Hospital and Tampa General Hospital that
they're looking into. He died at Morton Plant, but he
had also had I think he had that surgery at
Tampa General that messed up his neck and severed the
frenic nerve. So they're looking into all of it and
probably you know, requesting all the records and all that

(08:00):
kind of stuff. So they are looking into a lawsuit,
but nothing's been filed yet.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
It sounds like to me, just based on what we've
learned up to this point, that the place responsible for
the surgery, yes, would be much more at risk for
a medical malpractice lawsuit. I don't know what happened the
day that he died, but I don't know that there's
much everybody could have done save.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Like, yeah, it sounds like he was in rough shape
and it was probably the severing of the nerve that
affects your breathing and all of that that ended up
leading to the heart attack that killed him.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
I feel like there's going to be a lawsuit. If
I had to bet, if I had to put money
on it, I would say there's going to be a lot.
I think.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
So.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Yeah, if his if his nerve was severed, you know, accidentally,
it was Yeah, that was a medical mistake.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
Yeah, So that's that's the widow, the wife, and his son, Yes,
but not brook Brook.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Brooke has been talking publicly a lot about all of this,
but she's not part of the lawsuit. And remember she
wasn't in his will or anything like that. He left
everything to Nick.
