Speaker 1 (00:00):
The publisher of the children's book series Franklin the Turtle
released a statement condemning the unauthorized use of their beloved
character after Secretary of War Pete Hegseth shared an image
of the Turtle firing at drug books with the title
Franklin targets Narco terrorists. So you can see this on
(00:21):
our ex at Ryan Gorman Show. And the books were
actually written by Canadian authors in the eighties to teach
children about self respect, friendship, courage, honesty, empathy, and overcoming fears.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Well, Franklin turned fierce in these new editions of these books,
he sure did.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
And then after he shared that image, other people started
making them. There was one that says Franklin gets a
new job, where he's arresting Dora the Expert, and another
one Franklin hands out brains, where the turtle is giving
brains to politicians. So the publisher said, we strongly condemn
any denigrating, violent, or unauthorized use of Franklin's name or
image which directly contradicts these values.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
So you've got that, You've got the White House. They're
involved in a feud with Sabrina Carpenter. Pop Star used
her song for a video.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
Yeah, they used her song that's very about sex positions,
and then they showed people being arrested in different positions
like being arrested by ice. It was ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
So their meme department is working overtime fire right now.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
And Kinnagon responded and said, we doubt Franklin the Turtle
wants to be inclusive of drug cartels or laud the
kindness and empathy of narco terrorists.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Franklin the Turtle in those images, he's taken out those
narco terrorists, that's for sure.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
So yesterday I mentioned President Trump went on a truth
social posting spree Monday night. From seven to midnight, he
posted one hundred and fifty eight times. So Axios tracks
his social media activity. They actually have a chart that
shows when he posts, and you can see just the
mass increase in posts on Monday nights.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
It's almost one per minute. Oh my gosh, it was.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
It was crazy.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
So he started out with the criticism of political opponents,
including former Attorney General Eric Holder and Senator Mark Kelly.
He also posted about President Biden's auto pen use, including
a screenshot of an Alex Jones post accusing former First
Lady Michelle Obama of using Biden's auto pen in caase
(02:24):
of his administration. He encouraged supporters to vote in the
special election in Tennessee. He also reposted news about Minnesota
Somali community and question the legitimacy of Elon Omar's citizenship.
He shared a conspiracy theory that Nancy Pelosi planned the
January sixth Capitol riot.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
He had a lot of different content. He was thrown
at beele he totally did.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Another post included a clip of his cameo and home
alone two with the Captain Christmas is officially great again.
He shared one video celebrating Milania at least three times
Smart Smart Marry Smart's making sure he gave Melania some love.
And then one of the last posts was a repost
that said Donald Trump is not a Democrat, He's not
(03:08):
even a Republican. He is a movement, the greatest president
to ever live.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
What a social media binge.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
I mean, one hundred and fifty eight posts over the
course of just a couple of hours. And then it
was just a few hours later that he started posting again.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
He was like back at it at five thirty in
the morning.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
Yeah, he said true social is the best.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
There is nothing even close.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
So it's like he did all that. He yeah, went
to sleep for a little while, hopefully he got some sleep.
Then he woke up, grabbed his phone will he's still
in bed, and started going at it again.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
We think he was still in bed, I mean, you
know there in the morning. Maybe he was alright toiletter.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
If you have a December birthday and feel like Santa
has always upstaged your special day, well, Publics wants to
celebrate you. They just came out with a Merry Birthday case.
Such a good idea and a new ad centered around
a little girl who's tired of Santa taking priority during
her birth day. And the cake is beautiful. It's like
two tiered. The first layer has all sprinkles inside. It's
(04:05):
very festive. It's pink and green and red with cherries
on it. It actually kind of reminds me of like
the animation and the Grinch movie, like that movie. Yeah,
so it's only available by special order and you've got
to give twenty four hour notice for them to make it.
But it's really cool. And my stepsister's birthday is December
twenty fourth, oh Christmas Eve. Yeah, yeah, Christmas Eve.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
So it was always that that was her birthday, right right,
not Christmas.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Now we're older, she has kids or whatever, so they
do Christmas Eve. But when she was younger, it had
to be like, that's her birthday.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
My dad's birthday is actually tomorrow the fourth. And I'm
going to tell you it's so difficult being so close
to Chris. So you're two gifts, two gifts, and he's
the hardest person to shot for.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Really.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
Yeah, he can't get him anything. I mean it really
is a task every single year.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
But this cake. I get him this pretty pink.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
Totally. If I had known about it before I already
made arrangements, I totally would have gotten this for him.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
By FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino is going at it
with New York Post journalist Miranda Divine over her coverage
of this scathing gop led report about him and FBI
Director Cash pattel So. He went on x and accused
her of publishing gossipy anecdotes from disgruntled former employees and
accused her of being part of the deep state. He said,
(05:30):
you can always count on Miranda for a time hit piece.
When the director and I make big changes. Miranda prefers
the old guard I don't full steam.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
Ahead, boy, calling Miranda divine part of the deep stage, yeah, oh.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
Kind of crazy.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
So in her report, she mentioned that some agents have
been calling Bongino something of a clown and that he
told employees the truth is for chumps, and that he
and Cash Pateel are viewed as having an obsession with
social media. And she was just reporting on that gop
L report that came.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Out, right, I understand him take an issue with you
know what, maybe some former FBI employees or current FBI
employees are saying about him, But she's just reporting on
the report that the Republican Lake Committee put together.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Yeah, and then she put this out there. So she
responded to him and accused him of taking credit for
publishing her book, Laptop from Hell. She said her contract
was with somebody else and that this person offloaded risk
by selling a portion of the book to Bongino. And
then she said, now that he's inside the FBI, he's
attacking me for accurate reporting and accusing me of being
(06:38):
part of the deep state.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
Interesting, So there's some stuff behind the scenes with that book.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
