Speaker 1 (00:00):
Kamala Harris was on John Stewart's podcast talking about her
new book and how she felt about Joe Biden running
for president again dropping out of the race and the
position it put her in. So here's some of what
she said when they were talking about her separating herself
from Joe Biden.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
You know, I'm not talking about competence, all right, Yeah, no,
I'm not talking about competence at all. No, I believe
he was fully competent to serve. Do you really?

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (00:26):
I do.

Speaker 4 (00:26):
That surprises me, Actually, no, I do.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
But there's a distinction to be made between running for
president and being president.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
What's the distinction?

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Being a candidate for president of the United States is
about being in a marathon at a sprinter's pace, having
tomatoes thrown at you every step you take. That sounds lovely, Yeah,
it's more than a notion.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Get involved in public service.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Ladies, and to be the seated president, the sitting president
while doing that, it's a lot.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
So she thought that Joe Biden was competent to be president.
It is just insane. After everything that we know now,
she's still defending him. And then she had some choice
words for President Trump's new ballroom.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 2 (01:12):
This guy wants to create a ballroom for his rich
friends while completely turning a blind eye to the fact
that that babies are going to starve when the snap
benefits end in just hours from now. Come on, so
what I'm not going to be distracted by? Oh does
the guy have a big hammer? What about those babies?

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (01:33):
Yeah, okay?

Speaker 1 (01:35):
An interesting interview with Kaval Harris and John Stewart.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
Those are some of the highlights.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
I think the New York Post had the best headline
for this story.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
The Royal formerly known as Prince.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Andrew has now officially been stripped of his royal titles
and his brother, King Charles issued a bold statement as
he made the announcement. He said His Majesty has to
day initiated a formal process to remove the style, titles
and honors of Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew will now be
known as Andrew Mountbotten Windsor. His lease on the Royal

(02:11):
Lodge has to date provided him with legal protection to
continue in residence. Formal notice has been served to surrender
the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation.
These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he
continues to deny the allegations against him, Their majesties wish
to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have

(02:32):
been and will remain with the victims and survivors of
any and all forms of abuse.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
So Prince, he ain't a prince anymore. We're just going
to call him Andrew.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
You know, now, if you go back into history, the kings,
the monarchs, the queens, sometimes they lost their head. But
you have to go seriously, you have to go back
to like nineteen nineteen before you find a prince that
was stripped of his title. And also what I don't know.

(03:03):
I'm going to guess that this is the case, But
I don't know about the line of succession because right
now you've got Charles of course, then you've got William,
then you've got William's kids, then you've got Harry in there.
So Andrew's in there was in there somewhere, right.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
Yeah, I don't know how that works.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
I would imagine that with the stripping of the titles
comes that you cannot ever be king. I'm not sure
exactly how that works, but oh with doubt it.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
But this comes.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
As you know, Virginia Giuffrey, the woman who accused him
of sexual abuse, her book came out, a book that
she wrote before she passed away. There were also some
new allegations that we talked about last week that Prince
Andrew was trying to use his royal security to dig
up dirt on her and also to help recruit young

(03:50):
girls for him, you know, way back when. So this
is all just really really bad for the Royal family
and you know, really bad for I'm just gonna call
him Andrew.

Speaker 5 (03:59):
Now, yeah, just just call him Andrew or Andy, whatever
you prefer.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Detroit police officer has gone viral because as he was
about to testify during a court appearance via video conference,
the camera zoomed out and revealed that he wasn't dressed
appropriately for court.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Listen to this, Yes off the Jackson bathroom of thirty
nine to nineteen out of twelve precinct.

Speaker 5 (04:24):
All right, you got some pants off in the no,
sir Jackson, Okay, Lee, And I.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Don't think the judge even knew what to do. And
then there was also a woman who was on the call.
I don't know if she was a clerk or an attorney,
but The look on her face when she realizes that
this cop is not wearing any pants was priceless. So
he's sitting on the couch with his just police shirt
on his badge, and that's what you see at the beginning, right,

(04:58):
and then it's like the camera zooms out summer.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
He moves the camera and.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
You just see like legs, like bare legs and black boxers.

Speaker 5 (05:07):
Oh boy, judge, are you I'm going to come back
to what James said just a moment ago off air,
and that was basically the fact that the camera shows
more than you think it does, and sometimes people just
don't realize that. That's right, that's amazing. Oh boy, okay, whoope.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Goldberg shocked her co hosts and the audience on the
View yesterday when she announced an upcoming guest someone most
of us would never expect to be on the View.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
Listen to this.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
People in Washington are starting to say, my constituents, you know,
they're starting to remember why they're there, because you don't
get there without people putting you there and remembering that
those same people can pull you out of there. And
that's why when you said, Marjorie Taylor Green, oh yeah,

(06:02):
I'm happy to say that she's going to be here
on Tuesday. Yeah, yeah, it's election then, because it's election
to the election, and you know, she I don't know
how many things we agree on, but I know the
one thing that she and I and all of us
at this temple agree on is this should not be
affecting the American people.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
So it should be interesting to see how this goes
if they stick to kind of that one topic that
they agree on, or if they really get into it.
I mean, Marjorie Taylor Green does not hold back, and
I can totally see her and you know, like Sonny
getting into it. I think it's going to be great,
and I'm glad that they're I'm glad that they're doing it.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
You know.

Speaker 5 (06:43):
You know, I don't watch the view full disclosure eye don't.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
I watched the clips when they pop up.

Speaker 5 (06:50):
I would be I will be very interested to see
how the panel treats Marjorie Taylor Green. And I say
this from this perspective because I have seen Fox when
they have a liberal on as a guest. It's very combative,
it's very in your face. I'm thinking in particular of

(07:13):
a couple of times. One time in particular Kanala Harris
was on Fox and it was like she didn't even
hardly get to finish the sentence.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
So I'm going to be very.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
Interested to see how the folks on the View treat
Marjorie Taylor Green. Not so much for me that she's
actually going to be on the show. I think it's great.

Speaker 4 (07:31):
Yeah, what's the dynamic going to be like?

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Is how is Joy going to just sit there with
that look of disgust on her face that she has
all the time anyway while she's there, So, yeah, she'd
be interesting.

Speaker 4 (07:42):
I don't think Marjorie.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Taylor Green is going to have a problem getting a
word in though, because she she's the type that she'll
make sure that what she has to say is heard.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
I think The Ryan Gorman Show five to nine every
