Speaker 1 (00:00):
So earlier this week, we talked about Trump's Commerce Secretary,
Howard Lutnick and his comments about Jeffrey Epstein stuff he
said on the New York Post podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
So here's a recap of that.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
This guy's gross, right, So how come Bill Gates and
all these other people could hang around him and not
see what you saw?
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Or did they see it and ignore it or no?
They participated?
Speaker 3 (00:23):
Right, That's what his mo was, you know, get a massage,
Get a massage, and what happened in that massage room?
Eisen was on video. This guy was the greatest blackmailer ever.
Blackmailed people. That's how we had money.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
So, during Pam Bondi's hearing on Capitol Hill yesterday, GOP
Senator John Kennedy grilled her about Lutneck's comments.
Speaker 4 (00:42):
This guy was the greatest blackmailer ever, blackmailed people, that's how.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
He had money. End quote?
Speaker 5 (00:50):
Is that true?
Speaker 6 (00:51):
Senator? Is our July Nemo said, we did not uncover evidence.
This case has gone through three administrations as well as
former US I.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Know that, Pam, But have you have you interviewed schucked
her and Lutnik?
Speaker 6 (01:06):
No, Senator, do you plan to if he wants to
talk to the FBI or the FBI wants to talk
to him.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
That is more than don't you think you ought to
talk to him after this interview?
Speaker 6 (01:15):
Senator, If Howard Lutnik wants to speak to the FBI,
and if the Director Patel wants to speak to Howard Lutnick, absolutely.
Speaker 5 (01:23):
Okay, maybe we have to getting mister Luttnik in here too,
Mister Jim, they should, And I don't get It's pretty
clear the Department of Justice didn't look into all things Epstein.
They don't seem interested in looking into all things Epstein.
So the question is why not?
Speaker 1 (01:38):
Yeah, exactly because they they were going to they were
supposed to be transparent and get to the bottom of this.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
She made all those statements and now nothing right.
Speaker 5 (01:46):
And credit to John Kennedy, that was probably one of
the more substantive moments I thought of the entire congressional hearing.
And you have somebody of the same party as the
person who's testifying asking some tough questionquestions which you don't
see very often these days at these hearings.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Kamala Harris is on a speaking tour promoting her new
book One hundred and Seven Days, and she blasted the
Trump administration during the Day of Unreasonable Conversation summit in
LA on Monday. So she's given this word salad explanation
about how we're living in history and we're all storytellers
and we have to put a label on it, just
(02:23):
you know, the typical Kamala Harris word salad.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
And then she said this.
Speaker 4 (02:27):
Because there's so much about this moment that is trying
to make people feel like they've lost their mind, when in.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
Fact, yeah, so not the first time a curse word
has come out of her mouth, but it was a
very interesting comment. So in response to that, White House
spokesperson Cash de Side told TMZ Kamala Harris should listen
to an audio recording of her cackle before calling anyone crazy.
Speaker 5 (02:55):
What I found really interesting was this tidbit about her book.
Fourth best memoir debut since twenty twenty three, and it's
on track to become the best selling memoir of twenty
twenty five. Yes, because of high demand, the publisher ordered
a fifth printing. They're up to like five hundred thousand copies.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
I know.
Speaker 6 (03:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Well, so when I was putting the story together, I
looked it up, like.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
How is the book selling thinking it was going to
be bad, But no, she's selling.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
Books doing really well.
Speaker 5 (03:25):
Yeah, I think that's really I didn't know there was
a market for a Kamala Harris hundred seven Days memoir.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
I think it's because she threw so many people out
and the bus people want to read the drama.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
If it was just all right, Rice and all that, yeah,
they wouldn't be reading it.
Speaker 5 (03:39):
A bunch of drama. Few mf ers out there and
sure enough to doing pretty well.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
Country stars Zach Bryan just dropped a teaser for his
new song called bad News, and it's stirring up some controversy.
Some love it, some hate it. He criticizes Ice in
the song. Some people on the left really love it,
calling him brave being a country star who's speaking out
against Ice. Meanwhile, Homeland Security Secretary Christy Nome called it disrespectful.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Hey, I heard that.
Speaker 4 (04:08):
And listened to a little bit of it and extremely
disappointed and disheartened. And actually I hope he understands how
completely disrespectful that song is. Not just a law enforced
records of this country.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
She also said that she's never listened to Zach Bryan's
music and she's glad that she's never listened to it before,
or you know, or botany of his music, but she's
going to download Jason Eldin and Kid Rocks on.
Speaker 5 (04:35):
So look, if he feels really strongly about this, by
all means, go and put it in a song. I
don't know why you would want to get mixed up
in all that bit.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
And I'm real curious to know if country music stations
who do play his music, we're going to play this
song because I think there's going to be a lot
of backlash.
Speaker 5 (04:51):
Has a real Dixie Chicks feel to it. Back in
two thousand and three, that concert in London, lead singer
says we don't want this war about the Iraq war,
criticizes Bush and that changed to the trajectory of their career.
I don't know if this all happened to this. I've
never listened to his music before. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
Already had some controversy, like he had this big breakup
with his girlfriend whose name is Brionna chicken.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
Fry, that's who this guy is, and.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
She claims that he was abusive and he put out
all these social media so he's already had some issues.
Speaker 5 (05:24):
Okay, he I guess he made his debut album a
few years ago and he made it in a Florida
Airbnb rental. Oh, that's kind of how he burst onto
the scenes. Well now he's now he's in the news
first music, that's for sure.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
But well, yesterday we talked about AOC's Instagram live rant
where she encouraged people to laugh at MAGA men and
she called out Stephen Miller. Well, now Trump's communications director
Stephen Chang had a pretty nasty response to what she said.
So first, here's what AOC said on that live stream.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
Laugh at them. Stephen is a clown.
Speaker 7 (06:01):
I've never seen that guy in real life, but he
looks like he's like four to ten, and he looks
like he is angry about the fact that he's for ten,
and he looks like he is so mad that he
is for ten that he's taken that anger out at
any other population possible, like.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Laugh at them, laugh at them.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
So that was her comment the other day about Steven Miller.
So Stephen Chang, who works for the White House, shared
the video on x and he said, sounds like AOC
is often used to the shorter things in life. And
then he used the little like pinching hand emoji, like
the little icon that shows the index finger like like
(06:50):
a small uh.
Speaker 5 (06:51):
Right right right. The funny thing here is that everybody
keeps sharing the clip like. That's what AOC was laughing
about with Stephen Miller's appearance on Fox News is that
they made him watch her saying that he's really small,
that he's four to ten, right right, yeah, yeah, And
then you've got the White House guys sharing the clip
(07:14):
like I think if you're Stephen Miller, it's like, stop stop.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
Sharing the clip, like right exactly.
Speaker 5 (07:19):
My take is I I think they have a hate
crush on each other.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
Oh you do. AFC and Stephen Miller.
Speaker 5 (07:25):
I think I think it's so wrong the two of
them that they kind of find it. I think maybe
something like that going on there.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
It's a Ryan Gorman Show five to nine every weekday
morning on news radio.
Speaker 4 (07:38):
