Speaker 1 (00:00):
You guys got my picture from the game from the
Aggie game on Saturday night, right, yep, Babies love SEC football.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Baby was right there.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Yeah, this is a long running gag on the show
How Much Babies in the inappropriate places that you say
just shouldn't be there. And all started in Las Vegas
at three o'clock in the morning at Mandalay Bay with
my friend Marlin, mom and dad walking by with an
infant in the casino and Marlin gets two steps fast

(00:29):
and he goes, babies love Vegas. And so now anytime
you see one, anytime I see a baby in an
inappropriate spot, I snap a picture and send us to
my friends.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
Yeah, luckily it had the you know, the the headphones
on to that loud sound of a stadium for it.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
I mean an infant like not just a toddling infant. Baby,
But why would I would never take them to a game?

Speaker 2 (00:58):
No blows my mind, as babies love that.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
One one those loud cars.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
And you know what's coming up, And babies really love
Moto GP. Baby, babies love Moto GP at least with
F one. It's this it's the turbo six cylinders.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
Now, when they were running the v eights, very loud,
every person in the grandstand. You had to have some
kind of ill intection as an adult, so imagine a
sensitive infant or toddler's ears, like yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
You know, and you're in a stadium like that.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
And this was at the game in South Carolina, A
and M game, and I saw that on TV and
I was like, whoops, pause, I gotta get a photo
of that. I'll post that on our Instagram account today,
which you can see. But I just don't know what
parents are thinking there. Maybe they're just sometimes they want
to give them the benefit of the doubt, like boy,
they maybe their babysitter just canceled on them at the
last second.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
Yeah, I was thinking about that.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
I was like, why wouldn't you get a babysitter, And
then my second thought was that probably was the babysitter.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Who had plans. Right, the parents are at some nice
quiet dinner.

Speaker 5 (02:06):
Yeh's secret light game.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
Well you mind if I take the baby to the game.
Oh god, fun.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Tricia's got the story we love coming up in just
a little bit kind of a.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
Follow up to Elon Musk.

Speaker 5 (02:21):
Right, tell us, Yeah, last week I told you all
about Elon Musk buying a huge compound in Austin for
his baby mamas and his eleven children. And now Elon
has responded to this story. Wait till you hear what
he has to say.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
All right, stay with us. The story we love is
coming up.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
It's the JV and Sandy Show on Austin's eighties station
one O three point one and streaming on the iHeartRadio app.
And if you want to win one thousand dollars, need
to be listening at nine o'clock this morning. That's your
first chance today. Be listening at nine and when.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
Austin dot com. Good morning.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
It's the Sandy Show where we are proud to team
up with Bank open your account conveniently online at www
dot bar dot Bank. Member fdiic Tricia says she's got
an update on the Elon Musk compound in Austin. This
is where he's gonna have all his baby mamas and
his eleven children. So that's story coming up in just

(03:19):
a second. First, a reminder that this Saturday is that
fundraiser for our friend Jennifer Furzell, longtime listener of the
JB and Sandy Show. It's Saturday beginning at three point
thirty at the Mill, ninety one twelve Anderson Mill Road.
This is a strip. This is a strip mall bar
one of my favorites, you know what I mean? Nice
the bar and the strip mall. Love that. Barbecue plates

(03:40):
are twenty five bucks. They're gonna have live music. They're
gonna have live auction going on as well. If you
can come out, we're all gonna be there. Come out,
say hi, eat some good food, take in some music,
raise some money for a good lady. She's been battling
cancer for years. Unfortunately, she's not gonna be able to
be there on Saturday because she's in Phoenix getting treatment.
So we're gonna be there, So come by and say

(04:01):
hi again. That is this Saturday at the Mill, beginning
at three point thirty.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
His stories we love So.

Speaker 5 (04:08):
Last week I told you guys about Elon Musk supposedly
buying a huge thirty five million dollar compound in Austin,
building houses on it for his baby mamas, his eleven children.
We were trying to figure out where it was very
interested in wanting to know where it is. But Elon
Musk was asked about it by page six and he said,

(04:30):
I don't own nor am I building a compound in Austin.
He said, no grand family compound or home has been
built or is expected to be built. But there is
a little bit of a truth to this report, because
he did say that he does have a big idea
for a futuristic project that's going to be open to
the public, but that he's just had too much work
on his plate right now to get to it.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
So supposedly, according to.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
Elon, no big giant family compound for all the Musks.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
I don't believe him, because you remember he denying that
he was staying on that lake Austin residence on the water,
and it was right. It was the home of one
of his fellow co founders of PayPal. Yeah who owns
that home, Howry or something maybe is his name. And
then of course I'm out on the lake a lot.

(05:19):
My daughter's a pro wakeser forer and I help her.
I drive for her for lessons sometimes. And there were
just like this was quite a while back. There were
always just a bunch of tesla's in the driveway, and
that's where he was supposedly staying. And yeah, this has
to be it like it has to be. He was
denying that too.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
Like to throw people off because that was a big story,
and he's probably like, I don't want people knowing where
I live. Could be saying it just to throw people
off the scent.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
And he has to probably keep people thrown off from
where he lives for security reasons. I mean, Michael Dell
bought a hilltop in Westlake for a reason. It's easy
to secure you're you know, you're a threat for kidnapping anything,

(06:06):
terrible stuff out there. And he's high profile. Not to
mention that Elon has clearly taken a political side that
would worry me more than anything.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
I tend to believe him that he's not doing this.
And I'll tell you why. Elon's pretty smart guy. Wouldn't
you say?

Speaker 4 (06:22):
Smart? Smart?

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Right? What smart guy? Especially if you're the richest guy
in the world. Why would you want your three baby
mamas around? You know what I mean, like all the time,
like when you want to place for yourself. He clearly
likes the ladies. I'm just saying, he would you do that?

Speaker 4 (06:42):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
There's a high convenience factor there, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
He wants to see his kids. Yes, he has all
the wealth and power. He wants to get him all
around him, I guess. But yeah, exes or exes for
a reason.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
That's kind of what.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
I was trying to say. Thank yeah, your exes or
excess for a reason.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
Why.

Speaker 5 (07:03):
But I mean, you know my friend, one of my
friends who when she got divorced, her husband was wealthy.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
He lived in one state. She lived in Texas.

Speaker 5 (07:10):
He said, if you will move with the kids to
the same city that I live in, I'm going to
pay you X amount of dollars a month and I
will buy your own house, like purely for the convenience
of not having to do the travel back and forth
to see his kids.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
And she did it.

Speaker 5 (07:27):
She'd have been a fool not to the amount of
money she got paid. Could be that Where does where
does Elon Musk lay his head at night?

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Where does he think?

Speaker 1 (07:36):
He's probably got a place out at the factory.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
Right, and some would surprise me if he sleeps at
his desk, Yeah, five nights a week.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
You know, he's he's a freak. He really is.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Yeah, I mean, maybe.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
He just wants a little privacy. Can't blame the guy
right plays for and his family. I don't know, he's
just not.

Speaker 5 (07:58):
Going to say where, But I am interested in whatever
he said is for this big futuristic art project for Austin.
I feel like whatever that is a project super cool.
The one that I said was going to be open
to the public. That that is one of his projects
he's working on.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
Nothing will top the on Lamar when you go just
past Sixth Street between sixth and like Barton Springs, that
little blue project that they put up there years ago.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
Nothing will ever beat that. Son. Yes, it was supposed
to be.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Yeah, that was they were supposed to close. They were
supposed to glow from your headlights when you went under
at night.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
And it was hazard light that. I was like, I
don't know what that would means.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
It's literal work. Yeah, but it's still there. Is it still?
I think? Yeah? I think so. I haven't thought about
that in a long time.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
That was big news for a big, major public art project.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
And that was it.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
And then when you saw it, you're all.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
You should start over that That is the story we love.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
Funny thing happened, and I haven't talked to you guys
about it because I guess we've just been busy since Halloween.
But pretty like I think we talked about it that morning.
It was a Thursday, was Halloween, right, right? You guys
live in a neighborhood just kids galore, right, yes, just
every crazy we we live. We're in Travis Heights and

(11:17):
we're we're on a dead end street where there's just
we've been here nine almost ten years and never had
one trick or treater.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
Yet we stock up as if there's going to be thousands.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
And that's a little little, you know, sort of informal
agreement with my wife.

Speaker 4 (11:32):
Oh, we better stock up because she's got the sweet tooth.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
Yeah, right, better stock up just in case.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
And yet it's no ever ever, So she crashed kind
of early. And there's a little my neighborhood bar, I
guess on South Congress called White Tiger. I like to take.
I have two small terriers. One is Maverick, he's eleven
years old, and Clyde's the new one.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
He just turned one. And I take them one time
and I just go to that bar. I'll go sit.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
I sit in the same spot. I'm like, I'm like,
it's like cheers. I sit at the end by the street,
and my whichever dog I bring, they sit on a
little barstool and they can.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
Watch all the people going up and down the street.
It's great.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
And I just have a beer and then I go
home and it's just this nice little thing.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
Anyway.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
I you know, it was lost on me that it
was Halloween right where my daughter's twenty two.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
It's not like you guys, where it's still a big thing.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
And I go down there and I threw a little
costume that I got on Amazon on Clyde.

Speaker 4 (12:40):
Now keeping my Clyde is a border Terrier.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
A lot of people seem to think he's one of
these griffin Something's real, real squachy looking face. He looks
like a star wars ewok, and he's like eight pounds.
He's cute and he's so sweet. He's not smarts really,
I mean, just the dumbest dog I've ever had by

(13:04):
a mile, but he is so sweet. My wife and
I were talking about it today. We've had We got
him when he was eight months old. He was a
rescue in a foster here and he was rescued from
a Mexican shelter where they were going to put him down,
and so I wanted to get him a little Halloween.

(13:25):
I'm not a dresser dog up person, but I just
felt inclined to do it given his history.

Speaker 4 (13:30):
And so here here's what the costume looks like.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
And then I'll tell you what happened on Thursday night.
So it's a little poncho like rainbow colors poncho and
for those who can't are not washing.

Speaker 4 (13:45):
And then a little tiny sombrero that retired said.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
Or he's so he's so dang cute and sweet. So
I go down to my bars. It's called White Tiger,
and I always sit there, and the bartender is Bamby.
She's she's real cute and sweet. She loves Clyde and Maverick,
whichever dog I bring, and and I'm sitting there and

(14:12):
we're just hanging out, and of course everyone there's Bamby.

Speaker 4 (14:15):
Those of you watching, she's the bartender. She's holding Yeah,
I don't know if that's a Shrek costume. I don't
know what that is.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
And uh and so anyway, this is like just a
regular thing. I was just doing it to kill some time.
I was a little, you know. And they have a
back patio and I guess someone had put together a
party in the back patio that was a Halloween costume.

Speaker 4 (14:42):
I didn't know that.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
And this woman comes up and she goes, hey, we
have a pet division for the costume party, and your
dog's gonna win. And I was like, I didn't come
here for the competition.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
But okay, contest is in the back did you hear that.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
Clyde climb Clyde.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
So I go back there just for the awards and
he and.

Speaker 4 (15:11):
Go on there's a little stage.

Speaker 3 (15:13):
They have live music back there, and Clyde wins surprise
and it was like, you know, it was one of
those I don't know which one off hand, sorry, but
it was one of those pet services where they get
a monthly oh inscription of toys and whatnots for your dog.
So I got one of those for free. There was like,
you know, up some bones in there and two toys.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
Did you just walk up on stage and just hold out?

Speaker 4 (15:34):
Yeah, pretty much just down the area, just held them out. Look,
where's my dog?

Speaker 3 (15:41):
I'm the creepy guy that dresses my dog up and
comes down here. And I'm sure it was so my
wife gets up before me, which is funny because being
doing morning radio, I was up two hours before her
for you know, twenty years in marriage. And uh, I'm
sure she was looking at like there's a ribbon and

(16:04):
a prize and a thing, and.

Speaker 4 (16:06):
What did you do last night.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
That Clyde passed out in his costume?

Speaker 4 (16:14):
You know, like what happened?

Speaker 2 (16:18):
But his new bones hanging out of his mouth?

Speaker 4 (16:21):
You know he big month for Clyde.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
He turned one in late September and he he won
a contest for the winner.

Speaker 4 (16:28):
He's a big yeah. I see.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
I can't believe he didn't call airing up, Like when
do you want to go?

Speaker 4 (16:32):
You're not gonna believe this. I knew she was sound asleep.
Oh okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. I didn't want to wake
her up, but big night, big night. It was like, whatever, dude,
I'm so past that average elevenies.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Just like he's a grumpy old man, which I actually
have read some stuff that dogs truly get grumpy with
old age like humans.

Speaker 5 (16:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
Really yeah, Like does hello, what's up?

Speaker 5 (17:02):
Does he just tolerate Clyde? Or does he like Clyde?
He likes somebody tolerate. You're right, he tolerates it. It's annoying,
but it's.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
If you've ever had an old dog and then you
bring a new puppy into it, it it reinvigorates them.
If you've ever witnessed that at home, it and we've
done it a few times. We always have an old
dog and a young dog, and it does. I think
it extends the life of the old dog.

Speaker 4 (17:24):
It's pretty funny.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
We stopped by Tricia and I stopped by j B
and Aaron's house, and Jav said told us just to
come on in because he was going to be in
the shower. And so we got started walking up to
the front door, and those dogs are ferocious barking.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
On the other side of.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
And they just are fierce. Yeah, they yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
And then and then as soon as we got in
the house and Tricia sat down in a chair, both
of them up on our lap.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Life they went from protecting the house from strangers right.

Speaker 4 (17:58):
Sitting in your lap seconds later, not.

Speaker 5 (18:01):
Even thirty seconds, Like I'm not even sure my bet
was completely in the chair and they were.

Speaker 4 (18:04):
Taking my boys. I'm surprised. I never thought about that.
They don't know you at all, No, and they just
were like okay, They're like.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
You needed any pass made security barrier.

Speaker 1 (18:15):
You could say good night to this one.
