Speaker 1 (00:00):
Over the weekend, our daughter celebrated her sixteenth birthday and
there was a party to be had.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Trisia did a good job.
Speaker 1 (00:08):
She did a lot of work and planning of the
party and decorating for the party and doing all kinds
of nice things.
Speaker 3 (00:14):
Yeah, it was a birthday weekend because her birthday was
actually Friday, so she woke up. I decorated it all
up real nice in the kitchen at the kitchen table.
Thursday night, she woke up to presence and then the
three of us went out to breakfast.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Yep, that was fun.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
That was fun. Then we went to her restaurant of
choice to celebrate her sixteenth birthday was Texas Roadhouse. Good
just for the rolls, just for the rolls alone, which
we brought home a bunch of them. She took a
big group of us and her friend go ahead, I was.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
Gonna say, and her friend Jewels were with us, which
was fun.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
And apparently the thing that they do to celebrate birthdays
at Texas Roadhouse is they have a saddle on like
a a stand and they can roll it out and
right before our sixteen year old got on it and
everybody who there saying first they had to let the
two year old a few tables down get on it
for her birthday. Yeah, and everybody sing right, and then
(01:08):
two year old's like, what I thought, this was my
special day. This little girl's basking in all the restaurants
singing to her. And then all of a sudden, everybody
stops looking at her and looks at Landry.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
Yeah, and she jumped right up on that saddle.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
Yeah she did, she did it. But then Saturday was
the big day. The house threw up in all things
sweet sixteen and happy birthday, balloons and all the things
that you do. I have a balloon tying injury on
my pointer finger and my middle finger on my left
hand from tying so many balloons. Yeah, but ten of
(01:41):
her friends came over and they snacked it up. They
got in this cool white limo, went to a Bucky's
and bass Drop and shopped around for about forty five minutes,
and then we drove back home. And the way home,
I ordered five pizzas. There were eleven girls, some adults
one and a half pizza sky to eat because they
snacked it up at the BUCkies.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
And Tricia went and asked if the mascot would come
out and it wasn't there.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
Shift was already over, it was already.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
Gone, right, And but overall she has a really really
good group of friends, nice kids, really really funny, eclectic.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
They're different, all.
Speaker 4 (02:18):
Different, all funny.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
I'd like to give a shout out to the limo driver, Desiree,
because the girls took the karaoke machine into the limo
and sang into it as loudly as they could all
the way there and all the way back.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Yeah, and she was cool with it.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
She was like, because I've heard louder, but she was
giving them some price because the girls are good. Oh yeah, yeah,
they're pretty good. So it was a great birthday and
I think the girls loved it. Not a single boy there,
and I was a very happy not a single boy there. Yeah,
so all girls, well, she's got friends from each end
of the spectrum. They're all they're not I mean, they're
(02:56):
just you know what I'm.
Speaker 4 (02:57):
Saying, right, they're all very e collective.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
Yes, they're all very different, different backgrounds, and they're all sweet.
I like them all. And they all gave her these
great presents, like a lot of thought put into their gifts,
Like a lot of them made things for her or
said I got this for you. Like Landry's been running
a lot. One of the gifts one of her friends
gave her was a big thing of epsom salt and
(03:21):
she said, it's so you can soak your feet after
you run. Like they're very thoughtful in their gift giving,
which I love.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
They are there. It's good.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
So and then the funny thing is that each kid
got ten bucks to spend at the BUCkies and get
a funny gift, and then they gave them all to
Landry when she when they.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
Got back, yeah, we told them you have ten bucks.
We give an each of ten dollars bill and said
find the weirdest, most random, funniest, weirdest gift you can find,
but it can't cost more than ten bucks. And they
did a big reveal at the house and some of
them were hilarious.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
So Birthday weekend over.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
Yeah, I was exhausted, exhausted. The festivities you did a lot.
I know, I never think it's going to a lot,
and then I think I guess it just to do
it all, get too excited and keep going.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (04:05):
I love doing it though.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
Stick around.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
We've got more coming out on Austin's eighty station one
O three point one and streaming at one O three
to one Austin dot Com. Actress Sidney Sweeney is people
are selling something of hers or she's selling it.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
No, she's in on it.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
She totally know it's it's a company that's selling it.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
All right, stay with us. Trisa's got that in the
Story we Love coming up in just a second. Hopefully
you guys had a good weekend. Ours was super busy,
super busy, very very very busy. But I'd rather be
busy than not busy. So I churched out just Bella Park.
Speaker 4 (04:40):
Yesterday though, because I was just so tired.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
Just too much about it.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
It's just tired.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
The Stories we Love live.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
From the Lester Holt Studios.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
It's Trisha Delicia. It sounds like one of the newest
sixteen year olds out there.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
Sandy, It is all right, Sydney Sweeney. Let's talk about
her please.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
Let's first acknowledge that she is very much aware of
her own sex appeal.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Yes, she is.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
Sandy recently discovered her when he was like, who was that?
When I mentioned her name and I pulled up a
picture and he was like, hello, lady, I'm Sydney. Sydney.
She's a little bit sexy. So she did a photo
shoot for a company that called Doctor Squatch.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
Have you heard of that?
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Sure?
Speaker 3 (05:21):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, she did a photo shoot for Doctor Squatch.
Here's what she said. We were at the Doctor Squatch shoot.
They had a bathtub for me. I actually got in
there and I took some soap and had a nice
little bath and they took the water.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
So it's my real bathwater.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
What they're doing with the real bathwater is selling a
Sydney's Bathwater Bliss bar of soap. We're selling an eight
dollar bar of soap made with the actual bathwater that
she sat in during the photo shoot. Now that feels
a little gross, right Doctor Squatch, Yeah, I've heard of them.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
I've seen their ads and stuff. I'm more of a
duke's cannon.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
I know, a duke's cannon guy. She also said that
she wanted the scent of it to lean more towards
her home roots. So it's an outdoorsy scent like pine
and earthy moss and fur. And she said it smells
super manly, but kind of in that men and women
both can wear it kind of way.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
It's just kind of it's kind of grossed creaking about,
you know what I mean. It's just I'm reading about
it right now from Doctor Squad. It's great, great promo stop.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
I mean, yeah, definitely.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
Great marketing, really really good marketing. But if you're a creep,
if you're out there buying.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
It, I don't think they're buying it for the smell
of like woods and furs, fur trees and you know
what I mean. I don't think they're going into it
for for that. You can buy it on June sixth,
the only online eight dollars each limited supply eight bucks
eight bucks for bars. How much of your big Duke cannon.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
Well, see, that's the thing. I mean, that's not expensive.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
It's not expensive about can I get are huge or
like a brick, and they last just as long as
any other, like if it was three bars of soap.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
Yeah, you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
So she also said that she hopes that these bars
have soap help encourage her fans to take care of
themselves in a healthy way.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
Thank you, said me, thank you. Stay clean?
Speaker 3 (07:20):
Right, Yeah, basically she's all stay clean, put on some theater.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
But again, just like as we were talking earlier, about
get it? Why you can you know what I mean,
what were we talking about earlier? That was we were talking.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
About Benson Boone his ticket prices being kind of pricey.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
Yeah, but you.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
Got to strike by irons hot friends exactly because if
you don't do it, then you don't know if it's
gonna happen again, that's for sure.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
Is there anybody out there who's bathwater you would purchase?
Speaker 1 (07:46):
Oh, I just think it's creepy and weird. I mean,
it's going to be a good ga It'll be a
good gift, you know, like a silly gift.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
I mean, I love Me's a Brad Pitt, but I
don't want anything made out of his bathwater. I'm gonna
tell you that for sure. Nor do Yeah. Yeah, it's
a good gag gift kind of things. So saus Doctor Squatch,
Sydney's bathwater, Bless Bliss Stay.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
That's the story. We love.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
It's hard to believe first part of June. Here's some
stuff that you can look forward to in the month
of June. Sports and June traditionally kind of a slow
time for traditional sports. You know, your football, basketball, Baseball's
kind of in the dog days of summer. No one
really follows it a whole lot. But Stanley Cup Final
start day after tomorrow. I'm super excited about that. Edmonton
(08:35):
Oilers are taking on the Florida Panthers. I'm team Edmonton,
are you I like the Yeah? Unless my Dallas Stars win,
then I want it to be like a cold weather team.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
I don't want to warm weather team like Phoenix winning
the NA winning hockey. I don't know. I'm just that.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
And the best player in the world plays for the
Edmonton Oilers, Connor McDavid.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
Unbelievably believable. So let's start stay after tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
NBA Finals get going on Thursday, and tennis the French
Open runs through the next week next Monday. Golf the
US Open starts on the twelfth, goes to the fifteenth.
That is always Father's Day weekend, and it's normally when
we're driving our daughter to her from camp.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
It does seem that she's always at camp on Father's Day.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Yes, it does. A bunch of movies are hitting the theaters.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
The John Wick spinoff Ballerina comes out Friday.
Speaker 4 (09:31):
Yep, I will definitely go see.
Speaker 2 (09:32):

night WI on a to armist. That's right right.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
Also, the live action remake of How To Train Your
Dragon is going to be out on the thirteenth.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
I am so going to see that. My favorite animated
movie is How to Train Your Dragon. Oh really, our
daughter Lander and are already planning to go see How
to Train Your Dragon.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
Well, you're gonna have a busy month of June at
the movie theaters because Brad Pitt's movie comes out.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
F One comes out on June the twenty seventh. Correct,
I will be there as well.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
You're gonna be bus I know.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
But I'm so happy that there are some movies coming
out that I actually want to see How to Chain
Your Dragons and F One on the big screen. Small
chance I could wait for Ballerina to stream at home.
We're just gonna see how I'm feeling.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
You know.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
You guys got to fill up stuff in the summer activities.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
On television, Duck Dynasty the revival started yesterday. Phil Robertson,
who just died a week ago, he's not going to
be in the new series.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
He's not gonna be in it. So Love Island returns
to Peacock.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
Season three of Ginny and Georgia comes out on Netflix
on Thursday. America's Sweethearts Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders is back on
the eighteenth. The Bear, which I'd really like to watch.
I don't have Hulu. Trisha does, but I don't.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
Oh my god, I can't have this conversation with you again.
I will not send you the past. I have never ever,
Sandy mclree. I've sent it to you three times asked
for it. Yes, I don't even have Hulu on my
tid sent it to you so you could get it.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
I don't even you.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
Best Squid Game third and final season comes out on
June twenty seventh. If you're into award show there's a
couple who keep in mind, the Tony Awards or on
June eighth. And if you're into the Tone into Broadway
that I got. Kerr called out last week about that.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
Because you thought it was no big deal, and I
was like, yeah, people will rip your hat off.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
Who are into it either love it or you hate it.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards is on the twenty seventh. Finally,
The Big Ones Father's Day is on the fifteenth. That's
early this year.
Speaker 4 (11:37):
It does feel early.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
Yeah, Also, it's Pride month. First day of summer is
on the twentieth and juneteenth. Of course on the nineteenth.
There are a few days for you. National Best Friend's Day,
it's coming up on June eighth. Got Flag Day on
the fourteenth, which is my dad's childhood friends Jane Bocus's birthday.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
Why I remember that? I don't know.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
Why do I know that? I thought so weird that
I know that I've never met the man.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
And the National Selfie Day is on June twenty first.
So there you go. That's some stuff to look forward
to in the month of May. Stay with us. We've
got more coming up rapid fire, Q and A. I
got three questions for Tricia. Are you ready? I'm Ready's
a hard hitting questions, Tricia, A very difficult.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
I can't the lasers mean we're on the record. You
cannot tell a lie now, nice.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
Basically you're under oath, Chrisia, what is your favorite summertime food?
Speaker 3 (12:31):
Oh? That's easy.
Speaker 4 (12:32):
Watermelon?
Speaker 2 (12:33):
Oh you do love a watermelon.
Speaker 3 (12:35):
How many watermelons do you think I eat in a
summer in a watermelon? Seventeen eighteen? Easy?
Speaker 4 (12:41):
Yeah, I can't tell you watermelon.
Speaker 1 (12:44):
If you'll stop spending too much money on the ones
that are already cut up.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
I will cut them for you.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
I don't buy them cut because I don't want to
cut them. I buy them cut so I can see
how red they are. Because it's it's half a quarter
one they get set your crap.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
Shoot, you can get some of them that are already
like quartered or half I can't.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
Really have those very often.
Speaker 3 (13:04):
But but second is also because it's I can just
open it right up and eat it.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
Such a mess to cut it.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
I get the little plastic container and it's just nine
dollars for this nine dollars. You know, that's grocery store's
biggest profit. Margins are the pre cut, fingy cut.
Speaker 4 (13:21):
Stuff people are paying.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
I also buy pre cut onions if I'm finally going
to cook stuff. I mean, it's totally worth it. Don't
you think it's worth it?
Speaker 1 (13:32):
I saw a video there, Silent. It was a restaurant,
fast food restaurant, I think, and they said that like,
we take our cut and onion serious, and a guy
was doing them with like a gas mask off because
they do a lot of them, you know what I mean?
And you Tiara Tricia, what is the oldest article of
clothing you own and still wear on the Regulu.
Speaker 4 (13:52):
Yeah all right.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
I thought for sure it was going to be a
pair of comfy pants because I pretty much live in those.
But Sandy, it's my white dress with the blue stripes.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
The pockets in the front, with the pockets in.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
The front, the sleeveless short dress that I wore right
after we got married.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
What seventeen years ago?
Speaker 3 (14:12):
I wore it in my DMV photo when I went
to get my new driver's license with my new last name,
and then when I had to get it renewed again.
I don't know. Three years ago I wore the exact
same dress on purpose for my XDMB bull but the
photo wasn't as good, No, because I owent isn't as
young looking as you were. Older, it's older, just old.
It wasn't as great.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
So how old is that dress?
Speaker 3 (14:33):
So that dress I've had, we've been married seventeen years
probably eighteen nineteen years old?
Speaker 4 (14:37):
Still wear it?
Speaker 2 (14:37):
Yeah, Yeah, we got your money. You're making money on
that dress.
Speaker 3 (14:40):
Making money on that dress, Jay Crew.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
Final question, Tricia, when you divorce me and you start
dating again, Oh god, what is the youngest and oldest
you would date.
Speaker 3 (14:54):
Ooh, that's a weird question. Had the thought of dating again?
I know, so let me see this. I'm more apt
to probably go younger than too much older. Okay, I
mean I still have a little PTSD from when I
was in my twenties and I went out with a
guy who was like ten years older than me. Yeah,
and remember like I spent in his house and I
(15:17):
turned around and he was naked in like a half
a second.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
Yeah, So I mean, I don't know, but I'm older now.
But I'm saying, if you and I get a divorce
and I'm out and about catting out, canting around out
in the wild again, I'm gonna try. I'm gonna try
some stuff.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
You gotta give me a number.
Speaker 4 (15:34):
I don't have a number.
Speaker 3 (15:35):
I'm just saying I don't have a limit either way.
If something presents itself, we'll see how I'm feeling.
Speaker 4 (15:43):
Eighteen, I mean, it's at least going to be legal, Come.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
On out, come on an adult drink.
Speaker 4 (15:50):
But I'm just saying, Okay, I don't see what happened.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
Don't get all she's all excited thinking about it. I'm doomed.
I am doomed. I'm going to live.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
I'm going to live my older years alone and probably
I'm alright with that. Okay, never mind, you're upset. Yeah,
that's starting to get in really good shape.
Speaker 3 (16:10):
You know. See that's a little bit of it right there.
You're trying to get in good shape because you're anticipating
me divorcing you, so you can go catting around a
little bit.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
Oh yeah, it'd be quite a catch. Oh God, stay
with that's rapid fire.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
Q and A.
Speaker 1 (16:24):
We've got more coming up on what O three point one,
Austin's eighties station.
