Part of the problem here is that after the alleged
suspect shot a woman in the parking lot, he then
turned the gun on himself. He died as a result
of the shooting. The woman now in critical condition. I
want to show you some video from a bit earlier

see the man's body there between the cars. We also
saw the trunk on an suv opened up with a

sitting out behind it. It's unclear if that is the
victim's car, but we believe it was later towed away
from the scene. There is the suspect now dead after
a self inflicted gunshot wound. So the Riverside Police Department
tells us they're trying to figure out what caused all this,
what the motivation was, if the suspect and the victim
had any connection to each other outside of the workplace.
And again they're saying that the suspect in this case

his departure from that are under investigation.

A lot of details to unpack here. They told us
that the seventeen year old who was shot by police
has since been declared deceased. This would have happened at
some point en route to hospital.

happened over at the Conico gas station. Police were called here.
They were a nine one one officer or operator rather
had received a call that someone in the area was
planning to shoot out the area and the business that
was the suspect of police. And then moments later, the
owner of the business actually phoned back saying that he
had locked himself inside of the business because he was fearful.

And then officers ended up getting here within minutes. They
came out with a few weapons with them, a rifle,
a pistol, and a forty millimeter and that fires foam rounds. Now,
they did go around the corner and they say that
the person was there with their hands concealed. They say
that despite being told numerous times, let me see your hands,

he moved towards officers and that's when they fired those
foam rounds. They say that that didn't stop him, but
he continued to come for officers and that is when
a pistol was fired. Now, this is going to be
investigated what transpired here. We are just waiting to get
more details on exactly what prompted that officer to fire
that pistol. We did ask about that frame of thought,

the mindset, and of course the chief was saying that
that is all going to be part of the investigation.
That takes place from here. At the scene, there are
a number of officers, including officers from outside of this area.
They of course, are all going to play a role
in the investigation. Right now, they are appealing to the
public asking that if anybody does have any video, if

A man was shot and killed by San Diego police
this morning in City Heights. Police say a man on
the campus of an elementary school was reportedly armed with
a knife and a gun. The police shooting happened a
few blocks off campus. Our ABC ten is reporter Laura
Acevedo was on scene today where the California Department of
Justice is now in charge of the investigation.

This deadly SDPD shooting happened behind me, just up the street.
We're on Orange Avenue. This is near fifty second Street.
Police have several of these streets blocked off while the
state Department of Justice investigates crime scene tape and police
investigators philled Orange Avenue in City Heights Tuesday morning. The

but were unsuccessful. The confrontation ended in a shooting. No
officers were hurt, but the man was shot and killed.

grabbed his weapon and started toward the area where he
hurt the glass breaking. As he approached that area, he
encountered a subject and his home. Gunshots rang out between
the homeowner and the subject. At this time, the subject
is deceased.

been the man killed and the alleged target of this shooting.

Good morning, I'm Annie Crawl. On Sunday, we were learning
more about a car thief the police say was shot
and killed early Saturday morning after trying to break into
a vehicle and was shot by one of the residents nearby. Now,
this all happened in the Boulevard Heights neighborhood around five
am on Saturday morning. Police tell us that one of
the residents saw two people breaking into a car in

the thirty eight hundred block of Tests and Court. They
were armed, and police say one of the residents came
and shot one of the suspects. The other one ran
and fled the scene. Now, all of this is part
of a legal conversation about what that resident was protected
by when it comes to the law. Because one of
the suspects was armed and brandished a weapon, the resident
was legally allowed to try and defend their own life. Now,

but in this case, that is not what happened. Police
are continuing the investigation on what happened with Saturday, and

a live look. This is Granton Medical Center where Gros
City Police officers recovering after being shot. Police telling us
the suspect was also shot and has died. Now, this
all happened just in the past couple of hours in
Gross City. Thank you for joining us tonight at eleven,

Well, Jeff Ylando, we're here at the corner of Thomas
Avenue and Sheldon Place and this is about as close
as they're allowing us to get to the scene. But
we just got an update from Lieutenant Jason Stern and
he tells us that officer is going.

The suspect is dead now. Officers were called to the
scene here on Louise Court at five point fifteen tonight
for a report of a burglary in progress. The homeowner
told dispatchers they saw a male suspect inside their home
with a gun. When officers arrived, they attempted to order
the suspect to surrender, but in the suspect barricaded himself
(26:38):
inside the home. That's when the Grove City Strategic Response
Team responded. Just over three hours later, the suspect took
off from the home on foot. After a foot pursuit,
the suspect fired at officers, hitting one of them. Several
officers fired back, hitting the suspect. Both were taken to
the hospital. The officer is in stable condition at this time,

and the suspect did not survive. Lieutenant Stern says they
are not releasing any identities at this time, but the
suspect is believed to be an adult male. Police do
not believe anyone else was involved. Here's more on what
Lieutenant Stern had to say.

A suspect who police say was firing an assault rifle
in Northeast Houston neighborhood is now dead after being shot
by police this morning. This was near Hartwick Road in
Maple Leaf Street. KPRC two news reporter Ricky Muno's was
at the scene this morning.

We're sending right in front of the fifty eight hundred
block of Heartwick and you can see behind me. The
scene is still very active now. Police say a man
opened fire with an AR fifteen style rifle before being
shot and killed by officers. Investigators say around eight this morning,
neighbors called nine one one reporting gunfire in the street.
Three officers from HPD's Northeast Division arrived and confronted a

twenty nine year old Hispanic man.

Police say he ignored commands, who dropped the weapon and
engaged with officers. Two of the three officers fired several rounds.
The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say
showcasings were found nearby, confirming the man had fired before
officers arrived. No one else was injured, and police believe
there's no ongoing threat to the community who do.

and killing Panela's Park. This happened over the weekend. This
was at home on eighty second Avenue North. The Panellas
County Sheriff's office says Panella's Park officers responded to the
short term rental when the renter didn't leave at checkout time.

They say that man came to the door with the
knife when officers got there. This happened around eleven thirty
Sunday morning. Sheriff Bob Waltierre says it started a two
hour long standoff. Police made forty attempts to get him
to leave, but they say he refused.

to the front door and had a knife in his hand.
And when he came to the front door and became
very very confrontational with the officers.

the Riverside Police Department. They say that the person the
alleged shooter is a former employee up until very recently,
so they're trying to figure out if this is going
to be a workplace violence type of thing.

Department telling us they've got a long investigation into this.
Part of the problem here is that after the alleged
suspect shot a woman in the parking lot, he then
turned the gun on himself. He died as a result
of the shooting. The woman now in critical condition. I
want to show you some video from a bit earlier
here when this was all going down Skycow overhead. You
see the man's body there between the cars. We also
saw the trunk on an suv opened up with a

vacuum and some other would appear to be cleaning supplies
sitting out behind it. It's unclear if that is the
victim's car, but we believe it was later towed away
from the scene. There is the suspect now dead after
a self inflicted gunshot wound. So the Riverside Police Department
tells us they're trying to figure out what caused all this,
what the motivation was, if the suspect and the victim
had any connection to each other outside of the workplace.
And again they're saying that the suspect in this case

did recently work at that towyard. Obviously the circumstances surrounding
his departure from that are under investigation.

some details. The head of the agency says it started

just heard from Aurora Police Chief Top Chamberlain just moments
ago updating us on what they know so far.

A lot of details to unpack here. They told us
that the seventeen year old who was shot by police
has since been declared deceased. This would have happened at
some point en route to hospital.

Of the way to show you the scene. This all
happened over at the Conico gas station. Police were called here.
They were a nine one one officer or operator rather
had received a call that someone in the area was
planning to shoot out the area and the business that
was the suspect of police. And then moments later, the
owner of the business actually phoned back saying that he
had locked himself inside of the business because he was fearful.

And then officers ended up getting here within minutes. They
came out with a few weapons with them, a rifle,
a pistol, and a forty millimeter and that fires foam rounds. Now,
they did go around the corner and they say that
the person was there with their hands concealed. They say
that despite being told numerous times, let me see your hands,

he moved towards officers and that's when they fired those
foam rounds. They say that that didn't stop him, but
he continued to come for officers and that is when
a pistol was fired. Now, this is going to be
investigated what transpired here. We are just waiting to get
more details on exactly what prompted that officer to fire
that pistol. We did ask about that frame of thought,

the mindset, and of course the chief was saying that
that is all going to be part of the investigation.
That takes place from here. At the scene, there are
a number of officers, including officers from outside of this area.
They of course, are all going to play a role
in the investigation. Right now, they are appealing to the
public asking that if anybody does have any video, if

they happen to witness anything that took place here, they
are hoping to hear from them.

As for the business owner, what we are told is
that that business owner was taken to police headquarters and
is being interviewed.

A man was shot and killed by San Diego police
this morning in City Heights. Police say a man on
the campus of an elementary school was reportedly armed with
a knife and a gun. The police shooting happened a
few blocks off campus. Our ABC ten is reporter Laura
Acevedo was on scene today where the California Department of
Justice is now in charge of the investigation.

This deadly SDPD shooting happened behind me, just up the street.
We're on Orange Avenue. This is near fifty second Street.
Police have several of these streets blocked off while the
state Department of Justice investigates crime scene tape and police
investigators philled Orange Avenue in City Heights Tuesday morning. The

disruption in the neighborhood not shocking to those who live.

And I looked up and everything was blocked off, so
I wasn't surprised. It's not really the safest neighborhood to

It was just before seven when SDPD says they got
a call of a man sitting at Fay Elementary School
with a gun next to him. The caller reported he
was also armed with a knife. When officers arrived, d
STPD says they found the man off the campus. They
say officers tried to de escalate with beanbags and a canine,

but were unsuccessful. The confrontation ended in a shooting. No
officers were hurt, but the man was shot and killed.

Just like Brandon Flores lives nearby. He says he heard
the shots and initially thought he was dreaming.

The California Department of Justice is in charge of this
shooting investigation, they say because of a state.

According to that law, the state DOJ steps in when
an officer involves shooting ends in the death of an
unarmed person. However, the DOJ didn't specify if that's the
case in Tuesday's shooting. SDPD told us they did recover
a knife and a gun at the scene. Police say
schools did stay open for the day.

Right about zero two thirty hours this morning, our units
responded to the forty three hundred block about the Brook
Lane in reference to a home invasion. Our initial investigation
reveals that the homeowner was asleep. I was awakened by
the sound of glass breaking. The homeowner exititent his bed,

grabbed his weapon and started toward the area where he
hurt the glass breaking. As he approached that area, he
encountered a subject and his home. Gunshots rang out between
the homeowner and the subject. At this time, the subject
is deceased.

Thursday morning, twenty four hours after a man in his forties,
an alleged leader of a highly influential organized crime group
in the city, was shot and killed and two others
said to have been with him also injured. It all
happened here on Wednesday around ten thirty am. This Starbucks
off Highway for forty the area and coffee shop filled

with people.

we have we go there a lot. We're at the
gas station around the area and our kids, my kids,
our kids are always there.

Surveillance video obtained by tave A Nouvel shows what appears
to be two suspects entering the Starbucks and walking right
to the victims. The alleged shooting itself has been blurred,
but the two suspects can then be seen running out
while customers and workers take cover. Haral Ambos the Alou,
also known as Bobby the Greek, is said to have
been the man killed and the alleged target of this shooting.

His identity has not yet been officially released by police.

So what it's telling me there's probably some more people
who helped them to do the to do the job

The certain UK back took over the investigation Wednesday and
say there have been no arrest, but that police are
searching for one or many suspects. Moments after the shooting,
there was a medical team from a neighboring clinic here
that tell City News they went to the scene to
help the injured.

You know, there could have been you know, straight bullets
just hitting. It's such a crowded Starbucks has a lot
of people there in the mornings. They could have hit
anybody like and just witnessing it is scary enough.

Good morning, I'm Annie Crawl. On Sunday, we were learning
more about a car thief the police say was shot
and killed early Saturday morning after trying to break into
a vehicle and was shot by one of the residents nearby. Now,
this all happened in the Boulevard Heights neighborhood around five
am on Saturday morning. Police tell us that one of
the residents saw two people breaking into a car in
(24:18):
the thirty eight hundred block of Tests and Court. They
were armed, and police say one of the residents came
and shot one of the suspects. The other one ran
and fled the scene. Now, all of this is part
of a legal conversation about what that resident was protected
by when it comes to the law. Because one of
the suspects was armed and brandished a weapon, the resident
was legally allowed to try and defend their own life. Now,
(24:41):
if the suspect wasn't armed, there might be murder charges,
but in this case, that is not what happened. Police
are continuing the investigation on what happened with Saturday, and
of course trying to prevent more car break ins from happening.

City Police officers recovering after being shot. Police telling us
the suspect was also shot and has died. Now, this
all happened just in the past couple of hours in

Well, Jeff Ylando, we're here at the corner of Thomas
Avenue and Sheldon Place and this is about as close
as they're allowing us to get to the scene. But
we just got an update from Lieutenant Jason Stern and
he tells us that officer is going.

The suspect is dead now. Officers were called to the
scene here on Louise Court at five point fifteen tonight
for a report of a burglary in progress. The homeowner
told dispatchers they saw a male suspect inside their home
with a gun. When officers arrived, they attempted to order
the suspect to surrender, but in the suspect barricaded himself
(26:38):
inside the home. That's when the Grove City Strategic Response
Team responded. Just over three hours later, the suspect took
off from the home on foot. After a foot pursuit,
the suspect fired at officers, hitting one of them. Several
officers fired back, hitting the suspect. Both were taken to
the hospital. The officer is in stable condition at this time,
(27:00):
and the suspect did not survive. Lieutenant Stern says they
are not releasing any identities at this time, but the
suspect is believed to be an adult male. Police do
not believe anyone else was involved. Here's more on what
Lieutenant Stern had to say.

involved in law enforcement. I am beyond thankful that no
one in our community was injured or hurt. I'm very

or security camera footage from this incident, or any information

civilians because it's a military rifle.

A suspect who police say was firing an assault rifle
in Northeast Houston neighborhood is now dead after being shot
by police this morning. This was near Hartwick Road in
Maple Leaf Street. KPRC two news reporter Ricky Muno's was
at the scene this morning.
Speaker 28 (28:24):
We're sending right in front of the fifty eight hundred
block of Heartwick and you can see behind me. The
scene is still very active now. Police say a man
opened fire with an AR fifteen style rifle before being
shot and killed by officers. Investigators say around eight this morning,
neighbors called nine one one reporting gunfire in the street.
Three officers from HPD's Northeast Division arrived and confronted a
(28:46):
twenty nine year old Hispanic man.

Holding a rifle.
Speaker 28 (28:49):
Police say he ignored commands, who dropped the weapon and
engaged with officers. Two of the three officers fired several rounds.
The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say
showcasings were found nearby, confirming the man had fired before
officers arrived. No one else was injured, and police believe
there's no ongoing threat to the community who do.

the man who officers say they were forced to shoot
and killing Panela's Park. This happened over the weekend. This
was at home on eighty second Avenue North. The Panellas
County Sheriff's office says Panella's Park officers responded to the
short term rental when the renter didn't leave at checkout time.

They say that man came to the door with the
knife when officers got there. This happened around eleven thirty
Sunday morning. Sheriff Bob Waltierre says it started a two
hour long standoff. Police made forty attempts to get him
to leave, but they say he refused.

The person who was inside, who is a male, came
to the front door and had a knife in his hand.
And when he came to the front door and became
very very confrontational with the officers.

The sheriff says officers first tried less than lethal force
and repeatedly told him to drop the knife. They say,
in Steady charged at officers, slashing a corporal in the
shoulder before another officer shot and killed him. Man died
at the hospital. Walterieri says the officer who was injured
is doing just fine this morning.

A woman was found dead after Sugar Lean police say
a man she was in a relationship with shot and
