Speaker 1 (00:00):
So I heard you talk about your trip and everything
else since, but I never heard you admit at what
point in the trip did you realize that your heydays
were over.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
I'm sure your grand order filled you in.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
On that one.

Speaker 4 (00:15):
Some point I just had to ask.

Speaker 5 (00:18):
Oh, and thanks for the advice about Chick fil.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
A, I went to Burger King instead last night.

Speaker 6 (00:23):
Have a good one, guys.

Speaker 4 (00:24):
Caution you were about to experience the taxpayer relief shot
segment on the situation with Michael Brown. Caution you were
about to experience the taxpayer relief shot segment on the
situation with Michael Brown. We do not necessarily relish the
death of any criminal, but we do celebrate our God
given and constitutional right to self defense in the event

(00:46):
that the criminal becomes DRT. The taxpayers spared the cost
of public defenders, court costs, incarceration, and continued parole supervision.
As the Sheriff of Santa Rosa County, Florida says in
audio here, or Sheriff Grady of Pope County says insert
audio here, you have been warned listen at your own risks.

Speaker 6 (01:11):
Mike.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
We do call these taxpayer relief shots because somebody's breaking
in your house here, more than welcome to shoot them
in center's accounting.

Speaker 6 (01:19):
We prefer that you do.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Actually, hopefully you'll save the taxpayers money.

Speaker 7 (01:22):
Look at that you're using the program correctly this week.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
And as you know, a whole we when we loaded
these this morning, we checked to see if the program
was working correctly and it was. So today it's just
a good day. So we still play some bets as
to whether or not there's going to be a double
click issue. Oh no, there will be a double click issue,
I'm sure because the minute I move this mouse, it's
going to do something and that'll be.

Speaker 6 (01:48):
A blame the mouse. Yes, I blame the mouse.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Let's see, let's do where's my Yeah? I love this PSA.

Speaker 6 (02:01):
Hi everyone.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Recently, lady called nine one one here in Penell County
because someone was breaking into her house.

Speaker 5 (02:07):
There's some guy.

Speaker 6 (02:08):
He came to my door, but he went into my
neighbor's house.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
This dispatcher gave excellent advice. I'd like you to take
a moment and listen to it. He came into my garage.

Speaker 8 (02:17):
He's trying to get my back door.

Speaker 9 (02:18):
Okay, lock your doors, keep them all locked.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Do you have a firearm?

Speaker 10 (02:21):
With you.

Speaker 11 (02:22):
I do.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
He's in my garage.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
He's trying to get in.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Go get that firearm.

Speaker 12 (02:26):
I haven't done off here.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
You Lea's in the While the incident was still going on,
sergeant was monitoring the radio traffic, and this is his
direction that he gave if.

Speaker 12 (02:39):
RP, if the subject's trying to get in the house,
down the right to use force.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
I couldn't be more in agreement with what the direction
of my dispatcher gave and what the sergeant gave.

Speaker 6 (02:48):
Over the radio.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Remember, if you want personal protection, buy a gun, learn
how to use it, learn when you can use it.
I'm sure Iff Ross people and I approve of this message.

Speaker 6 (02:56):
I approved that message too.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
But to show you how there's such a difference of
cultural divide when it comes to self defense, let's go
to Canada.

Speaker 10 (03:07):
In the unlikely event that you find yourself the victim
of a home invasion, we are urging citizens not to
take matters into their own hands. We urge you to
call nine one one and do everything you can to
keep yourself and loved ones safe until police arrive.

Speaker 6 (03:20):
And be the best witness possible.

Speaker 10 (03:23):
This could mean locking yourself in a room away from
the perpetrators hiding fleeing the home, but don't engage unless
absolutely necessary. As it stands, Yeah, they're breaking into your home.

Speaker 6 (03:35):
They have guns.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
His advice is go hide in the closet somewhere because
they'll never think to look in the closet.

Speaker 6 (03:44):
What a dumb ass.

Speaker 10 (03:46):
We know, the best defense for most people is to comply.
As you've just heard, a number of safety recommendations.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
Will allow for those.

Speaker 10 (03:59):
That are victimizing members in the community to leave and
not harm anyone. And my advice is to rer on
our place service called nine one one immediately and let
us take it from there. And we see.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Our advice is to call nine one one and let
us take it from there, and we'll do so in oh,
I don't know, five, ten, fifteen minutes, you know, after
they found you in the closet.

Speaker 10 (04:29):
More often than not, when people comply that you know,
the injuries are not are not.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
More often than not, he so badly wants to say
that the bad guy will live.

Speaker 10 (04:45):
Yes, happening and people are not victimized in terms of
injury or in this case, unfortunately, we've seen the loss
of life in some of these incidents.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
What a what a total dumb mouse. Uh, let's see,
we'll do a couple of Jeff Grady. Oh, I like
this one.

Speaker 13 (05:10):
He asked to be shot, he demanded to be shot,
and then he forced us to shoot him.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
So we obliged him, and we obliged him. So so
what should you do?

Speaker 13 (05:21):
You should don't attack my deputies. Don't try to stab
or shoot my deputies, because if you do, we're gonna
shoot you a lot.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
We're gonna shoot you a lot loser. So this is
the taxpayer relief segment of a situation with Michael Brown,
which apparently some people don't like, which but more love
it than dislike it. So let's uh, dragon, let's catch up,
or catch up, ketch up, or catch him.

Speaker 6 (05:55):
Let's catch up.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
By going to the ones from that we have held
over from September. Okay, that's where I'm going to start.
So we'll start with the former employee kills himself after to.

Speaker 14 (06:07):
Developing news this afternoon police in Riverside investigating his shooting
at a tow yard.

Speaker 12 (06:12):
Yeah, I'm an editor, Mike Rodgers is at the desk
with what police are saying this afternoon?

Speaker 14 (06:16):
My head, Yeah, you don't want to name loss the
sort out here. We just spoke with a representative from
the Riverside Police Department. They say that the person the
alleged shooter is a former employee up until very recently,
so they're trying to figure out if this is going
to be a workplace violence type of thing.

Speaker 6 (06:28):
I want to take you now live though to live pictures.

Speaker 14 (06:30):
Our photographer Gus there on the ground providing this to
The crime scene is still active at this hour.

Speaker 6 (06:35):
The Riverside Police.

Speaker 14 (06:36):
Department telling us they've got a long investigation into this.
Part of the problem here is that after the alleged
suspect shot a woman in the parking lot, he then
turned the gun on himself. He died as a result
of the shooting. The woman now in critical condition. I
want to show you some video from a bit earlier
here when this was all going down Skycow overhead. You
see the man's body there between the cars. We also
saw the trunk on an suv opened up with a

(06:57):
vacuum and some other would appear to be cleaning supplies
sitting out behind it. It's unclear if that is the
victim's car, but we believe it was later towed away
from the scene. There is the suspect now dead after
a self inflicted gunshot wound. So the Riverside Police Department
tells us they're trying to figure out what caused all this,
what the motivation was, if the suspect and the victim
had any connection to each other outside of the workplace.
And again they're saying that the suspect in this case

(07:19):
did recently work at that towyard. Obviously the circumstances surrounding
his departure from that are under investigation.

Speaker 15 (07:25):
One.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
So you shoot a woman at the tow yard and
then you off yourself, we call those self imposed taxpayer
relief shots.

Speaker 7 (07:35):
Thank you, you're welcome.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
This one's international. Please shoot and kill a marked no
mask fifteen year old.

Speaker 16 (07:45):
Friends and family have been leaving flowers and candles in
the spot where Neuron Rizai was shot. With the fifteen
year old's death is left behind this disbelief.

Speaker 6 (07:55):
And questions said the young.

Speaker 16 (07:59):
This man says wasn't a bad kid and that he
doesn't understand what happened. Quebec's Police Oversight Agency is confirming
some details. The head of the agency says it started
with multiple nine to one one calls Sunday afternoon. There
were reports a group of masked and armed people were
moving through the neighborhood. Police arrived ten minutes after the

(08:21):
first call, and the shooting, according to witnesses, happened quickly.
This is video of officers providing first aid before paramedics arrived.
The police watchdog group says it's recovered seven videos from
the scene and one firearm.

Speaker 4 (08:36):
In the object that we seize the gun the gun
that was.

Speaker 6 (08:41):
Used by the police officer. Now.

Speaker 16 (08:43):
Police also recovered a backpack, a baseball bat, and ski masks.
Why the ski masks? While some witnesses have said the
group was planning on shooting a video nearby, she would
have just be Nern's father says he wants justice for
his baby and then what happened? Does it makes sense?
This family friend says he's been told that when police
showed up, the group ran away. Neran was for some

(09:07):
reason shot twice. The family's lawyer says, after the shooting
of an unarmed teen, well, gay police can expect a lawsuit.

Speaker 11 (09:16):
You can be assured if it was armed in any capacity,
that's the first thing that would have been drawn up
into public.

Speaker 6 (09:24):
But it hands nuts.

Speaker 16 (09:25):
Investigators have so far spoken to fifteen people who were
on the scene. Logay Police confirmed the officer involved has
been placed on leave. Mike Armstrung, Global News Longay Quebec
que back.

Speaker 6 (09:40):
I'm trying to think if I can figure some tie
back to that sheriff.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
But yeah, Listene, no, this is local Popo shoot and
killed a seventeen year old who had threatened Can.

Speaker 12 (09:51):
We start with that breaking news tonight police say they
shot somebody after responding to a call about a man
who is threatening to shoot up a gas station.

Speaker 17 (09:57):
Does happened your East Alameda Avenue in South Bana Street.
Nine ISH reporter Shalima Maharaj is there in Schelima. We
just heard from Aurora Police Chief Top Chamberlain just moments
ago updating us on what they know so far.

Speaker 15 (10:09):
Thank you.

Speaker 12 (10:10):
Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 18 (10:11):
A lot of details to unpack here. They told us
that the seventeen year old who was shot by police
has since been declared deceased. This would have happened at
some point en route to hospital.

Speaker 12 (10:22):
I want to step out.

Speaker 18 (10:23):
Of the way to show you the scene. This all
happened over at the Conico gas station. Police were called here.
They were a nine one one officer or operator rather
had received a call that someone in the area was
planning to shoot out the area and the business that
was the suspect of police. And then moments later, the
owner of the business actually phoned back saying that he
had locked himself inside of the business because he was fearful.

(10:47):
And then officers ended up getting here within minutes. They
came out with a few weapons with them, a rifle,
a pistol, and a forty millimeter and that fires foam rounds. Now,
they did go around the corner and they say that
the person was there with their hands concealed. They say
that despite being told numerous times, let me see your hands,

(11:08):
he moved towards officers and that's when they fired those
foam rounds. They say that that didn't stop him, but
he continued to come for officers and that is when
a pistol was fired. Now, this is going to be
investigated what transpired here. We are just waiting to get
more details on exactly what prompted that officer to fire
that pistol. We did ask about that frame of thought,

(11:31):
the mindset, and of course the chief was saying that
that is all going to be part of the investigation.
That takes place from here. At the scene, there are
a number of officers, including officers from outside of this area.
They of course, are all going to play a role
in the investigation. Right now, they are appealing to the
public asking that if anybody does have any video, if

(11:51):
they happen to witness anything that took place here, they
are hoping to hear from them.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
Now.

Speaker 18 (11:56):
As for the business owner, what we are told is
that that business owner was taken to police headquarters and
is being interviewed.

Speaker 15 (12:03):
Again.

Speaker 18 (12:04):
The owner is all right, No officers were injured here.
But again they are saying that a seventeen year old
and that is the age that they believe this suspect
to be, has passed away since so that is the
latest from the scene. Of course, once we have more
information to bring that to you we will, but for
now send it back to you in studio.

Speaker 3 (12:22):
All right, let's see Popo shoot and killed an armed
man near elementary school.

Speaker 15 (12:30):
A man was shot and killed by San Diego police
this morning in City Heights. Police say a man on
the campus of an elementary school was reportedly armed with
a knife and a gun. The police shooting happened a
few blocks off campus. Our ABC ten is reporter Laura
Acevedo was on scene today where the California Department of
Justice is now in charge of the investigation.

Speaker 12 (12:51):
This deadly SDPD shooting happened behind me, just up the street.
We're on Orange Avenue. This is near fifty second Street.
Police have several of these streets blocked off while the
state Department of Justice investigates crime scene tape and police
investigators philled Orange Avenue in City Heights Tuesday morning. The

(13:11):
disruption in the neighborhood not shocking to those who live.

Speaker 11 (13:15):
In the area.

Speaker 19 (13:16):
And I looked up and everything was blocked off, so
I wasn't surprised. It's not really the safest neighborhood to
grow up on.

Speaker 12 (13:23):
It was just before seven when SDPD says they got
a call of a man sitting at Fay Elementary School
with a gun next to him. The caller reported he
was also armed with a knife. When officers arrived, d
STPD says they found the man off the campus. They
say officers tried to de escalate with beanbags and a canine,

(13:44):
but were unsuccessful. The confrontation ended in a shooting. No
officers were hurt, but the man was shot and killed.

Speaker 7 (13:53):
I'm just like starting to wake up and everything, so I'm.

Speaker 12 (13:55):
Just like Brandon Flores lives nearby. He says he heard
the shots and initially thought he was dreaming.

Speaker 7 (14:03):
It was kind of like a lot. It was like
a Barrah and then a Parrah, and then I did
hear like I did hear some screams.

Speaker 12 (14:09):
The California Department of Justice is in charge of this
shooting investigation, they say because of a state.

Speaker 4 (14:16):
Law called AB.

Speaker 7 (14:17):
Fifteen oh six.

Speaker 12 (14:18):
According to that law, the state DOJ steps in when
an officer involves shooting ends in the death of an
unarmed person. However, the DOJ didn't specify if that's the
case in Tuesday's shooting. SDPD told us they did recover
a knife and a gun at the scene. Police say
schools did stay open for the day.

Speaker 19 (14:39):
There's a lot of families that grew up here, so
it's just unfortunate. And we have elementary Score right there,
so it's.

Speaker 12 (14:46):
A bunch of kids everywhere in City Heights. Laura Savethel
ABC ten News.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
All right, now, let's get to scroll up here. A
couple of award winners. Homeowner exchanges gunfire with an armed invader.
What say you share from Canada.

Speaker 20 (15:08):
Right about zero two thirty hours this morning, our units
responded to the forty three hundred block about the Brook
Lane in reference to a home invasion. Our initial investigation
reveals that the homeowner was asleep. I was awakened by
the sound of glass breaking. The homeowner exititent his bed,

(15:29):
grabbed his weapon and started toward the area where he
hurt the glass breaking. As he approached that area, he
encountered a subject and his home. Gunshots rang out between
the homeowner and the subject. At this time, the subject
is deceased.

Speaker 6 (15:45):
One singing, So the person who broke in died correct?

Speaker 9 (15:51):
No one else involved those two At.

Speaker 20 (15:53):
This point, I cannot confirm if there's more than one
individual at this time, this investigation is ongoing.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
You suspect arm.

Speaker 20 (16:00):
I do not know the answer to that question at this.

Speaker 21 (16:02):
Time, So you don't know if there was a change
of a gun part.

Speaker 20 (16:06):
That wasn't exchange of gunfire. But of course I cannot
determine or do not know. I have the information if
a weapon has been recovered on scene from the perpetrate
at this time, how was the homeowner?

Speaker 6 (16:18):
Is he he injured?

Speaker 20 (16:18):
What is the homeowner is okay. He received a superficial
injury to his hand as he escaped his residence after
the encounter.

Speaker 22 (16:27):
Does he have a family?

Speaker 15 (16:29):
Was he the only one in the house.

Speaker 20 (16:30):
I believe he was the only one in the house.

Speaker 22 (16:34):
Do you believe this was a random breaking or targeted?

Speaker 15 (16:38):
Uh?

Speaker 20 (16:38):
At this point, I cannot uh confirm whether it was
targeted or or isolated.

Speaker 14 (16:44):
Can you tell us a little bit about was Swatt.

Speaker 7 (16:45):
Was on the scene.

Speaker 20 (16:46):
Swatt was called in to clear the home to ensure
that no one else was inside.

Speaker 6 (16:51):
Of that home.

Speaker 9 (16:52):
What about animal control?

Speaker 20 (16:54):
I believe there is a I believe there was an
animal owned scene or the I I do correction, there
is an animal on scene. Animal control was called in
to take possession of the K.

Speaker 6 (17:04):
Nine on scene. Is that the homeowners dog?

Speaker 20 (17:07):
It is the homeowner's dog, yes or something? No, the dog.

Speaker 6 (17:12):
Is not injured.

Speaker 5 (17:13):
Why are they taking it away?

Speaker 20 (17:15):
They're just that is they're securing the dog so that
Swat could make entry and clear the home.

Speaker 7 (17:25):
Thank you, look at your knowledge? For anybody else, no, ma'am.

Speaker 20 (17:29):
At just at this point the investigation is ongoing. I
can't determine or confirm if there was more than one beniditional.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
That was interesting about the dog. I was wondering the
same thing, Why why are you taking the doll? Must
be a big dog German shepard. Yes, must be a
big dog there, you know they and they do. They
want to be able to walk through the house without
you know, the dog. You know, maybe maybe maybe it's
a uaa. You want the dog out of there? And

(17:58):
then Google number forty four to sixty seven and wants
to know and the answer is no, Michael, Will we
ever hear the stories about how the quote hide in
the closet close quote strategy didn't work? No, because they
want you to hide in the closet. They don't want you. Actually,
they're detecting yourselves. Let's see, we don't have time for

(18:20):
that one. And we don't have time for that one.
So well, and there's the music. Anyway, when we get back,
we have another award winner, an organized crime boss fascinated
by rivals.

Speaker 23 (18:36):
Hey, guys, how about some kiss in honor of Ace Freely?

Speaker 3 (18:43):
Nay, No, not gonna happen. Gee, you're like Karnak the Great,
an award winner. We're doing taxpayer relief shots and of course,
let's see, we need to do a here. Let's do
this public service announcement from a Colorado sheriff.

Speaker 24 (19:08):
This is Weld County Sheriff Steve Reems, and I want
to encourage the people of Colorado to remember you still
have the right to defend yourself, no matter how much
of a mess this state has become. While the Democrats
and the legislature and the governor of the state have
created as many barriers as they can to make it
difficult for you to own and carry a gun for
your protection, you still have your Second Amendment rights. The
Democrat controlled legislature and Governor Polis also tell us that

(19:30):
crime isn't out of control, but we all know that's
not true. In Weld County, I encourage every citizen to
have an investment in their own safety. You should own
a gun and know how to use it. If someone
wants to break into your home and threaten your family,
they should meet the serious end of a firearm. The
best way to end the spread of crime is to
ensure the criminal is no longer part of the equation.
As the Sheriff of Weald County, remember this. We love

(19:50):
our guns in Weld County and we don't like criminals
what's the.

Speaker 3 (19:55):
Serious end of a gun? Or more I guess more appropriate,
what's the unserious end of a gun? Because you know
you can always grab it by the barrel and beat
him with them. Such I'm an awful individual. Let's see
this one was the international one. It's marked an award winner.

(20:18):
We'll be the judge of that. An organized crime boss
assassinated by rivals.

Speaker 4 (20:25):
I was really shocked, honestly, really really really shocked.

Speaker 23 (20:29):
Police were still on the scene here.

Speaker 6 (20:30):
Wait minute, you think she was shocked? Really really I.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
Was really shocked, honestly, really really really shocked.

Speaker 23 (20:38):
Police were still on the scene here in Lavelle on
Thursday morning, twenty four hours after a man in his forties,
an alleged leader of a highly influential organized crime group
in the city, was shot and killed and two others
said to have been with him also injured. It all
happened here on Wednesday around ten thirty am. This Starbucks
off Highway for forty the area and coffee shop filled

(21:00):
with people.

Speaker 5 (21:00):
Yeah, it's a little scary hit close to home, you know,
we have we go there a lot. We're at the
gas station around the area and our kids, my kids,
our kids are always there.

Speaker 25 (21:12):
I live like.

Speaker 19 (21:13):
Right next to it, so I'm like, obviously I go
to Starbucks are really often, so I was really really scared.

Speaker 7 (21:21):
We music, So.

Speaker 23 (21:24):
I mean him, my concerns are rather minimal, given that
I don't come into contact with these people and I
don't know them.

Speaker 4 (21:31):
This is a little shocking, you know.

Speaker 10 (21:33):
I mean, the world's got absolutely mad right now, so
we're we're not safe anywhere, to be honest with you.

Speaker 23 (21:39):
Surveillance video obtained by tave A Nouvel shows what appears
to be two suspects entering the Starbucks and walking right
to the victims. The alleged shooting itself has been blurred,
but the two suspects can then be seen running out
while customers and workers take cover. Haral Ambos the Alou,
also known as Bobby the Greek, is said to have
been the man killed and the alleged target of this shooting.

(22:01):
His identity has not yet been officially released by police.

Speaker 6 (22:04):
I saw two.

Speaker 25 (22:05):
Guys came in, you know, very quickly, they won the
right place, they did their job, and then went out.
So what it's telling me there's probably some more people
who helped them to do the to do the job
because you know, the victim, the main victim in the
in the shooting, was aware that his life was threatened

(22:28):
by someone else.

Speaker 23 (22:29):
The certain UK back took over the investigation Wednesday and
say there have been no arrest, but that police are
searching for one or many suspects. Moments after the shooting,
there was a medical team from a neighboring clinic here
that tell City News they went to the scene to
help the injured.

Speaker 5 (22:45):
You know, there could have been you know, straight bullets
just hitting. It's such a crowded Starbucks has a lot
of people there in the mornings. They could have hit
anybody like and just witnessing it is scary enough.

Speaker 25 (22:57):
Could be the bikers, could be the mafia, could be
the uh, someone inside the organization. But now you know
certain Quebec have a command post and leaval and they
are you know, taking any clue and information. It's a big,
very large job, you know, to try to resolve this case.

Speaker 23 (23:16):
In lovel Gareth Madal Jones City News, Right.

Speaker 6 (23:21):
You My response to that one is that's pretty dango attacker.
Hr right.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
There, no, no, no, no, because it occurred in Canada
in Quebec. That mobster should have just hidden in the
closet of the bathroom at the Starbucks.

Speaker 6 (23:37):
Good grief, that's all you had to do and you'd
still be alive.

Speaker 7 (23:40):
Obey your attackers commands.

Speaker 3 (23:43):
By your attackers commands, come bathroom right now. You think
they say that, You think they just blow their Tommy
guns right through the bathroom. Another ward winner or resident
confronts armed car thieves.

Speaker 9 (23:58):
Good morning, I'm Annie Crawl. On Sunday, we were learning
more about a car thief the police say was shot
and killed early Saturday morning after trying to break into
a vehicle and was shot by one of the residents nearby. Now,
this all happened in the Boulevard Heights neighborhood around five
am on Saturday morning. Police tell us that one of
the residents saw two people breaking into a car in

(24:18):
the thirty eight hundred block of Tests and Court. They
were armed, and police say one of the residents came
and shot one of the suspects. The other one ran
and fled the scene. Now, all of this is part
of a legal conversation about what that resident was protected
by when it comes to the law. Because one of
the suspects was armed and brandished a weapon, the resident
was legally allowed to try and defend their own life. Now,

(24:41):
if the suspect wasn't armed, there might be murder charges,
but in this case, that is not what happened. Police
are continuing the investigation on what happened with Saturday, and
of course trying to prevent more car break ins from happening.
So if you have any information, you're asked to call
crime Stoppers at the number eight six six three seven
to one tips.

Speaker 6 (24:59):
I generally agree with that legal advice.

Speaker 3 (25:02):
If someone was just breaking into a car, was not
brandishing a gun, then yeah, you probably should not shoot them. No,
in fact, I would say you should not shoot them. However,
there are also other circumstances in which you could shoot
them and they're not brandishing a gun. You got a
kid in the car, your kids in the back seat,
in the car seat, Yeah, blow them away, all right.

(25:24):
Let's see a fleeing suspect shoots and wounds the Popo.

Speaker 26 (25:30):
And TENTV begins with breaking news this evening. Let's take

as they're allowing us to get to the scene. But
we just got an update from Lieutenant Jason Stern and
he tells us that officer is going.

Speaker 18 (26:16):
To be okay and.

Speaker 22 (26:17):
The suspect is dead now. Officers were called to the
scene here on Louise Court at five point fifteen tonight
for a report of a burglary in progress. The homeowner
told dispatchers they saw a male suspect inside their home
with a gun. When officers arrived, they attempted to order
the suspect to surrender, but in the suspect barricaded himself

(26:38):
inside the home. That's when the Grove City Strategic Response
Team responded. Just over three hours later, the suspect took
off from the home on foot. After a foot pursuit,
the suspect fired at officers, hitting one of them. Several
officers fired back, hitting the suspect. Both were taken to
the hospital. The officer is in stable condition at this time,

(27:00):
and the suspect did not survive. Lieutenant Stern says they
are not releasing any identities at this time, but the
suspect is believed to be an adult male. Police do
not believe anyone else was involved. Here's more on what
Lieutenant Stern had to say.

Speaker 27 (27:15):
No, you don't have to watch the news for too
long to understand the dangers and the threats that are
involved in law enforcement. I am beyond thankful that no
one in our community was injured or hurt. I'm very
blessed that they also are involved.

Speaker 6 (27:28):
Is stable.

Speaker 27 (27:31):
These things happen so fast it could have been could
have been a lot worse.

Speaker 22 (27:38):

or security camera footage from this incident, or any information
that they may have seen to contact police, and BCI
is also investigating. Live in Grove City. Carly Dion ten

Police say he ignored commands, who dropped the weapon and
engaged with officers. Two of the three officers fired several rounds.

But this morning we're waiting to learn the name of
the man who officers say they were forced to shoot

was at home on eighty second Avenue North. The Panellas
County Sheriff's office says Panella's Park officers responded to the
