Speaker 1 (00:00):
So Michael, I'm also one of the mash casualties from
this government shut down. I died also. So you wanted
the details. Here's what was happening. So we went out
to Las Vegas. We wanted to go to the Sphere
because they got this like Wizard of Oz thing going on.
And so we're walking down the strip going out towards
the Sphere, and so we grabbed this a broom. It's
(00:20):
kind of a smaller room, not a huge room. And
then we also saw this sombrero and as we were
walking into the place.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
What happened was.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
Caution you were about to experience with a tax payer
relief shot segment on the situation with Michael Brown. Caution
you were about to experience the tax payer relief shot
segment on the situation with Michael Brown. We do not
necessarily relish the death of any criminal, but we do
celebrate our god given and constitutional right to self defense
(00:51):
in the event that the criminal becomes DRT. The taxpayers
spared the cost of public defenders, court costs, incarceration, and
continued Pearl supervision. As the Sheriff of Santa Rossa County,
Florida says insert audio here or Sheriff Grady of Polk
County says, insert audio here. You have been warned. Listen
(01:15):
at your own risks.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
Mike, Okay, this Friday, this time for taxpayer relief shots.
We call them taxpayer relief shots primarily because somebody's breaking
in your house here, more than welcome to shoot them.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
In Santaoise accounting, we prefer that you do actually hopefully
you'll save the taxpayers money.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
Or as the sheriff also says, I would.
Speaker 5 (01:35):
Tell them, if you value your life, you probably shouldn't
do that. In Polk County because the people of Polk
County like guns.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
They have guns.
Speaker 5 (01:42):
I encourage them to own guns, and they're going to
be in their homes tonight with their guns loaded. And
if you try to break into their homes to steal
to set fires, I'm highly recommending they blow you back
out of the house with your guns. So leave the
community alone.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Leave them alone. And if you don't leave them alone,
guess what.
Speaker 6 (02:00):
I would highly suggest that if a looter breaks into
your home, comes into your home while you're there to
steal stuff, that you take your gun and you shoot him.
You shoot him so that he looks like grated cheese.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
Because you know what.
Speaker 6 (02:14):
That's one leader that won't break into anyone else's home.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
And if you asked to be shot, he asked to
be shot.
Speaker 7 (02:22):
He demanded to be shot, and then he forced us
to shoot him.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
So we obliged him. We obliged him. If you don't
want to get shot, don't ask, and.
Speaker 7 (02:32):
Don't attack my deputies. Don't try to stab or shoot
my deputies, because if you do, we're going to shoot
you a lot.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
I love these guys. Okay, let's get started. As you know,
I don't listen to these Dragon puts them in. They
come to us from Newark, New Jersey, from Newark International Airport,
and we just go through him as a appear on
the list. Homeowner shoots and kills an intruder.
Speaker 5 (03:07):
Burg Progress is own two.
Speaker 8 (03:09):
Caller viz her house is being robbed.
Speaker 9 (03:12):
Caller advised that she has shot that mail and he
is currently playing on the ground.
Speaker 10 (03:18):
What you just heard there was scanner traffic audio from
a home burglary. It's turned deadly in Decatur Sunday night.
Now the man who has been shot and killed is
now identified, and Fox Before has learn he has a
previous criminal record. Bergen County coroner Jeff Chun identified the
man as forty six year old at Otto Brinkley. Police
found Brinkley dead at the scene when they were called
(03:38):
on the twelve hundred block of twenty second Avenue around
seven Sunday night. Brinkley died at the scene. State record
show Brinkley had served time for several different offenses, including
burglary and robbery, among other charges. The alleged shooter cooperated
with investigators and was released with no charges at this time.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
At this time, but shouldn't be any charge it all,
and of course repeat offender. I'm not shocked this is
not yet fatal, although maybe by the day it is.
A store owner is involved in this one.
Speaker 11 (04:13):
Only on nine a family says a man who robbed
their store at gunpoint, threatened them, then came back. So
that's when they say the store owner took matters into
his own hands to stop it. But they say that
is the sound of him shooting at one suspect shooting
(04:37):
one suspect in the foot. Cleveland County reporter Ken Lemon
talk to the family. They say they are still afraid
and can they have since learned the gun the suspect had.
Speaker 12 (04:47):
It was a toy, and this family tells us that
when you're staring down a barrel of toy looks real.
The husband here says that they were wrapped at this
store just three weeks ago, so so he went out,
he got a gun. He sat in this parking lot
every night, and then he says, on Friday night, is
that one moment when he saw one man's face. Those
(05:14):
gunshots Friday night came from the store owner, who says
he was scared and felt like he had no choice
after a robbery at his store.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
He asked us not to show his face or use
his name, hiding way or nothing.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
I started shooting, he said.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
He shot the suspect in the foot.
Speaker 12 (05:30):
That man managed to get in the car, hit another car,
and drive off, only to be captured by Cleveland County.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
Sheriff's deputies after a chase.
Speaker 12 (05:39):
One of the suspects seen racking his gun as he
entered the Mexican restaurant Elwakau and Shelby three weeks ago.
The owner says they rob him in the back office
and his wife and co owner at the register, taking
eighty six thousand dollars. She spoke to us with hope
from our sister's station Telemundo Charlotte.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
Terrifying moments for me and my family.
Speaker 12 (05:59):
The victims say the men threatened him.
Speaker 13 (06:00):
Yeah, I caught up police or do anything that's gonna
come in and trying to kill me, or do something
or here to my family.
Speaker 12 (06:08):
Chefs and biscuit to say that suspect is Nixon, Eduardo
Garcia Carrido, please say you had a toy gun.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
Now he's facing deportation, he.
Speaker 14 (06:16):
Gets sent back and doesn't face anything.
Speaker 15 (06:18):
There's nothing stopping him trying to come back here.
Speaker 12 (06:23):
I'm very worried about that one man who also got
away Friday night, the few that he may come back here.
They believe they may have been part of the group
that threatened him three weeks ago. Love and Shelby, I'm
Ken Lemon Channel Nada with his ns Ken, thank you.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
I'd be worried about that too, and I'm certainly not
going to criticize them for not having been able to
cause them to be DRT. By the way, somebody on
ex Dragon sent me a photo of an ambulance in
the name of the Ambulance Service. DRT another award winner,
(06:57):
but yet again not yet fatal.
Speaker 15 (07:00):
Well as we shared at the top of our show.
It's been a violent night across Indianapolis's police have responded
to at least three shooting scenes since eleven thirty last night.
Speaker 16 (07:08):
And we know three people have been shot on Minnesota Street,
this is near Keystone, and a woman was shot and
killed on John J. Drive near thirty eighth in Mitdhoffer.
But we want to begin this morning at truck Tuck
Court where officers were called there around four point thirty
this morning.
Speaker 15 (07:27):
Marina Silva has been at that scene for about an hour.
I know you've been working to get some more information
about the apartment or town home complex that this is in.
What can you share with us?
Speaker 17 (07:38):
Yeah, we've been here, like you said, about an hour,
and actually just within the last five minutes, I saw
multiple police officers actually come and bring out evidence bags
and put it into a vehicle. So we know that
they are still investigating right now. We do know one
man was shot in the head. He is at a
hospital in a critical condition right now. They are speaking
with another man. They do believe this is a possible
(08:00):
home invasion. As they're still working to investigates, I'm gonna
show you a little bit about what we're seeing right now,
there's multiple police vehicles here.
Speaker 18 (08:08):
Now.
Speaker 17 (08:08):
Earlier we did see a man in handcuffs. He was
put in the back of a car. We are told
that that standard protocol anytime that they are doing an
investigation like this. They do believe that it's just those
two men involved. They're still investigating, as I said, but
I actually just spoke with someone who lives in the
apartment complex. They did not want to go on camera,
(08:28):
but they said this specific part is actually pretty quiet.
It's actually in later parts of the complex where they're
seeing several police vehicles pretty often, and police stick confirm
that that they've been to this specific complex multiple times
for shooting investigations. We are actually at the Nole Ridge
(08:49):
Townhomes complex.
Speaker 15 (08:50):
Thank you, Marenne. I just just want to clarify for
a quick second, because at the top of the show,
we did see what you just share, and we saw
a person that was being put in handcuffs, and you
said that that person's being detained. They've not announced any
arrests in this specific case just yet, have they.
Speaker 17 (09:04):
They have not announced any arrest so as far as that,
that's just standard protocol anytime they're talking to someone they
have to transport to talk to somebody. They do put
them in handcuffs in the vehicle. So we don't know
if that person is a suspect. We don't know if
that person is a person of interest. That's still under
investigation right now.
Speaker 15 (09:20):
All right, I know you'll be continue to gather information
and share it with us. In just a bit, Thank you, Marina.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
She's him in the head and still not failure yet.
A fleeing suspect guilled.
Speaker 19 (09:33):
Winwanie Police say one person died after crashing into a viaduct.
A polease say they got a call around eight forty
five last sight for a welfare check. Officers located the
man driving on the eight hundred block of Northeast Street
and try to get him to stop.
Speaker 20 (09:49):
Police say the man drove off. Officers went after him
but ended in the pursuit moments later. They saw the
man again about an hour later and tried to stop
him again. Police say he took off again. They got
a call a few minutes later about a vehicle hitting
the viaduct. Emergency crews went out and found a man
dead at the scene.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
Sometimes it just takes care of itself. International homeowner takes
advice of sheriff and flees his home as intruder proceeds
to set it on fire. Do you know where this
is from? Dragon? Do you remember this one?
Speaker 21 (10:25):
It's I don't remember the exact location, but it is
a Canadian whatever. Yeah, remember that sheriff. You'll probably play
that clip a little bit later. But yeah, what clip.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
About a ship? We certainly don't have a sheriff that
would recommend that somebody flee, do we we something like that?
Any talking about this in.
Speaker 22 (10:46):
The unlikely event that you find yourself the victim of
a home invasion, we are urging citizens not to take
matters into their own hands. We urge you to call
nine one one and do everything you can to keep
yourself and love one safe until police arrived, and be
the best witness possible. This could mean locking yourself in
a room away from the perpetrators, hiding, fleeing the home,
(11:07):
but don't engage unless absolutely necessary. As it stands, we
know the best defense for most people is to comply.
As you've just heard, a number of safety recommendations will
allow for those that are victimizing members in the community
(11:28):
to leave and not harm anyone.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
And my advice is to rerly.
Speaker 22 (11:35):
On our place service called nine one one immediately and
let us take it from there. And we see more
often than not when people comply that, you know, the
injuries are not happening, and people are not victimized in
terms of injury or in this case, unfortunately, we've seen
(11:58):
the loss of life in some of these insigns.
Speaker 21 (12:00):
Oh but you have seen loss of Look aka, the
bad guy gets to walk away and do it again.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
Yes, so let's think about that advice, and now let's
listen to this.
Speaker 23 (12:12):
Robbie Justicson's home, where he's lived all his life, is
barely recognizable. The twenty three year old was working from
his house on Saturday when a stranger holding a gun
began banging on the back door of the house. Justicon
tried screaming at him to scare him off.
Speaker 9 (12:26):
I had the gun pointed at me, screaming at me
open the expletive door, and he basically started beating on
the door again. Very obviously was committed to getting in
the house. And I took off running and came out
this store down here, And as I took off running,
(12:46):
I heard the glass shatter, and at that point I
knew he was.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
In the house.
Speaker 23 (12:51):
Justiceon ran to a neighbor's house, powerless as he watched
the chaos unfolding from a distance. Home security camera footage
provided to Global News from just shows a man pouring
gasoline all over the house and on Justiceon's car before
a fire is set.
Speaker 9 (13:05):
The car exploded. So we heard that, saw the big
puff of black smoke come over the over the sky,
and just heard gunshots over and over again. Was hoping
eventually that one of them would be the last one
to be over, but it took a little longer for
that to happen.
Speaker 23 (13:23):
According to the RCMP, a man is alleged to have
robbed the nearby RBC bank with a firearm before fleeing
to Justison's home after exchanging gunshots with the RCMP. Police
say he lit the house and car on fire and
was shot by an officer while allegedly attempting to flee.
He died at the scene, and the Serious Incident Response
Team is now investigating how police handled the deadly incident.
(13:45):
For justice In, he's trying to come to terms with
the harrowing experience he went through in a home he
and his mother once shared with his late father.
Speaker 9 (13:53):
So many memories playing with my dad in the front
yard when I was a kid, you know, coming out
talking to my dad, playing ball, hawking in the front yard,
all of my near childhood. And your safety is just
like been violated. Is the best way I could put.
Speaker 23 (14:10):
Him, is that an appliant global news monked in.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
I'll be an insurance. Uh, Popo killed an armed suspect
by Okay, here.
Speaker 24 (14:21):
We go the name of the victim who died after
he was hit by a patrol car Tuesday afternoon. Today,
the Pueblo County Corner identified the suspect as thirty six
year old Antonio Herrera of Pueblo. Pueblo police say that
officers responded to an alleged theft at the Famous Footwear
on the North Side when they say he ran from
the store. Police say Herrera pulled out a gun when
(14:41):
an officer hit him with a patrol car. Officers say
he died.
Speaker 25 (14:44):
At the scene.
Speaker 24 (14:45):
An investigation into this is still underway as well.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
But if that was puebl Little Colorado, let's see Popo
shoot and kill a man who brought a Here we
go again.
Speaker 8 (15:00):
We're seeing brand new body cam video of a police
shooting in Sheridan that left one man dead last night.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
Take a look, yep, yere on the ground.
Speaker 18 (15:11):
No yeh.
Speaker 26 (15:17):
Throught the nut?
Speaker 8 (15:18):
Yeah, brand new video from the City of Sheridan this afternoon.
It happened near the Beer Creek bike path. The man
in the video holding a large machete. After tasing him twice,
he continued to approach with the machete. That's when police
opened fire. He was pronounced dead at the hospital later
last night. The Critical Incident Response Team is now investigating
the shooting.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
Well. Clearly the local Pull Up Bureau members need to
enact reasonable proper machete gun safety laws. Yes, machete background checks,
universal machete background checks. Another local one. Oh, this may
be the same one. I think this is a version
of the same one.
Speaker 27 (15:59):
We start tonight with breaking news and Centennial deputies with
the Rapouanny Sheriff's Office shot and killed a shoplifting suspect
outside of Walmart this morning. Investigators say he was armed
with both a knife and this is not the same.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
One, is it? No, we got we got two machetes
in Colorado.
Speaker 27 (16:16):
Holy crap, machete And this all started just after seven
this morning when deputies responded to a shoplifting call at
this walmart on East Bridwood Avenue. When deputies made contact,
they say the man approached them carrying the weapons.
Speaker 28 (16:30):
A deputy deployed a taser, which was ineffective. As the
subject continued to advance, another deputy discharged his firearm, striking
the subject. Immediately, deputies began life saving measures. The subject
was pronounced deceased once medical personnel arrived on scene.
Speaker 27 (16:50):
Now the Critical Incident Response Team is leading this investigation.
The suspect's name has not been released. No deputies were hurt.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
I Here Paul here Upung call on Governor Polis to
call a special session because we need common sense machete
legislation staffed alic See. A man brings a knife to
a gunfight with the Pope pole that never seems to
work out for some reason.
Speaker 26 (17:13):
An investigation is underway after a Lamore police officer was
forced to shoot his suspect. The police chief says the
man tried to attack the officer with a knife. The
incident unfolded this afternoon at an apartment complex on Blake
Street near Eighteenth Avenue and Hanford Armona Road.
Speaker 29 (17:30):
Action News reporter Vincy bar was on scene and lamour
and shares how this violence has shaken the community.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
The King's County.
Speaker 30 (17:37):
Sheriff's Office is taking over this investigation involving that Lamore
police officer. We spoke to the police chief and he
was emotional after hearing about the shooting. A shooting involving
the Lamore police officer in the middle of this community.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
Authority say.
Speaker 30 (17:51):
The officer was dispatched to the country Club apartments on
Blake Street near Eighteenth Avenue a little after one on Tuesday.
The officer was asked to collect a statement regarding an
assault in Reno about five years ago. The More Police Chief,
Michael Kendall, says the officer went inside the suspect's apartment.
Speaker 31 (18:07):
At Michael and Dragon. And not that it matters, I
guess it doesn't matter. But the voters didn't even get
a vote on that cull Fax Bovine VCS project, but
they did vote on all those stupid what do you
call those? The bond measures that probably is what is
funding it so absolutely disgusting.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
Do you know how hard it was to find a
street walker last night before dinner and then after dinner?
Holy cal I mean, the economy's going to suck over there.
We're doing taxpayer relief shots.
Speaker 32 (18:45):
This is Well County Sheriff Steve Reems, and I want
to encourage the people of Colorado to remember you still
have the right to defend yourself, no matter how much
of a mess this state has become. While the Democrats
and the legislature and the governor of the state have
created as many barriers as they can to make it
difficult for you to own and carry a gun for
your protection, you still have your Second Amendment rights. The
Democrat controlled legislature and Governor Polis also tell us that
(19:07):
crime isn't out of control, but we all know that's
not true in welld County. I encourage every citizen to
have an investment in their own safety. You should own
a gun and know how to use it. If someone
wants to break into your home and threaten your family,
they should meet the serious end of a firearm. The
best way to end the spread of crime is to
ensure the criminal is no longer part of the equation.
As the Sheriff of Weald County, remember this. We love
(19:28):
our guns in Weld County and we don't like criminals. Yeah,
or this Sheriff's PSA. This is Weld County Sheriff Steve Reems,
and I want to encoura.
Speaker 21 (19:37):
To double click there, Michael, thank you least once a week.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
Yes, yeah, I can't fight here. We go here.
Speaker 28 (19:45):
It is hi.
Speaker 4 (19:47):
Everyone. Recently, lady called nine one one here in Panell
County because someone was breaking into her house.
Speaker 17 (19:53):
There's some guy.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
He came to my door, but he went into my
neighbor's house.
Speaker 4 (19:57):
This dispatcher gave excellent advice. I'd like you to take
a moment and listen to it. He came into my garage.
Speaker 27 (20:02):
He's trying to get my back door.
Speaker 10 (20:04):
Okay, lock your doors, keep them all locked. Do you
have a firearm with you?
Speaker 33 (20:08):
I do.
Speaker 30 (20:08):
He's in my garage.
Speaker 34 (20:09):
He's trying to get in.
Speaker 18 (20:11):
Go get that firearm.
Speaker 6 (20:12):
I have a gun off here you Leah's.
Speaker 4 (20:18):
While the incident was still going on, sergeant was monitoring
the radio traffic and this is his direction that he gave.
Speaker 6 (20:25):
If I URP, if the subject's trying to get in
the house, down of the right to use force.
Speaker 4 (20:29):
I couldn't be more in agreement with what the direction
of my dispatcher gave and what the sergeant gave over
the radio. Remember, if you want personal protection, buy a gun,
learn how to use it, learn when you can use it.
I'm sure if Ross people and I approve of this message.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
Yeah, and I approve that message too. Let's get back
to where we were. Man brings a knife to a gunfight.
Speaker 26 (20:51):
An investigation is underway after Almar police officer was forced
to shoot a suspect. The police chief says the man
tried to attack the officer with a knife. The incident
unfolded this afternoon at an apartment complex on Blake Street
near Eighteenth Avenue and Hanford Armona Road.
Speaker 29 (21:07):
Actions News reporter Vincy bar was on scene and lamour
and shafes how this violence has shaken the community.
Speaker 30 (21:14):
The King's County Sheriff's Office is taking over this investigation
involving that Lamore police officer. We spoke to the police
chief and he was emotional after hearing.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
About the shooting.
Speaker 30 (21:23):
A shooting involving a Lamore police officer in the middle
of this community. Authorities say the officer was dispatched to
the country Club apartments on Blake Street near Eighteenth Avenue
a little after one on Tuesday.
Speaker 3 (21:35):
The officer was asked to collect a.
Speaker 30 (21:37):
Statement regarding an assault in Reno about five years ago.
Lamore Police Chief Michael Kendall says the officer went inside
the suspect's apartment to interview him. He says they were
sitting down having a conversation when things took a dangerous turn.
Speaker 35 (21:50):
During that interview and completely unprovoked. The subject retrieved a
knife and as the officer was still sitting the subject
attacked our officer with a knife.
Speaker 30 (22:07):
Chief Kendall says the officer then pulled out his gun
and shot the suspect.
Speaker 3 (22:11):
The man did not survive.
Speaker 30 (22:13):
The chief visibly emotional about the incident.
Speaker 35 (22:15):
With one of my officers having to go through this,
it's not something that any police officer wants to do,
and unfortunately he was placed into a position to where
he had no other choice.
Speaker 30 (22:32):
The officer was not physically harmed in the attack. Chief
Kendall says this is the first officer involved shooting since
twenty nineteen. But Tuesday's incident still rattled the people in
this small community.
Speaker 33 (22:43):
Used to be a nice little town, but I don't
think it's a nice little town anymore, you know, because
so many bad things happening.
Speaker 30 (22:50):
Lilla Moore resident tells Action News her mother lives in
a nearby complex and was set into a panic to
hear of a heavy police presence so close.
Speaker 2 (22:58):
Got so nervous, Garrett, you know, I thought something happened
to her.
Speaker 30 (23:04):
The man who was shot and killed has not yet
been identified. The officer who opened fire has been placed
on administratively per department policy as this investigation continues. And
Lamara on vincybarat ABC thirty Action News.
Speaker 2 (23:18):
Yeah, don't bring a knife to a gunfight. Now, I
think the next one may be listening to this segment,
because as much as I admonished these thugs not to
bring a knife to a gunfight, this one is a
little smarter, right.
Speaker 36 (23:32):
The Shevlet police chief is on restricted duty. He shot
and killed a stabbing suspect on Greenland Street in Riverdale
last night. State investigators say officers were responding to a
stabbing call and while unseen, they encountered a man holding
two knives, and they say he ignored commands to drop them.
Police say a taser was also deployed, but that did
not stop the suspect. That Maryland Attorney General's Office is
(23:53):
now leading the investigation.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
Oh well, never mind. One knife doesn't work. Two knives
don't work. The man points agut at the cops. Can
you say d ord hey everyone?
Speaker 18 (24:06):
Recently it's a double click there, Michael, I thought you
had a flog on your throat.
Speaker 37 (24:15):
And tonight's crimeal Or agents with the Tennessee Bureau of
Investigation are looking into a deadly shooting involving Memphis police.
This happening in Parkway Village. According to the TVI, that
shooting happened around two thirty this morning the forty one
hundred block of Northbridge Avenue. We're told MPD responded to
a call about a man firing shots there into the air.
When officers arrived, a man later identified as thirty four
(24:35):
year old Vounterian Anthony pointed a gun at one of
those officers. Investigators say another officer than shot Anthony. He
was taken to the hospital where he died. The officers
involved in that incident have been relieved of duty. It's
standard procedure. Their names have not been released.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
Yeah, don't point a gun at the cops. Pre shoot
and kill an armed gunman.
Speaker 33 (24:58):
And deputies shout and killed a gun men who killed
an employee at Eastern State Hospital early Saturday morning. Eastern
State Hospital is located in Medical Lake, just west of Spokane.
The Spokane County Sheriff's Office says the suspect was involved
in three separate crimes before the shooting at the hospital.
They say the suspect started a brush fire, then entered
(25:19):
and occupied home and fired shots before leaving. No one
was hurt in that incident, then shot a hospital employee
in the parking lot. The victim died at the scene.
Deputies exchanged gunfire with the suspect, and he later died.
The Spokane Independent Investigative Response Team is investigating. Once we
learn more, we'll give you an update. Seattle police are
(25:43):
working to track down the suspect for an apparent road
rate shooting that hurt one person near Udub just before
three am. The University of Washington sent out the alert.
Police state shots were fired from a white suv with
five or six men inside. The person who was it
was treated at the scene, but no word on their condition.
Police are asking anyone who has information that can help
(26:06):
find those responsible to contact them. Detectives are searching for
answers after a missing Bothel woman was found dead. More
than one hundred miles from her home Melbury. Barber was
last seen in Bothel on June twenty fourth. A hunter
found her Boughdy in Mason County on September fifteenth.
Speaker 3 (26:24):
Discovered on Timber.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
We got enough of that. Now they're just doing crime
crime news stories. We got the popo. Okay, another one,
popo shoot and kill an armed man?
Speaker 18 (26:36):
Hi everyone recently, really, seriously, you know what, Just take
a break right now, just both just you can't.
Speaker 2 (26:48):
You cannot even minutely move the mouse. Now you can
double click and you'll highlight it. And if you touch
the mouse, move it goes away. Uh huh.
Speaker 34 (27:00):
Liberals and bleeding hearts everywhere be where. You are now
listening to the one and only taxpayer Relief Shots segment
on the situation with Michael Brown, you have been warned
for the rest of us normal God fearing Americans enjoy,
have a great weekend, and God bless well.
Speaker 21 (27:19):
That was nice as long as Michael can double click.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
You know, when we get done, I want you to
come in here and I'll show you how this drives
me crazy. Let's see Popo shooting gilln arm Man.
Speaker 38 (27:34):
I'm shocked Indiana and investigation is underway. After a Gary
police officer shot and killed an armed man during a
domestic battery call. It happened just after a thirty last
night and Gary at a home in the twenty five
hundred block of Connecticut Street. Police say twenty four year
old Walter Wright was armed when he came out of
the home and engaged officers, causing them to shoot. Investigators
(27:57):
say Right assaulted a fifty seven year old man in
the home. That man was taken to the hospital for
his injuries.
Speaker 2 (28:04):
I like that phrase. Engaged officers caused them to shoot. Uh,
Burgley suspect. Well, this doesn't work either. Here we go.
Speaker 14 (28:15):
We're following some breaking news this morning from Hickson where
a man is dead, two police officers are on leave,
and the search for another person is underway. I'm going
to take a step out of the way so you
can see what this scene here looks like. Right now,
we've moved since we last checked in from Hamil Road
and Sarasota Drive. They were taped off but have since
been reopened. Where we're standing now is Doctor Wonderstone. This
appears to be a cannabis store and it's still taped off.
(28:37):
It appears here that the door has been smashed in
and that police are serving the scene here behind us
right now. It all happened after a burglary and a
shooting here in Hickson after two fifteen this morning.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
An officer was.
Speaker 14 (28:47):
Called to the scene for a reported burglary. They arrived
and saw a man trying to drive away. Police say
a second officer arrived. Both officers ordered the man to
stop and get out of the car, but then a
second officer tried to remove the man from the car,
and police say that that man put the car into Europe,
tried to drive away and nearly hit one of the officers.
It was at that moment the Chattanooga Police Saves ers
fired their guns, hitting the man. They were still looking
(29:08):
for a passenger that got out of that car and
ran away at the time. We will continue to follow
this throughout the day if you updated on air and online.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
On air and online, all right, I got that one.
Let's see a man beating a woman with a hammer.
Speaker 39 (29:25):
The male literally actively in the process of striking the
female over the head with the hammer, and the male
was also trying to close the door on officers to
prevent them from getting in.
Speaker 25 (29:37):
Albuquerque Police Chief Real Medina says that's why his officer
shot and killed a man. This morning, police were called
to an apartment complex near ninety eighth and Dennis Chavez
in southwest Albuquerque for a domestic dispute. Police tried to
get the two people to leave the apartment, but they refused,
and after about thirty minutes, the fighting escalated. Police then
tried to force their way in, but the door was barricaded.
(30:00):
They were able to open a door about a foot
and police say the man was hitting the woman with
a hammer. That's when one officer opened fire.
Speaker 39 (30:08):
This time, one officer did discharge their firearm and the
male is deceased on scene. The female was able to
get out of the crease in the door and out
to the officers, where they took her to get medical attention.
Speaker 25 (30:22):
The woman taken to the hospital. Her condition is still
unknown right now. Chief Bendina says there has been limited
contact with the two involved in the past, but they
are looking more into those calls.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
Greg and I think that one might cause for a celebration.
Speaker 3 (30:37):
Yeah, you don't.
Speaker 21 (30:39):
Maybe we may expand women into the kids and puppies thing. Yeah,
you don't beat on a woman, right with a hammer.
Speaker 2 (30:45):
Yes, good grease, not cool men, Okay, A barricaded suspect,
another deputy involved shooting under investigation.
Speaker 14 (30:53):
That's what happening in Pompino Beach.
Speaker 21 (30:54):
And that's where we find Local Times.
Speaker 14 (30:55):
Brett Niece, he's live at the scene with what he's learned.
Speaker 40 (30:58):
Brett Nicole and Louis we just talked to the shit
here and he filled us in on a lot of
details about what happened over the last several hours. This
all started around one twenty in the afternoon when they
got a call for a suspicious person at a home
here on Bay Drive. I'm gonna step out of the way.
You can see this is the road that is blocked
off right here at Bay Drive and Beacon Street here
in Pompino Beach. You see the Sheriff's deputy car there
(31:19):
blocking the street. There are several detectives vehicles, and then
there's the command post right there in the center of
the roadway. After several hours trying to get this man
out of this home here on this road, they said
that things escalated. That's whenever they decided to deploy drones
inside the home. And here's what Sheriff Tony said, happened.
Speaker 13 (31:39):
Next, he was barricade himself and ford to find this
position within one of the rooms. We're through multiple elements
of kind of de escalation techniques. One of the things
we did was to utilized technology. We deployed our drone
within the resident. The drone was able to locate the individual,
spot him on and at which time we heard gunfire
that opened up. It appears that either the suspect was
(31:59):
shoot at the drone or trying to hit the drone
or sell.
Speaker 40 (32:02):
So after that first drone went in, they sent a
second drone and a dog and Sheriff Tony says that
the man attacked that dog. That's when a swat team
moved in. They shot the man. He died from his injuries.
Early investigation shows that this man may have had some
sort of criminal history, according to Sheriff Tony. He says
that he may have past felony convictions. We're working to
(32:23):
learn more information on that. We're also working to learn
more about this investigation that is still in its early stages.
But this all started around one o'clock in the afternoon.
Of course, now being after ten, this is going on
close to nine hours at this point. We're going to
stay on top of this and keep you up at
him Live and Pamino Beach, Brettany's local tenda.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
Yeah you can bear, okay, but you can't hide. All right.
That does it for the taxpayer relief shots, at least
for this Friday. We'll have him again next Friday. Be
sure and tune in tomorrow on Freedom ninety three seven
or AM seven sixty for the weekend with Michael Brown
at ten Mountain Time. See you then, have a great weekend.
