Speaker 1 (00:00):
Insident sunning that when Trump was shot a year ago
on July thirteenth, that CNN for the first hour did
not say that he was shot. In fact, one of
their first headlines was that secret Service rushed Trump off
the stage after he fell at the rally. The mainstream
(00:22):
news media is just pure scum.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Still, Good morning, Jimmy Sangenberger here with you in for
Michael Brown on the situation, and it is great to
be with you along with none other than mister Dragon
Redbeard behind the glass.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
Good morning, sir.
Speaker 4 (00:45):
Good morning, Bud.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
How the heck are you all right on yourself? I
am doing pretty darn well. I can't believe yesterday I
saw the headlines spent a year since the assassination attempt
on President Trump. I remember that day very well. I'm
sure our listeners do you do. It was a heck
(01:06):
of a moment, hell of a moment really, where we
weren't sure what really was going on. There were false
headlines that were vastly we can't even say understating. I mean,
it was shocking. Just as we heard the reminder of
the headlines that Trump fell or this, it was it
(01:27):
was like we couldn't really understand what was going on
unless you were plugged into the right source.
Speaker 5 (01:33):
It was really odd. I hate to break in here
and tell my own story about yes please. At my
part time job, we take care of national news syndication,
so I don't create it, so I just monitor and
make sure that it comes to us and then goes
out to other networks. And as I'm listening to this
national news, I can hear on all the different channels
(01:55):
that they send to us that they are broadcasting a
speech live. I'm like, oh, that's really they're putting speech on.
So I have to monitor it and make sure it's
there and make sure the audio quality is good through
our receivers.
Speaker 4 (02:06):
And everything's like that sounds really good.
Speaker 5 (02:08):
And then about I can't even remember how long, but
then it got quiet. I'm like, oh, something happens. So
I start turning up and I hear crowd noises. Ok, okay,
maybe just somebody, you know, in between Trump speaking and
somebody so there's a first present presentation. Then Trump comes on,
so maybe it's just crowd noise and everything. They're just
keeping the channel right. And then I start hearing some
(02:30):
other things, like you know, uh, Trump fell, They rushed
him away, and this is from the national news. It's okay,
So something happened. So I go online to all the
other news sources, and I'm trying to figure out what
exactly happened. And no shade toward Alexa who left the
talk back. But at the time, when you're gathering information,
(02:51):
nobody really knows what got fair. So yes, a news
network can lead with what they saw, well Trump go
down and escort it away? Yeah for an hour? Sure, Okay,
I get that because you're still trying to gather information
and trying to figure out what the heck's going on.
So if another news network says, yeah, Trump's been shot
(03:12):
and he's dead, you want them to run with that
for an hour?
Speaker 4 (03:15):
Now what they absolutely know he's down? And what is
there saying?
Speaker 3 (03:19):
It's it's better to be right than first.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
Right.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
That's true, that's fair, although I will say that we
still had media outlets from my recollection that we're understating
what happened with headlines beyond an hour.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
And exactly once you get past to the you know,
the initial something happened, Yes, then get your information right,
and you better present that correct information.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
Yes, and present it in a way that is honest
and as full as you can.
Speaker 5 (03:50):
And that first hour speculating does nobody any good whatsoever.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
Well, the last time, of course that a president had
been shot was Ronald Reagan nineteen eighty one, and prior
to that was the last time that a president had
been shot and killed.
Speaker 5 (04:10):
Hey, there was a shoe throwing incident once upon a time,
that is.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
True, but it was on foreign soil. It wasn't a rock,
But nevertheless, that's that's true.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
It was a heck.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
I remember that. That was quite something. Oh, George W.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
Bush in those days.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
It's actually to think back just in terms of the
political climate of the time, because obviously we had nine
to eleven, we embarked on two wars. But don't the
politics of the era of George W. Bush seem rather
quaint compared to today. I mean, there's just something wholesome
(04:46):
which is crazy to think about that time period of
what was being leveled against George W.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
Bush as far as attacks from the left.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
And now we have a Republican party that basically hates Bush,
which is really interesting to see how you have a
complete turnabout where you know, he's the only other living
Republican president and he has not been to the current
Republican president's conventions, right at least I may Was.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
He there in twenty sixteen?
Speaker 2 (05:17):
He wasn't in twenty twenty four, wasn't I don't believe
in twenty twenty I don't think he was there.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
I mean, I digress.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
This is sort of just tangential, But I think about
politics of sort of when I was getting involved and
interested as a teenager and a college student, it seems
rather quaint compared to the kinds of stuff we deal
with today and have for the last number of years.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
Is it just me or does it feel a little
quaint to you?
Speaker 4 (05:48):
Dragon? It is? It is odd?
Speaker 3 (05:50):
Yeah, yeah, but.
Speaker 5 (05:52):
Real quickick before we dive into anything more. The last
time we had you on this show, you were about
to go over to the fan fest, Yes, and have
a photos with our differend, William Shatner. Yes, and I
need to know how did that go? Did he remember you?
And sort of because you had the inc The.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
Problem with that moment was it was so fast paced.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
They were cycling people in boom boom boom. Uh. You
hardly really had a chance to compose yourself for the
photo before it was move on, move on, and I was,
and I was giddy. The photo definitely shows it looks
like I was being beamed up in that moment.
Speaker 4 (06:35):
That Did he like the shirt?
Speaker 2 (06:36):
But yeah, of course, But you didn't really have time
to talk to him, so I tried to get something
and he seemed to remember.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
But I don't really know for sure. I can't say
for certain.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
I will say getting to interview him and then getting to.
Speaker 3 (06:54):
Meet him, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
We met him and we did our photo, and then
seeing him speak was excellent. Just the whole combination of
everything with good old William Shatner was fantastic and it
was really.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
A great weekend.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
In fact, I did a big story for the Denver
Gazette on Fan Expo Denver, where I interviewed a number
of other folks who were there, not as much as
the as for celebrities, although any sticking with sci fi,
any officionados of Star Wars novels who recall the Thron
(07:32):
trilogy and Grand Admiral Thron, I met and interview timothy's On,
the author who created that character and the character of
Mara Jade and really was responsible in the early nineties
before the prequel movies for kind of keeping Star Wars
alive through those novels and through comics based on those novels.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
Excellent.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
So that was somebody else that I had talked to.
I happened to be of the generation that grew up
with the early Power Rangers, and the second Yellow Ranger
was there, and I interviewed her and included her in
my story Star Wars Theory. The largest Star Wars YouTuber,
I interviewed him. He's got three point three million subscribers
(08:15):
and others.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
It was really a blast, though. People dressed up.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
In cosplay in the most elaborate costumes for superheroes, for
Star Wars characters, for Harry Potter, for Lord of the Rings,
you name it, whatever the fandom was, and so many
of these costumes were incredible.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
There was a Bob Ross Deadpool.
Speaker 5 (08:39):
Seriously, Oh yes, yeah, because uh Ryan Reynolds did that.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
Yeah, okay, And that was great.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Just so much creativity, the artists that are vendors. It
is one of the largest comic cons or fan conventions
in the entire country, which I didn't know, but it is.
And it's got about one hundred and ten thousand people
that come, and you got all these vendors that have
artwork that's creative as heck, crossovers that you would have
(09:08):
never imagined.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
For one guy who I interviewed from my.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Story where you know it's like uh Lelo and Stitch
meet Pokemon, or you know Star Wars meets how to
Train Your Dragon like this these.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
And the artwork is amazing.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
You have to go with a budget of several hundred
dollars if you really want to fully enjoy these fan conventions.
Sometimes it can get to a point where it's just
too rich for your blood.
Speaker 5 (09:39):
So you you mentioned the Bob Ross Deadpool, So who
do you think led the best outside the best costume,
the best cosplay.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
My problem is I'm biased, okay because I love Star Wars.
But when you go to the Fible First Legion, So
there's these three fan organizations for Star Wars, these costuming clubs.
There's the First which is basically the Empire, the dark
Side guys. Then you've got the Rebel Legion, which is
(10:09):
the good guys basically, and then you've got the Marks,
the Mercenaries. This are our clan and they're the ones
that are the bounty hunters, the Mandalorians decked out and
there are just so many of those costumes that are
so elaborate.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
I didn't see it the day of, but I got
a photo that was used.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
For the story of the pr person for the five
First and really for all three of those clubs, but
she's part of two of them. She had a red
Stormtrooper uniform that just at least from the photo, looked incredible.
The creativity and the effort that people put into this
(10:53):
is remarkable, and then a lot of times they'll use
it for charity fundraising, so they'll do different events.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
Are at the Fan Expo Denver.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
Those groups there was a Star Trek group, others that
would raise money funds for people who were going.
Speaker 3 (11:08):
There were the Star Trek group.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
That's called the USS tiberun They were selling tribles that
don't reproduce, by the way, non reproducing tribles, so you're
not gonna end up with one hundred by the end
of the day if you took it home and they raised,
you know, thirteen hundred dollars or something like that from
So it's really great that they would turn cosplay into
(11:33):
supporting a cause.
Speaker 3 (11:34):
Cosplay for a cause, if you.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
Will, and the creativity, I mean, these are from them
to the vendors, who are the artists and beyond.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
These are artistic talents that I do not have.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
I could play music, I could do harmonica, you know,
and that's great. But the drawings and putting things together
with arts and crafts and stuff has never been my struggle.
Speaker 3 (12:02):
Are you good at that arts and crafts?
Speaker 5 (12:04):
It used to be when I was a kid, but
then it just kind of fell out of favor.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
Fell out of favor. That's a nice way. That's a
nice way of putting it.
Speaker 2 (12:11):
When you don't have any arts and crafts artistic talents.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
Yeah, I'm sure you have some artistic talents.
Speaker 5 (12:19):
I was considered good when I was a kid, but
then I grew up and I didn't improve. So then
as an adult it's like, well, this looks like crap.
That'll old, you know, eight years old. That's really good,
that'll do it.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
Well. What I love is everybody's getting an escape.
Speaker 4 (12:33):
You know.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
You go to one of these conventions, and I asked
everybody the question.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
So there are people outside who are driving by the
convention center. They see people in costumes and they are
scratching their heads, going, what in the.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
World is going on here?
Speaker 2 (12:49):
And I asked them, what don't you get about what
don't people get about fandoms?
Speaker 3 (12:54):
Yeah, And one.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
Of the things that was sort of most common is
that this is just another manifestation of say, if you
are a Broncos fan, right, and you're wearing a jersey,
or you are you're fan of any sport, you're wearing
a cheesehead. Uh, you know, a cheese on your head
or shirt exactly exactly, and especially if you do the
(13:20):
extra mile of like wearing some you know, you watch
you watch the I've never done this, but you watch
video of any football or baseball games and people get
decked with the paint their faces, they do any of
that kind of stuff.
Speaker 4 (13:33):
Chiss fans that do all the makeup. There you go.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
It's the same kind of thing. It's just a different
manifestation of that. You might go to the convention wearing
a Star Wars T shirt That's what I did most
of the days. Or you deck yourself out and win
in one of these more complex costumes.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
Bob Ross Deadpool, Bob Ross Deadpool.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
Uh. There was a woman who was there was dark
helmet from Spaceballs, and what was great was when she
had this massive helmet as you would expect, and she
pushed it around on Spaceball's the cart, which.
Speaker 3 (14:13):
I thought was brilliant. I was like, this is awesome.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
I have to get a picture, and you know, it
did make it into the story. And then they had
from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies from the nineties,
they had their entire lead cast there for a panel.
Rob Schneider was there as well as a speaker, and
he did get a little bit political at he's a
Trump supporter, yes, absolutely, and there was he was telling
(14:39):
this story of being at Saturday Night Live and specifically
for their fifty fiftieth anniversary, and this was what been
within the last several months or whatever.
Speaker 3 (14:54):
And so he was behind Robert de Niro, who.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
Of course is a massive, uh massive hater of Trump.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
And so some they're moving up to go do their.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Big photo you know, video and photo closing thing with
everybody who's been on Saturday Night Live.
Speaker 3 (15:10):
Which happened to be everybody who was there.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
And he is pushed or something and nudges into Robert
de Niro, who turns and said, Schneider, how could you
vote for that schmuck? Something like that. He's turning the
country into schmucks and like but he I think he
dropped an F bomb in there.
Speaker 3 (15:28):
I'm pretty sure he had a couple F bobs.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
And then Schneider at least says he just disarms him
by saying, I love you.
Speaker 3 (15:35):
You're one of my favorite actors.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
I love you, and he jokes about how the one
thing that he loved was at least Robert de Niro,
knew his name, knew who he was, but it was
and then he went on to say, he's our president
of the you know, he's our president.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
You don't have to like it.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
One guy booze in the audience, which is not bad
if you think about it. True where he's talking, So
he dropped Trump's name full of times. Oh gosh, what
was the story he said for why he voted for Trump?
Speaker 3 (16:06):
At least was you know, I'm not even telling it
in the way that would be a joke like he did.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
But he was auditioning for a movie and then well
he wanted to go do a movie and Lord Michaels right,
who was behind Saturday SNL, said no.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
So the next time he decided not to ask for permission.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
And I think that was home alone two, which he
was in Loston, New York exactly, and that's the one
that happens to feature Trump. But so he said that
he needed a place to stay, so he called up
Donald Trump, and Trump gave him a hotel room for
the night, and he decided to vote for him. Now
was much better how he told that story. But it
(16:51):
came to my mind just now. It gos darn it Dragon.
It's the first segment of the show, so of course
I'm going to share it, of course, But it was
really cool. You got to see all these different people
from different backgrounds and movies and series and all kinds
of things there and again, the artistry and talent of
people is incredible.
Speaker 5 (17:11):
And I know it was a few weeks in the past,
but I just want to make sure you have had
you since then.
Speaker 4 (17:15):
I wanted to make sure we got an update.
Speaker 3 (17:17):
It was last weekend, so not that far back.
Speaker 4 (17:19):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
Yeah, yeah, because I was.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
In here July third when we did the reading of
the Declaration of Independence. Really, because I think last week
was a blur and I don't know, I went to
fan Expo. That's done already. Yeah, time flies, But indeed,
let's go back to it. For just a moment one
(17:42):
year ago yesterday was the attempted assassination of President Donald J. Trump,
and he lived, and he I will never forget seeing
him when he spoke later, and he had that covering
on his ears, and thank God, thank God for him
(18:03):
turning his head, and just all the things that had
to happen for President Trump to live another day and
then be elected, re elected for a second term, doing
the second thing, a thing that only Grover Cleveland had
done in the eighteen hundreds, get a second non consecutive term,
(18:24):
and thank God for that. I'm Jimmy Sangenberger, just getting
started for Michael Brown six point thirty KO.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
I can appreciate that right after Trump was shot there
was some confusion what had happened. However, most of the
news media, especially on the right, got it right within
the first half hour. Another perfect example is our Denver
Post on Sunday morning. Their headline was gunman dies in
(18:55):
attack with the infamous picture of Trump and his fist up.
That is completely pathetic.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
Yes, indeed, although accurate.
Speaker 4 (19:07):
Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
It's a matter of the you're right, accurate, But is
that really the story when a former president running to
be president of the United States is shot for the
first time in the lifetime of.
Speaker 3 (19:26):
His vice presidential nominee. Let's just say that JD.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
Vance was not alive in nineteen eighty one when Ronald
Reagan was shot. That to me was pretty historic. I'd
never been alive for that. All we'd seen was the
shoe throwing incident in Iraq that you mentioned earlier, Daggett,
when George W. Bush was in Iraq giving a speech,
press conference, whatever that was, and a shoe was thrown
(19:51):
at him.
Speaker 3 (19:52):
Chaos ensues even with the shoe.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
But yes, you're right, to be fair technic, they are correct.
Was that really what you should be emphasizing in terms
of the lead or the headline?
Speaker 3 (20:09):
Definitely not.
Speaker 2 (20:11):
And it was pretty stunning to see some of that
last year, I mean, really something else.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
But then again, what are you going to do when
the guy has.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
One of the most iconic photos now of the twenty
first century, literally one of the most iconic photos of
the twenty first century. Now we are waiting, by the way,
Jimmy Singenberger filling in for Michael Brown here today on
six point thirty k how President Trump is going to
(20:42):
be making a major statement, they say on Russia today,
it looks like he is finally getting tougher on Putin.
The United States is in fact going to be providing
support for the Ukrainians with new Patriot missiles additional firepower.
(21:03):
And we'll talk about this later. I think that is
a good thing. But he is meeting with the leader
of NATO and they will be having their the Secretary
General right of NATO, and they will be having this conversation.
And we think, and I say by we, I mean
(21:24):
I think me, others, folks in the media, mainstream and
otherwise think that he will be really just sort of
laying down more support for Ukraine and having some tough
words for Russia. I think and believe that will be
the case. We'll get to that later on in the program.
(21:44):
But one thing that I found interesting is Mark Cuban,
who I've debated, by the way, five years ago on
a web show that I was doing in twenty twenty
and twenty twenty one called Jimmy at the cross Roads
that I did in partnership with The Washington Examiner, And
it was during the lockdowns and whatnot in April of
(22:07):
twenty twenty that I did a live video where I
could see him, he could see me debate Dragon about
COVID policies, and I was right.
Speaker 3 (22:17):
History proved me right, and I love that.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
It got to love when history proves you writing like,
we don't need a massive expansive program where you hire
millions and millions of people to do contract contact tracing
and testing. Remember that discussion, Dary COVID contact tracing and testing,
and let's go and hire millions of people because we
can get them back to work and have them do
(22:42):
something good. And I was like, you don't need that.
In fact, by the time you ramp stuff up, we
will be better economically, things will be improving. And I
was right because finally they opened up and boom, people
were able to get back to work and the economy
slowly but surely start coming back.
Speaker 5 (23:01):
Wasn't there something to put on our phones that you
know you could do that cool contract truck?
Speaker 4 (23:04):
That's true. Yeah, that's truth. They found.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
See, there were some more innovative ideas that the private
sector created to help speed through some stuff despite the backlogs.
Speaker 3 (23:16):
From the government.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
And I was like, look, when we saw these kinds
of massive programs in the Great Depression, it prolonged the
Great Depression.
Speaker 4 (23:25):
It's just true.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
Needless to say, that was a blast. He tried to.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
Interrupt me, and I was like, Nope, I'm going to
continue making my point. But Mark Cuban was on Pod
Save America, the liberal progressive, left wing podcast over the weekend,
I think it was, and I listened to a good
chunk of the interview. But here's the standout that everybody
(23:51):
is talking about, and it is an interesting little piece
of advice to Democrats about criticism of Trump.
Speaker 3 (23:58):
We picked the wrong pressure point. It's just Trump sucks.
Speaker 6 (24:01):
That's the underlying, you know, thought, of everything the Democrats do,
Trump sucks.
Speaker 4 (24:06):
Trump says.
Speaker 3 (24:07):
You know, this guy is blue. Trump sucks.
Speaker 4 (24:12):
You can't. That's not the way to win.
Speaker 6 (24:15):
It's just not because it's not about Trump. It's about
the people of the United States of America and what's
good for them, and how do you get them to
a place where they're in a better position and it's
less stressful for them, and so you go to the
points where you know their their impact.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
Now, He's right, you can't just say this other guy
sucks and that's enough.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
And how we know this about Trump sucks is that.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
They did that for four years when he was president,
then four years when he was not president, and they're.
Speaker 3 (24:50):
Doing it again.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
And guess what, it didn't work in twenty twenty four.
Speaker 3 (24:56):
Like, that's not how the game is played to be successful.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Oh, what we saw in twenty twenty was COVID nineteen,
the pandemic, a lot of craziness that undermined the ability
for Trump to get reelected. He lost, but he didn't
lose by much. He only needed what I think less
than one hundred thousand votes in key swing states. Like
it was a close election, especially from a popular vote
(25:23):
you know margin as well, but most specifically in those
key states since we have the electoral college, that was
the key. But he lost because of a series of
unfortunate events, if you will, that took place that made
it He couldn't do his normal campaigning routine and so forth.
So there were some things that undermined him. If not
(25:45):
for the restrictions and constraints of the COVID times, Trump
probably would have won.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
That has been my opinion.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
Mark Cuban, though saying look Trump sucks is not a message.
It is not enough, And Cuban is absolutely right, which
is why I hope Democrats don't listen to Mark Cuban
and they don't start getting there, you know what, together
and messaging more cogently, because they're they're throwing everything.
Speaker 3 (26:18):
Against the wall to see what will stick. And quite frankly,
that is not enough. That will not do it.
Speaker 2 (26:26):
Because the American people are seeing a president who's rapid fire, doing.
Speaker 3 (26:30):
So many things.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
It's hard to even keep track of how much he
has done in almost six full months in office, Like
it's only July. The guy took office in January six
months ago, not even and look at all that has
been done.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
Now. You can agree or disagree with some things.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
There are some things that I vehemently disagree with in
terms of for example, trade in terris. I've never been
a fan of that policy of Trump. But then there
are a lot of things that are great. We'll talk
a little bit later about illegal immigration and his successful
crackdowns in that respect. We have seen some real significant
(27:20):
changes in terms of trying to reign in aspects of government.
The Supreme Court hack ruled eight to one in favor
last week of upholding his ability to fire federal workers.
So that was there was a pretty striking so a
(27:40):
lot of things that President Trump has done have been
positive in a lot of ways, but.
Speaker 3 (27:45):
Also flash points.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
I say illegal immigration largely has been pretty good. On that,
there are people who will say, Nope, oh my gosh,
hair on fire, this is terrible, it's evil. What's happening
brown shirts across the country, that kind I viperbole, And
that's the kind of thing that gets to Trump socks.
Speaker 3 (28:05):
When it is.
Speaker 2 (28:07):
The ki that sort of next level rhetoric against Trump,
it's Trump socks in essence, or he's just doing evil things.
That doesn't work. They tried for years calling him racist
doesn't work. Just a a fascinating moment. And yes, I
do think Mark Cuban giving some pretty decent advice to Democrats.
Speaker 3 (28:33):
Will they take it or not? My money's are not.
Speaker 2 (28:38):
I'm Jimmy Sangenberger filling in for Michael Brown this morning
right here on Denver's talk station six point thirty K.
Speaker 3 (28:45):
Howse stay here.
Speaker 7 (28:46):
Any of the Facebook sites like Axios that covered the
anniversary of the attempt at assassination, there are still dozens
and dozens of people saying that it was staged by
the Trump organization and that what you saw on his
ear was ketch him.
Speaker 2 (29:02):
That's true, Jimmy singing Berger in for Michael Brown. The
insanity continues of conspiracy theories on both sides that are,
shall we say kindly gently unsubstantiated, how about patently absurd?
And that is yet another example. Good to be with
(29:23):
you this morning, Dragon. Earlier you asked me about Fan
Expo Denver, and we talked about that, the NERD convention
that happened last weekend.
Speaker 3 (29:35):
But there was something else that happened last weekend.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
The Jimmy Junior Blues Band had a great night performing
at in the Zone in Golden and it.
Speaker 3 (29:46):
Really was phenomenal. Not this past Saturday, but last Saturday.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
And there is a great pub and BBQ, the Genesee
Pub and Barbecue that technically is a Golden address. But
Genesee Pub and Barbecue on Saturday, or excuse me, Sunday,
the twenty seventh of this month, that we will be
performing from three to seven pm. So come on out
(30:14):
on that day. In just a couple of weekends, the
last Sunday of the month to Genesee Pub and Barbecue
for the Jimmy Junior Blues Band three to seven pm.
And we have a little bit of a sample as
we go to break of the Jimmy Junior Blues Band
doing a classic bluestudent covered by my favorite hard player,
(30:36):
Junior Wells help Me, originally by the great sunny Boy Williamson.
Speaker 4 (30:41):
Two No.
Speaker 3 (30:41):
The song is called help Me. I'm Jimmy and for
Michael Brown.
Speaker 4 (30:45):
We'll keep it going.
Speaker 2 (30:46):
On the other side, I'm joined by none other than
Rick Newman from Yahoo Finance. So keep it here six
point thirty k out.
Speaker 4 (31:19):
You gotta help me, lord.
Speaker 8 (31:22):
I won't do it all by myself. You gotta help me, baby, woman,
I won't do it.
Speaker 4 (31:30):
All by myself.
Speaker 3 (31:34):
You gonna help me.
Speaker 8 (31:35):
Dolling, I've gotta find myself somebody else.
Speaker 6 (31:39):

Speaker 3 (31:43):

I'll even my.
Speaker 4 (31:48):
But you gotta help your baby a.
Speaker 8 (31:51):
Woman, I won't do it all by myself. You don't
wanna help me, baby, I'm gonna find my Tell somebody else.
Speaker 4 (32:48):
What I want. You want with me? Let the talk
you talk to me?
Speaker 8 (32:55):
Why woman, I can't do it all about myself If
you don't help me, babes, I gotta find myself somebody else.

all by myself. If you don't wanna help me, baby,
I gotta find myself somebody else.

Speaker 4 (33:31):
Boys Nice and ste
