Speaker 1 (00:00):
Why did Mayor Mikey nominate Al Gardner for the Director
of Safety over Denver Police and Fire when the guy
has absolutely zero qualifications to be over safety. Wondering if
there's some friendship there, how much they donate, It's very perplexing.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Caution, you are about to experience the taxpayer relief shot
segment on the situation with Michael Brown. Caution, you are
about to experience the taxpayer relief shot segment on the
situation with Michael Brown. We do not necessarily relish the
death of any criminal, but we do celebrate our god
given and constitutional right to self defense in the event

(00:44):
that the criminal becomes DRT. The taxpayers spared the cost
of public defenders, court costs, incarceration, and continued parole supervision.
As the Sheriff of Santa Rosa County, Florida says insert
audio here. For Sheriff Grady of Pope County says insert
audio here. You have been warned listen at your own risks.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Mike. We do bring these stories. They're about private citizens
and occasionally the popo. They're usually legal deadly force to
protect their own lives and the lives of others, and
we do this not because we celebrate the death of
the thug, but because we celebrate the god given and
the constitutional right of people to protect themselves against death
or serious bodily injury at the hands of others. And

(01:30):
I call them taxpay relief shots because when the legal
use of that deadly force results in the death of
the thug the assailant, it saves the taxpayers the cost
of a jury trial, including almost always the cost of
a court appointed public public defender, all the possible numerous appeals,
and of course the meal, medical clothing, and possible probationary

(01:52):
supervision costs that are associated with both the arrest and
the imprisonment of that criminal. And tax pay relietion, we
think is an appropriate title for this segment. Because somebody's
breaking in your house here more than welcome to shoot him.
In Centera's accounting, we prefer that you do.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Actually hopefully you'll save the taxpayers money.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
And of course Sheriff Grady has several things to say
about it, which I think are pretty appropriate, that, for example.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
You should I would highly suggest that if a looter
breaks into your home, comes into your home while you're
there to steal stuff, that you take your gun and
you shoot him. You shoot him so that he looks
like grated cheese, because you know what, that's one leader
that won't break into anyone else's home.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Or he asked to be shot.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
He demanded to be shot, and then he forced us
to shoot.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Him, so we obliged him. Well, and if you don't
want to get shot and end up drt dead right.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
There, lose it.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
If you don't want to get shot or end up
dead right there et, then guess what.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Don't attack my deputies. Don't try to stab or shoot
my deputies, because if you do, we're gonna shoot you
a lot.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
We're gonna shoot you a lot. And my favorite one,
which has even more relevance for this particular day's TYX
player relief shots than any other, is this public service announcement.

Speaker 5 (03:29):
Hi.

Speaker 6 (03:29):
Everyone, recently, lady called nine to one one here in
Panell County because someone was breaking into her house.

Speaker 7 (03:36):
There's some guy.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
He came to my door, but he went into my
neighbor's house.

Speaker 6 (03:40):
This dispatcher gave excellent advice. I'd like you to take
a moment and listen to it. He came into my garage.

Speaker 8 (03:45):
He's trying to get my back door.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
Okay, lock your doors, keep them all locked.

Speaker 9 (03:49):
Do you have a firearm with you?

Speaker 6 (03:50):
I do.

Speaker 10 (03:51):
He's in my garage.

Speaker 6 (03:52):
He's trying to get in.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Go get that firearm.

Speaker 11 (03:55):
I haven't done.

Speaker 6 (03:55):
I'll shuit you, Leah. While the incident was still going on,
sergeant was monitoring the radio traffic and this is his
direction that he gave.

Speaker 12 (04:07):
If I is got URPF the subjects trying to get
in the house, down the right to use force.

Speaker 6 (04:12):
I couldn't be more in agreement with what the direction
of my dispatcher gave and what the sergeant gave.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Over the radio.

Speaker 6 (04:17):
Remember, if you want personal protection, buy a gun, learn
how to use it, learn when you can use it.
I'm sure if Ross Teople and I approve of this message,
and so do I.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
One of you goobers sent me a reverse taxpayer relief shot,
maybe an inverted I'm not quite sure, but it's not
a taxpayer relief shot. It does come to us from Canada,
so there is that exception. The news story comes to
us from the Global News out of Canada, and just

(04:47):
the first couple of paragraphs read as follows. A court
document shows that a Lindsey, Ontario man who is facing
charges for allegedly assaulting an intrude in his apartment. Is
accused of using a knife to defend himself. Here's the

(05:08):
report from Global News.

Speaker 13 (05:11):
Early Monday morning, a home invasion took place at an
apartment on this street in Lindsay, Ontario. An altercation happened
between a homeowner and intruder, resulting in both men getting charged.
Cortha Lake's Police say a forty four year old woke
up to find another man inside his home and allegedly
inflicted life threatening injuries on the intruder. As a result,

(05:33):
the homeowner is charged with aggravated assault and assault with
a weapon.

Speaker 9 (05:36):
Soult defense is very different to what we see kind
of in the United States, right. It's not kind of
like in this inane right to stand your ground. It
is a defense where you need to use reasonable and
proportionate force in the circumstances.

Speaker 13 (05:49):
Police say the election intruder was already wanted for unrelated
offenses and is now charged with break enter and theft,
possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, mischief, and
failure to apply with probation.

Speaker 14 (06:01):
So this criminal that's wanted by the police breaks into
this guy's house this guy gives him a beating, and
this guy gets charged, and the other guy gets charged.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
But something is broken.

Speaker 13 (06:15):
Many community members agree, we can't defend ourselves, and then
they get we get charged for hurting them.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
I don't think it's fair.

Speaker 15 (06:23):
I believe that he did the right thing and he
should be let go of all his charges. I mean,
if it was me, I'd be doing the same thing.

Speaker 13 (06:31):
The cour of the Lakes Police Chief is defending the
decision by investigators, saying the investigators were able to examine
all of the information and evidence that was available prior
to laying any charges.

Speaker 9 (06:42):
And police are looking to charge someone, they're looking at
whether or not they have reasonable grounds to do so,
Whereas when a Crown attorney is looking at a case
and whether or not to proceed, they're looking at a
different assessment. They're looking at whether or not there's a
reasonable prospect of conviction. And if it's in the public interest.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
DEVOIRI said that, And if it's in the public interest,
how's it in the public interest to send a signal
to all other citizens in Ontario that you wake up
someone is broken into your home. You end up in
a fight. Now, nothing in the story tells me that
the intruder weighed, you know, two hundred and fifty pounds,

(07:19):
was six y five and all muscle, and you're one
twenty and skinny and anorexic. Nothing tells me that. But
what is it about the public interest that would justify
filing these charges? Well, I think to send a signal that,
you know what, somebody breaks into your home. Maybe they're poor,

(07:42):
maybe they're hungry, maybe they're downtrodden. If you don't think
that it's important for us to do these kinds of stories,
this story is exactly why I do these, because we
have to preserve what we recognize as a god give
right of self defense. There is based on just this

(08:05):
two minute. I'm quite well, let's finish.

Speaker 13 (08:07):
It difficult to assess proportionate force in the moment, but
that is how the system works. The homeowner has been
released with a future court date, while the intruder remains
in police custody after being airlifted to a Toronto area hospital.
Taking King Global News.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
Well, and that's special. We have to at all cost
preserve our right of self defense. We have to preserve
our right of self defense because what is going on
in Canada is absolutely an abomination, and I think they
are deliberately sending a signal that don't you dare try

(08:46):
to defend yourself, because we'll come after you. So those
citizens that commented about, you know, particularly the older woman
that said, huh yeah, I'd be doing the same thing,
never forget how precious and fragile this God given ride
is and how dependent it is, in part on the

(09:09):
Second Amendment that gives you, you know, a well a
well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a
free state, the right to keep him bare arms shall
not be infringed. Here we go.

Speaker 16 (09:26):
Yeah, there's still a lot of questions about what happened
at this TD bank here, and the investigation underway right
now hopes to find some answers. So far, the Attorney
General's office is only saying that there was a prolonged
investigation and that a man was fatally shot after that.
It all started yesterday afternoon. Armed police swarmed the area
with their guns drawn. K nine units, a drone and

(09:49):
a robot all at the scene, and they were focused
on a car in the parking lot. A witness inside
the duncan across the street when this happened describe what
he saw lates a local police.

Speaker 17 (10:02):
And right after that happened, a pickup truck pulled in
behind with a couple of guys in like military gear, helmets,
long guns was then pointed at the car.

Speaker 16 (10:14):
Now, the AG's office says, thankfully no officers were hurt,
but we will of course get to update it as
we learn more details. We'll be speaking with police shortly
after this to see if they can confirm anything else.
Live and Keen, John Schoenheider w R News nine.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Yeah, put your guns down the popo shoot and kill
a maan. That's pretty short titled.

Speaker 12 (10:37):
Someone was shot and killed at a home in Basra.
This happens Saturday night and it's being investigated as a
trooper involved shooting.

Speaker 18 (10:44):
Your reporter, Susan Raff is live at true K and
Colchester where the call first came in.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
She has the latest force right now, Susan.

Speaker 19 (10:53):
Mark.

Speaker 8 (10:54):
Because this is an incident of shooting involving a state
police trooper, a lot of information is not being released
right now. However, we have confirmed that there was a
shooting here in Basra on Saturday night, and in fact
State Police did confirm to us that a call came
into Colchester here at Troop K shortly after seven o'clock
Saturday night. Now, State Police also told us today that

(11:17):
they responded to a home here in Basra, one ninety
nine Gifford Lane. Now, we were able to speak to
a neighbor there. The neighbor told us that something did
happen there Saturday night, but he really didn't want to
give much information or details. He was kind enough to
actually call the neighbor for us the homeowner to see
if they wanted to talk to us. And we were

(11:37):
told that the homeowner didn't want to comment about what
took place there Saturday night. So the bottom line is
right now, someone is dead. We don't know if it
was someone who lived in that house or not. And
there is an investigation by the Inspector General. That's what
happens when there is an officer or state police trooper
involved shooting. The Inspector General has five days five business days.

(11:59):
Who were lsa preliminary report and the cause of death.
Your reporter sus A Ralph Channel three Live in Bosra.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
Live in Basra, hey waned suspect brings a knife to
a gunfight. I wonder what happens.

Speaker 20 (12:13):
We're now learning more details about a fatal shooting in
North Buffalo involving cheek Dewoga police. Cheek Dewaga Police say
that it all started back on Monday, when a man
allegedly attacked an employee at a hotel in Cheek Towoga,
leaving that victim unconscious. At about twelve thirty pm Wednesday,
cheap Dowaga officers went to an apartment on Sanders Road

(12:34):
in North Buffalo to arrest the suspect, and that's when
things turn violent. Here's cheap Towoga Police Chief Brian Coomebs
explaining what happened next.

Speaker 21 (12:43):
Our officers came into contact with an individual at that address,
and this individual attacked our officers were a knife. Her
investigation revealed that one of our officers discharged the fim.
The officers then began life saving measures. Our officers secured
a continued life's saving measures until being assisted by uniformed
officers of the Buffalo PD In a Buffalo Fire Department.

(13:08):
Individual was pronounced that at the scene. The knife was
recovered at the scene. This investigation is being handled by
the Buffalo Police Department.

Speaker 20 (13:17):
Chief Coon said that body camera footage from the incident
has been turned over to the Attorney General's office and
that the officers involved are paid administrative leave, which is
the standard procedure in an incident like this. Police said
there in the process of notifying the next of ten
of the deceased and then they'll release his name in
Chiekdwaga Mockey Becker seven News.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
Yeah, I'll bring your knife to a gunflight. A oneted
suspect points again the popo and ends up speaking of DRT.

Speaker 19 (13:48):
A man is dead shot. I'm killed by Norfolk police
after officers got a call about a burglary. According to
the department's police chief, it happened on Meadow Creek Road.
Neighbors told thirteen is Now a man tried to break
into a nearby home by squeezing through a doggy door.
Police responded and say they met a man carrying a gun.
Police say that man jumped into a car and officers

(14:10):
chased him for about two or three blocks before the
chief says that man got out of the car and
pointed a gun at police. Officers fired several shots, hitting him.
Virginia State Police is now investigating what happened. Norfolk's Commonwealth
Attorney also visiting the scene.

Speaker 18 (14:27):
No matter how this investigation turns out, there are always
family members who suffer and they have my condolences because
living or dead, whether whether somebody's family member is the
victim or the defendant, they always suffer and it is
not on them.

Speaker 19 (14:44):
Police have not yet identified the man or the officers involved.
We have a lot more details on thirteen is now
dot com. Just click the link below.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
Yeah, let's see this one's international marked as an award winner.
Five year old woman.

Speaker 22 (15:02):
Underneath the house, there was a small stop letter which
they put to a window that was partially open. In
that window they gained access to inside the house, which
apparently is two persons or two male, one with a

(15:23):
firearm and one with nothing else, all my first year hostage,
and then told her not to say anything or make
any noise. This was the gunman. But now she didn't listen.

(15:46):
She did say something and apparently my other aunt heard
the situation, came outside to check what is going on,
found out that there was one in the house. Immediately
they're started a wrestling where she did call for her

(16:06):
nephew and a commotion he see it. While that the
gun man no exit the house, leaving the on the
arm out a ceiling inside the house. While they going

(16:27):
man exit, he fired three bullet shots through the whole
through the window, which caused the damage inside and outside.
But I'm not able to see inside the house. But
this is as far as I know.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
I'm sorry, that's funny. I can just imagine this, this
reporter seeing out in Barbados or Turks and Caicos or
Arubo somewhere, and he's standing out and he's got, you know,
a little microphone and a tape recorder, and he's and
he's talking about him. I'm peering through the window and
I can see this, and I can't see that in
the sixty five year old woman shot and kills this intruder,
and I you know, now back to you in a

(17:01):
studio than everybody else that are living in their hut
somewhere or listening to it and watching it and thinking,
oh my gosh, we got a crazy woman out there.
Crazy woman. Let's see a man armed with a fake gun.
We'll start this and finishing on the other side.

Speaker 23 (17:17):
Police have identified the man shot and killed by an
off duty officer.

Speaker 11 (17:21):
Who was carrying a fake gun.

Speaker 23 (17:23):
HI with this News reporter Marcus Solis is live in
Eltingville with the latest Marcus good.

Speaker 24 (17:28):
Morning, good morning chante, and the NYPD says he was
forty four year old Jesse Campbell here from Staten Island,
who was the person that was spotted with that imitation
gun that looked so really prompted a nine one one
call and led to a deadly confrontation with off duty officers.
So this is a picture of that BB gun or

(17:49):
imitation pistol that Campbell was carrying with him. Police say
it started with a nine to one one call from
Andrews Diner on Highland Boulevard around eight clock. Someone spotted
Campbell behind the diner with that weapon called nine one one.
But then a short time later on William Avenue and
off duty NYPD officer spotted the individual with that gun.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
Okay, a guy behind the restaurant with a BB gun
or a fake gun, which are two entirely different things.
A dB gun as well, you know, a gun.

Speaker 25 (18:21):
But I don't understand you Americans. You're assessing about the
second amenities. But amendments SPACEIBA. Second Amendment gives you right
to bear arms bare arms. In Russia, we have right
to hold bear maybe because it's Friday, Sure, why not.

(18:48):
And I'm just like, you know what, that was pretty good. Yep,
that was pretty good.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
Maybe chuckle a little too, yes, not a lot, right.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
Though, Just don't give him a big head, but we
at least smiled. We smiled at it and maybe did
a little. That's cute. Back to our award winner. A
man with a fake gun. So he shows up behind
a restaurant and now the NYPD finds him someplace else.

Speaker 24 (19:14):
Alerted another op duty copped and then they both confronted Campbell,
gave him numerous commands to drop the weapon. Police say
he did not, and that is when one officer opened fire.

Speaker 26 (19:25):
They say that Campbell.

Speaker 24 (19:26):
Allegedly pointed this weapon at one of the officers. Either way,
Campbell was shot multiple times taken to Staten Island University Hospital,
where he was pronounced dead. The Force Investigation Division now
investigating this incident, but the NYPD Staten Island Borough Commander
explains why those officers took action.

Speaker 15 (19:45):
Our officers were confronted with a dangerous and unpredictable situation
and they attempted to de escalate the situation multiple times.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
Again.

Speaker 24 (19:58):
The NYPD's Force Investation Division is investigating the details of
this incident, and we're live in Eltingville, Marcos Sol's Channel seven.

Speaker 3 (20:07):
HI witness woves Yeah, fake gun, not fake gun, be
careful what you do with it. Not yet fatal. But
teenage thugs.

Speaker 11 (20:16):
Are learning more tonight about a double shooting in North Philadelphia.
The victims are both teenagers. Sky Fox over the scene
earlier near the intersection of Broad and Gerard. Dozens of
shots fired. Police say one of the victims is critical.
And see if you spoke with investigators, what are.

Speaker 27 (20:34):
They telling you?

Speaker 7 (20:36):
Well, tonight here at headquarters Philadelphia, police sources tell me
this may be a case of heavily armed teams shooting
at other heavily armed teams. So you've got two school
aged shooting victims here, hit by bullets lasted and a
barrage of gunfire in the after school hour of four o'clock.

Speaker 10 (20:56):
I got a school I heard about at least like thirty.

Speaker 7 (20:58):
Gunshots thirty more than fifty shots fired.

Speaker 10 (21:02):
We know over fifty shots were fired from a semi
automatic weapon or weapons.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
This is a scary site.

Speaker 27 (21:09):
Yes, this is a scary.

Speaker 7 (21:11):
Site, all within sights of surveillance cameras.

Speaker 10 (21:14):
A sixteen year old male was shot in both legs.
He was transported to Temple Hospital stable condition. A seventeen
year old male shot in both arms, both legs, and
at least two times in a tour so he was
transported to Temple Hospital also and he is in critical condition.
The two shooting victims were standing in a group of

(21:35):
about three to five people, and it appeared that the
shooters were intentionally firing into that crowd. The only description
we have right now of the shooters is three males,
all wearing dark colored clothing, last seen fleeing on foot
northbounds on Carlisle Street from Girard Avenue.

Speaker 27 (22:00):
No motive at.

Speaker 10 (22:01):
This time for this double shooting. There was a semi
automatic handgun found on the scene. Now that gun may
have belonged to one of the shooting victims.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
We're not certain.

Speaker 10 (22:13):
We have to watch the recording, possibly enhance the recording
as best we can, which we can do sometimes.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
I was right down the street. I was on my
way out of school.

Speaker 27 (22:21):
I was getting out of school, and I was just.

Speaker 3 (22:22):
Very a lot of gunshots.

Speaker 10 (22:23):
I was actually scared to walk this way because I
walking around the corner. I went to obviously wait because
I didn't want to run into it.

Speaker 27 (22:30):
That could have been me in.

Speaker 25 (22:31):
That story, you know.

Speaker 26 (22:31):
So I'm just glad I was in the right place
at the right time.

Speaker 7 (22:36):
So here on Gerard Avenue, just off Broad Street, just
before five pm, when there's always busy intersection is at
its busiest of the day. People and police all here
thought how much worse this could have been.

Speaker 10 (22:50):
Although there's two shooting victims, which is a tragedy, there
could have been more, especially at that time of the
day with that many shots fired.

Speaker 7 (23:00):
Well, we'll have the lap tex here at headquarters up
next with forensics and fingerprints soon telling detectives if the
gun on the ground among all those shots fired was
victims or perpetrators. As police Sheba hope. This is not
a preseason preview to any after school of violence to
come in retaliation for today.

Speaker 3 (23:20):
Oh it's Philadelphia, of course it is. Now this onek's interesting,
I haven't remember, I don't hear these suspect fleeing from
the Popo shot and killed by a homeowner.

Speaker 12 (23:34):
Police on a high speed chase just two days prior,
and is believed to have broken into a residence before
being shot by the homeowner. According to the Kanawk County
Sheriff's Office. Joshua Duff of Mountain Zion, West Virginia, was
shot and killed on August eighth. Defy say Duff attacked
a homeowner at a residence on Lick Branch Road with
a knife and a baseball bat. The homeowner shot and

(23:54):
killed Duff. The investigation determined that just two days prior,
Duff had led law enforcement on a high speed chase
in a stolen car, eventually ditching the vehicle and escaping
into the woods not far from where he was later shot.
The investigation remains ongoing and no final charges have been
filed against the homeowner.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
Hmm, don't run from the puck from the cops. Yes,
have we got time for this? Thugs killing thugs? You
might call that a win.

Speaker 23 (24:26):
Win to New York City and a deadly shooting at
a nightclub New York City.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
I'm shocked.

Speaker 23 (24:33):
Into New York City and a deadly shooting at a
nightclub overnight, Three people killed, several more hurt.

Speaker 3 (24:39):
May England.

Speaker 6 (24:40):
Is that the scene for us?

Speaker 3 (24:42):
I'm sorry, mister producer, you got a question or a comment.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
I didn't think you could have a gun in New York.

Speaker 3 (24:47):
Well, only the elite can Oh yeah, yeah, so these
are this is obviously an elite nightclub and these are
elitists that have guns, gotcha. Yeah, you just have to
learn read between the lines.

Speaker 23 (24:58):
To New York City and a deadly sh shooting out
a nightclub overnight. Three people killed, several more hurt. Maya
England is at the scene for us and Maya what
else are we learning about what happened?

Speaker 28 (25:10):
Hallie Investigators say they are still searching for up to
four possible shooters who left three people dead and nine
injured at this Brooklyn lounge called Taste of the City.
Authority say the shooting happened around three point thirty this
morning and they've recovered over fully forty bullet casings.

Speaker 11 (25:27):
According to officials, this.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
Could be gang related.

Speaker 28 (25:30):
New York City Mayor Eric Adams came to the scene today.
Here's a bit of what he had to say.

Speaker 29 (25:36):
Well, when you have a shooting of this magnitude is shakeshoot.
And we're going to continue to do our job and
we're asking the residents to assist in any information that
they have.

Speaker 28 (25:50):
In a social media post, the lounge expressed its condolences.
Right now. Police say no arrest happened made Hallie.

Speaker 3 (25:58):
Probably no arrest will be even think make an arrest.
What are they gonna do with them? Anyway? Another award winner,
two armed thugs pick an off duty cop, which probably
might just may turn out to be a big mistake.

Speaker 27 (26:12):
Police say, two men on a moped rode up to
that officer last night on West one hundred and seventy
You know what I.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
Think about committee or crime particular one where I want
to get away, I always think.

Speaker 27 (26:24):
Moped at Police say, two men on a moped rode
up to that officer last night on West one hundred
and seventy third and Amsterdam Avenue. One hopped off and
then pulled out a gun. We're told the situation quickly
escalated and the officer took out his gun and fired
multiple shots.

Speaker 5 (26:40):
Well, let's get to Eyewinness News supporter Filtate joining us
live at this scene in Washington Heights with more.

Speaker 3 (26:45):
Good morning, Phil Crandro Sandro, Good morning.

Speaker 5 (26:49):
That investigation is still underway in an active scene here
one hundred and seventy third Street. More than a dozen
markers are down right now. The Crime Scene Union is
here on the ground after an off duty police officer
fatally shot an armed moped riding suspect. This is around
nine to forty five last night. The violence all unfolded
after the two men approached the off duty officer and
