Speaker 1 (00:00):
Michael, it seems like the lives have quite a bit of.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Money for attorneys.
Speaker 1 (00:05):
The ladies from the Federal Reserve that Trump fired is
filing a lawsuit abrego. The clown Show has more attorneys
than I've ever heard of.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
Who's paying for all these guys mngos.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
And just as we have, for example, in Colorado, I
actually should say in the Rocky Mountain region, we have
the Mountain States Legal Foundation. They they'll take on individuals,
farmers and ranchers, maybe you know, a small wildcatter, and
(00:45):
they'll represent them in cases against you know, the government
or other entities, and they rely on contributions.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
You think some of them are maybe doing it pro
bono just so they get their name out there, and.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
Some lawyers will do it pro bono. There will be
law firms in DC that will take on this because
they'll do it pro bono to get their name out there.
They'll also do it pro bono to get their name
out there because they want other Democrats to see that
they're helping so they might get other cases. Exactly. It's
all it's an entirely marketing ploy. And then you have
(01:19):
all the non government organizations, the nngos, that get taxpayer
money to do you know, services, and some of those
service services might include lawyers, legal counseling, so you pay
for it. So it's a combination of both private and
(01:40):
public moneies that go to support like like kag and
like the I've cooked.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
Is that her name? I forget the Federal Reserve board member, which.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
By the way, I didn't play the SoundBite this morning,
but somebody, uh, let me see, it's probably still in
my list.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
She is the one here. It is.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
This is hilarious that this is MSNBC and this is
from I think yesterday, but MSNBC's commenting on it is
it's Lisa Cook. She is the member of the Federal
Reserve who is accused of telling two separate mortgage companies,
(02:27):
I think one in Michigan, maybe one in Massachusetts that
the mortgage she was applying for was for her primary
residence and that she was going to live in that home,
which is one of the considerations taken in uh, one
of the factors taken into consideration by the underwriters when
(02:50):
they're looking about whether or not to approve your loan.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
She happens to be black.
Speaker 5 (02:57):
Samone you wrote about that other attentive, iring the one
at the FED.
Speaker 6 (03:01):
The pieces entitled Trump's attack on Lisa Cook is an
attack on all of us.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Tell us about it.
Speaker 7 (03:07):
Well, you know, Donald Trump is trying to do something
an American president has never ever been able to do,
fire a sitting governor on the Board of Governors of
the Federal Reserve. And this has real implications. Now, he
is not the first president to put pressure on the FED,
but there's been a pattern here, and I would argue,
notably in the nineteen seventies when Nixon I'm trying to
(03:29):
pressure the FED to increase his reelection chances. The economy
had to deal with those effects, inflationary effects for the
next decade. So this is not just about Lisa Cook's job,
I would argue. I think it's about folks out there
in the country. It's about the people are who are
watching their job, their mortgage, their retirement, their debt, the
(03:51):
groceries at their grocery store.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
The price is there.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
Wow, that's actually I'm working on a story about the
Federal Reserve and it's so called independence, and that I
believe in the independent FED. However, the way to make
it independent is to narrow its jurisdiction because it's gotten
(04:15):
way out of line when I finished putting that together.
I'll do that maybe this week or next. But so
here's Simone Sanders talking about the firing of Lisa Cook.
She Trump's, you know, causing everything. Oh my gosh, it's
all you know. If you're worried about the mortgage rates,
Trump's fault. If you're worried about your credit card rates,
(04:37):
Trump's fault. Wait, wait a minute, who sets interest rates?
Speaker 8 (04:40):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (04:40):
Yeah, the Federal Reserve. But let's blame Trump and then
get to the crux of the matter.
Speaker 9 (04:45):
And if she.
Speaker 7 (04:47):
Is successfully removed by the Trump administration, by the president,
then what is to stop the president from going on
a range of other firings. The Federal Reserve has a
very important role that they played, The Board of Governors.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
Play a very important role.
Speaker 7 (05:03):
And are we going to allow the whims of one
man to control this entire apparatus?
Speaker 3 (05:09):
And I also, well, wait a minute, he's the president.
He does control the executive branch.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
So well.
Speaker 7 (05:15):
Note it is not lost on me that you know
the person Donald Trump decided to single out with Lisa
cut who is the only black woman serving on the
Board of governors who want who earned her seat after
a very bruising confirmation battle. So I just would argue
if there were issues, I'm.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
Ah, there you go, it's racist. Trump's a racist trying
to fire the only black woman on the board of
the Federal Reserves.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
Huh.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
Well, does the alternaty mean that you can lie on
your applications for a federally insured home loan and because
you're black you can get away with that. See, all
you gotta do is you start throwing it right back
at them. I got in trouble for talking about Christianity
(06:00):
at the beginning of the program because well, we had
a school shooting at a church school, at a Catholic school,
and somebody's out there listening to music because I said
the word Jesus too many times. Well, so I'm going
to try to make up for it. Let's instead talk
about islamis radical Islam, which has been expanding at the
(06:20):
expense of Western civilization for I don't know more than
a thousand years now, for centuries. Radical islamis its advance
was well, quite frankly, it was retarded by the military
superiority of the West. But as this dumb astery eats
away at our will to defend ourselves and our culture.
(06:44):
The conquest has gone back into high gear, and not
only in Europe. Muslims, as we well know, it's well documented,
have established a colony from which to expand in Dearborn, Michigan.
Let's go back to November of twenty twenty one. Lahammad
ark Mood, I think it may be pronounced ark Mood
(07:05):
made history. Is the first Arab American and Muslim elected
is the mayor Dearborn. In twenty twenty two. Just a
year later, he elevated Issa Shaheen to become the city's
first Muslim police chief. Consequently, do you think there are
any consequences to these actions? Yes, Non Muslims get punished
(07:29):
for reckless words, while Islamis are shielded when they chant
open incitement. Give you an example. Anthony Young, twenty seven
years old, made a foolish comment about the annual and again,
I'm not Islamas so I'm sure I'm mispronouncing this Rbiyan
(07:53):
March Arbaiyan March that took place in Dearborn. He was
having an argument on Facebook. This march is what you
will have instead of saying Fourth of July parade or
an Independence Day parade after we've been absorbed into Islam.
Islamism in this country. It commemorates. This parade commemorates a
(08:17):
battle from sixteen eighty a d in which Mohammad's grandson
was killed. Now, Young's alleged comment was actually, and I agree, unadvisable.
In fact, it was stupid of him to say this.
He said, and I quote, somebody should show up and
(08:38):
let a couple of clips out. Now I can't defend that,
but was he really threatening to commit violence or in
any serious way instigating somebody else to do so? I
would question whether or not it was an actual insight
or a cault of violence. It was probably actually his
dislike of Islam or Islamist that it slip out unadvisable.
(09:04):
He was writed out to the dearborn cops, possibly by
somebody the name of Rebecca Ann Renner, whose background is
a case study and instability. She used to dabble in
witchcraft under the Facebook handle whitchi Mom three point zero,
and she openly admits that she once prepared her ritual
to curse Israeli Prime Minister Nataniel and then within months
(09:26):
she could have pivoted from casting spells against Israel to
proclaiming herself a Muslim revert publicly celebrating her conversion at
the Islamic Center of America. Well, thanks to the tip
to the cops, the Pope Poe declared that they got
the white male who was making dangerous online threats. Now
(09:50):
over in the United Kingdom, there's a two tier justice
system under which the islam As colonists are allowed to
do anything they want to do, and the Brits, the
actual you know, native Brits, are imprisoned for objecting to
what the Islamists are doing to their country. Well, in
(10:11):
dearborn mission, they're going to follow suit because last year
at a Couds Cuds Day militant rally, and dearborn Abdullah
Achmut himself admitted that violent chants of death to America
and death to Israel were shouted from the stage. Now,
(10:33):
death to Israel and death to America means literally that
they want to destroy the country. They want to destroy Israel.
It is the great Satan. Well, actually we're the great Satan.
They're the junior Satan.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
Israel is.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
In light of the attacks nine to eleven inciting mobs
of Islamis with demands of death to America is probably
going to result in violence, probably more so than an
offhand remark by Anthony Young on a Facebook page, but
that was not to be considered when they balance the equity,
so to speak, for the police to decide what to do.
(11:14):
The inconsistency is consistent with Islam under Shrea Islamic law.
Justice is not universal, but teared Muslims are going to
Islamis are going to enjoy full protection while non Muslims
are tolerated. But only if you submit, pay the Islamist
(11:35):
tax and accept your inferior status. And if you have
anything critical to say about Islam, we'll get it off
your chest now while you still can, because soon you
won't be able to courtesy of the Rare Foundation coming
to us from the ABC seven affiliate.
Speaker 5 (11:56):
Okay, guys, so quick, story time.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Trick going and here we go. Look what water weight
does to your body? Adds maybe I should pay for
you know, the.
Speaker 6 (12:12):
Full night with the man facing charges after posting violent
threats directed in marchers in Dearborn over the weekend. Welcome
to seven News to try to six. I'm Carolyn Clifford.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
And I'm like Duffy, thank you for joining us.
Speaker 10 (12:25):
The twenty seven year old man from Garden City posted
on Facebook quote someone should show up and let a
couple clips out, suggesting someone should open fire on them.
It was in response to the arbay in peace procession
held in Dearborn on Saturday.
Speaker 6 (12:39):
Seven News Detroit has obtained the arrest video of the
suspect behind the post, just hours after it happened.
Speaker 10 (12:45):
SEVENS Detroit reporter for Ozjavid has more from investigators and
what the suspect setting court.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
That may amount to an admission.
Speaker 11 (12:53):
This is exclusively acquired bodycam footage of the Dearborn Police
Department arriving at a home in gardens Well looking to
arrest a twenty seven year old suspect. This is when
Anthony James Young was apprehended Saturday around seven pm, five
hours after allegedly threatening peaceful Aubagne marchers in Dearborn over
(13:15):
the weekend got to an argument on Facebook. Young was
a rained Monday at the nineteen District Court for posting
this message on Facebook, someone should show up and let
a couple of clips out. Judge Mark Summers read out
two misdemeanor counts of malicious use. Of telecommunications services.
Speaker 12 (13:31):
I understand you've got charsis a misdemeanor out of felony.
This is not child's play in this In this day
and age, every third person is of the soule rival
start talking about somebody emptying their clips into a crowd
of people.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
I kind of think this judge might be an anti
gunner in this day and age when everybody's got three
ar fifteen is.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
Not child's play.
Speaker 8 (13:53):
I understand the nature and are completely regretful.
Speaker 11 (13:57):
The police say no guns were found on young but
found guilty. He faces up to one year in prison.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
That was pretty scary.
Speaker 8 (14:03):
I mean, you know, I was just glad that the
dearbork Poe police one head and actually got.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
Ahold of that suspect.
Speaker 11 (14:09):
Twenty nine year old Massar al Kader was at the
march with his family along with tens and thousands of
people to mark the end of Ashura, an annual Islamic
commemoration of Imam Hussein.
Speaker 8 (14:21):
At the end of the day, I mean, you know,
we just got taken on the chin, and you know,
we just got to go ahead and be thankful that,
you know, we got a really go to passionate, really
amazing a police force.
Speaker 13 (14:30):
Yeah, we don't waste any time when there's a threat
made against our community.
Speaker 11 (14:33):
Deer Warren Police Chief Issa Shahin is proud of the
community for bringing the threat to the department's attention and
off his officer's ability to identify and arrest the suspect.
It isn't un for proven guilty, but regardless, when you
hear such threats being made towards the community, this is
not the first.
Speaker 13 (14:49):
Sadly, it's entirely unacceptable and there's no room for that
in the City of Dearborn. So whenever these, unfortunately do
occur or should occur, we will spare no expense or
with our local and state partners, our federal partner to
make sure to hold those folks accountable. And the reality
is far too often our coxmunity has been targeted for reasons,
for various reasons, and it's unacceptable and I can assure
you that the Mayor and I have no room for it.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
Now.
Speaker 11 (15:10):
Young will be back in court on September seventeenth. Meanwhile,
the judge is shoot at five thousand dollar bond and
if released, Young will be placed on a GPS tether
and prohibited to access the Internet and dearborn and Van's
JOVID seven years Detroit.
Speaker 3 (15:26):
So you have a Muslim reporting on this guy making
a stupid and I totally agree. I think the comment
was unacceptable. He should he shouldn't have made the comment.
But we're going down a path where and frankly a misdemeanor.
I disagree with the judge when he was shocked. He
(15:48):
was filed as a misdemeanor. It's not a felon. He
doesn't own any guns, he had no ability to do it.
Was he really inciting or was it a stupid comment?
How lead is that for you to judge? I think
it was a stupid comment.
Speaker 9 (16:09):
Maybe if you would have said a Zeus instead of Jesus,
you wouldn't have got in trouble.
Speaker 3 (16:15):
Just a thought, No, I would have been I would
have been in trouble regardless.
Speaker 4 (16:23):
The lawn guy, what's what?
Speaker 12 (16:26):
The what?
Speaker 4 (16:27):
The lawn guy? The guy that cuts the grass?
Speaker 2 (16:29):
Hey Zeus?
Speaker 14 (16:30):
Oh no, you're you're you're a despicable human being. You
know that you're welcome. Thank you.
Speaker 4 (16:38):
I'll be here all week until my badge it doesn't work.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
Again, which we all check every morning. We all take
you know, my mine's in my holy oh that I
carry my phone in and every morning I just knowly
put it up, knowing am I going to turn around?
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Or am I going to go in?
Speaker 4 (16:59):
They read three times and if it does, I turn
my ass right around.
Speaker 3 (17:05):
Oh so if I go to the fourth try to
come back onto the fourth floor, I can just ashow
it then that I've been terminated and well, yeah, go home.
Speaker 2 (17:14):
Yeah, everybody has.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
Democrats have their own version of a famous proverb.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
If at first you don't succeed, what are you supposed
to do?
Speaker 4 (17:28):
Spend more money?
Speaker 2 (17:29):
Cheat?
Speaker 4 (17:30):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
Before she assumed office in twenty twenty two, Congresswoman Sheila
Cherfless McCormick cherefulest McCormick. I don't know, I don't care.
She's a Democrat from Florida. She was always a perennial
candidate on the fringes in Florida.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
She was the one that.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
First challenged income but Alsie Hastings, Democrat of Florida who
used to be a federal judge who was impeached for
taking bribes. So if you get impeached for taking bribe, gbes,
what's your advancement? What do you do to go to
a higher level, you know, like you start in the
mail room and you want to become the CEO. You
(18:10):
get impeached for taking bribes. At the judicial level, you
get in trouble, So you go to an easier place
to take bribes where you don't get in trouble. You
get elected to Congress anyway. Sheila Schrifleus McCormick challenged Alsie
Hastings in the twenty eighteen and twenty twenty primaries. She
raised less than one hundred and ten thousand dollars during
(18:32):
those campaigns. She lost both those campaigns in line in landslides.
Alicie Hastings died in twenty twenty one. She wound up
taking his vacated seat because she wanted December twenty twenty
one primary election by five one, two three four five votes.
(18:56):
But this time money wasn't the problem. She put two
point six million dollars of her own money into the campaign,
which impresses me because she reportedly earned only eighty six
thousand dollars the prior year. Oh but then we find
(19:21):
out how she got the money. The same day that
Alsie Hastings, the impeached judge former congressman now dead Congressman,
the Florida Department of Emergency Management, which I know quite well,
got an invoice from something called Trinity health Care Services.
The CEO of Trinity Healthcare Services just happened to be
(19:46):
the now Congresswoman Churfless McCormick. It was the first of
seventeen invoices that Trinity health Care Services submitted to FDN
the Florida Department of Emergency Services. It brought the firm
(20:07):
five point eight million dollars in taxpayer funds quote that
it was not entitled to and had not earned, according
to a lawsuit filed by the Florida Department of Emergency Services,
in a lawsuit filed this past December accusing the company
(20:28):
run by this woman of theft by conversion, Trinity didn't
return the mispaid or illegally gotten gains in twenty twenty one. Instead,
it paid six point two million dollars in profit sharing
fees to this woman, who then doled out more than
(20:50):
four point two million dollars in loans to her twenty
twenty one. In twenty twenty two campaigns efforts that raised
less than two hundre at eighty thousand dollars, but she
had loaned Monday she had gotten from the Florida Department
of Emergency Management in funds allegedly stolen by appropriation by
(21:12):
conversion to her campaign, which means that the campaign then
could pay her back those funds. Now as a member
of Congress, she now has the authority to spend our
money now regarding the dead congressman that she replaced, The
eleven Circuit Court of Appeals concluded that Hastings had committed perjury,
(21:34):
tampered with evidence, and conspired to accept bribes, recommending his
impeachment to the House of Representatives back in nineteen eighty seven.
The House adopted seventeen articles of impeachment in nineteen eighty
eight by an overwhelming vote of four hundred and thirteen
to three. In nineteen eighty nine, the US Senate convicted
Hastings on eight of the articles, including charges of bribery, perjury,
(21:56):
and falsifying documents, and they kicked him out of office,
but the Senate did not disqualify him from holding future office.
Thus he became a US Congressman. He succeeded upwards so
his broward Palm Beach County district, the most Democrat infested
district in the state of Florida went back to electing him.
(22:21):
He got it re elected so many times. He achieved
a leadership position on the Foreign Affairs and the Rules Committee,
as well as the perman Select Committee on Intelligence. A
guy that accepts bribes ends up on the Intel Committee. Now,
no doubt it helps that he was the first. He
was the historic first African American federal judge in Florida,
(22:43):
appointed by Jimmy Carter and boasting six arrests as civil
rights demonstrations.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
So Sheila scherflus.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
McCormick benefits from politically preferred pigmentation. We should sit back
and watch her star rise and be absolutely impressed. Now,
lawsuit hasn't been determined yet, just recently filed. But if
indeed she was somehow able to convert this money that
(23:19):
she got illegally from the Florida Department of Emergency Management
loan some of that through a profit sharing fee that
she paid to herself of four point two million dollars,
she'll pay herself back with ill gotten gains out of
her campaign fund. I wonder if US Congress will ever
do anything if and when the lawsuit is determined she
(23:41):
actually did steal money from the Florida Department of her
Emergency Management, because well, that seems to fit the standard
practice of Democrats in the House of Representatives.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
Seems ranged to me.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
Former Ohio Governor John Casey, He's pretty liberal. He's a
friend of mine. I've known John Kaseick for a long time.
He's a widely regarded Rhino. Is appalled that the media
would tell us that inner city crime is a manufactured crisis.
Now that Trump's out there trying to take steps to
(24:23):
clean it up, he will see how long he lasts
on MSNBC as a contributor when he spouts off, where's my.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
Oh to your state?
Speaker 5 (24:40):
What it means when it comes in to you, governor. Look,
you understand very clearly what it means when the National
Guard comes into your state, what it means when it
comes in to your to a community. Donald Trump essentially
said today that you know what.
Speaker 12 (24:58):
Not only was he.
Speaker 5 (24:58):
Not happy that he wasn't being thanked for this, he
suggested that there are people who want a dictator. He says,
I'm not a dictator and being accused of being a dictator,
but some people may want someone to come in and
take control. So I wonder how you see this and
what the options are for governors in this case.
Speaker 9 (25:19):
Well, I mean, I have to tell you I have
such a different take than what we've just heard to
talk about a manufactured crisis. Have you been in Chicago?
Have you been in Baltimore? But my daughter went to
school in Chicago. I remember the day she graduated there
were shootings and killings right outside of her building.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
And in Baltimore.
Speaker 9 (25:41):
I have friends that go down to Johns Hopkins get
treated for medical conditions. I mean, they're nervous about it
ever going there. There are parts of Baltimore that he
tells me he wouldn't go into it.
Speaker 4 (25:52):
This is not some right wing person.
Speaker 9 (25:54):
This is somebody who wants to be able to go
into some of our great cities and be able to
be safe.
Speaker 2 (26:00):
I do think it's.
Speaker 9 (26:01):
Important that if you're going to do this, you've got
to define the mission. You've got to talk about your authority.
And I think one of the earlier guests was saying that,
you know, well, maybe.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
There's narrow ways to do it.
Speaker 9 (26:12):
I agree with that, but that just then says that
there are ways to do it. And if I had
had a crisis in Cleveland, we thought we were going
to have riots or in Columbus or whatever. I would
never have put you know, the fact that I'm governor,
so I would I would want to work with other
people who wanted to help me. And look, what's been
happening in Chicago has been terrible. The crime rate is high,
(26:35):
the gang problem is real. I tried to get Arnie Duncan,
the former education secretary under Obama, to run for mayor.
He's out there trying to work to get, you know,
to deal with the gang problem.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
He didn't want to do it.
Speaker 9 (26:48):
But I think Chicago is a jewel of America and
we just cannot let long, lessiness and fear dominate these cities.
So yeah, I think we need to know what the
mission is. I think we need to know with the authorities.
I think we need to know what the length is.
But the idea that these cities are somehow fine, Oh,
I think you're just anybody. I mean, listen, I heard
(27:11):
a manufacturing crisis. This is a manufactured crisis.
Speaker 4 (27:15):
No it's not. It is a crisis.
Speaker 5 (27:18):
You're going at something here.
Speaker 3 (27:20):
Oh we're gonna do it. Well, we're gonna let you
go now. Uh, you keep accusing. Yeah, we said manufactured crisis.
But no, no, no, let's move on. Let's move on.
I'll be right back.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
I just want to thank you for a good time
this morning.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
Well I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
Speaker 4 (27:40):
That makes me nervous when when I know I complishment
it just gave me.
Speaker 14 (27:46):
I got it. Just feel uneasy, not goosebumps. I got us.
Speaker 2 (27:51):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (27:52):
Dragon handed me a story this morning that the headline
is it comes from Westward Denver mayor participates in Reddit.
AMA asked me anything to talk layoffs local crime. So
I pulled up the AMA to see what oh yeah,
to see what was on Reddit about it. This is
from a day ago. I'm Mayor Johnston here from my
(28:14):
third Denver AMA. Good morning, Denver, Mayor Johnston here.
Speaker 4 (28:20):
Oquick. It is interesting that he would do an AMA
on Reddit versus go on the afternoon show on our
sister station KOA, which the mayor's role has had a
long standing thing for a long time. Minute since like
three or four mayors. Oh yes, yeah, and he just
doesn't do it anymore.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
Now, which which show are you talking about, Mandy? He
won't go on with the blonde chick.
Speaker 2 (28:42):
Correct. Yeah, holy cow, come on.
Speaker 4 (28:44):
Many they've literally stopped asking because Mandy.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
Why don't you take the show to him? Why don't
you go to a remote down the steps of the
City and County Building.
Speaker 4 (28:52):
But like two or three previous mayors had no problems.
They always came on like monthly. Yeah, but this one
he was a regular thing. That's the mayor. Yep, this one,
but now he's on Reddit. Didn't do it at all.
Speaker 3 (29:02):
Well, here's an even better part. I'll log on my
ten thirty say for about an hour AMA exclamation point
ice braker to get us started. I got to check
out the infamous tunnels beneath Denver International Airport this summer.
Happy to share exactly what I saw down there.
Speaker 14 (29:19):
Edit.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
