court is ruled that a mid Vermont Christian school can
participate in Vermont's sports leagues. Why is that important because
it overturns a band imposed after the school Remember this

forfeited a high school girls basketball game when they were
competing against a team that had a biological male transgender athlete.
The US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit granted
the school a preliminary injunction on September nine, allowing it
to rejoin the Vermont Principals Association while the legal proceedings continue.

The court then said, we conclude that players are likely
to succeed in showing that the Virginia Principals Association's expulsion
of Mid of mid Vermont was not neutral because it
displayed hostility toward the school's religious beliefs. Now that comes

back from it again, It seems like yesterday. The school's
decision in twenty twenty three to simply walk away to
forfeit the game because they were concerned about the fairness
and the player's safety because there was a humongous transgender
athlete on the opposing team. And then after they forfeited
the game, the Sports Association said that the school violated

policies on race, gender, and disability awareness and barred it
from participating in any state sponsored events, including sports debate
tournaments and science fairs. So a basketball team forfeits a
game and then everybody gets punished. Isn't that the way
the left works. You did something that we think is wrong.

We were going to punish there, everybody where. Pune's the
entire school, and once again, Alliance Defending Freedom stepped up,
representing the school, the students, and the parents, arguing the
state violated the school's First Amendment rights. Alliance Defending Freedom
said the school acted to avoid compromising its religious beliefs well.

The appellate court, in overturning the injunction, criticized the Sports
Association the Principals Association for its actions, describing the ban
as quote unprecedented, overbroad, and procedurally irregular, and it also
pointed to comments made by the executive director of the

association Jay Nichols, who testified in favor of banning public
funds for religious schools. He had reportedly said, thank goodness,
the student in question didn't attend that religious school, which
the Court said, well, wait a minute, that statement is
evidence of your hostility toward the school's religious stans. Now, obviously,

the Trump administration supported state efforts to block the transgender
athletes from competing in girls' sports, and at least twenty
six states have now enacted state laws restricting such participation,
and the DOJ is taking legal action against several states,
including Maine, that are attempting to circumvent the federal rules.

Court will address the constitutionality of these bands in its

renew or to get your concealed carry permit. Well, that
new firearms training requires that the trainers be verified, and
by verified, that means that your county sheriff has to
approve the trainer. Well, we've now discovered that in many

counties in Colorado there are no trainers available, and the
sheriffs don't know whether, Well, so do I approve a
trainer that's from a different county? Can I do that
some sheriffs are some sheriffs or not? But then there's
an additional requirement, and that additional requirement is that you
also have to include live fire training in your training.

I don't know, but I would guess that there are
some counties in rural Colorado that don't have a shooting range,
either indoor or outdoor, just don't have one. That raises
the question, well, then if I live in County X
and there's not a verified trainer, and even if there

was a verified trainer, where are we going to go
do our live shooting as part of the training program. Well,
there's not a range indoor or outdoor. So now if
you live in that county, you can't get a concealed
kerry permit, which I think is unconstitutional to begin with.
But you know that I don't think you should have
a license to exercise your Second Amendment right, particularly when

what you're doing is you're trying to make yourself safer
by concealing your weapon. We often forget about that. Why
do people prefer I know some people prefer to open carry.

law is going to be held unconstitutional. It is an
extraordinary burden on the Second Amendment. And by the way,

the Douglas County Sheriff and say, hey, I want to
be a verified trainer, and then we'll all go out

talk about firearms safety, and then we'll go over to
