One of them was his three observationsfrom spring training, and I'm only going
to focus on two of them becausei think that they are the most important
ones. Number one is something thathas bared our eyeballs. We needed to

playing baseball against left handed pitchers,because Evan Carter against left handed pitchers is
a rookie last year, which isweird to say because he'll also be a
rookie this year because he didn't playenough to not be a rookie and he's
still rookie. He was one foreighteen against lefties, which is in a

huge sample size, but they intentionallytried to protect him from that because he
has had his struggles with lefties,as they will do. And so how
has he done this spring when they'relike, we ain't hiding him in the
spring, we want reps, wewant to work at this. Well,
the answer to how he has doneis, I need to know who he

faced in his second at bat todayin their spring training game, because he
has two hits today and I knowat least one of them was off of
a lefty. And before this game, he was three for twelve against lefties,
which is two fifty, which ifhe could do that against lefties,
sign me up. But it's possiblethat he's now five for fourteen or five
for fifteen against lefties. So hemay be batting over three hundred in spring

against the left handed men, andit's spring. It's spring. Doesn't mean
you would get that same result againsta regular season pitcher. Doesn't mean that
