(01:53):
All right, so I'm gonna startthis segment talking about something that I
haven't really talked about much or thoughtabout much, Taylor in quite a while.
Have you ever thought about it alittle bit, but not lately until
this weekend, and that's Saturday NightLive. I don't know, man,

(02:14):
Yeah, you just think it's SGbut Saturday Night Live. Oh it's super
good. Yeah no, no,I don't think. I don't know.
This is the first one in awhile that I've seen things on social media,
so I know what happened. Yeah, I know at least one thing
that happened. Yeah. Well,I told you all Friday that it was
going to be Ryan Gosling as theguest host and Chris Stapleton is the music

(02:39):
act. So It had my attentionfor sure, because I really love both
of those people, and this wasa really good one, and everybody was
talking about it on social media becauseRyan Gosling was really funny and there's a
couple different skits that he did thatwe're getting everybody talking. The first one

(03:05):
I do have to touch on becauseit was during his monologue at the beginning
of the show where Ryan Gosling waslike fighting the image of Ken with himself
because he's trying to leave Ken behindand move forward in his life, but
he just can't because he loves Kenso much. And it actually turned into

(03:28):
like, yeah, he's trying tojust be Ryan instead of just Ken.
And he ended up like singing hismonologue to a remixed version of Taylor Swift's
All Too Well song, which isthe one that she has like the ten
minute version of It's just this longballad. It's a really good song.

(03:52):
So he redid it, and uh, it's a weird song, but it's
a good song. It's it's weirdbecause it's like never ending and when she's
real jammed up that somebody didn't cometo her house on Tuesday night or whatever,
Yeah, just her birthday party orwhatever, like when she was twenty

(04:12):
yeah something, And I think thisone was about Jake Jillenhall, like the
original All too Well, that wasabout Jake Jillenholme. But Ryan Gosling did
his own version of this where he'slike battling his Kin image where he's trying
to put the character to bed,and then all of a sudden, Emily
Blunt pops on and she makes asurprise appearance. She sings with him,

(04:33):
and she acts like she's all madat him because he's trying to get rid
of Kin so he can promote theirnew movie, which is coming out fairly
soon, called The Fall Guy.And that's also why you saw Ryan Gosling
and Emily Blunt like presenting together atthe Oscars and why she made this appearance

(04:53):
with Ryan. So that's kind ofhow his appearance started. And he sings
the song and it's real cute, but the one that everybody was talking about
had me dying laughing. And Idon't remember the last time I laughed as
hard at Saturday and Night Live. But it was the Beavis and butt Head
sketch that they did. I sawthis in the break You watched it,

(05:16):
well, I was going potty.I watched some of it. I watched
it once, uh once Ryan Goslingbecame butt head and what's his name freaked
out again? That is when Istopped walking. Keenan Thompson, Yeah,
so Yeah, he's hilarious and inthis sketch, he's probably the only one

(05:38):
that didn't break character and start laughing, which I think made it so much
funnier. Whenever the cast started laughing. I guess that's something that Lauren michael
Is, the creator of the show, like, really doesn't like when they
just start laughing during it, butI like it too, Like you can't
not laugh when they're laughing, andI think with somebody like Ryan Goslin,

(06:00):
I don't know. To me,it's just like when they're acting, they're
not them, and when they're eveneven on Saturday Night Live, they're acting
like other people. But when theybreak down and laugh, you're like,
that's the real life Ryan Gosling. And he has a really hilarious sense of
humor because he's laughing so hard atthis and makes you love him even more.
But basically this sketch was framed asan episode of News Nation, and

(06:23):
you had an ai skeptical professor, which was Keenan Thompson in this case,
chatting with a journalist who's played byHeidi Gardner, and then less than a
minute into him. You know,at these like town hall meetings, it's
usually the people that are on stagehaving the discussion, and then like all
these random characters just sitting around likewhoever's from the town or whatever. Yeah,

(06:46):
just no rhyme or to the peoplethat are just sitting there, and
they're all very serious listening to thisdiscussion that's going on on the stage.
Well, one of the people thatwas sitting there listening to this discussion was
Ryan Gosling all done up to looklike Beavis from Beavis and butt Head.
Like, he looks so much likeBeavis. He's got the big blonde hair

(07:12):
that's not a mohawks, it's likethe width of your head, but it's
just like yeah, blonde pompadoor wig. And then like a prosthetic nose.
Look, so there you can seeRyan Gosling shirt. Yeah, he's got
full Beavis going. Yeah. Andso it starts with them trying to have
their conversation and the AI and howit might destroy the world, yes,

(07:35):
and can't focus because Beavis is therebecause and Keenan kind of says like,
well, what's the worst case, you know, thing that could happen or
whatever, and they're saying, well, yeah, AI, you know,
it'll kill us all humans anymore, and it can kill us all and he
just can't focus on this conversation becauseBeavis is sitting there in the audience and

(07:56):
he finally has to ask the moderatorto move Beavis so he can focus,
and then all of a sudden,Beavis moves. But then there's butt Heead
sitting right there, and buttthead looksabsolutely insane with his face, you know,
where his mouth is stuck open, like teeth are hanging out. Oh

(08:16):
my gosh. It's hilarious and soKeenan like Thompson can't handle this as he's
acting as the professor. Heidi Gardner, who's acting as the new news reporter,
is dying laughing to Ryan Gosling's laughing. Anyways, it's one of the
funniest skits that I've seen on SaturdayNight Live in a long time. It

(08:37):
was hilarious. If you haven't seenit yet, you have to go check
it out and you can find iton social media, Mike will make you
watch it because I want to hearwhat you think of it too. I
hope it's better than what they hadon last week. What was that?
I don't know, but I'm sobummed out with Saturday Night Live last I
swear i'd never watch it again.Oh no, Well, I think that's

(08:58):
how a lot of people kind offeel about it now, Like it's just,
you know, there's nothing worse thanlike trying to be funny when it's
not funny. Yeah, Like that'sjust cringey. Plus, we live in
add world. If something on there'sreally funny, I'll see it because it'll
end up on social media. Yeah, and that's actually what I did,
because because I love Keenan and IvoryThompson so much. Yeah you should.

(09:20):
I actually for like Saturday Night,I don't know what we're doing watching Masters
extra coverage or whatever. Yeah,I know that's my life at home.
So I didn't see it, Butthen I saw all of you know,
the tweets and everybody talking about it. The next day, went back and
found it on Peacock and like watchedthe first half of it and saw some

(09:41):
of the good stuff. Another thingthat a lot of people were talking about.
Is Caitlin Clark who joined the guyson the Weekend Update desk. So
I have a little clip here. This is right at the beginning of the
Weekend Update into when they introduced CaitlinClark joining the show. Here, the

(10:03):
University of Iowa announced that basketball starCaitlyn Clark will have her jersey retire and
replaced with an apron well the nw NB Draft. The w NBA Draft
is this Monday, and Iowa starCaitlin Clark is expected to be the number

(10:24):
one pick. Here, the commentis Caitlyn Clark. So I'll play a

(10:46):
little bit more in a second, but basically that's when she joins because this
is is Michael Cha that's sitting upthere, and it's one of his things
is making these, you know, derogatory like jokes against women's sports and women.
And so then she awkwardly joins himon stage and he goes on to

(11:07):
kind of continue putting her on blastthere, and she decides to review all
of his past jokes that he's madeabout women's sports and her in front of
him, and this is what thatsounds like. You make a lot of
jokes about women's sports, don't you, Michael, I wouldn't say a lot.
You know, it's not on theregular. Yeah, I know,

(11:28):
it's definitely a lot. I actuallysort of made a super cut take a
look. Well, no, wedon't have to do. A number of
sports bars around the country are promisingso only show women's basketball games during March
Madness. The bars are known collectivelyas the Empty Ones. A new report
claims that recent stories on the SportsIllustrated website were actually generated by AI,

(11:52):
and it's already making glaring mistakes. For instance, it made up something called
the WNBA. Iowa's final four gameagainst Yukon was the most watched women's college
basketball game ever, with fourteen pointtwo million viewers, beating the previous record
by fourteen point two million views.Wow, seats, thanks man, no

(12:18):
problem. You know, I'm likeChay, I support women who. So
it was pretty funny, and shewent on there to like continue giving him
crap, and it was It wasgreat because I don't know if you ever
imagined her, you know, whenhe's making all those jokes, it's kind
of just a I guess he thinksit's acceptable even though they're really Yeah,

(12:41):
because no one watched sports Yeah, and sometimes I think pretty much at this
point, pretty much every joke isswapped where Colin writes the joke for chay
Jay writes the joke for Colin. So a lot of times they're seeing the
punchline and everything for the first timelive, so there's a little bit of
that. That's why he giggles alot. Yeah, you can kind of
hear them stopping or kind of realizingwhat they're about to say, Like he

(13:05):
had no idea that Caitlin Clark wasobviously about to come on. Yeah,
it was great. It was greatbecause he was caught off guard even with
that apron joke. You can tell, but he's kind of like he's like,
what what Why is no one laughingagain? Because they all know she's
there. Yeah, and then Ithink it's also that Colin wrote that one
for on it. Yeah, Soyeah, it's so great. Yeah,
it's really good. I recommend goingback to watch both of those things.

(13:26):
Caitlin Clark did a really good jobon Saturday Night Live. And I guess
w NBA Draft is going down tonightsix locked days for her totally. Who
do you think is going number two? A? Mandy flap Jacks that's a

(13:46):
good guess. I'm going to finda w NBA mock draft for next segment.
Good guess. All right. Theother thing that everybody was talking about
this weekend was Coach Hella. CoachHella Hella. I went down and did
mister Dallas go to Coachella US everywhereI go everywhere? Wow, But I'm

(14:09):
not here yet. So yeah,Taylor and Travis were there. So it
was all over my timeline because myalgorithm shows me everything Taylor and Travis.
But they were just like in thecrowd with everybody else. It was kind
of cool, just partying. Uh, Mike, I'm going to run through
some of these performers at Coachella, and I want to see if you know
them, okay, because I feelso out of touch and old, like

(14:31):
I don't eat, I've never evenheard of these people. Well you're about
to see how UNHIPI I've heard ofmaybe three or three to four of these.
All right, give me the onestarting with like you know the top
billing Lana del Rey. Okay, yeah, I've heard of that. I
couldn't give you a song though,No, I can't either, but I

(14:52):
know the name. Yeah, she'spretty big, hot soon Miku no ley
seraphim. No, it's not gonnahelp if she can't even say what tees
a t e e z a teasepeso plumah. Do cat heard of that?
Okay? Tyler the Creator heard ofthat? Sabrina Carpenter, No Deftones

(15:20):
heard of them? I Spice noYeao sob now Renee Rap, No,
Sukie Waterhouse, no Young Niko noj Balvin No noticing a trend here?
Luden Miya No, never heard ofluden Miya. Little Uzi Vert? Have

(15:45):
you heard of that? M MaybeI've seen that name written places. Yeah,
I think I think I've seen it, Little Uzi Vert, Yeah,
don't you know? You know he'sgoing to DJ Snake. No dom Dalla,

(16:07):
Yeah, I think I've heard ofdom Dalla you have? I think
Peggy Goal No, Correne Leone, biz a Rap, No Chappelle, Ron
Santa Fe Clan, the Vampire Weekend, Vampire Weekend, Yeah, yeah yeah,

(16:29):
John Summit no, the aquabats,h clown Core no, the Blessed
Madonna, No Baby Wrex Shoopy Okay, yes, your that's right. She
is my favorite late night if Idon't know she was going to be there,

(16:49):
throw a beer at her or whateverhappened on stage she had hit in
the face with something. Yeah, yeah, there was a lot of drama
going on at Coachella. But yeah, I don't know any of these people
anymore, but the kids go crazyfor all of these bands. A couple
of moments from Coachella that I wantedto play for y'all. So there was

(17:12):
a surprise appearance. Coachella is alot I guess about. You know who's
not actually on the list of performers, but who shows up? And Colombian
musician Jay Balvin was performing, uhhuh yeah, and he was totally upstaged
because Will Smith came on stage.Apparently, this j Balvin guy his whole,

(17:40):
no, his whole like theme forthe show was alien stuff wiki alien.
So yeah, what do you thinkWill Smith sang when he showed up
in the middle of this performance thathas an alien esthetic? The best song
ever made at shoo Yo. Youcome to m my bed, she come

(18:17):
to m my bee. No,No, the good God just him black.
Remember that in just in case wehave a face to face and make
contact, sayn't help my beat andmy feet. I mean what you think
you saw? You did not seeto the creek Bean. But with the
ever snow going black, Sue putthe black gray mans on walking shadow proof

(18:41):
of Silence God again for the restof your Simon. But yo, we
ain't going off government list. Westraight don't exist, donats and don't face
the prints. So strange watching backbecause you never quite know where the m
I beas is at. Same crapsong. Okay, that's probably good groovy.
He sounds so good. It's agreat song. It is a great
song. That was a cheat codeyou cast will Smith in your movie.

(19:03):
He would also do the theme song, yeah, kick ass, and they
were always really good. They're sogood. So his whole family was there.
I guess Willow performed. Which partof the family Willow Smith? What
about his daughter, not wife, wife Jada? I think I don't know,
I can't. I just saw likehis whole family was there. She
didn't have like a collar, andhe was all fours walking around behind her,

(19:26):
and she destroyed that man's soul,Yeah she did. Jaden Smith was
there, and he was popping upin some videos where he like was acting
all kind of sexual with Justin Bieber. Is Jaden Jaden's son, But Jaden
is yeah, okay, okay,And so that kind of had people want

(19:49):
her going on with Justin Bieber, who's like rumored to have marital problems right
now with Hailey Bieber maybe and thenand real quick, so Grimes, I
didn't know. I don't know anythingabout Grimes, but she is a Canadian
singer songwriter who actually is the motherof Elon Musk's children. Grime Elon Musk's

(20:17):
baby mama. This is Elon Musk'sbaby mama. And I had heard her
name because of that, but Ididn't know like how or why she was
famous at all. Well, turnsout she's a performer as well, and
she was performing at Coachella and shehad all kinds of technical difficulties during her
performance. Sounds like the first halfwas like okay, but then things started

(20:40):
malfunctioning about halfway through and she justwould scream. Anytime something went wrong,
she'd just scream. And she issuedan apology today and said she's going to
try to make up for it atthe next weekend of Coachella. But this
is a little bit of what itsounded like, because it was just insane.

(21:14):
Actually improved the song. It waslike a montage of Oli her scream.
I like that a lot. That'swhat. Yeah, it's a good
default. If something goes wrong, just make a sound. Yeah, just
scream. It's kind of like you. Yeah, that works for me.
Man. I don't know. Coachellajust seems like such a crazy whoa you

(21:37):
said that backwards? What you said? Man, I don't know. I
don't know, Man, That's howI feel about Coachella. I don't know.
Man, you pay me to goto that festival. I think,
I think I want to become festivalman. Really looks fun, but like
not the one. We have alatent life affinity for festival. I think

(21:59):
so, But I don't want togo if like I can't, I don't
want to sleep in a tent.Is there any live bb rex out there?
I'm sure there is. We canfind that for you later in the
show. There you go. There'sHollywood stuff. Cop it up. Next
is the best damn sports segment period. The real MVP showed up yesterday. It's next
