(00:00):
Hey, you live next day onthe front of my left sideways, I'm
wanted forget you and so you go, he sold sister by train. Oh

(00:22):
yeah, yeah, okay, Ijust hadn't heard it in a long time.
You see. All right, Uh, it's a little bit after three
o'clock and coming up in this hourwe'll have a little Hollywood swinging down at
the bottom of the hour. Butright now it is time to uh get
out the bucket and see what wegot. All we had to give is

(00:44):
watching our bucket. Well, wegot a couple of things. Number one,
we got another Pete Rose situation here. The NBA just banned a guy
for life from the organization. Johntay Porter of the Toronto Raptors has been
banned for life from the NBA.He's twenty four years old. Now,

(01:11):
if you're a loyal listener to thespeakeasy, he may not remember the name.
But this is a guy we talkedabout a little while ago who's the
maybe biggest idiot to ever get involvedin gambling while playing a professional sport.
So he got caught because what happenedis people were making unusual wagers on prop

(01:34):
bets on John tay Porter of allpeople, and those prop bets tended to
be that he would not achieve whateverstats the DraftKings sports book thought he might.
So the over unders are like,is he gonna score nine and a
half points, we'll make a three, we get this many rebounds, And

(01:55):
there was some suspicious betting going onon the specific statistics of John tay Porter.
And in those games, one heleft pretty early because he said he
reaggravated an injury, another one heleft because he said he was sick.
On the games that had unusual bets. So what happened was he told people
to bet that he would not achievecertain stats, and then he took himself

(02:21):
out of games to make sure thathe didn't. And he also told him
bet on it and don't worry aboutit. Yeah, make sure it doesn't
happen. I got you, Yeah, I promise I can control this situation.
Uh huh. And so the thingis is they do have some checks
in place, so like there areflags that go up on these betting sites
that are like, this is unusual, this random player and all of the

(02:44):
big bets are on this side ofit. That's interesting, let's keep an
eye out. And then they watchthe game and go, oh and he
just got sick and they're all goingto win. That's interesting too. You
really thought nobody would pick up onthis. That's what I wonder, is
like, are the checks and balancesthat are in sports to try to keep
people from influencing the outcomes of gamesor I guess the outcomes of wagers,

(03:07):
because in this case, it's notthe outcome of a game, it's the
outcome of just his individual stats.I don't think it's that we have this
amazing set of checks to make surethat no one is able to do it.
I think we just catch the idiots. You couldn't be dumber than that.
Yeah, the game can be run, but if you're really gonna be

(03:30):
dumb about it, you will getcaught. Yeah, they will run over
you. They will run over you. Gotta scatter in some other stuff there.
You can't just show up and belike, I want to bet the
max on under his points and reboundsand then you don't gamble again until the
next game when he tells you he'sgonna get sick, and you're like,
and now I want to do itagain, and they're just like, okay,

(03:51):
all right, So this guy istelling his friends to bet this or
they're betting it for him or whatever, and he has banned for lot.
Dang trying to make a few extrabucks and now you don't have a job.
Yeah, there's something kind of weirdabout it. But I guess it's

(04:12):
not in that like when Sham's Sharniatweets out the update of like this guy's
banned for life. You click onSham's profile and it's like proud FanDuel partner.
It's like, okay, yeah,so it's all very intertwined. But
yeah, this is clearly influencing theoutcome of wagers, and it's separate from
the idea that oh my god,but there's gambling everywhere. Why can't die?

(04:35):
You can, but you just can'tfix it. That's fixing the outcome,
and that is not okay. Yeah, it's cheapening the game. It's
cheapening, tampering with the fabric ofthe game. Yeah, exactly. So
you have the league matt at you, and then obviously the gambling side of
things isn't good, and he hadall kinds of problems with this situation.

(04:59):
Do you think he came up thison his own or do you think someone
was like running it for him andwas like, hey, I have a
great idea. However it was done. It was either done. It was
either his idea or a friend ofhis was like, hey, what do
you think about making some money becauseyou could and you're just like, okay,
I could do that. However itwas done. It was not done
by a mastermind. It was eitherdone by him or a friend asked him

(05:20):
do you think this would work? And he was like, yep, okay,
let you do it. M Maybethey were like drinking whatever. You
got some people to sign up andthought it was a really great idea,
and then all of a sudden, game day comes and he's like, oh
crap, dude, I bet Ican make you up. If you bet
that prop bet you'll win that thousanddollars. I'm gonna get thrown out of

(05:42):
the NBA, but you'll get thatthousand dollars. Yeah, goofballs. Be
better at hiding stuff, that's all. Be better at hiding stuff. Other
stuff in the bucket of crap today. You guys know, I'm a big
proponent for women's basketball. I've alwaysput for more visibility and money and all

(06:02):
those things for women's basketball. Yeah, you never calmed down about all that,
this whole Caitlyn Clark making women's basketballpopular again thing. She made it
so popular that the hot twins thatused to play at Miami are going to
come back and play basketball again.Oh really, they want to get it

(06:23):
on this the Cavendar Twins. Yeah, Mike, you remember the Cavendar Twins.
I don't think. So you area hornball. You remember the Cavendar
Twins. Not a hornball, AndI don't. I don't think I remember
the Cavendar Twins. So they wereat were they somewhere else before Miami?
I know they were at Miami andthey're just you know, there are a

(06:43):
couple of ladies that are quite attractiveand the twins, and they played college
basketball and that turned into like theywere one of the first ones when nil
got legal. It was like andyou're hot, guess what, have some
money? And so they got abunch of money, and they got real
popular, and they got a bunchof money, and so they were just
like, all right, we haveone year of eligibility left, but we're

(07:04):
good here. We're gonna take off. And so they didn't play college basketball
last year. They just but theyhad a bunch of endorsements, and as
every hot girl with an Instagram followingdoes, they did come up with six
week fitness programs that you could signup for. Well, if you wanted
to be a part of that, that's something, yeah, if you wanted
to be like them. And oneof them was dating Jake Ferguson, right,

(07:29):
is that right? Yeah? Didthey break up? I don't know.
I'll stake a cowboy yeah, yeah, yeah, I think it was
him. Was definitely a cowboys tightend, you know what. That would
make sense, and it would makesense if they're still together. Yeah,
because I'll tell you why. Itell you why. These girls are twins,
so they've always played together. Oneannounced that she's coming back to college

(07:51):
basketball to play again because Kaylyle Clarkmade it real popular and I bet she's
gonna get a whole bunch of moneyin nil money. And one didn't at
first, But the first one thatannounced she was coming back was Haley.
So see if Haley is bait,is dating Jake or was? Because I

(08:13):
bet it would be Haley if whatmy brain is doing is right. Haley
announced she was going to come backand play college basketball again at TCU.
Yeah, okay, so they mightbe together, ye, together, they're
probably still together. Hannah then announcedshe's coming back to play at Miami again,
so Haley must be with Jake.So she's staying local and going to

(08:37):
get her some more hoops. Apparentlyshe recently spilled the tea about her relationship
with Jake on TikTok If anybody's interested. I thought about taking that up someday.
I thought about getting a Ferguson jersey, but then I remembered I don't
do jerseys, but if I weregoing to, I would get a Jake
Ferguson that would be the one.My buddy Mitch couldn't figure out what ranger

(08:58):
jersey he want, so he gota boach jersey. That's pretty badass,
right, That's pretty awesome Bruce Boacheejersey. Mike, are you just staring
at the Cavender twins I'm reading.I'm trying to figure out the dynamic of
the Jake Ferguson Haley Cavator Cavender scene. What sounds like they're together? Right?
Yeah? It says Dallas Cowboy's girlfriendreveals a mental breakdown from criticism of

(09:24):
Jake Ferguson relationship. I remember thatstory. Wow, I remember that story
that she was like, yeah, because it's like a big thing in the
public eye and seeing people talking aboutyour significant other or whatever, and it's
a lot. I will tell you, relationships in the public eye suck.
Don't do it. Don't get famousor even semi almost somewhat locally famous.

(09:46):
And if you do, don't datesomeone else. Oh wow, who is
something that you've done? Jeff needto turn into a sandpiper. I don't
know what that means, but Iagree with Mike whatever you say. Hmm,
what does that mean, Mike,It's a term from the ghetto.
What does it mean. That's whatthey call guys over in the ghetto who

(10:09):
don't want none, ain't getting none, ain't looking for none, ain't trying
to get none. But I wantSo what are they not trying to get
the groove thing? Oh? Okay, are they're like asexual? No,
not necessarily asexual, but they're justnot interested. Yeah, they don't go

(10:31):
out on the chase a sandpiper.Yeah, Kevin, Kevin, it funny.
I'm looking at this picture of thetwins. I've seen a lot of
their pictures before doing this segment. What are you trying to say, have
they've been naked in magazines? Theyhave not been naked, but they're they

(10:52):
do great work on Instagram. Isit weird that I'm like looking to see
if they're connected, but they're notjoin If they were sure about that,
yes, if they were and theyplayed college basketball, that'd be amazing.
Does that count as one player onthe floor or two? Two? Oh,

(11:13):
then your team sucks? Well, what's the arm situation? Like and
leg situation? I think that's howwe could count. What if it's three
legs, is that two people orone that's one and a half because it's
more than one because it can join. Twin is already a disadvantage because they
have to wait for the other oneto work the other leg and all that,

(11:35):
and like, that's tough. Butif you're gonna count as two people,
also we are ft, we're gonnalose every game by fifty, you
count as two. Yeah, butno, I was just looking at some
stuff because I was just reading anarticle and there saw there's a lot of
pictures in the article, and soI saw the pictures and they're good to
look at. If you guys didn'tknow that, yeah, you told us

(11:56):
are they stacked. I don't knowthat they're stacked. Let me see,
I don't know that they're stacked. But they're very pretty and they do cardio
and probably lyft a little bit.Yep. Not so much that it's like,
oh my god, I'm the incrediblehog, but enough that you're like,
look at you, Look at whatyou've done. Yeah, you've done

(12:18):
good for yourself. To them,I'd like to sponsor you. They have
four and a half million followers onTikTok. If you're wondering in other news
the president would like to talk aboutand I think I've got four followers on
TikTok. We can get you somemore. I tagged you on TikTok last
night and made us a TikTok video. I said I would get you some

(12:41):
more. What's your name? What'syour user name? I don't know.
That's gonna be tough. It's notgonna be easy, making this an uphill
battle. Michael, I don't knowmy name either, but yeah, so
uh. Our president is weighing inon women's college basketball thing that once again,
I've always been at the forefront ofpushing I think everybody should be watching

(13:05):
it, but current president yes,the current president, President Joe Biden.
Because what happened is Kaitlin Clark gotdrafted number one overall, and then people
posted what her contract will be inthe WNBA. She got a four year
contract three hundred and thirty eight thousanddollars total. So her rookie year,

(13:28):
she'll make seventy six, five hundredand thirty five dollars. Not a bad
little salary for Kaitlin Clark. Butpeople who don't aren't familiar with the WNBA
know that in the NBA you makea lot more money, and so every
jillion times more money. Yeah,So everybody had lots of opinions and stuff,
and so the president hopped on X. You think he did it from

(13:52):
his phone on the app or youthink he was at a computer on X
dot com. I think he wasa computer on X dot com being shown
how to do this, Okay, because I would imagine that someone else posted
it would be my guess. Right. Do you think Joe Biden tweets himself
every once in a while, itseems like him. Why does it?
Just you can see that his foreheadhit the keyboard. It's just sellid like

(14:13):
a different type of tweet. Likesomebody didn't intercept somebody didn't intercept his Twitter.
God, that'd be the worst ifour president was like a drunk and
just all the time it was like, damn it, he late night tweeted
again, you gotta clean this up. Did you say he does that?

(14:35):
No? I don't think he.Someone has like he's l chicks rim late
Laton night tweeting probably goes on atseven point thirty for Joe. Yeah,
that's funny, hey, out ofa decent bedtime. Out of Joe and
Donald Trump, who do you thinkis more likely to fire a DM to
one of those girls from yesterday thataren't real that hot Aari chicks you coul

(15:00):
We're the ones that like all thefive year old ten year old tweets.
Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.Who do you think is most likely to
DM a porn bot? It's definitelyold trumpy you think so? Oh yeah?
I would think so? Okay.I mean, if Biden's going to
do it, at least he's gotthe wherewithal enough to have somebody else do
it for him and not really associatehis name with it. Do you think

(15:22):
Trump dms hot chicks on truth socialYeah? I think he does there's no
doubt. Well, I guess thenext question is are there hot chicks on
truth Social? Well, that's that'sa very valid question. Who is on
truth Social? Is it just himsitting there by himself? It's him and
all his people, people that reallyreally really really really like him. Yeah,

(15:43):
like minions and that are really confusedon why they're losing money since he
somehow like took it public even thoughit doesn't have any revenue, and then
it has a stock price and it'sgone way down, and people like I
don't understand what's happening. It's well, you just bet on a company that
doesn't have any make any money. But anyway, so yeah, people saw
that the amount of money that CaitlinClark is going to get is not super

(16:06):
substantial as a salary, and soPresident Biden tweeted out, women in sports
continue to push new boundaries and inspireus all somebody else sent this out,
but right now we're seeing that evenif you're the best, women are not
paid their fair share. It's timewe give our daughters the same opportunities as

(16:30):
our sons and ensure women are paidwhat they deserve. Sounds good to me.
That sounds good to me too.It is kind of crazy, like
what her salary is, what itwas? What is it? It's like
seventy six thousand dollars. Yeah tostart off. Yeah. So, And
here's the thing where I'm torn onthat one. Like I am champion of
Yes, we should have equality andpeople should have the same opportunities and there

(16:52):
shouldn't be a big gender gap ora racial gap when it comes to wages
for doing the same job. Butlike in sports, the amount of money
that you get paid is determined bya salary cap, and the salary cap
is determined by the amount of revenue, and the revenue is determined by your
TV deal. And the WNBA's TVdeal is sixty million dollars a year.
The NBA's is two point seven billion, so it's forty five times more.

(17:17):
So as somebody who I think itwould be great if the WNBA players made
more money, and I think ifyou feel that way too, you could
make it happen. Watch and thentheir ratings go up by merch and the
revenue goes up, and then they'llget a better TV deal and then people

(17:37):
will get more money. So herthe ratings for her games are going to
be very good, you would think, and so I should. She should
have got like a revenue share fromthe league, Yes, like something where
she gets the messy deal sort ofthe earnings from whatever some whatever high up
dude's gonna make because of her.Yeah, and that's like, that's MESSI

(18:03):
was so big that he did that, the he negotiated part of MLS's It's
like, you wouldn't have all ofthese numbers and all of these viewers without
me and be able to sell thatadvertising because of the ratings. It's because
of her. God, the otherplayers would punch her in the face.
Yeah, she's like, yeah,I might join Ice Cubes Big three if

(18:23):
you don't give me a lot ofmoney percent of whatever. But she'll get
a bunch of money. She'll getit from Nike or Gatorade or whoever.
But uh, go women, youknow, yeah, congrats with women.
Congrats to the Cavender Twins who werereally excited to get you guys back on
the court. Be locked in tothe TCU and Miami games and go Caitlin,

(18:48):
go. Then that's a bucket ofcrap. I'm ninety seven won the
freak. Yes, I stand alongsideyou and this as a one time supporter
of the Dallas Diamonds. Yes,yes, yes, go Wings. Uh
we didn't. We could have pickedAngel Reese, but we needed a guard.
You know. That's the way itgoes. Coming up next, it's
time for Hollywood Swing and Jewels.Where we headed. What if you could
talk to your high school bully today
