you know, trying to stay upto date and keep it moving with the

draft things. I have seen predictionsthat there could be ten or more trades
in the first round, like itcould get wild ass sounds fun. One
is locked in. Caleb Williams isgoing to be the first pick. He's
gonna be Chicago Bear. I thinktwo is locked in. Three might be

locked in, but there is who'stwo? Jayden Daniels, the LSU quarterback.
Okay, I believe that's locked in, and that would be to Washington.
The third pick is New England's.They don't have a quarterback, and
yet they've kind of been open aboutYeah, I mean for the right haul.

I mean, if you called andblew us away, but Scuttlebutt would
say they're probably taking Drake May,the North Carolina quarterback. And then we
get to having fun because Arizona couldsit there and pick the first non quarterback,
or Arizona could field phone calls frominsert team name here, like Minnesota.

If Minnesota does not get up highenough to draft a quarterback, then
they are dumbasses. They traded foran extra first round pick weeks ago,
assuming that they could then turn thetwo first round picks and whatever else they
have to do to go get aquarterback. And if they can't find a
taker for that and they just endup as a team that has two first

round picks just because they randomly havethem and they don't end up with a
quarterback, they're gonna be like,what the hell is wrong with us?
What are we doing? It's likethey want to move up? Can they
get into two or three? Idon't think so. I don't think two's
for sale. I don't think threesfor sale unless you blow them away.

And then you're talking about is canyou beat with eleven and twenty three and
whatever else? Can you beat otherteams that might want to go up?
Giants, Broncos, Vikings, Raiders, say, and the Cowboys get to
watch all this stuff too, becauseif you're a Cowboy fan, what you

want is you want to hear asmany quarterback names as you can, unless
you hate Dak and you're like,no, I want to pick a quarterback,
But for the most part, youwant to hear quarterback, quarterback,
quarterback, somebody trades up for aquarterback, and then maybe another guy or
two sneaks in before the Cowboys pick, maybe six quarterbacks are picked before the

Cowboys pick. Possible. Wow,And if that happens, then that's our
path to trying to get somebody tonumber twenty four that we didn't think could
happen. Yeah is that? Oh? Well it went, and I do
think it'll go one, two,three, Caleb Williams, Jaden Daniels,
Drake May. I think Michigan's JJMcCarthy will go somewhere between four and eight

where somebody trades to it and thenmaybe somebody loves Michael Pennix, the Washington
quarterback, Maybe somebody loves bo Nicks. If you can get those guys to
go, life gets more fun forus. Like, wait, which off
a lineman might make it? Canthat be fun? I only saw Pennix
play one game, and that wasat his bowl game, but I thought

he was pretty damn good. Yeah, he looks pretty good. Man.
He's wrong handed, Yeah, no, I'll throw you off. Yeah all
right. So have you got aguy that you're looking at and hoping that
the cards might fall right and thisguy might get to the Cowboys that you'd
really like. I mean, youmust have several guys like that. Yeah,

I mean what I have is Ithink that I think it's a really
nice year to need an offensive lineman. But I also saw from I believe
it was Daniel Jeremiah this morning,basically what he said is he said everyone
in this draft is trying to moveup for an offensive tackle because I think
it's a group of five of themthat are really good prospects. And the

(11:54):
odds that any of those five areavailable when the Cowboys pick, I think
are pretty low. But that thatwould be my dream is that you get
on the clock and it's an easypick. Is a top tier of offensive
tackle is still sitting there. That'smy dream is six quarterbacks go, four
wide receivers go. I need twoor three corners to go. I need

three pass rushers to go. I'mjust trying to figure out a way that
I can get to number twenty fourand only four offensive tackles have been picked,
because I think that there are fiveof them that are really, really
good. And then I think youget down to the next group, which
is like, all right, nowwe can poke holes in the prospect like
this guy's a really good player,but he doesn't have all of the measurables

(12:39):
that NFL teams love for a prospector. This guy's a wonderful prospect,
but his tape doesn't measure up tohow big an athletic and all the things
that he is. There's five offensivetackles that I would love to hear their
name called it twenty four. Butthe worry is that we're going to hear
all of those names called the fourtwenty four? Is there anyway? And
I know the the chalk says,you don't ever do this, and I

recognize that, I recognize this probablynot gonna happen, but it is the
Cowboys. Sometimes the Cowboys have beenknown to fly in the face of conventional
wisdom anyway, that they would gofor a guard or a center in the
first round. Absolutely, oh absolutely, And I think there are scenarios where

(13:28):
I love it. Really. Ithink one of my dream scenarios tonight is
that the Cowboys find a way totrade out of twenty four and move down.
Yeah, to pick your team,Kansas City, Baltimore, Buffalo,
whatever, But you get down tothe twenty nine to thirty two range,
you add a third or fourth roundpick, because they don't have a fourth
round pick right now, and youdo the Travis Frederick where you pick a

center. I think there are threecenters in this draft that are worthy of
being picked right in that area thatyou can pick that guy and that spot's
probably going to be good for aday. Kate, Yeah, I think
those guys exist, and I mightactually prefer it to some of the offensive
tackles that could be left available.So yeah, I totally think there's a

(14:11):
scenario where the first round pick isa center. There's a scenario where that
center is a stick and pick attwenty four. There's a scenario where that
center is a trade down, andI think, yeah, I think it's
very possible that they end up pickingthe center in the first round and then
I like the pick. I thinkit's very possible. Three good ones Graham
Barton out of Duke Jackson, PowersJohnson out of Oregon, and Zach Fraser

(14:37):
out of West Virginia. And myprediction is going to be that Zach Fraser
is going to be a cowboy tonight. That's my prediction. He's a West
Virginia center. And I'm just doingthis because I know that Zach Martin likes
him. Okay, that's good reason. They work out with the same trainer,
Duke Maniweather, and apparently while outthere doing the training stuff, Zach

Fraser Wi wanted to meet Zach Martinbecause he's Zach Martin, and he's like,
I love you. You're incredible.But it was Zach Martin who noticed
him, and he's like, hey, I see the way you work in
here, dude, nice to meetyou. And Zach was like, oh,
and so, yes, Zach's aredrawn to each other. Yeah,
Zach Martin is on the record andbeing like, hell, yeah, I

picked that dude, and so yeah, that'll be my random prediction is of
the offensive lineman. I choose himto be a cowboy tonight. Yeah,
it looks like I was just kindof searching around a lot of people seem
to agree with you that that wouldbe a good pick, and that might
be a realistic pick. And helooks like a big old boy. He's
a big old boy. And youknow what we like in our offensive lineman,

big old boys. We like bigold boys, and we like offensive
linemen that when you say, hey, what did he do in high school?
The answer is he won State threeyears in a row as a wrestler.
We like that in our offensive lineman. Yes, right, we know
leverage down and dirty. Yeah,we know how to do things with the
leverage. Did you see that?Roger Goodell is a game time decision on

his hugs. Yeah, what ishe got? Coke? He under he
had back surgery three weeks ago.Oh, players are gonna break him.
He's gonna be there, but wedon't know if he's going to be accepting
