Speaker 1 (00:00):
Charles, what's going on? Just headed to work this morning.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Wanted to give you all shout out and thank you
for all the wonderful country music playing on my way
to work. It's Monday started.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
Dang, Charles, that's so nice.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
Where you.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
From Decatur?
Speaker 1 (00:13):
Work at the Caata Morgan Hospital asome Man? Well, thank you?
Speaker 4 (00:16):
Where it's greater?
Speaker 1 (00:17):
That's one of your hospitals, right that you used to
go to or something?
Speaker 4 (00:20):
Yeah, I was there on a regular basis. Bobby D
had to go there when he cut his.
Speaker 5 (00:24):
Finger off, you know, just doing the stuff, normal stuff,
Decatur word scripting.
Speaker 4 (00:30):
Now I have to ask.
Speaker 5 (00:31):
I have to ask if we're on the phone and
we're getting close to a football season Austin or Decatur
High as that's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
Where is that where Bobby D got the nickname Bobby Digit?
Speaker 6 (00:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Lost one? Nice?
Speaker 4 (00:44):
Oh man?
Speaker 1 (00:45):
Which figure did he lose.
Speaker 4 (00:46):
The fourth one?
Speaker 1 (00:47):
What did he do?
Speaker 5 (00:49):
Hey?
Speaker 4 (00:49):
Use these big old clippers.
Speaker 5 (00:51):
He was trimming the bushes and he was trying to
trim one and hold a branch.
Speaker 4 (00:57):
Yeah, they glued it back all that Decatur Morgan Hospital.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Though I hope they did it the right way. Can
you it's like pointing to a ninety.
Speaker 5 (01:05):
It's like my dad, sir, the super glue dried, bastard
than you anticipated.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
Well, thank you man, appreciate you listening.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
Hey, you guys, have a good day. Bless you you too,
Do you too want to talk to Blair? Her Daddy
him into my house today? He's building me a house.
Speaker 7 (01:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
Can you ask me about that finger? If you look
at the fourth finger, it's a little wonky.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
When you see it today.
Speaker 5 (01:29):
When you see him today, be like, so I heard
you cut your finger off one time.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
Yeah. His name's Bobby Davis, but we call him Bobby
digit around here.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
He cut his finger off.
Speaker 8 (01:40):
He didn't tell me that.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Now, this is year, this is years ago. Okay, So
apparently we just found out that he spent some time
in Decatur Hospital.
Speaker 5 (01:48):
Because of this, I had to meet him at the er.
And all you did is you saw my dad walking
through the parking lot into the er in his blue
coveralls with a dish rag wrapped around his hand. And
I'm like, you don't know that that was sanitary? This
is probably I mean, I wasn't even driving yet when
this happened.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Do us a favor report back on what Bobby D's
wonky finger looks like.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Okay, I'll check it out and I'll give you a
call back.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Here in just a little while. We want to leave
a good review for that surgeon twenty years ago. Better
late than ever, probably his name anymore. That surgeon's work
holds up. I'm telling you, if you're gonna go, that's
the guy to go to. Well, thank you, Gary, thank
you for taking a call about giving you all the
(02:37):
warm fuzzies and whatnot. It's the good good on the
Spencer Grave Show. If you're a small business owner, somebody
who owns a restaurant, you'll know this story far too well.
How much can you trust the people that you employ,
especially if you get sick and you have to be
in the hospital for more than just a couple of days.
(02:58):
That happened to Carol Trainor. She owned a restaurant and
she ended up getting sick. She was battling different cancers
and had to have several surgeries. Well, she was going
to be in the hospital for the next thirty days.
Her entire staff stepped up to the plate kept the
restaurant going after she spent three and a half months
(03:20):
in the hospital.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
This has proved there's still good people out there, thank goodness.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
They even took donations from different people that came into
the restaurant. And Carol is back on the mend. Gary,
what's the update on Bobby digit?
Speaker 2 (03:35):
How'd you know what was mean here? You got call
her ird?
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Yeah? Man, welcome to the twenty first century.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
Yeah awesome?
Speaker 3 (03:42):
All right?
Speaker 2 (03:43):
Yeah, well I checked it out and the deal is
it's it's number, then get out. He said, you can
count it with a hammer and it won't won't.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
Are you going to.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
Test it out? I offered to test it out for
the show, but he said he'd rather not do that.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
All right, So the big question is, though, let's let's
just take a look, like if you saw his finger,
had no idea that that thing had been cut off
at one point, would you say that you wouldn't know.
So that surgeon did a great, beautiful twenty years later.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
Twenty years later and it's still working.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
Fall And what you guys don't know is twenty years
ago that surgeon used duct tape and fishing line to
hold that thing on. So it looks good.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
Hey, that sounds like a redneck band, Blair.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
We're going to make this a little tougher. You and
I are going to have to eliminate two artists from
each other's catalog that we can't say when I pose
the question. So give me two artists that I'm not
allowed to say, and you're not going.
Speaker 5 (04:41):
To tell me the category in advance. You can't say
Chris Stapleton or George Straight.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
You knew you were going with some of my favorites. Okay, fine,
you can't say Kenny Chesney or Taylor Swift. Rude. You
know I was going to do that. So here's a question.
On a twelve hour road trip, you're only allowed to listen.
Speaker 5 (05:01):
Ah, Jody Messina, what song I'm gonna go from Heads, Carolina, Tills,
California to bab bah a little bit of I'm alright,
somebody's going to give you a lesson and leaving some bed.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
I mean, I was just asking. I didn't I mean,
you didn't have to go into full on karaoke mode.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
Jody Messina is a great pick. I kind of wish
that I had made it down to three because then
I would have put Jody on that list. Mine is
going to be old Dirk Spentley, not like the last
couple songs that he s put out, but I'm talking
about like, come a little closer.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
Dirk s Bentley, so good, so good.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
That Dirk s Bentley. I don't know what it was,
but when he came onto the scene, I was like, Dang,
this dude is going to blow up. And then you
put out a couple songs recently where I'm just like, dang,
this dude has already blown up, and now we're picking
up the pieces.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
So blessam, blessed.
Speaker 5 (06:02):
No, I do love me some dark spilly And that's
a solid road trip toys share.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
With us the one artist you could listen to straight
for twelve hours? Amy, good morning, thanks for calling the show.
What's going on?
Speaker 9 (06:13):
Hey just bark this morning?
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Nice? What do you do?
Speaker 9 (06:15):
I'm a teacher.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
Well, we are just talking about a twelve hour road trip.
You have one artist that you can listen to the
entire time. Who is it?
Speaker 9 (06:22):
Alan Jackson?
Speaker 4 (06:24):
Another good option.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
I'm just saying, you know, I had somebody say to
me aby the other day that they actually believe Alan
Jackson was the king of nineties country and not George Street.
Speaker 4 (06:35):
Oh well, okay, I love you some Alan Jackson.
Speaker 8 (06:38):
That's pretty close.
Speaker 9 (06:39):
But he is amazing.
Speaker 4 (06:41):
He is amazing, nonetheless, that's for sure.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
What is it about Alan Jackson that you love so much?
Speaker 9 (06:45):
He's just realed down to earth. I got to meet
him in Kroger's one day at Cool Springs and just
love his music and he's just amazing.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
If that isn't the most country meet and greet ever,
I met Alan Jackson at a Kroger's in the rounded the.
Speaker 9 (07:02):
Corner and there he was, and I was like, oh
my gosh, my dreams just came true.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
So what were you in the produce section? Like, where
were you in the grocery store?
Speaker 9 (07:12):
No, we had just turned one of I'll mom and
I was with my mom and we were just going
up and down the aisles and I turned it and
I turned around and I said, Mom, that's Alan Jackson.
She said, no, it's not, And it sure was.
Speaker 4 (07:25):
I mean, never failed, He's still got to get his grocery.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
And you have to kind of think, like, if you
ran into Alan Jackson at the grocery store, what would
he have in his cart? What would he have in
his hands? And you actually got to witness something like that.
Speaker 9 (07:39):
Yes, he actually had a big dog bone in there
for one of his dogs, les and kinghoods. But he
was with his wife and she's just as sweet as
she can be too, so cool.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
Did you ask for a picture or an autograph or
did you just keep it cool and you were like,
this is a really great moment.
Speaker 9 (07:55):
I finally came around and asked for an autograph. I
got it from my nephew.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
Nice, very well. Thank you very much, Amy. We hope
you have a great Dane. Thanks for listening.
Speaker 9 (08:03):
Thanks, I appreciate you all.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
Love by Dennis. May have had the most uncomfortable meeting
when it came to back to school. Dennis, thanks for
calling a FI five grade zero. What happened?
Speaker 6 (08:13):
I took my son into for the like meet the
teacher day and his new teacher is the woman that
back when I dated her, I told her I didn't
want to have children as.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
A way to break up.
Speaker 6 (08:26):
We were together for three years and like at the
time when we were dating, like we were looking towards
marriage and like for her that included like starting a
family and having kids. And she was like really great
in like every way except for like she wanted to
have kids and I was really against that for a
while up until I ended up meeting who's now my wife,
(08:46):
And so my biggest issue was not ending the relationship.
When I determined that like what we wanted and like
what our values were, they they didn't really line up.
Like truth be told, I kind of like led her
on for a.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
Few years, hoping to come over to like.
Speaker 6 (09:04):
My side of the Yeah, I'd be fine without kids.
But like we went to this this this meet the
teacher day and we sat in front of her and
I had to like act like I didn't know her
and we're Then the conversation started to get personal when
my wife like trying to get to know her a
little better and was like.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
Are you married?
Speaker 6 (09:26):
Did you ever ranks getting married?
Speaker 1 (09:30):
Do you have kids of your own? And like all
of her answers were no.
Speaker 6 (09:34):
But like, while my wife is asking this these questions,
she's just like staring right at me.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
So why I called you guys?
Speaker 6 (09:42):
Should I tell my wife that I used to date
my kid's teacher or should I just like let it go?
Speaker 4 (09:48):
Okay, I have a very strong stance on this.
Speaker 5 (09:51):
I think you absolutely need to tell her because at
some point it's going to to come up and it's
gonna seem like a big lone, but.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
Hangout, hangout in time out, time out of time out.
If he doesn't tell her and it doesn't come up,
nobody's hurt by this. If he brings it up, his
wife is ultimately going to say, at some point, why
didn't you tell me when we actually met her?
Speaker 6 (10:15):
What kind of instance would that come up? He's only
going to be in that grade for a.
Speaker 5 (10:20):
Year, right, but he's going to be in that school
for several years.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 5 (10:26):
I'm just saying I love that you are trying to
not pretend that women are petty. And I'm not saying
this teacher would do anything, but you're definitely in a
group chat text with all of her girlfriends and they are.
Speaker 4 (10:41):
Coming up with ways to make you uncomfortable.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
You are the topic around the staff lunch.
Speaker 4 (10:47):
Room one thousand.
Speaker 6 (10:50):
Like, I hate keeping things from my wife, Like I
tell my wife everything, but like, I just don't want
anybody to start getting hooked up on something that happened
forever ago.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
You know, Okay, I love you, Spencer. I'm a married woman.
Speaker 5 (11:04):
If my husband kept this from me, I'd say, why
did you feel the need to keep.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
It from me? But that's when you find out. If
you never found out, you'd have no idea.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
We will find.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Dennis, do you think your wife has an inkling that
you know this woman on a very personal level?
Speaker 6 (11:21):
I mean, judging by how they talked during the teacher conversation,
I don't think so at all.
Speaker 4 (11:25):
Okay, but you know what I'm doing.
Speaker 5 (11:27):
If I'm the wife in this scenario and you're like
taking care of my child, I'm doing some minor, too
moderate stalking. And if I find one picture, even a
group picture, I mean, look, women were crazy?
Speaker 6 (11:40):
Wait you done stalking? For every woman you come across
like she's met this woman?
Speaker 1 (11:47):
What not a shock?
Speaker 5 (11:49):
We know blood types, we know social Security members after
the first like I'm telling you, I'm telling you us women,
we won't stop at anything.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
All right, So let's put it out there. Let's ask
the friends of the Spencer Grave show how they feel.
If you went in for meet the teacher, or you
ran into somebody that had a prior relationship with your
now husband or wife, would you want to know or
would you just let it go? What should Dennis do
in that scenario? Thank you, buddy, I appreciate it.
Speaker 7 (12:16):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
Melissa. Give us your opinion on Dennis. He called into
the Spencer Grave Show, took his son and his wife
to meet the teacher. He didn't realize and meet the
teacher was an old ex of his that they actually
almost got engaged and they talked about having children. He
didn't want any of that with her, and now he
has all of that with someone else.
Speaker 10 (12:35):
The wife is already waiting on him to tell him
why the meeting.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
Was tens Why would you say that?
Speaker 10 (12:42):
She asked questions, and the teacher literally looked at him
and stared a hole through him and replied no to
everything he already knows and is waiting on him to
come truthful.
Speaker 1 (12:54):
You sound like you've been through this scenario before.
Speaker 10 (12:56):
Oh, we're very attentive.
Speaker 5 (12:59):
If I tried to tell him exactly, if.
Speaker 10 (13:04):
We ask questions and you don't reply to me, oh,
I know something's up.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
But they seem like normal questions. I mean, are you married?
Have you ever had children?
Speaker 10 (13:14):
Okay? But imagine you're asking someone and they're looking at
your partner saying no, no, no.
Speaker 1 (13:20):
Wow, Melissa is tying into something.
Speaker 5 (13:23):
That teacher is probably again a great person, but she
knew what she was doing by looking the way she did.
Speaker 10 (13:31):
And it will continue.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
Well. Thank you, Melissa, I hope you have an awesome day.
Speaker 8 (13:37):
Good luck to the guy.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
I wonder are there any people that would actually side
with Dennis. Dennis is a dad who recently had meet
the Teacher night. He brought his now wife and their
son to meet the teacher. All of a sudden, Dennis
is sitting down and right in front of him is
one of his exes pretty big x too. They talked
about marriage, and they talked about having kids. He ultimately
(13:58):
led her on for a little bit, didn't want to
have children with her, said he didn't want kids, But
now he has one and she's the teacher. This is crazy, Veronica,
what's going on?
Speaker 8 (14:11):
I don't think he's in the wrong, but I personally
think he should tell his wife because at the end
of the day, the teacher is probably going to talk
to her friends or coworkers, and you never know who
they who might be connected to his wife in some
way in the background.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
The way you bring up a great point, it's kind
of like that, are we dating the same guy pages
that everybody sees. It might not be the person that
is in the relationship. It might be a friend that
decides to stir.
Speaker 8 (14:40):
The pot, right, somebody could always be like, oh, I
know that couple, I know that wife, I know that husband.
I think she needs to know. If he doesn't want
to tell her, I'll tell her. And I think it
always comes across better if it comes from your spouse
than from some random person.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
And it gives her the opp oportunity to say like, hey,
thank you for telling me, but you know you didn't
have to. There wasn't anything there. I feel like we're
rock solid.
Speaker 8 (15:06):
And then you know, at the end of the day
she may not actually care, but knowing that he told
her first and not some random person or a friend
of a friend, I think she will feel better in
that knowledge.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
Yeah, this is great news for other people, not good
news for Dennis because he's already brought this story to
the radio before he went to his life.
Speaker 5 (15:24):
I just think too that I think too. The longer
he waits, the worse it's going to be.
Speaker 10 (15:31):
Oh alad mean, I.
Speaker 8 (15:32):
Mean he should have told her afterwards, after the meet
the teacher, But at the same time, as long as
it comes from him before somebody else says something, and
the sooner the better. But really, before somebody else says something,
because very happened it. Mike could say something at any moment.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
You're an absolute jem. Thank you for spending some time
with us today.
Speaker 8 (15:53):
No problem, y'all have a great day.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
You too, Faith, what's up?
Speaker 9 (15:57):
So he needs to tell his wife a man?
Speaker 1 (16:00):
But why? I mean, nothing has come up to where
it was weird.
Speaker 8 (16:03):
Nothing has come up. But here's the thing though, depending
on this woman. Granted she's a teacher, and I bet
she's a wonderful person, but if she starts doing little
petty things that kid, and it comes up why.
Speaker 9 (16:14):
She's doing it, that's gonna be a whole fiasco.
Speaker 10 (16:16):
If you should have just told me, maybe we can
move them out of that class. I don't want you
to be uncomfortable.
Speaker 8 (16:21):
What about field trip?
Speaker 10 (16:23):
You know, there's a ton of situations where it can
come up and we find everything.
Speaker 4 (16:27):
Out we do.
Speaker 1 (16:29):
How funny would it be, Faith if the teacher said
you can't spell just like your father? It's there, Okay.
Speaker 5 (16:37):
I'm just saying that it's more suspicious to me. If
I find out later, I'm gonna have questions as to like,
why didn't you tell me? That's more like I would
get more angry at like the fact that you kept
it from me and I would feel some type of
way whereas like, okay, so what you did you dated somebody,
(16:58):
but I would probably want my child moved.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
Faith, you bring up some really good points. We appreciate you.
I hope you have a great day today, y'all.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
Do you know?
Speaker 1 (17:07):
Faith brought up some really good points. Though, what if
it does get petty with the teacher and then the
mom starts to get a little suspicious? Good morning, Thanks
for calling the Spencer Grave Show.
Speaker 11 (17:15):
Yes, he absolutely has to tell his wife.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
Have you ever had a situation where your husband or
a significant other kept something from you you found out
after the fact, Oh yeah, yeah.
Speaker 11 (17:25):
And it didn't go to not go well what happened?
Speaker 5 (17:28):
Is it?
Speaker 9 (17:28):
Not just argument?
Speaker 11 (17:31):
And even though now I'm like okay, absolutely nothing like
really happened, but just the thought of like if he
was not you know, and I'm not even gonna say lying,
but just not forthcoming with something like that, like are
there other things that he hasn't been forthcoming about?
Speaker 1 (17:48):
Least pause for concern? Absolutely, it's how country are you?
On The Spencer Grave Show? Angela, where's the two two
eight area code?
Speaker 3 (17:58):
It's from Bloxi, Mississippi. But I'm a Birmingham girl.
Speaker 1 (18:01):
Okay, very nice. Well, we're glad to have you in
the state of Alabama. Are you ready to play? How
country are you? Yes, sir, Let's do this on a
scale of one to country. Angela, How country are you?
Speaker 8 (18:10):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (18:10):
Maybe about a seven or eight?
Speaker 1 (18:11):
Angela? Riley Green is from what Alabama town?
Speaker 3 (18:16):
Oh? I know this, it's Springs something.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
Well, it shares the name with the town in Florida.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
Oh my god, I know this.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
She's like Tallahassee. It's actually it's Jacksonville, Jacksonville. Yeah, all right.
Question number two, what's a good way to tell someone
is trying too hard to be country?
Speaker 3 (18:43):
Too many cowboy boots and fancy cowboy things and they're
not actually.
Speaker 1 (18:47):
Country, and there's no dirt on them, right, like some
most cowboys have to have dirt on it. The big
thing for me is when guys wear cowboy boots and
they wear their jeans tucked into the boots.
Speaker 4 (18:57):
It's like, yeah, don't don't do that, you.
Speaker 1 (18:59):
Know, like girls can do that. But there's a part,
and I know some people are gonna be like the
two They can't like it's just not a thing. All right, fine,
old question. What's your jail story?
Speaker 3 (19:09):
Oh, I don't have one.
Speaker 1 (19:11):
Come on, everybody that's country has a jail story.
Speaker 3 (19:15):
No jail story.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
It doesn't mean that you had to go. It could
have been somebody from your family.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
No maybe, I mean I've had family on Jerry Springer before.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
But all right, that's that. Yeah, tell us about the
time your family is not Jerry Springer.
Speaker 3 (19:29):
Oh it was I married somebody old enough to be
my mom, and then he actually ended up getting in
trouble because he was trying to date her daughter that
was underage. Oh yeah, it was long.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Could have turned into a jail story.
Speaker 10 (19:47):
We just don't know that he did spend a lot
of He did.
Speaker 4 (19:51):
He spent quite a many years in jail because yeah, see.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
This is like six separation. Everybody has a jail story.
That's country. You did a great job today. You're six
point seven. All right, Blair. We were talking about the
Riley Green Show earlier. It was organized chaos. I mean,
Riley and Ella are probably the biggest names in country
music this year right now, and the fact that they're
touring again together it just amps everything up. And it
(20:17):
was the first sellout at Coca Cola Amphitheater, which was
incredible for the venue and awesome that it was country music.
Speaker 5 (20:23):
And I think you got to throw in the fact
that this was their hometown show, you know, I mean,
so that just adds an extra layer. A lot of
people don't realize that when it's the hometown show, there's
even more people there.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
So I had two meet and greet passes and I
wanted to find a kid so they could meet one
of their favorite artists. I came upon this little girl
and her name was Skyler, and I ended up seeing
her mom and I was like, Hey, do you guys
want to go backstage? But you got to come with
me right now. They were so excited, although the mom
lost her mind, and I'm happy to have him on
a five to five grave zero. I've gotten some messages
(20:58):
about this. When I came up to you guys and said, hey,
do you want to see Riley Green? You jumped at
the opportunity a lot faster than your daughter. It was
almost like you knew that you wanted to try to
be cool, but you didn't want to let your fandom show.
But that thing shined.
Speaker 8 (21:15):
Oh yeah, oh you.
Speaker 4 (21:18):
She knew it was a moment and she was going
for it.
Speaker 7 (21:21):
Well, my daughter actually already said, what if somebody comes
up and says, hey, you want to be appy tickets
to meet Riley Green. So when you came up, I mean,
it was awesome, but I just wanted to make sure
you wasn't going to change your mind.
Speaker 8 (21:35):
So I made trust with this.
Speaker 5 (21:37):
Uly that's a woman's mind for you. It's like, now
I'm gonna ahead and answer this right now.
Speaker 1 (21:42):
I have to tell you, though, Skyler did a great
job manifesting that we talked about that on the show
last week, that when you actually say things out into
the world, it works. Although I ended up getting a
message from your husband and he goes they always meet
famous people when I'm not at the show.
Speaker 7 (22:00):
But Riley Green is definitely the most famous that we've met.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
Okay, all right, good, can we talk to Skyler real quick?
Speaker 2 (22:06):
Sure?
Speaker 7 (22:06):
Good morning.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
What was it like when you went backstage and met Riley?
Speaker 10 (22:10):
It was awesome, it was shaking, you were yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
So so what did you say to him? How was
your experience?
Speaker 9 (22:19):
I say much to him because they were pushing us back.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
But I shake his hand and we got to give
him a little hug.
Speaker 11 (22:25):
And shake his hand, and.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
You guys ended up getting a picture with him.
Speaker 10 (22:28):
Yes, we did.
Speaker 1 (22:29):
Incredible. Now is that your Facebook profile or anything on
social media?
Speaker 8 (22:33):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (22:33):
Nice? Nice, Well, I'm happy that you guys got to
have that experience.
Speaker 11 (22:37):
We're happy that you picked us.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
Will you guys have a great day today, Skyler, Are
you back in school? Yes, sir, well grade?
Speaker 6 (22:46):
Are you in seventh?
Speaker 1 (22:47):
Have an awesome day today. I'm sure you will be
the talk of the town.
Speaker 7 (22:51):
Yes, we're from a very small town, so we've had
many people send us to TikTok.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
What town are you guys from.
Speaker 7 (22:58):
We're from la Alabama, Well, about thirty minutes from Alburn.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
Thank you so much for being there, and thanks so
much for making my night. I was so excited to
see you guys, so happy.

Speaker 11 (23:12):

Speaker 1 (23:13):
Luke Combs has fourteen demos of songs and he's put
him up on a secret Instagram account, and what he's
asking people to do is listen to him and then
he's going to rank how they were all played, and
the top songs off of this are going to go
on his next album. If you want to go on Instagram,
it's el Comb seventy seven, which is so funny that
(23:35):
that sounds like an Aol Instant messenger name from back
in the day, or like somebody's GMAIL account el Combs
seventy seven, Like what was that? Was that his football
jersey in high school?
Speaker 5 (23:46):
I was about to say, I mean, literally, did we
just figure out his y'allhoo.
Speaker 4 (23:49):
Account el Come seventy seven at yahee dot com.
Speaker 5 (23:52):

Speaker 4 (23:58):
It already has over thirty.
Speaker 5 (23:59):
Nine followers, and uh yeah, I mean Luke Holmes is
following this page.
Speaker 4 (24:03):
But that's all that's up. There are the songs, So
I guess I've got some homework to do today.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
So you can take a listen to some of these
songs that Luke Colmmes has put up on l Combs
seventy seven on Instagram, and you might be the deciding
factor on what songs get on his sixth album,
