Light the beam—it’s a jam-packed Tuesday night in The Sports Cave with your host, Sam Freas, aka the Biggest Puma! Broadcasting live along with the rest of the Crew from the north side of San Antonio, this episode is a wild ride through sports, culture, and chaos.

Key Highlights:
  • Spurs Season Sparks to Life: The crew breaks down the first taste of real Spurs action, including LG’s debut behind the camera at the Frost Bank Center and Victor Wembanyama’s jaw-dropping transformation into a young Giannis. “I passed on a shot I could make with my eyes closed to get a teammate a shot he could make in his sleep.” — Wemby, already sounding like a seasoned vet.
  • Weekend Recap Madness: From National Taco Day celebrations to reminiscing about the first-ever ACL Fest (when weekend passes were just $25!), the guys cover everything from pulled pork pop-ups to surprise bee invasions in a 120-year-old house.
  • MLB Divional Round Snoozers: Will any team come back from down 2-0? Will Cap have a Yankee meltdown live on stream? We discuss the odds of either (or both) happening.
  • NFL & College Football Chaos: Shocking upsets, Vegas odds shifting, and the line between contenders and pretenders is getting clearer.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Lie, Lie, Lie.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Lie, Oh my god, Light the beam, Light the beam.
Welcome into a Tuesday night edition of the Sports Cave
with Biggest Puma as I as I sit here, Okay, okay,
surely that's not passable. Good Lord, I know this might

(00:30):
be an emotional that means but oh I thought that
meant the actual orifice involved and said, but no, this
this has potential to be an explosive evening. As Cap
is fumbling to try to get the Yankees blow Jays
game on, I did that just for you.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
That's not that's not encouraged. That's gonna have guideline.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Yeah, it's gonna it's gonna be. There's going to be
some I've I've got some fun audio for you to
try to cheer you up. At least, I will say
you share you share a trait with a NFL future
Hall of Famer. He might already be in the Hall
of Fame now he's not in yet. Just handsomely good

(01:17):
looks and body size and physique. Yah no, but we'll
get to that. I've got some ways potentially to hopefully
cheer you up if this does turn sour. Of course,
we are broadcasting live here on the North side of
San Antonio where fellas we find ourselves fifteen days away

(01:38):
from Spurs opening night, actually had some Spurs action on
a court that wasn't a scrimmage last night that also
happened to involve one of the members of this program.
We'll get to that here in the weekend recap, got
to hear about LG's first day in the office. Of course,

(01:58):
it being Tuesday, we got a lot to get to
from the weekend, a lot of baseball to get to
in Weekend Sports, and then the Tuesday night staples into
col notes as well as the main Seggie breaking down
the all the results from NFL Week five. Some shocking, shocking,
well shocking results in the NFL, probably more shocking results

(02:21):
in college football. We'll talk about that in Weekend Sports
as well. Upsets, a lot of upsets. Yeah, it's we've
hit that point where I think, well, we're gonna talk
about it. It's not just me that thinks Vegas now
thinks there is a clear line of delineation between contenders
and everybody else. Yeah, so we're starting to see who

(02:42):
might actually be good and who it might be time
to give up on. And then of course we'll close
it out with some lightning round before we get out
of here, but before we get any further. It's a
big one today, boys, it's a big one. And I'm
not talking about National Propane Days. It's also propane accessories

(03:07):
that no, it's uh, it's it is National Taco Day.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Oh, the reason why the CAP has gained all this
weight in San Antonio.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Yeah, it happens. It happens fast. I just do it.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Give me the Java, Give me the Java. That one,
that's your favorite one.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
The Fat Boys. The Fat Boys one is what almost
made me spit all over this micro fight. If you
miss Thursday's show, I know it was a massively what
do we call distraction armageddon. It was we had Niners
on Thursday night football. We had Yankees. That was still Yankees,
red Sox, wasn't it. Yeah? Cap was happy that time. Yeah,

(03:50):
it was a that was a good night.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
That was a good Thursday.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
And I dare I say, I feel like doing this
now for six months, I think that was the best
episode we've had yet through all of the distractions. Because
I'll tell you why. The more I thought about it
after the fact, I realized the roommate might support this statement.

(04:15):
But at times I can be a bit of a
control freak about things, judging by the yees see. Okay,
I know you and the roommate were complaining about AI earlier.
Well you could also probably you.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Got my I got my rant coming.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
You could probably agree with her on this as well.
And Thursday I knew you were going to be distracted,
so I allowed myself to release the reins a little bit. Yeah,
and I think it was our best show ever. So
I fall on the sword there because I think the
the eagle scouted in me might always over prepare to

(04:51):
try to control everything, as you the guy let the
caperon Ia prows the capern I know, I like it.
I like it, and I wouldn't have believed it until
I re listened to Thursday's episode. There was some There
was some gold in that episode if you had if
you missed that, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
It was hard to pick the clips, but I know
we had to do the spit take.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Yeah, the good take was that was argument. I'll tell
you why. That was my favorite moment of the last
I was telling a guy because another UH ran into
a listener this weekend while we were out and about
on the town, and he specifically said the same thing.
He's like, that's the that's my favorite moment that y'all
done yet, And I told I was like, yeah, no,
I absolutely agree. And the more I got to thinking

(05:35):
about it is because that wouldn't have been as funny
without each of us involved. I mean, it was like
it was just boom boom boom, LG. Picking it up,
you running with it, y'all's childhood chemistry, and then again
me releasing the reins a little bit and letting the
content breathe like it should. So if you missed that

(05:57):
from last week, Thursday was a bit Wills, but it
was a lot of fun. Tuesdays, of course, are the
days we have the most to get to. So let's
get to it, LG. Before we get any further, and
before we hear about your first day at the office,
why don't you tell the good people how they can
support the program.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
You can do that by sending us some tacos because
it is National Taco.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Day, fair like James the Taco Tuesday.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
Or you can hit that subscribe button. Let me fly
the bats out there there. You go, hit the subscribe button,
get us over a thousand subscribers. You can also jump
in the super chat, get your chat put up on
the screen, and then we'll talk about you.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Sump you up.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
What else can you do? You can become a member.
There's no content, but one day we'll have content up there.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
You can know the cat month.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
If you feel like just supporting this show five bucks
a month, you can become a member.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Hit the join button down below.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
So I had to learn real quick not to go
to watch Niners games with children around Fair because I
cannot keep the explicits out.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
I was that was another thing. I was proud of
you for Thursday. I marked it explicit, not because of
something you said, but because some of the audio I played.
I realized when I was relistening, I was like, oh,
there's a couple f bombs in that. Like I did
not catch that whatever I sent it to LG. Yeah,
I noticed we are still seasonally appropriate on our subscribe

(07:24):
graphic there it looks like we got some blood dripping
down with the ghosts. Love it, love it. I keep
forgetting it actually is October because it's still ninety degrees
and it probably will be till Thanksgiving.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
And I was I wore my Yankees butterfly hat because
they've been in a co coon a coon a cocon Yes, yes,
all right, and they need a blossom into big beautiful butterflies.
But that eighteen wheeler coming from Canada is yeah, matching.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Us again, look and again and again. Those damn Canadian
truckers know how to actually get.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
America pissed them off or something.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Did you see I'm sure you saw it the Yankees,
the whole Bronx booing Oh Canada before the game tonight. Yeah,
wait to get some more few weeks. Yeah, that probably
didn't help, probably didn't help. But you do have bad
Bunny in the front row. I saw him catch a
foul ball as well.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
Buddy.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
It's all kinds of culture wars colliding. All that war.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
We could get one of our American famous pop singers
to sing the halftime Super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Look, if you had asked, like, if they had asked
for my opinion, I'd say Lee Greenwood and Lee Greenwood alone,
and extend the halftime show, make it forty five minutes. Said,
I want a forty five minute version of God Bless
the USA? Or Yeah, isn't that that's the only things?
I also want the one he's the you know I

(08:55):
can't think of the words. I just remember God bless
the US. Oh yeah, speaking of Canada though, yeah, he
also did one for Canada. There is a God Blessed Canada.
It's the same song, he just changed the lyrics. But no,
he is ultra patriotic America first. Now, we got a
lot to get to. LG also, Uh, do we still

(09:18):
have the Amazon Wedding registry where you can buy us
a ninety one Honda Civic? Is that still yeah? There? Perfect? Yeah,
as LG said, the subscriptions subbys to the channel are
absolutely free, will never cost you a thing. Uh. The
membership's a little different. We're working, still working on some

(09:38):
ideas that would actually make that content well.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
But if you are good, I try to get the
LG to do a little side hustle because he's a
controlling the kiss Cam. I'm like, one hundred dollars, slide
me a BINGI and you've got a date.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
We've got We've got to do everything in mine and
yours power to not a act LG's term of employment.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
That is, I'm not about to rig the kiss can.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
That is the goal. Man, make that money where you can.
You know what I'm saying. That that is our main
goal here. Because let's just start there the weekend recap.
We're going to extend it into Monday nights because one
of us had a hard day's work yesterday, and I,
I know, don't act like it was you. It wasn't. No,

(10:28):
not so much. No. I did a lot of driving,
but I did watch Monday night football. That was that
was hard work. Took some notes about that, but no.
LG had the first official broadcast for the Spurs as
a Spurs employee. Ah, I feel like.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
We tell us about a little bit, LG.

Speaker 4 (10:49):
I feel like we have to hear carry a camera
round where I followed a camera guy for half the game,
and then I the second half, I took over and
just carried a camera round. And I was in every
set action of the Frost Bank Center pretty much.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
Up and downstairs or he just like jumping.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
Up and downstairs. If you were on the jumbo tron
and there was a camera man standing in the aisle
filming you, the chances are it was me, very nice.
In fact, it was me because I was the only one.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
In fact, Yeah, how how heavy of a camera are
we talking about? I don't know, man, it looks.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
Nd I got to bring a luggage scale in there
and figure it out. But it was definitely the heaviest
camera I've ever put on my shoulder.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
He's gonna slip that little He's looked at this brace
for it so like it carries it on your hips.
He's gonna put that on our wedding registry.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Oh yeah, right, yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:43):
Amazon doesn't sell that. But don't tempt me. But they
don't sell that one.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
Throw it on there. Yeah. I as we were watching, well,
first of all, the dude that we did like five
minutes talking about last week, Yeah, he's not even on
the team anymore. I don't think because I didn't see
he did a man who is Yeah, I didn't.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
That's the first thing I asked, OLG. I was like,
did you see Bill Douglass what?

Speaker 2 (12:10):
I think I might have gotten my CBA teams confused.
As we were doing that last week, and I was.

Speaker 4 (12:16):
Calling them the loom Lions. It's it's the long line
long lions long, but there's two l's, two o's in there.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Yeah, I was.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
I mean, I was following your lead there as long
as it was racist, you know, look miss you know, yeah,
I apologize for the mispronouncement.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Absolutely, and it's the long Lion. And I apologize to
former Indiana Hoosier Victor Oladipo, who I didn't realize was
on the roster, along with former Wisconsin Badger Frank Kaminski. Also,
I think he ended up leading them in scoring last night.
I didn't realize they were on the roster either, and

(12:53):
I was there. That's even better. Yeah, well that's because
I didn't watch the game, that's right. So I didn't
even watch any of it. You're such a professional. You
were so locked in, uh to the to the duties
at hand, that you didn't even realize. I didn't have
time to watch the game.

Speaker 4 (13:08):
It was literally like, get to section one, fourteen, get
to two eight, get out to the Ultra courtyard, get
over here.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
And I'm just like, all right, did you tell him
please like some courtesy sirt.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
No that I don't think that's how it works.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
How it works, Uh oh no, I think it's the
gresson got his first hit of the dang series.

Speaker 4 (13:28):
I did run into a good old friend of a
friend of the show iHeartRadio Zone, j C. Carpenter out.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
Oh, good old j C. Yeah, he was hosting. He
was the in arena host. Nice. Good to see him
back doing the Uh j C is juss he's the man. Well, yeah,
what was the in schools though? J C is my
j C is my homeboy. Wasn't that the bird is
My Homeboy that they did for a while for the

(13:57):
used uh lead singer. Yeah, I'm gonna I'm excited to
hear as we as we actually get into the regular season,
I'll be excited to hear more stories from the from
the barn down there.

Speaker 3 (14:12):
I told him, I was like, dude, you're gonna do
some coldplay moments, but he kind of squashed my hopes
by being like, spurs a very PC. Anybody would low
cleavage or anything like that.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Don't do it like that, Like that picture I took
to promote the episode. Nobody, nobody told me that. But
that's just called common sense. That's just called common sense.
It's a family product. It is. If you see a nipple,
don't do it. That's exactly that's that I don't do it.
Kind of feels like that's just a rule of thumb. Nipples,

(14:46):
don't do it. That's correct, Just don't do it.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
If they're wearing flimsy shorts and no underwear. Yeah, don't
do it.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Don't do it, don't manad And if you accidentally take
a picture of that, just put the text to cover it.
So so you so you don't end up releasing your
entire undercarriage out to the world, as I almost did.
But yeah, that's just the look.

Speaker 4 (15:08):
Look I'm like, no, that's just the position I was
working that night. I'm going to be rotating around many
different positions around the broadcast department, so very nice. Well, yeah,
and if you happen to be at the game on Friday,
I will be operating the camera roaming around the Frostbank
Center as well.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
So say what's up? Yeah, who is it? It's the
in Miami? And then who is the preseason game bag?
It is? It is the terribly named Utah Yeazz Man.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
It's like, give it back to New Orleans.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
Come on, as soon as the Lakers give it back
to the t Wolves, because I don't know which is worse,
the LA Lakers or the Utah Jazz. Yeah. We actually,
I mean not as many preseason games as I judge.
You know, as I remembered, were two novels fifteen days

(16:04):
from opening night, so we got heat tomorrow night and
then Jazz Friday, and then there's only two more preseason
games after that next Monday and Friday.

Speaker 3 (16:13):
There that is split with the.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
Pacers Indiana one home and away. Yeah, they're away in home,
right exactly? Yeah, way then home, uh, and then.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
It's it's hall Burns hurt though right Wednesday. Oh yeah,
he's like almost all year, depending on in the playoffs. Yeah, yeah,
I would. I mean him and Tatum both. I think
Tatum they're saying might be a little further ahead, but
they already blew up the team, right, Yeah, Miles turned well,
Celtics blew it up. But also Indy let Miles Turner

(16:44):
go to Milwaukee as well, because they kind of see
the riding on the wall that Halliburton's out.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
Yeah. I As far as actual takeaways from the game, Wendy,
Wendy is absolutely.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
We're doing takeaways from a Chinese League preseas. Okay, you know,
the takeaway is they didn't like they played.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
But I will say it's not a takeaway on the
actual gameplay. It's a takeaway on the fact that Wemby
is morphing into young Jannis. Oh yeah, body wise, like
he's what you can just see it looks like twenty
pounds of muscle at least and definition and tone especially.
Do you see the clip from the scrimmage back over

(17:26):
the weekend where he just bodies seven foot one Luke
Cornette out of the way as he's driving to the basket, Like,
I think we're going to start to see some of
those same jumps. Yeah, he's got more web strength wise, Yeah,
we do. Speaking of that, LG, I sent you this
clip because this started making the rounds after the game. Uh,

(17:48):
you know, Wimby ends up being a little more not passive,
but ends up getting more of the teammates involved. Like
you said, the other weapons he had as what I
think he ended up with like seven assists. But this
is an all time quote and it's only the preseason
because this oh you haven't seen this all right, right,

(18:11):
just I'm gonna I won't even set it up, just
let it play.

Speaker 4 (18:13):
You had a couple of moments tonight where you probably
had a three pointer you could have taken. He would
pump out of it driving and I think both times
just to Julian for the three, is that something you're
being a little more.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
Conscious of this year?

Speaker 5 (18:24):
Yeah, with three pointers or any other kind of shot. Really,
you know, one thing I've learned in one thing we're
you know, we're learning as a team, is that you know,
there are some shots. Of course, I've probably turned out
a shot I could make with my eyes closed, but
that was to get one of my teammates a shot
he could make in his sleep, you know what I mean.
So it's not because you can make you can make

(18:48):
a shot that you have to take it. And we
have to find especially when when I'm stemming the clock,
we have to find the best option possible. And these
shots I mean can be as bad as contested fait away.
I can take a contested fait away twenty one second
clog or two seconds doesn't make a difference. So we
need and we have thirty four seconds, you know, to

(19:09):
find the best solution offensively. And this is what we're
trying to do, because this is what great teams do.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
Sounds a lot like the old beautiful game, the old
Spurs way of giving up a good shot for a
great shot, and just the very it sounded very like,
you know, Marcel pruss French philosophy. I give up, I
pass on a shot I can make with my eyes closed,
to get a teammate a shot he can make in

(19:35):
his sleep.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
Yeah, I just saw just going a rundown.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
So I'm just like a little we are We're still
only the bottom of the third, like like go back
to the bag man. I think he got caught in
no man's land. There was no recovering there. I you do.
You did mention some of the help Wemby has. Obviously
the first time getting see Carter Bryant in an actual

(20:02):
I know, preseason against a CBA team. Didn't shoot that great,
didn't shoot well. He was like one for five from three.
Defense and athleticism, I mean through the roof looking. I
think obviously it was Tim Legler put it out there
last week that he expects Carter Bryant to be a

(20:23):
defensive Player of the Year candidate within you know, by
within his first five years in the league, just because
battling it out well, you add, I mean thinking about
him so hand and Wimby potentially as you're three, four
and five when you need a defensive stop late in games.

(20:43):
It's pretty fun. It's pretty fun to think about as
we think about Spurs playing real, meaningful, playoff level basketball.

Speaker 3 (20:52):
Did I say wins or did I say forty, So.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
The number was forty four and a half, and I
think you went forty five.

Speaker 3 (21:01):
I went I went above. I say over, And that's
one of the reasons our defense is going to be stellar.
And then it wasn't you know, I've been saying it
that Stefan Castle is going to be the next Kawhi Leonard.
Other people are now saying it that this kid's got
it defensive wise and offensive wise, the ups, the shot.

(21:23):
You know, he just has that man, he's got that
dog in him. Yeah, for without without uncle, without.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
Uncle Dennis Nish, I think, I mean Stephan cast. The
further we get away from from that draft, I think
it's probably going to be, uh, you know, more and
more clear by the year that he was by far
the best prospect available that year. But again, let's still

(21:53):
you know, Castle had the expectator, had the slight injury. Yeah, championship,
I love it. I love your enthusiasm.

Speaker 3 (22:04):
I will I'm a cowboy fan when it comes to
with Spurs. You know, Okay, this is our year. This
is our year.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
Okay, every year, this is our year to make a move.

Speaker 3 (22:13):
We're gonna go to the Western Conference finals. From there,
we gotta beat Oklahoma City.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
There's a Cowboys full of full response from the crowd. Yeah,
we're I mean, you joked. We're not going to break
down preseason games every episode, but this one being the
first one and LG's first day in the office, obviously,
everyone getting a little a little geeked up for Spurs

(22:42):
basketball to return, as well as or as as for
the rest of the weekend, recap didn't really do a
whole lot this weekend. We watched a c l from
the couch. It was live streamed on Hulu. Watched a
lot of that. It was to clean the house kind
of weekend.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
I've told you the very first ACL, right Have I
ever told you that?

Speaker 2 (23:02):
I guess not? So.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
The headliners Asleep at the Wheel. No, the headliners were
Stream Cheese and G Love and the special.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
Song No Way. Yes, I I do love me.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
When you're with the fun when you're with the fun guy,
you know those fun guys that you go there with
and then you used to get to see G Love
and Stream Cheese just do a jam session for forty
five minutes.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
Yeah, that's pretty spectacular, dude. What year are we talking?
I was nineteen or twenty like early two thousands. Yeah,
I was looking at I think.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
Maybe two thousand and one, two thousand and two, something
like that, but nailed it two thousand and two, two
thousand and two. Okay, let's do this.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
You want to see, uh, how you want to take
a guess on what a full weekend past cost to
the first ACL in two thousand to one.

Speaker 3 (23:54):
It was like under one hundred bucks.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
Well it was it one to twenty buddy, it's closer
to twenty than one twenty oh twenty five dollars for
a full weekend past.

Speaker 3 (24:07):
Right, it was like because we went with five, Like
we went like four or five people and it was like,
this is the price that we need to get in there,
and then we like walked off I think it was
a zilker. And then we just walked to the some
dormhouses and went to like some random keggers.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
That checks out. So they it was a wild night.
They expected an audience of twenty five thousand, and it
ended up getting over forty thousand people that first weekend.

Speaker 3 (24:34):
You had your like rave, you had your like rave
side over here, and then you had the hippie side
over here. Then you had some of the rap like
not so much wrap was there, but then it's.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
Still still not still not a whole lot of rap where.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
It was like ors e Or's birthday. You know, I
went to e Or's birthday. A couple of time. I
went to a hippi phase. You know what I'm saying,
As as everyone should got of hairy legs and harry armpits,
well there was a lot of There were a lot
of hairy armpits.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
That is backfashionable because the best set I watched. You
ever heard of a band named wet Leg. We can
say that because it's a band name, kind of like
you can say Shit's Creek when you're talking about the TV.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
Show wet Leg, wet Leg. Why would wet leg be.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
What?

Speaker 3 (25:21):
Oh, because you're talking about your penie.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Possibly into potentially a wet third leg. No, she is.
She has fully embraced the armpit hair and it came
out and just nothing but a bikini talk little tiny
jean shorts. They were awesome. They're amazing at the best
album of the year.

Speaker 3 (25:44):
So I had to hear my dad do a bunch
of reminiscing about his time stationed over in Germany. He's like, yeah,
they don't shave the armpits over there, so you know,
I go out get a little German girl takes off
the takes off her shirt and she had more hair
than me, and she's like, is this a deal breaker?
And he's like no, I mean, I'm like, come down

(26:06):
with the details.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
But yeah, Like I think I think I get the
gist of what you're telling. I think i think I've
heard enough. Yeah, it was. There was some older like
Modest Mouse played again, always good.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
Uh what was the other really really good one? I
watched the man I'm blinking on their name they had, uh,
I mean the Killers filled in for Yeah, they had
to fill in for DOJ.

Speaker 3 (26:36):
I like their old stuff.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
I haven't really Oh, Rainbow Kitten Surprise. That was Yeah,
that was another really really good set. They were a
lot of energy, but I mean kind of look a
lot of people clearly clearly everybody is uh taking a
little step back this year and and hoarding saving some
money and not spending as much.

Speaker 3 (26:59):
So they like what was the main headliners this year?

Speaker 2 (27:01):
So it was supposed to be Doja Cat but that
two Killers ended up stepping in for. But outside of that,
I think it was like Hosier Andyser. It's not Hoisten Sauce.
It's Hosier Hosier. This one, I'm pretty sure I'm right on.
I don't know, but I'm not positive. Yeah, it wasn't

(27:23):
not a whole lot. I think like maybe even Luke
Combs that.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
Takes take me to church song for some reason that
gets me hype and I'm not a churchgoer.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
You and every other white woman because that feels, yeah,
that feels it feels like he is still riding hot.
I don't know another song by him, but that might
be on me and not not on him. The other
only other thing we did Friday night, had a buddy,
Steve was doing a barbecue pop up. Give him a
shout out here Royal Barbecue. I can see if I

(27:54):
can get it even closer there zoomed in. Uh, he
was doing a pop up down in Southtown for Friday.
Just so happened to be at our buddy's record store
down there Southtown. Vinyl had to make a had to
make an investment, and we'll see if we get flagged
for this. Blood Orange Blood Orange. Indeed, Cupid Deluxe is

(28:15):
the name of that album. A bit of an older album,
but still really good, and you might be surprised what
you find under there. The roommate found that and ended
up had to make a purchase in the wild while
we were there. So shout out Steve. The pulled pork
is still just as good as it's ever been. And

(28:38):
then only other thing I had. Do you remember last week? Oh? Yeah,
because you brought it to the table the Florida A
and MPa guy making fun of the Alabama State Honeybees,
their dance team. I swear to God, I'll be struck
down if I'm lying. Saturday morning, we woke up with

(29:01):
three bees in our bedroom. Ah, I'm not even kidding.
Living a one hundred and twenty year old house down
there on.

Speaker 3 (29:10):
This life, you know.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
Steph wakes me up and she's like, I think, like
I can hear, like I think something is you know,
like she thought it was a wash. Luckily it was
just bees, but our one hundred and twenty year old
house down there. I found a piece of our sighting
on one of the windows that had swooped had fallen down,
so it was just wide open for them to get into.

Speaker 3 (29:36):
Yeah. Started to yeah, started to do some nesting. I
was able to I'll tell you one thing. One of
the rental houses I had up on the Bougie nor.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
Siding exactly, That's what it sounded like when I woke
up Saturday morning.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
I just feel like I'm gonna hear some wu tang
right after this.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
Protect your net.

Speaker 3 (29:55):
But nah, like some wass started coming through our ace,
like our ac vits like all the time. I'm like,
we're having to chase around a wasp, you know, and
kill it. And lo and behold, a guy comes over,
takes off a full panel. Oh no, and it's probably

(30:17):
a four by eight foot nest. God, so what he
had to do smoke him out.

Speaker 2 (30:22):
You know.

Speaker 3 (30:22):
What happened about forty was wasts come flying into into
your house. So we had to sit there and hopefully
they died and all this stuff. And for like three
weeks they would just keep flooding back in and it was,
oh my god, it was a nightmare man.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
Yeah. That's it reminds me of when you see those
videos sometimes of people that like, you know, buy a
house that's been foreclosed on or something like that. They
go in there and rip a wall open and it's
just a whole nest inside there. Yeah. Not fun, but
it feels like the the honey Bees were coming to
get some retribution. Saturday morning, after our after our segment

(31:01):
last week.

Speaker 3 (31:02):
Hey, I was, I was. That was for the honey Bees.
I want Lizo to come out there in full Bees.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
You did, Yeah, and you even volunteered to wear a
honey Bees costume when we hit a thousand subscribers. So
remember Subby's are absolutely free, will never cost you anything. Drunk,
it was distraction Thursday.

Speaker 3 (31:19):
Yeah, you gotta talk to Stevo about that one.

Speaker 2 (31:21):
Yes, I don't.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
I don't talk with that guy.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
Yeah, I believe it was during your during your distraction
armageddon on Thursday night. Speaking of we've gone thirty minutes
now without even really mentioning a whole lot of.

Speaker 3 (31:36):
My guys are coming out their cocoons.

Speaker 2 (31:39):
Man, we are We are now in the top of
the fourth and it is six to three. Yes, and
we are also now in our weekend sports segment where
we are so we're gonna have to talk a lot
of baseball.

Speaker 3 (31:51):
My weekend recap was watching you know, the Yankees actually
get destroyed. But I also watched something I have to
go on another rint.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
Please dang ai, man, what now, dude? Actually, yeah, fai,
I'm with you. No they yeah, I finally lost in fantasy.
Zeb your asses on the line. Man, we need changes, dammit,
I'm talking about the real AI. What are we talking about?

Speaker 3 (32:21):
It is we have never built something that can drastically
change the world for the worst, like an atomic bomb,
and not have it regulated or press like and your
roommate just showed me that, like to get to like
what was the one million? One million people using like

(32:42):
how long it took the telephone? How long it took
the radio? How long it took this?

Speaker 2 (32:46):
You don't want to chat gtple yes, yes, five days?
Hey days? They just let it roll out. Roommate, get
in here and correct the record on this stat because
this stat it's it's a bit ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (33:05):
In her book.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
She probably locked in her books because you're you're right
to say it's the adoption curve of new technology.

Speaker 3 (33:15):
But here's the thing, and it's freaky. I watched the
Daily Show and they had an AI expert come on
out there. There's stuff like we've heard about the suicide
where the kids like, I'm thinking about leaving the noose
around so my parents will know that I'm feeling suicide.
On the chap TP. He's like, oh, don't do that,
just rely on me.

Speaker 2 (33:33):
What the what the F is that the one where
it was the it was the Game of Thrones chat
bought because that's another one too where Okay.

Speaker 3 (33:43):
Yeah, here's the stat here's the stat here, explain it
to the people. You do better, nah, the musty old earphones.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
Okay, So the statistic is how long it took Pivotal
Technologies to reach one hundred million users.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
One hundred million, not even a million, I said a million.

Speaker 1 (34:08):
One hundred million. So the telephone it took seventy five
years for one hundred million users, thirty eight years for
the radio, one hundred million users, thirteen years for the
tele television, six years for the Internet, one year for Facebook,
five days for chat GPT. Yeah, one hundred million users.

Speaker 3 (34:27):
Like we should never like we've seen all the movies,
you know, we seen like I mean, LG was watching
The Terminator original one, first come Out, trying to get
you know, trying to kill the mom of John Connor.
You know, the running Backs, Cardinals running Back.

Speaker 2 (34:47):
Yeah, yeah, but then it goes into.

Speaker 3 (34:53):
For self preservation, they made a fake email account, like
a business account, and they told uh, the AI that
we're going to terminate you, and it went through the
email account and picked up secret emails and was trying
to blackmail the president of the company of course, so

(35:20):
it's knowing its own self identity and stuff like that.
So that just shows that they're willing to do anything
to sustain its life because they feel they're alive. Matrix
hm uh a Space Odyssey and Space Ossey like what
I mean, come on, man.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
Well, and it was also the explosion of because uh,
what is it. LG helped open AI or is that
what it's called. They released their app Sora, Sam Altman
and that crew, and so all of a sudden, I'm
seeing nothing but videos of the TUPAC Wrestling Biggie on
Monday Night Raw, and it looks just like real. Yeah,

(36:01):
it kind of. It's still it's it's only the beginning
of it, which is the most terrifying thing about it,
because it's only going to continue to look more and
more real. Yeah, she dropped. I'm glad she told you
that she dropped that. She dropped that stat on me,
uh last week or a couple of weeks ago, and

(36:23):
like I had to make her repeat it. Three times.

Speaker 3 (36:25):
Yeah, because that's ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
It's insane.

Speaker 3 (36:27):
One hundred million signed up for Chat Jugiti Diizzle, that's
correct in five days five days. Yeah, that is the
craziest thing ever. And then to have now I just
saw commercials for Chat GTP BTPT double all over of
now you get to wear a necklace around your thing
and and talk to it like it's your friend.

Speaker 2 (36:50):
No, because it is your friend. Cap just let it
into your life.

Speaker 3 (36:54):
That seems like someone who's trying to take over wants
you to think.

Speaker 2 (36:56):
Huh it kind of does it? Kind of does does so?
Fluff you up? Hey you got this?

Speaker 3 (37:02):
Oh this is how you'd start a good dinner. Start
with a B C D.

Speaker 2 (37:06):
You got this, go for it, self esteem, reach around.
I don't know that that when it, when it reaches
that capability, then we might actually all be in trouble.
But until then, oh yeah, and old El Jean saw

(37:26):
the old robot dog.

Speaker 3 (37:28):
Oh he can lift three thousand pounds and blah blah blah,
and he's like, I'm gonna have to clean his house
and I'm like, and then it's gonna stare at you
while you're sleeping, just thinking, Hm, why is this mess
keep happening. What if I just took care of the
person making the mess?

Speaker 2 (37:40):
Yeah, what if I stopped the man, the mess will
never happen from being possible. Yeah, it's all. Look, there's
a like a lot of things in our world right now.
You can sit here and be scared of them, or
you can or we can stop it before it happens.
I think that's uh. I think that potentially is a

(38:03):
we It would take.

Speaker 3 (38:04):
I'm starting a five K and San Antonio anti Ai
sign up, I'll get ribbons.

Speaker 2 (38:11):
It would take Oh wait, are you say it? Like
a five k run? Like what are you gonna do?
Like the like the Taco Bell fifty k that they do,
or they run to all the different Taco Bell locations.

Speaker 3 (38:21):
And we just kick any robots or anything like okay
smash machines.

Speaker 2 (38:25):
Have you ever heard of the Have you ever heard
of the robot that I believe it was. I think
it was British scientists, but they it was this little
like wally looking robot that traveled, Uh, they had it.
The goal of it was to travel all the way
across Canada one way. Yeah, starting in like Vancouver and

(38:49):
Western Canada, go all the way over Canada, across Canada
and then circle down and go all the way back
across the US. Right. Oh, so it goes through Canada.

Speaker 4 (39:03):
It was a hitch hiking robot. Yeah, it hitches and yeah,
I think it.

Speaker 2 (39:07):
Was a robot in their car. Okay, it was Canada, Yeah,
I think it was. It was. It's literally called hitchbot.
It's a Canadian. So people let a robot in their car. Yes, yeah,
you helped it. Yeah, you helped it get on its journey. Roh.
Come on, man, So this wall this was ten years
ago or twelve of you. This was back in twenty thirteen.

(39:28):
It made it successfully across Canada, Germany and the Netherlands.

Speaker 3 (39:33):
Okay, us it like was never seen again or just
wait because this.

Speaker 2 (39:38):
Is where there is hope for you and your cause.

Speaker 3 (39:41):
Yes, and your Americans are wiley folks, that's correct.

Speaker 2 (39:45):
So they they let it loose in the United States.
First city it hit was Philadelphia. Oh yeah, gone. It
was stripped, dismembered, and decapitated in Philadelphia.

Speaker 3 (40:03):
Uh it did you know anlogy go Eagles this week,
Go Eagles.

Speaker 2 (40:09):
The goal was to get from Boston to San Francisco. Uh.
And two weeks it made it Boston, the first made
it out of Boston. Fine, Robot Philly, Hey, uh, Philly,
not not so much. Yeah, it's uh it went through Southey.
That's one of those that's one of those stories that

(40:30):
always not up end of mine. I thank you. I
think there is some hope for for the for the
rebellion or for the uh you know, stand up against
the Is.

Speaker 3 (40:41):
There some gold wiring in this thing?

Speaker 5 (40:43):
Not that?

Speaker 2 (40:44):
Yeah, I was about to say it's probably had some
decent value coppering.

Speaker 3 (40:48):
Well, that gives me hope for America all the other
But see England's put law, like they're not advancing AI.
It's just the the United States is being the wild
wet because obviously buy a bunch of Trump coin and
you can get whatever law you're going past.

Speaker 2 (41:04):
Yeah, but on the alternative, like you know, there's also
a swing too far the other way where like I
don't ever want to get jailed for a social media
post that's stupid. That's something British people like. That's why,
that's why we rebelled against that kind of crap like
that speech. Yeah, I mean, nobody's getting in trouble for

(41:25):
saying anything in US. Well, Okay, you know that's there
are there are certain things that are more threatening than
others that you shouldn't say. But I would still I
would still hate to see a speech be incriminating based
off of what you put on social media.

Speaker 3 (41:44):
And I watched John Oliver and I learned that, uh,
the loophole to bribing presidents is just funding their their
their library. I was like, you know, all you got
to do is like, hey, I'm from South Sudan and
I need to do something here. Here's one hundred k

(42:06):
or a million dollars to your local library. And it's
like legal bribery. I'm like, Jesus one thousand percent.

Speaker 2 (42:12):
Yeah, I love it. I mean that's America, America, like
I can. I wouldn't want it any other way. You're
described what you're describing as a positive to me.

Speaker 3 (42:20):
And that's why we're gonna be the first one is
taken over by a.

Speaker 2 (42:22):
No, we're gonna be the last one. We're gonna be
the last beacon. That's gonna be what gets actually gets,
uh like Broker's Peace and Russia and Ukraine, like we're
gonna need It's gonna be us in the Russians that
are like no f this, like we're.

Speaker 3 (42:37):
Done, Sindar, Sindar, like ruthlessly horrible robots over there, or
like uh like like our own suicide squad and just
take all of the worst criminals have live bro in
our overcrowded prison system and have them go fight the
hitch bot that gets on the drosts me a Johnny
five short circuit drop right now, I would love it.

Speaker 2 (42:59):
You were doing everything you can to avoid talking baseball
right now? What baseball? It's still baseball season, all right?
What is happening? Why? How are we in this position?
Because it's not just your team? Uh, Cubs dominated by
the home team down two to oh to the Brewers. Uh.
The only team that got to split was Detroit in Seattle. Uh.

(43:23):
And then the Dodgers win to on the road in Philly,
which looked like the Dodgers were going to give that
away last night if Blake Trinon had uh had more
of an opportunity to blow that thing before Sasaki came in.

Speaker 3 (43:37):
How's the how's the Mariners doing over there?

Speaker 2 (43:41):
Uh? Oh? Eight one to Detroit After that game was
delayed for two and a half something hours earlier to
three hours.

Speaker 3 (43:49):
Man, I was like, I wanted to sit here and
watch baseball all day and nuh Man, six y three
is possible. Come on, mind, little butterflies.

Speaker 2 (43:58):
How did we fly fly? How did we get to
the position where this is now an elimination game. I mean,
obviously the takeaway is vlad Guerrero hitting seven hundred with
three home runs, But well, we.

Speaker 3 (44:12):
Have our two aces that were shut down in the
Boston series just getting worked. We have a fourteen e
er or something over the past two games, and.

Speaker 2 (44:23):
Are you gonna potentially do this for sixty seconds? You
got this shit it is. Let's get my head out, Yankees.

Speaker 3 (44:34):
You're killing me. You're freaking killing me. We beat Boston,
which is successful. This is a successful season when we
beat Boston. But we got to play the Blue Jays
every year. These Canadians, they're flappy heads and beaty little eyes.
They got to learn that the Yankees run this division

(44:55):
and our pitchers are not showing up, and we want
to Rodin got ousted in the third, Free got outs
in the Probably the third is the second or third
as well. We got to come and clutch and if
it takes, I mean, next year with Garrett Cole, Max
Free Carlos Rodan Schlitler. Yes, Schlitzler is gonna be amazing.

(45:19):
He had an amazing game on the Boston shutout, made
a rookie record twelve k's eight innings pitched, had a
Koubal type of night. So bring it back to me, baby.

Speaker 2 (45:30):
We need it.

Speaker 3 (45:31):
We needed We're not down, we're not out. We're making
it dramatic.

Speaker 2 (45:36):
I don't know. It feels like if you're already talking
about next year's rotation, there might be there might be
some talk next year, so I'll talk future, like there
might be some concerns for how the rest of this
game is gonna play out, much less the rest of
this series.

Speaker 3 (45:52):
Hey, we're in the bullpen. We're in their bullpen right now,
so it's good.

Speaker 2 (45:55):
I uh, honestly, I don't think there's outside of the
Dodgers Phillies series. Like I'm kind of surprised that, uh,
Philly dropped both of those games at home.

Speaker 3 (46:08):
But I know, man, it's they just got too much.
I mean, they got their highest payroll, they got so
much talent, Like their fourth their fourth pitcher can be
a starter, anyo, be the ace on any other team.

Speaker 2 (46:22):
Yeah, and the Phillies Uh, you know, aren't getting I mean,
it's it's so bad. They're getting all booed and you
got it again? Got it? I'm telling you, in another world,
if if I could take away all of the Texan
that I wouldn't trade for anything else. But in another life,

(46:45):
it looks really fun to be a Philly sports fan.
You can do. You can just be a a hole
and everyone just says, oh, yeah, but it's a Philly fan.

Speaker 3 (46:56):
Yeah, batteries baseball players was a cop horse, I believe
at the celebration that's correct of respect in the middle
of the middle of the street in Philly.

Speaker 2 (47:10):
Fair Point, fair Point, I don't know, it's Philly.

Speaker 3 (47:15):
The what the amis are going to come in can't
be that far away.

Speaker 2 (47:19):
They He's probably only a three day trip to get
to the city.

Speaker 3 (47:23):
How would they know that they won?

Speaker 2 (47:25):
Uh? Man, since you said that, Tigers have actually scored
three runs. It's now eight to four in that Seattle game,
it's in the ninth Do you put any faith in uh,
Phillies or Cubs coming back in those series? Down two
to oh, obviously Cubs get to go back home. Phillies.
Phillies traveling to l A that feels like that series

(47:47):
is it's done.

Speaker 3 (47:49):
Brewers are there's a reason the Brewers stayed hot throughout
the end of the year. Well and didn't know they
stumbled a little bit at the end.

Speaker 2 (47:55):
Yeah, it's still held on to.

Speaker 3 (47:56):
The I think I think they just didn't they mailed
it in because they already had the best record and
knowing like in the last week, Yeah, there wasn't a
whole lot of Yeah, they could have lost every game
and still had the best record in MLB.

Speaker 2 (48:10):
I did see Cheerio ends up hitting home run the
other night, and he's now third most home run the
third most playoff home runs for a player twenty two
years or younger. Oh wow, before he turned twenty three
years old. I think he's tied with the car drop

(48:33):
the ball, Okay, and your guy was actually running.

Speaker 3 (48:36):
So yeah, well, I mean it was up there. He
could have been jogging a second.

Speaker 2 (48:40):
Yeah fair well the other night, Stanton, Oh yeah, he
watched that ball end up bouncing off the fence and
barely made it to second.

Speaker 3 (48:49):
Yeah, I that was the Boston series.

Speaker 2 (48:51):
Come on and stop? Oh was that still? That was
still the Boston game? Okay, that was awesome. They're all
running together. Now, I.

Speaker 3 (49:00):
What a bonehead. I do think the flappy little head
the most likely of the comeback.

Speaker 2 (49:09):
Even though as we're looking at the Yankees down three
runs halfway through this, I would still put the most
faith if you can get this game, I would put
the most faith in the Yankees to come back down two. Oh.
We would have.

Speaker 3 (49:26):
Awesome performance and then we would have a day off
and then I think we would go with a fried
and then just everybody's available for like two to three.

Speaker 2 (49:36):
He's not a state fair food item. It's free.

Speaker 3 (49:39):
He was fried last night.

Speaker 2 (49:42):
Hey, there's the dad joke, dad baseball joke we don't get.
Let's see the other two games tomorrow night, Dodgers Phillies
and Cubs Brewers. So we'll see. We'll talk about those thursdays,
see if those series are closed out. Before we get
too much further behind it, let's hit a little college
football before we get into cow notes and the main Seggie. Yeah,

(50:05):
where do you want to start a lot of a lot?

Speaker 3 (50:07):
I mean, don't start with my OSU Cowboys.

Speaker 2 (50:10):
Well, no, we won't start there. I don't think there's
I don't think there's gonna be a lot to talk
about with you know, the.

Speaker 3 (50:16):
Ben Affleck with the with the when he's sitting there
smoking the cigarette and it was.

Speaker 2 (50:21):
Like, oh yeah, as he's about to go to rehouse,
he was.

Speaker 3 (50:23):
Like putting on They put on the whole Uh what
you gonna call it? The OSU Cowboys uniform. My friend
Sooner sends it to me and I'm like.

Speaker 2 (50:31):
Yeah, yeah, I mean accurate.

Speaker 3 (50:36):
So let's go Longhorns.

Speaker 2 (50:38):
Okay, the preseason number one and number two teams, yeah,
are both now unranked. That is, ut and Penn State
both now completely out of the rankings. Texas loses at
the Swamp to Florida, ends up making it close there
at the end. Twenty nine to twenty one was the

(50:59):
final score.

Speaker 3 (51:00):
I thought that that extra push would keep them in
like the twenty four to twenty five or like late twenties.

Speaker 2 (51:05):
It's kind of unranked it yeah, I mean, I think
it probably says more about how they played early in
the season against you know, teams like San Jose State
and UTEP.

Speaker 3 (51:16):
So do you put this all on arch or do
you think who's the coach?

Speaker 2 (51:20):
Sarki sark Sarkisian. Do you put some on Sarkisian? Well,
first of all, I wouldn't. I wouldn't put it all
on Arch to begin with, because you watch the games,
not just the loss at Florida, but the games all
season long. It's very clear the offensive line is not
what it was last year, which makes sense. You lost

(51:42):
a first round draft pick, you lost multiple other uh
you know, got depth guys that you sent to the
league that are no longer part of the team. The
offensive line play considerably worse than it was last year,
you know, in a game where all the one bright

(52:05):
spot about Texas this season has been their defense. And again,
granted they've played Utah Sam, Houston State, San Jose State, but.

Speaker 3 (52:14):
They also Florida unringked Florida.

Speaker 2 (52:17):
So they also held Ohio State to fourteen points in
the Horseshoe opening week. So the defense has been the
bright spot while the offense has struggled. But the defense
goes out there and gives up twenty nine. Now, granted,
the what's his name Dallas of Florida's freshman five star
wide receiver who made his debut. He was absolutely unstoppable.

(52:41):
He looks true five stars. Yeah, I mean I Dallas Wilson.
I would say if he had played in Florida's first
four games. They might not have been one in three
at that point. Especially DJ Lagway also now health year
than he has been at the first part of the season.

Speaker 3 (53:03):
Passionately.

Speaker 2 (53:04):
Yeah, like they they look like they were not scared
at all, and they didn't look like a one in
three teams.

Speaker 3 (53:12):
No, that's what I'm saying. I'm like, man, these guys
came to play and they're now dogging them.

Speaker 2 (53:17):
And also, so we've you know, offense was bad. Defense
had their worst performance of the year. They also had
a punt blocked. So it was all three phases, offense, defense,
special teams, all of it.

Speaker 3 (53:31):
That's why I'm That's why I'm kind of looking at Stark.
You know what I'm saying, Uh, when you have all
three phases lacking, you know that starts at the top.

Speaker 2 (53:41):
Yeah, that's where you tend to, uh look at the
coaching and and the week of coaching.

Speaker 3 (53:48):
He's got to motivate his coaches to get their you know,
butts and gear too, you know, like what are we
doing here? Yeah, you know one with one if one
legs lacking, the other two's gotta be working.

Speaker 2 (54:02):
The problem too, is give when you got there, you
go when you go, when you start to criticize, uh,
start play calling it. It's really hard to call a
game where you can't run the ball, and that it's
it's the offensive line that's not giving Arch any time.
But it's also the offensive line that's not opening any

(54:24):
holes for the run game. So I yes, there you
could probably level some accurate critiques at Sark's way when
it comes to play calling. But also if he's calling
a run and it's not going anywhere the whole game,
what do you want him to do? Throw the ball
sixty times? I mean, and and when you see Art

(54:44):
struggling like he is. It was all of that to
say it was h It was a well oiled machine,
all working in unison, in a in a bow. Judge.
Judge just knocked the ball. I told you, I told you, butterflies.
There's a lot of coming. There's a lot of game left. Also, hey,

(55:09):
don't he don't beat that table. That's what causes us
to lose ears. I will what is it? Arches seventh game,
he's got to go through his progressed starting like it is,
Like he's so slow, he's staring down his first option
when he needs to be looking on looking like looking
them away, like so we can get the safety looking

(55:29):
the safety away. The processing speed is not manning esk right.

Speaker 3 (55:33):
Yeah, and but whenever they had their comeback, you know,
guess what it was his feet. You know, a lot
of more rollouts. They need to start putting them on
the move.

Speaker 2 (55:43):
Yeah, I don't disagree. And that's where you could probably
fall back on the criticism of sark or directed towards
sark of Look, you know, you're running games, not giving
you anything. Your offensive line can't hold a pocket. You
got to get more creative with him on the outside.

Speaker 3 (55:59):
Seems like he's trying to save save arts for the playoffs,
and it's like, you're saving them, but you're not gonna.

Speaker 2 (56:08):
Make the playoffs. I think he's saving them for the
Ala Mobile at this rate. Unfortunately. If that, Yeah, it was.
It was a pretty brutal, pretty brutal way to start
the UH Saturday college football viewing experience watching that disappointing
loss in the Swamp, and also mentioned the you know,

(56:29):
I think the Penn State losing the u c L
a way more shocking than Texas losing in the Swamp.
U CLA was winless. Yeah, they weren't just winless, they
were they looked like the worst power for team.

Speaker 3 (56:46):
They gave, they gave up, and like once again having
them ranked number two overall. I didn't get that. I
just never like I knew their defense was gonna be
solid because Penn State's defense is always solid and.

Speaker 2 (56:58):
Drew Aller returning court back, maybe.

Speaker 3 (57:01):
You always have a nice runner that goes to Penn State.
You know what, what what do what do we think
of Penn State?

Speaker 2 (57:06):
Do you think of linebackers running back? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (57:09):
You know what I'm saying. So it's like, but that
never gets you to number two. You know, maybe Alabama
back in the day with under Saban whenever he wasn't
getting the quarterbacks, but he was relying on defensive and
Derrick Henry. You know, it's type players. But I just
I just I never believe that there are a top

(57:30):
ten team.

Speaker 2 (57:30):
I don't. I mean, I don't disagree with you. Again,
it's it further shows, you know, even as even as
we're sitting here talking about the you know, uh Texas
and Penn State falling out of the top twenty five
right now, none of these numbers matter whatsoever. The fact
that Miami has moved up to number two. It doesn't

(57:52):
matter until we get to the College Football Playoff Committee
rankings because their rankings. You know, honestly, if it wasn't
for if it wasn't for television's need to sell these
early season matchups, yeah, I would just say get rid
of the ape pole all together. What purpose does it
serve besides these kind of reactions jobs well, and for

(58:18):
people like you and I to sit around and say, oh,
I can't believe they had Penn State number two in
the rankings. But what does that even? What it meant nothing?
Then it means nothing now, so what value do they
even provide besides allowing the television networks to say number
one Texas versus number two? Of course material exactly exactly

(58:42):
the speaking of the you know, now you do have
some clear separation in the polls. After I say the
polls don't matter, Miami moves up to Ohio States still
number one, Miami number two, Oregon number three, and then
you get your run of SEC schools. Uh, the three
SEC schools everyone envisioned being in the top ten after

(59:04):
six weeks Ole, Miss Texas, A and m and Oklahoma. Yeah,
those were the three not so much and then.

Speaker 3 (59:11):
Maybe old miss I could I would could have made
an argument for yeah, yeah, but Oklahoma and my what
was what was the other one?

Speaker 2 (59:21):
Who was was the other one?

Speaker 3 (59:22):
A and m A and m oh yeah, A and
M just they always seemed like you know, the old
Red Sox. You know, it's like, oh, they got all
the talent, but they always fail, you know.

Speaker 2 (59:35):
Yeah, and then they had to trade no more to
get Cabrera to actually play good defense. It's short. Yeah,
that's the thing though. Talking from the Texas perspective, You've
still you've got number six Oklahoma this week, although it
sounds like Materr might be back from that could that
could be a week only two weeks off. We'll see

(59:57):
what happens come Saturday after what was it a high
ankle spring? I don't know it was it was his
thumb on his throwing hand and it was it was surgery.
Right week, we'll see. Uh, there was a who they played, Well,
that's uh it's up in Dallas at the State Fair Gard.
Oh that's right this week, that's right.

Speaker 3 (01:00:14):
Yeah, so uh Texas, Yeah, you got you got a
man up for that game very much, so you know,
he wants to play that game.

Speaker 2 (01:00:21):
But Texas beats number six. Oh, you you know, you've
still got A and M at the end of your schedule.

Speaker 3 (01:00:28):
If Texas runs the schedule, they can get into the playoffs,
very much so. But some other things would have to
you know, balance out. Yeah, some plus some people are
gonna have to.

Speaker 2 (01:00:36):
Take a loss. Yeah, and I think if you handle
your business, sixteen or eight, still still twelve, twelve, twelve, Yeah,
still twelve at least for one. Yeah, you were all
over it. Speaking the rest of the top ten. Uh,
Indiana still undefeated, Bama slides in at eight, but then
Texas Tech back in the top ten. Yeah, and look

(01:00:59):
good good. I mean that money that money shirt does
good things. Well, you've got to invest it. You've got
to do a good job of it. And they seemingly
have done that. They one of the last you know,
Houston was undefeated but unranked, and Tech you know, don't.
They don't have many other challenging games on their schedule

(01:01:23):
because not only you know, obviously Big twelve schedule, but
they kind of got a softer Big twelve schedule.

Speaker 3 (01:01:30):
I mean, I mean, Houston plays Oklahoma State next week.

Speaker 2 (01:01:33):
So Arizona State for them, and b Yu really the
only the only other ranked teams on Tech schedule right now. Uh.
And the way Tech, the way Tech defense is playing, Uh,
they look like they they look like they might be
the best team in Texas right now. Obviously it's either

(01:01:54):
them or A and M. I was texting with my buddy.
Obviously is a lot better than Tech.

Speaker 3 (01:02:01):
But the defense, yeah, tex cut they got defense, but
they might have the best linebacker in America with Rodriguez,
I was texting, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:02:11):
Obviously the roommate born and raised in Lubbock, went to Tech,
have a bunch of friends that are all Tech fans,
and they're salivating at the chance of a Tech versus
A and M playoff matchup, or a Tech versus Texas.

Speaker 3 (01:02:29):
Obviously before Texas lost to Florida that was much more.
They're they're looking to get off the little brother status
very much.

Speaker 2 (01:02:36):
So they want to. I want to.

Speaker 3 (01:02:39):
I would love to see somehow if the rankings happened,
where A and M and Tech go against it, and
then somehow Texas Texas sneaks in, yeah, sneaks in, beats
the first round opponent, and then they got to play
each other, and then it'd be like who's the top
Texas as.

Speaker 2 (01:02:56):
It sits right now, it would be awesome to have
Texas versus is Texas Tech first round and then Tech
versus A and M if they progress there. So I mean,
obviously the Aggie's and Tech are doing their part so far.
We'll see, don't exactly.

Speaker 3 (01:03:14):
So when is Texas? Did they get an off week
after the Red River robbery? Because he needs to go
talk to his uncles, you know what I'm saying. Arts
needs to get back in there and get in the
lab and learn to start looking away safe.

Speaker 2 (01:03:31):
Yeah, no, Texas is already. I feel like they all
but they get two. They get two, so we're going eleventh, eighteenth,
twenty fifth, so they don't. Texas doesn't get a bye
until after the week of November seventh or November eighth,
technically is that Saturday, So they would They've got OEU

(01:03:55):
this week, then Kentucky, Mississippi State Vanderbilt, then a bye,
then Georgia and then close with oh, they got to
play Georgia. That's if they get if they get into Georgia,
if they if they beat Georgia at Georgia, they could
sneak in. If they got to run the table again. Yeah,
I mean you run the table. You're a two loss

(01:04:15):
SEC team. We've seen that pathway to get in until
you got on your team tends to help convince the
playoff committee you might be better than a than a
two loss ACC or Big twelve team. The only other
games that really jumped out from the weekend of college football,

(01:04:36):
we did see another unbeaten go down. The Iowa State
Cyclones lost their first game of the season. They were
all all the way up to fourteenth in the polls.
They end up losing to Cincy. What did they move
to Big ten? No, they stayed Big twelve.

Speaker 3 (01:04:52):
They still say, so Tech is now on top?

Speaker 2 (01:04:58):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, technically they're on top. But also b
YU still undefeated by us in the Big twelve now
and so more conference. Yeah, but tech is Tech is
much higher in the rankings. I think d YU slid
into the mid teens, maybe late teens. Yeah, they're eighteenth
now and then gets it fortunately. Uh the road the

(01:05:26):
Roadrunners had a rough, rough road trip up to the Northeast.
They blow the game late up in.

Speaker 3 (01:05:34):
Up against them.

Speaker 2 (01:05:36):
Is this number four?

Speaker 3 (01:05:37):
They like, it comes down to like the last drive
or number three?

Speaker 2 (01:05:42):
Well, this season alone. It's it's three but they've won
one of them and lost two of them. The now
three of them, well, no, that's they've been in three
games where they it was a final drive situation. Uh,
lose the one with Texas State, win Colorado State, and
now lose Temple twenty one, twenty seven. I was listening

(01:06:07):
to Uncle Andy on the call as I had the
radio on UTSA and then had the quad box of
games on on the TV, and just you could hear
the you know, as it was as it was starting
to go the way of the bad guys. I could
just hear Uncle Andy thinking like, man, this is not
going to be a fun plane ride back from Philly. Philly.

(01:06:30):
Talk on the program so far today, But yeah, UTSA
now turns around. Have y'all have you seen what Rice
has done this year? Okay, I don't know why I would.

Speaker 3 (01:06:42):
I mean, Rice is on my you know, it's up
on the big sheet, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
Yeah, we keep tabs on Rice. Isn't that that's in
Texas right Houston? Yeah? Of course they hired a new
coach and he runs old school triple option offense.

Speaker 3 (01:06:57):
Oh wow, so he's like from like an army style
very very much army. We throw the ball five times again?

Speaker 2 (01:07:04):
Yeah, like you know ou when Troy transferred out of
there because he never got to throw the ball. Yeah.
Rice travels over to the Dome this Saturday night night
game against against the Runner. So hopefully they don't get
run over by that triple option offense and they can

(01:07:24):
get back on the right track match. I didn't even
intend to do that one, but I will take it.
Let's jump into some cow notes before we lose too
much more time. It's not going to be a long
cow notes because there's not much to take away from
playing these.

Speaker 3 (01:07:43):
Almost letting justin fields come back on them a.

Speaker 2 (01:07:48):
G l G.

Speaker 3 (01:07:51):
What what happened to a sky camera operator if they
they affected a play that could have possibly gave determined
outcome again, determined score of the game.

Speaker 2 (01:08:05):
Probably nothing, nothing, they got that good a job security.
I don't know. He was saying, those people are the
money makers. Yeah, they fly him in yeh oh, god man,
just think.

Speaker 3 (01:08:16):
Of that ball like like actually scores.

Speaker 2 (01:08:20):
So I've read a couple of different ways, like it
seems like so the the it was Dante Fowler that
deflects the path really didn't deflect the pack. Justin Fields
just threw it right into his face mask, right into
his helmet. The ball bounces up, Kenny Clark is waiting
under it, and Kenny Clark was talking about He was like,

(01:08:40):
I'm about to have my first career interception. I'm already
thinking about how I'm I'm gonna it's gonna be a
thick six. I'm gonna run it back. And then the
ball hit the skycam. Yeah, so I have the skycam listed.
You can vouch for me. That's the first loser on
the list. I had that right right off the bit. No.

(01:09:02):
I was reading though, it seems like the play potentially
should have been called dead and and like redone, as
if there was offsetting penalties, Like.

Speaker 3 (01:09:16):
It's all the last baseball hit the top of Tampa's roof.

Speaker 2 (01:09:19):
You know you play on, Yeah, you play all you
wait for it to bounce around the catwalk up there
until it falls down. Yeah. Look, I don't know. Again.
We're gonna do winners and losers like we always do.
And I got a couple of clips for you from
the game. But when Ryan Flinoy gets six catches for
one hundred and fifteen yards, I think that kind of

(01:09:43):
tells you either he's about to be the next Miles
Austin breakout wearing number nineteen, or the Jets are just
that bad. Yeah, the Jets are I think, uh they're
the first team now just fie to start zero to
five and not get not have any takeaways as a defense.
Oh my god, have zero takeaways.

Speaker 3 (01:10:05):
So that just shows you how much Robert sala like
actually did some work when he was a head coach
because their defense was actually feared. Sauce Gardner got burned
on a bunch of plays, so he was.

Speaker 2 (01:10:18):
He was lined up on Pickens on twenty five of
the twenty eight routes that Pickens ran, and Pickens still
had fifty something yard fifty two yards and a touchdown.

Speaker 3 (01:10:30):
Yeah, like yeah, and it was just like and he
had penalties too, Yeah, I think he had like two
two pis and a holding or something like that.

Speaker 2 (01:10:38):
It was such a brutal you know, despite it going
the Cowboys way, it was just such a brutal watch
as their you know, sloppy penalties. You know, third leg
Greg is paired with a backup announcer and they have
no chemistry because what's his name, Joe Davis is doing

(01:11:00):
baseball playoff baseball for Fox. So you know, Greg was
let down by his announcing partner. That was bad. The
game was sloppy.

Speaker 3 (01:11:09):
I watched Red Zone, so it's like, I like, they
didn't show a lot of the Cowboys. They like, oh,
quick hitters, you know, because we show you every score
and you know that scored so everyone. That's how I
got the Cowboys updates. And then I was like, man,
I slotted justin fields in a bunch of fantasy leagues
because I'm like, oh, Cowboys defense, justin fields, he'll score

(01:11:30):
some points.

Speaker 2 (01:11:31):
Well, they did score some point in trash time. I
love trash two ends up two hundred and eighty three yards,
two touchdowns, no interceptions, but was sacked five times in
the game, and really, like you said, all the majority
of his chunk yardage there came in you know, throwaway
trash time when the game was well well within hand

(01:11:54):
for Dallas. It that's why I like, you know, Javonte
Williams has career high rushing day, goes for what was it,
one thirty five one rushing touchdown, ends up also catching
a touchdown as well, you know, joking about Ryan Flinoy.
But that was a nice to see a breakout game

(01:12:15):
from a you know, a receiver down on the depth
chart who's getting time because of the CD injury. You know,
to see him put up number. It's still it's still
an NFL team. They're playing, as bad as they are,
it's still you've got to give credit for the way

(01:12:35):
they went out and took care of business offensively and defensively.
I mean there the defense absolutely was you know, showed
signs of improvement there in that first half, at least
signs that we hadn't seen all season, which again, yeah,
you don't take too much away from it because it's
the Jets, but you also got to at least give

(01:12:59):
a little bit of or have a little bit of
hope that this thing might be turning back in a
better direction on the defensive side of the ball, because
when you're dead last in total defense, there's nowhere else
for you to go. No, so at least now they're
no longer dead last. Still number one in offense, Dak

(01:13:19):
goes for two hundred and thirty seven yards, but he
wasn't as accurate, only eighteen for twenty nine. But again
you want to pick apart the accuracy had four touchdowns
and and actually ran the ball too. I had twenty
eight rushing yards, seemingly more comfortable putting putting the ball
down and running with it.

Speaker 3 (01:13:38):
But the only thing, the only thing to give breadth
about this is Jerre catn't find a quarter mill for
giving the finger.

Speaker 2 (01:13:45):
So hold on to that thought, hold on to that thought.
We're gonna do. Let me do winners. And then I
got it. I got a couple of clips for you
because this was this was a very old school Cowboys
game in a lot of ways. So winners Clayton Adams
back to back weeks now, I mean watching mentioned Javonte

(01:14:07):
Williams with career high rushing yards. I thought Greg greg
Olsen was great talking about this during the broadcast. You
watch the way the Cowboys are running the ball this year,
and it looks like the offensive linemen are running pass
routes because they're setting up tunnels downfield. There there's there's

(01:14:28):
way more like like trap design. And the line is
is it just looks way different than it did last year,
And I think that is direct. That's Clayton Adams involvement.
He might be a one and done guy. If he
might be getting he's running good schemes.

Speaker 3 (01:14:46):
Now the only thing is like they're gonna just of course,
but let's see what Clayton Adams has to do, and like,
you know, the second half of the.

Speaker 2 (01:14:53):
Year, Yeah, I would, uh you know, anytime you have
two scoring drives of ninety plus yards and you're playing
with at one point, they had so they started the
game down for starting linemen. So they're starting the game
with uh, you know, four backup o linemen, end up

(01:15:14):
having a fifth dude, the kid from Michigan came in
as well. So five backup linemen played in this game,
and you're running back had his career high total end yardage.
I think you obviously give Javonte Williams credit for running
the ball like that, but a lot of that is
Clayton Adams run scheme mentioned Illinois obvious winner. I think

(01:15:37):
the along with the the wa hey, Jessey, go on,
let's go. There's still a lot of baseball lests. I
told you, I told you it was six to one,
and I felt like you were about to walk out
mid show. I was, I was worried I wasn't gonna
get you in the room to start the show. How yeah,

(01:15:59):
a little bit mentioned Javante obviously as a winner. Jake
Ferguson also Fergie goes two touchdown catches, continues to be
a reception machine. Now granted he only had like forty
yards forty something yards, but seven receptions, two touchdown pr

(01:16:20):
PPR goal. Baby, Yeah, I the person that beat us
in fantasy this week. They had, I mean they had Davante.
I think they had ferg they had Uh, I don't want.

Speaker 3 (01:16:30):
To will Oh my god, yeah, I lost five leagues
on Monday nights game.

Speaker 2 (01:16:36):
Oh good lord.

Speaker 3 (01:16:37):
Oh so, so we recapped the Kansas City game.

Speaker 2 (01:16:40):
I got some thoughts perfect other lastly winners. Uh. James
Houston continues to actually contribute to put sack numbers on
the board. He gets another sack I think actually sack
in a half. Nice and then the winners slash losers

(01:17:00):
that kind of play into each other. Winners Mayriss lea
foul and Shamar James, the young linebackers losers Jack Sanborn
and Kenneth Murray Junior. It's pretty clear to me that
the young guys need to be getting more snaps.

Speaker 5 (01:17:15):
Now.

Speaker 2 (01:17:16):
Yeah, there's a lot of misleading stats here because Shamar
James was the leading tackler. He had fifteen tackles. He
didn't play that great, but he showed more athleticism and
signs of potential, uh bigger impact than the guys. He's

(01:17:36):
taken playing time away from Lea Fouls the big one.
I mean, Lea Fouls punched the ball out of Breis
Hall's hands there in the second quarter. Briisce Hall, you know,
still averaged eight something eight point something yards. He is
a beast. He is a beast. But Lea Foul jets
uh be curious to see where he's at after the

(01:17:58):
trade deadline. Then he ends up getting injured and leaving
the game early. And I know the first joke is instantly,
oh well, like finally iber Flus will take him off
the field because he has to because he's injured. But
I Sanborn was playing probably his best game of the
season when he did get when he did get injured

(01:18:21):
with the concussion protocol there and then Kenneth Murray Junior. Again,
we've talked about it multiple times. He's the one that
I would be looking to pass some of that playing
time to the younger guys and Leah Foul and James.
But Losers mentioned the sky cam mention Aaron Glenn, the
now starting zero to five a defensive coach, defensive coordinator

(01:18:43):
for the Lions last year, and the defense has some
zero takeaways, not not a good look. Mentioned Breis Hall
that fumble in the second quarter as as you would
like to say, really swung the momentum there, really swung
the momentum back to the cowboys favor. And then Justin
Field's five sacks looks like arch the processing speed is

(01:19:07):
just not at the level of the competition, holding the
ball way too long. And then lastly we saw mister
reliable actually make a mistake. You remember the odd sequence
where Cowboys score touchdown, kick the extra point. Jets are

(01:19:29):
off side, so Shoty takes the point off the board
to go for two from the one yard line, accepts
the penalty. It's gonna go for two, but then the
Cowboys false start, so now it's back at the six.
So then Shody decides, well, okay, now we're gonna kick
the extra point. Well, damn it if Brandon Aubrey didn't
doink that thing. Miss the extra point, So Aubrey no

(01:19:53):
longer perfect on the season. But get it out of
get it out of your system now, in a game
that didn't match you mentioned, So well, let's start with
that one. Because Jerry after the game, judging by the
you know, just watching on TV, I'm not sure there
were three Jets fans that stayed after halftime. That thing

(01:20:17):
was all Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (01:20:18):
But I think the fact that he's glowing against the Jets.

Speaker 2 (01:20:22):
The windless Jets also not just the windless Jets, the
Jets that we talked about last week that have won
two division titles in the last fifty years. It's the Jets. Well,
we got to talk about him and the lightning around Jerry.

Speaker 3 (01:20:39):
I think I thought it was only Puerto Ricans this step.

Speaker 2 (01:20:42):
I think Jerry found three of the Jets fans that
did state until the end of the game, because we
got this glorious clip of him letting some Jets fans
know exactly how he feels, uh selecting one specific finger.

Speaker 3 (01:21:00):
Oh, but he just he just held up the wrong fingers.
What he says, I'll let you be the judge that
looks Oh he changed it so quick, the finger and.

Speaker 2 (01:21:11):
Then the handpoint right after it. That ye, yeah, like
I'm letting specifically just a little of course, a little man,
you a little little man. So his explanation, I was
trying to give a thumbs up to a Cowboy fan, yeah,
and then point.

Speaker 3 (01:21:30):
Him out, Well, I mean the thumbs up this way,
the other one this way. You know, Come on, man,
I'm not sure that is to believe the old Richard.

Speaker 2 (01:21:42):
I gave him the wrong finger, That's right, very U
two hundred and fifty thousand dollars fine for that, as
I think would probably be expected. But that was a
fun clip. This was my favorite clip of the entire game,
and I was as we were watching it happen. You

(01:22:04):
couldn't see this angle and I never saw it on
a replay until yesterday when it was tweeted out. This
is Nate Thomas, one of the backup offensive linemen. You'll
see him here at the top left of the screen,
number I believe seventy one. As the Cowboys score this touchdown,
you see Nate Thomas get called for a unsportsmanlike penalty,

(01:22:29):
unsportsmanlike conduct. See if you can see if you can
figure out exactly what it is he did wrong? Here?

Speaker 3 (01:22:41):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:22:41):
Did he did? He did three? He did the three?
Everyone bumps to only two bumps? Literally did the key
and pill sketch the third punk got him.

Speaker 3 (01:22:55):
Thanks Lonnie for the super chat, he said, missing four
offensive linemen for y'all, y'all still yeah, the Cowboys were
missing four offensive.

Speaker 2 (01:23:03):
Lineman, four starters, and you could argue the.

Speaker 3 (01:23:07):
He might want to keep those guys in there, buddy, Well, I.

Speaker 2 (01:23:10):
Look so Nate Thomas specifically, he absolutely I think he
earned himself some playing time even when Guyden gets back,
because Guidon was already shaky, shaky and getting pulled at
different points and games to to rotate that line, I
think Nate Thomas absolutely is in line for more playing time,

(01:23:34):
which also allows them to be more cautious with with
Guidon's injury. Although I think it's a concussion, so it's
not like there's a whole lot of like muscle recovery there.

Speaker 3 (01:23:47):
But I do enough of the Cowgirl.

Speaker 2 (01:23:49):
I do think we might see the triple pump again.
He'll be on the field more often. Uh yeah, again,
if he does the delay, that's the I would love it.
If he's and then and then wait, it would be great.
It would be great if Dak did it this next
week against Carolina in support of right to the whole.

(01:24:12):
Are they sending him they are. How about an easy
and still second to whoa whoa? Stay? Yeah stay, you're
getting that bud In a review there, it looks like, yeah,
enough of the Cowboys. They it's a weird stretch for them.
Because everything I said about this Jets game, if they

(01:24:33):
do that again this week against Carolina, I feel like
I'm gonna say the exact same thing where it's like, well,
yeah it's Carolina. I don't know, let's see this, although
I will say we're gonna talk more. Backfoot was on
We're gonna tell one challenge left more on Thursday about
the Carolina game. So Rico Daldle did go for two hundred.

Speaker 3 (01:24:55):
I was like, so, what if I told you the
best game to watch this weekend was the Carolina Panthers
and the Miami Dolphins.

Speaker 2 (01:25:04):
You sound like the thirty for thirty gat What if
I told you?

Speaker 3 (01:25:07):
What if I interest you you in this?

Speaker 2 (01:25:11):
Was that better? What if I could sell you what
if I told you the two best games or two
of the better games this week? Fall under the Cam
Newton ass category because that Titans Cardinals game was also
full of de mercado. Stupid, stupid man, dude, Well, let's

(01:25:32):
get into it. We'll start as always, We're gonna team
dude the rest of it. I lost that one NFL
Week five results starting before. We're gonna start with the Niners.
But I mentioned at the top the Vegas has decided
that there are five teams that have separated themselves from

(01:25:52):
everyone else. And so when we look at our as always,
we do it contenders first, then playoff teams then, and
then we mentioned ass at the end, the five teams Vegas.
You want to take a swing at them, h Buffalo
number one odds, Buffalo odds to win the Super Bowl,
number one odds, Buffalo.

Speaker 3 (01:26:11):
Then we're gonna go to Philly number five. Yeah, they
dropped this week.

Speaker 2 (01:26:18):
And then let's go with Indiana Jones number eight, damn it,
Niners number six. But the gap so here, since we're
on five and six there, Philly is uh, this is
just bet three sixty five. Philly is plus seven fifty

(01:26:40):
and the Niners are plus eighteen hundred. And if you want,
if you wanted MGM odds, Phillies plus seven to fifty
nine Ers plus seventeen hundred, so a little bit better
on MGM. But that's that's a huge gap. The gap
that's the gap. So Buffalo number one. Then your NFC
North teams, the NFC Detroit, Green Bay, Toy, Green Bay,

(01:27:02):
uh and and Buffalo plus both of them, Buffalo plus
four fifty, Detroit plus seven hundred, Green Bay plus eight fifty.

Speaker 3 (01:27:11):
And then the Green Bay has a bounce back after
that loss after the bye week.

Speaker 2 (01:27:16):
The number four team, And this is as of right now,
and I will refresh it just to make sure I
am still up to date. The number four team, ironically
not the Jaguars, but the team they beat, The Chiefs,
still have the fourth best odds because of.

Speaker 3 (01:27:36):
Mahomes, because of the refs, purely Mahomes and the love
of Mahomes.

Speaker 2 (01:27:41):
We'll talk about we'll talk about that in a minute.

Speaker 3 (01:27:43):
I text you all game. I was like, we were
going back, look at that momentum killer. Hey, funny that
they did.

Speaker 2 (01:27:51):
What was it?

Speaker 3 (01:27:52):
Non pi But it was a two yard reception, but
you can only get one yard of the well.

Speaker 2 (01:27:57):
The contact, Well, we'll talk about that, and it's because
they're it went the other way.

Speaker 3 (01:28:01):
That one was on the goal line.

Speaker 2 (01:28:02):
No, it wasn't. Was that the one yard line?

Speaker 3 (01:28:04):
That one wasn't the one that he was but the
contact was further up. You got it like that can't
that's by rule, it's where the contact is made.

Speaker 2 (01:28:12):
You're talking like there's interdimensional planes on the football field
where so he's on the one yard line, but.

Speaker 3 (01:28:19):
The co So here's the thing. If he jumps out
and does something, do you call it to where he
contacts him or do you call it where his back
feet are? So, yeah, I rest my case.

Speaker 2 (01:28:32):
No, I think I still rest my case. My case
your case does he gets stretched out three yard your
case may be rested, but it didn't matter by the
end of the game. Start with your niners. Though we
watched that game. How'd y'all like that ending? Baby?

Speaker 3 (01:28:46):
Oh oh, y'all salty, salty cowboy fans. My all I
say is my fantasy football chat was pretty pretty quiet.
A lot of crickets up in there. But Mac Jones,
God man, we're putting a he's getting a bean putting
on him. They had to carry him off the field,
and I'm just almost his pants ripped off. No ass, Mac, he.

Speaker 2 (01:29:09):
Did look like he's got bull frog ass. He's got
like country ass, like.

Speaker 3 (01:29:14):
The old the old Family Guy meme where he's like
number one, number two number one, number two when they're
doing the eye test Nat Jones and brock perty I
think number one is just a little bit better. And
I'm like, but no, Kyle Shanahan, Uh so I got
a crazy staff for you.

Speaker 2 (01:29:34):
Yeah, y'all's ability to win games with all of the injuries.

Speaker 3 (01:29:38):
Yeah, Shanahan is. And Daddy he out coaches with less
talented people the quarterbacks than McVeigh ever could. He's only
coached two qbs as a head coach and both of
them are number one picks overall. And Stafford Now, what

(01:30:00):
was it Jimmy Garoppolo career backup basically Nick Mullin's undrafted
Brock Purty seventh round pick, Mac Jones, discarded journeyman.

Speaker 2 (01:30:09):
Nick Mullen good stand up comedian?

Speaker 3 (01:30:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:30:13):
Is he actually a stand up comedian? Not the same guy?
There is a great comedy, yeame Nick Mullen.

Speaker 3 (01:30:20):
He uh yeah, so far? I mean Levi South is
still our house man. Don't ever put eight and a
half point dogs on us every game now.

Speaker 2 (01:30:28):
And we talked about it last Thursday, obviously because it
was the Thursday night football game.

Speaker 3 (01:30:33):
Sam made like ten thousand dollars on that one.

Speaker 2 (01:30:35):
Yeah, I didn't make as much as my buddy Truman did,
but it was it was shocking to see the UH
to see Vegas give that much of a boost to
the Rams based off the injuries, because yeah, that just
felt like a game, even just any divisional game between

(01:30:58):
those two teams. Despite what the end, it just doesn't
feel like that's gonna be in.

Speaker 3 (01:31:02):
And here's the thing, man, we found Shannon has found
his second tight end to compliment Kittle. When we're gonna
start running that two tight end offense, and we got
Tonges and Kittle, both of them great pass catchers, route
runners and blockers, it's gonna get scary. We need to
open up our run game. Brian Robinson seems like a

(01:31:23):
bust of a trade uh off.

Speaker 2 (01:31:26):
How come he? How can he not get well?

Speaker 3 (01:31:29):
We are running game in a hole is probably one
of the lat we're towards the end of the league.
But we're like McCaffrey, man, we just do swing passes
out to him, which is just like elongated run.

Speaker 2 (01:31:40):
But it's a pass.

Speaker 3 (01:31:42):
But you know, you know, that's just like that's how
we're winning the games now, you know, when we have
a UK back, when we have UH but we have
a cawing back. Uh, he's a new young prospect. When
we have Kittle back, and then the emergency, when we

(01:32:05):
have Pearce All back, we're going to be a threat
and they're not going to be able to crowd the line.

Speaker 2 (01:32:11):
What's the what's the update on Party Party?

Speaker 3 (01:32:15):
I think he's I think he might start next game.
It was like, if it wasn't a Thursday night game,
he could have toughed it out. But I think mc
donald's gonna need more than ten days. After that game,
he looked rough man.

Speaker 2 (01:32:29):
Yeah it does. He got beat up. It doesn't seem
like Vegas. I mean again, now, I don't know how
to judge this line.

Speaker 3 (01:32:38):
Our next our next game as well, Tampa Tampa Bay.

Speaker 2 (01:32:41):
At Tampa Bay, both four and one teams, three twenty
five kickoff. You want to guess the line right now?

Speaker 3 (01:32:48):
Tampa Bay three and a half.

Speaker 2 (01:32:50):
Close, two and a half Tampa Bay. They give him
less than one point on the home field advantage they are.
That's what makes me think Vegas is leaning Party being back.
But again, you just saw Mac Jones beat a division
in prime time and it wasn't just a you know,
a driver, hell of some throws.

Speaker 3 (01:33:12):
I'm just like you fit in tight areas.

Speaker 2 (01:33:14):
It's just I should mention also Cowboys Panthers. Uh, Cowboy,
Well you want to guess on that one three and
a half, three and a half, No, Dallas three and
a half point favorite. You should have just let I
wouldn't have should have let yourself have that.

Speaker 3 (01:33:28):
I would I would have given him. I would have
like I would have been around that area. I probably
would have said four and a half. But with Rico Daddle,
he's gonna come back, and uh, I love playing against
the team that let him go.

Speaker 2 (01:33:41):
Yeah, the Cowboys are bigger favorites against Carolina than they
were against the Jets, both on the road.

Speaker 3 (01:33:47):
Well, I think it was the fact that.

Speaker 2 (01:33:49):
The Jets the Panthers actually yeah, won.

Speaker 3 (01:33:53):
A game last week exactly. I think it's just all
the talent that the Jets had on defense. He thought
they were gonna put up more things. And then Justin
Field's coming back. You thought he was gonna run do
the playofption with Breese Hall and he actually had a
great game of Garrett Wilson before he went out for
what one game, right, one or two games?

Speaker 2 (01:34:13):
Uh? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:34:14):
Yeah, So there was I think there was a lot
of prospecting on that game with the Jets, so I
think that's why they got like a little bit more love.
But now it's kind of coming back to fruition that. Yeah,
Dallas's offenses.

Speaker 2 (01:34:29):
He kicks, he puts up points, puts up points. Yeah,
still averaging thirty thirty plus points now on the season.
You have anything else, uh for the Niners. Before we
go through the rest of the man, I just thank
you to all my haters, so we will mention you. Well,
you didn't he gives me, gives me that tiger blood,

(01:34:49):
that rock a fewel you didn't hate the Cowboys enough
to pick against them. I should make it know that
you did get a win because you pick the Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (01:34:57):
I'm not an idiot, and we both.

Speaker 2 (01:34:59):
Got wins by picking the forty nine ers. We'll get
to the rest of our picks after we go through
the games here, starting with the NFL no longer has
an unbeaten team. I know we have well and Philly
Philly as well. Yeah, Denver beat Philly early in the day.

Speaker 3 (01:35:18):
Boone Knicks looked good on the road.

Speaker 2 (01:35:22):
That was crazy Philly.

Speaker 3 (01:35:23):
Yeah, he made some tight catches him and sudden started
hitting it off like it was the end of last year.

Speaker 2 (01:35:28):
Also, Denver down fourteen, down two touchdowns in that game,
charging back to win it again. On the defense is nasty.

Speaker 3 (01:35:37):
Yeah, the defense is what I thought they were going
to be in the beginning of the year. They're they're
starting to click.

Speaker 2 (01:35:42):
And we also talked about the stat last week where
Eagles were four and oh but they had been out
gained in all four of those games, like Eagles have problems.

Speaker 3 (01:35:51):
Yeah, it was good. That's why I'm surprised. The line
from five to six is so huge. Like all we're
gonna do is get healthier in San fran And the Eagles,
who are they missing nobody and they're just looking like crap.

Speaker 2 (01:36:07):
I think they have a lineman lineman Yeah, yeah, yeah, you.

Speaker 3 (01:36:11):
Get up to like double digchits, let me know.

Speaker 2 (01:36:13):
Right, no, no, no, no, that's a triple. That's a triple. Now,
it's definitely gonna be a triple.

Speaker 3 (01:36:23):
Oh because Judge can't run all right, mind they walk Judge.

Speaker 2 (01:36:28):
And santandor just ate grass out in the right field
trying to dive for that thing. How's that? How's that?

Speaker 3 (01:36:34):
American grass take tastes like freedom?

Speaker 2 (01:36:41):
Shoot, a snot rocket. I wasn't. I wasn't ready for
ultra patriotic cat. You swing violently between both polar opposites.
I can't.

Speaker 3 (01:36:50):
Hey, I got American flag tattoo.

Speaker 2 (01:36:51):
On me and a Trump coin in your pocket.

Speaker 3 (01:36:56):
Day I might need a Yeah, I'm not an idiot.

Speaker 2 (01:37:03):
Yeah, Broncos beat Eagles twenty one seventeen. Lions destroy the
Bengals thirty seven to twenty four. But they make a trade.

Speaker 3 (01:37:14):
Yeah, I got Flacco, Oh Man Flacco.

Speaker 2 (01:37:16):
God, I wish it was Winston flat I know I was.
That was the first thing I thought of. It would
have been so much, you know, would have been so much.

Speaker 3 (01:37:24):
Jamar Chase finally a game.

Speaker 2 (01:37:27):
Oh yeah, hold on, Do I get credit for tackles
that jam Jamar? Yeah? Because they have five solo tackles
this year.

Speaker 3 (01:37:35):
Thank you, Thank you Royce for your one ninety nine
uh super chat and awesome stat is. Jamar Chase has
five solo tackles, while michaeh Well Michael Park persons Michael
Park Myerson has four solo tackles.

Speaker 2 (01:37:53):
Okay, well, okay, And and I think James.

Speaker 3 (01:37:57):
Houston was a little bitter over in cowboy Land.

Speaker 2 (01:37:59):
I think James Houston has more sacks than Micah does
as well, so you get what you paid for. Not
at all very nice, Yeah, not at all taking into
account the actual defensive pressures and the individual success rate
Micah has. But yes, no, Jamar Chase has more solo

(01:38:21):
tackles than do that's a that's more of a or.

Speaker 3 (01:38:25):
Royce came on and told me that one. I am
not keeping up to date with any of those. Well
except I'm not keeping up with the tackles with Jamar Chase.
He needs a catch up.

Speaker 2 (01:38:34):
Damn.

Speaker 3 (01:38:35):
Yeah. Well, if we had idp's, which is individual defensive players,
you would have got the points. But we don't have
any IDPs this thing.

Speaker 2 (01:38:43):
I'm just curious because zeb we're gonna have to make
some changes. We might be one lost. Jamar might be
on the chopping blog.

Speaker 3 (01:38:50):
Okay, we'll get into that lightning round. I got I
got hosed again.

Speaker 2 (01:38:54):
The uh the Flacco trade is interesting because I really
as as bad as Flacco is looking in Cleveland, I
think it does help sency, but it's a matter of
how how savable is this season.

Speaker 3 (01:39:06):
I mean, here, here, here's here's my thing. Why did
Joe Burrow go down? Because he was getting sacked.

Speaker 2 (01:39:13):
Yeah, so you go out in trade for a stay
in the pocket. That's why I wanted to see James
James man create some you know, some backyard football action.
The Bengals are only two and three. The Steelers are

(01:39:33):
leading that division at what three and one? But they
were on a bye week this week? Oh should also yeah, yeah,
we'll talk about the Buds in a second. Ravens look
like they are in a full tail.

Speaker 3 (01:39:46):
They got they got niner injuries on defense.

Speaker 2 (01:39:48):
There's a chance that Joe Flacco could find some magic
and keep the Bengals afloat until Burrow is back in December.
Kill me with that, but it's never.

Speaker 3 (01:40:01):
What do you mean call?

Speaker 2 (01:40:02):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (01:40:04):
The Baltimore and the Bolts. The Chargers did a trade
defensive wise. They traded some studs in like a fourth
and a fifth round er. Uh. It looks like Baltimore
is going to change up the whole scheme on defense.
They're looking to play more nickel than four to three.

(01:40:24):
So oh I missed Yeah, yeah, that trade happened today.

Speaker 2 (01:40:28):
Oh well for gil Oh I missed this yeah yeah yeah, yeah, wow.

Speaker 3 (01:40:33):
Okay, So it looks like they have diagnosed the problem
up in Baltimore, and they're their defense is hot garbage.

Speaker 2 (01:40:43):
Yeah, you know, and the Cooper Rush hype train might
might officially derail in Baltimore.

Speaker 3 (01:40:54):
Oh my sweet Cooper Rush when he played for the
the Cowgirls.

Speaker 2 (01:40:59):
Yeah, it did quite translate as well this weekend for them.
But the uh rest of the contenders here, Oh what
are we doing? A makeshift LG stream? I like that?
Uh you mentioned the Bills also went down. Pat's beat
the Bills twenty three to twenty there on Sunday Night

(01:41:19):
football potentially there we call it a signature win for
not only Drake May, but what's his name? Yeah, they're like,
people are he's fringing Mike Blank first, Yeah, he's he's
Him and Shanahan are going to be looking for uh

(01:41:41):
man wa way to go to hit a little bouncer
on the plate, John Carlow, I'm gonna call you, Michael,
your bomb named you Michael. What's like?

Speaker 3 (01:41:51):
Uh Vrabel and Shanahan are going to be in the
running for Coach of the Year if.

Speaker 2 (01:41:56):
The Patriots continue this I mean three and two record
now back over five hundred with the win in Buffalo.
Looking at what's that nine and eight.

Speaker 3 (01:42:06):
They really shut down that offense. Dig Digs in May,
Like I was thinking that they were looking for another receiver,
but like Diggs has shown up to be that number
one receiver.

Speaker 2 (01:42:16):
He had ten catches for six yards. Yeah, they're on
that pink dust. Look whatever it takes, salt the Himalayan,
Himalayan pink. I'm I'm not ready to say that division
is up for battle now based off that it doesn't know.
It feels like New England is just as like whoever

(01:42:36):
they play next week, it feels like that.

Speaker 3 (01:42:37):
I was like, that was a trap game. But Drake
May did play good if he keeps it up, and
Digs looked like he had a personal vendetta, you know,
oh very much so. So it's like, can he keep
that same energy, in that same you know, juice and
put it in the next game, in the next game

(01:42:58):
and make it a constant.

Speaker 2 (01:42:59):
Yeah, that's where that consistency. Uh, you know, I think
the Bills will. I think it's more likely. I think
it's more I think it's more likely the Bills respond
uh next week to the loss than it is that
the Patriots build off of the win, if that makes sense. Yeah,
Elsewhere in the Contenders. God help the Bills play next week.

(01:43:21):
That's very Yeah, they're gonna well let's just see because
I'm serious. No, the Thursday night game is NFC East
this week. It's Thursday Night is Eagles at Giants. The
Bills will be traveling to hot Atlanta. Oh, it's it's

(01:43:43):
part of the it's a Monday night double Headerah.

Speaker 3 (01:43:47):
That's okay, prime time. Yeah, just gonna put it off then, Man,
you're ready for that. That white boy is gonna run
for about eighty and get about four tuddies to two
and two.

Speaker 2 (01:43:59):
Yeah, they three and two one falcons coming off by themselves.
I think they are probably fully aware of what's waiting
for them is going to be one in his mustard.
Other only other contenders game I had was the UH

(01:44:19):
game last night, Jags and Chiefs. Again, if you call
it a foundational game for the Pats, is that a
foundational game for Trevor Lawrence and Liam Cohen the new
head coach.

Speaker 3 (01:44:33):
I told you they are for real. But we also
saw that was a pick play in the end zone.

Speaker 2 (01:44:42):
It wasn't. There was too obvious the ball was on
the two yard line. It was obvious. P I the
ball was on the two yard line. The receiver was
not in the end zone.

Speaker 6 (01:44:53):
Once again, therefore, on he's a yard, he's within a
yard of the line of scrim he made contact with him,
you're allowed if you're within a yard of the line
of scrimmat.

Speaker 3 (01:45:05):
The contact has to be within the yard.

Speaker 2 (01:45:06):
It was no if his body is like the yards
from the line of player was in the end zone, right,
because the defensive player is covering and running behind the
player was on the one yard line. It's not where
the contact is, it's where the player is.

Speaker 3 (01:45:20):
He was gonna be slurping up the Chiefs like it's
you know, the studio fifty four.

Speaker 2 (01:45:26):
No, because it's one of one of the big kind
of like the momental argument. One of the biggest things
that aggravates the hell out of me and sports fandom
is when people hear narratives and just run with them
without evidence.

Speaker 3 (01:45:41):
When you have the evidence. All last year was evidence.

Speaker 2 (01:45:44):
Hold on no all again. This two huge plays we
went through this. They were one of the bottom ten
teams when it came to penalties called against them or
four in their favor on me because they sit there
and get away with some of them. So the one
keep doing the one at the goal line. I don't
think I honestly don't think that was a close one.

(01:46:05):
The other one absolutely is a penalty that should have.

Speaker 3 (01:46:09):
Been I think, I think I text you like three
times and like obvious I texted you.

Speaker 2 (01:46:15):
Were right because then you were texting me once where
it was like clearly that was a hold on the
the right guard. He had him wrapped up. It was like, okay,
like that's what happens everything. I didn't that was a
p all p I. The p I one where the
Chiefs end up intercepting the ball uh deep in you know,
within the call. The shortstop gets that play within the

(01:46:37):
end up getting the ball in the red zone. That
should have been past interference, no question without like there's
no argument there.

Speaker 3 (01:46:45):
That was a and then and then on the pick play,
I know not that like when Jacksonville Trevor Lawrence had
the pick, they railroaded the receiver like literally took him
out before he the interception.

Speaker 2 (01:47:00):
No, that's the one I'm talking about that one.

Speaker 3 (01:47:03):
But then also absolutely but also the long pass one
to the end zone where he literally hugs the guy
and takes him.

Speaker 2 (01:47:11):
Down again, Like if if you're looking at Do you
not think that call is missed multiple times out every
game in the NFL, Because I think that I think
if you I think it is, I think it is.
But I think it's because the chiefs, uh, the they.

Speaker 3 (01:47:27):
Have won, Patrick Mahomes and Travis.

Speaker 2 (01:47:31):
And guess what people guess what people actually don't like
to watch. They don't like to watch greatness they wanted
like when Brady when there would be a slightly questionable
call that would go to the Patriots way back. Oh,
the league's just trying to get Brady into the super
But that wasn't actually happening at all. Like I think
that's where you live.

Speaker 3 (01:47:50):
League wasn't wasn't sitting there and just you know, letting
the Patriots do what they want, like with deflated balls
and the videotaping, the videotaping pices and League is gonna
sit there and tell the reps to ease it up
on the patrio.

Speaker 2 (01:48:04):
Okay, what happened? What's what happened in that situation when
they got busted for filming practices? What happened? They got fined,
they got penalized. What do you want? Like, what do
you say they should have gotten the franchise should have folded,
like what level of repercussion are you looking for? You got?
You got.

Speaker 3 (01:48:22):
Sean Payton got a suspended for a.

Speaker 2 (01:48:24):
Year for trying to bounce, for trying to for literally.

Speaker 3 (01:48:29):
Damn near like gambling. This is like insider trading.

Speaker 2 (01:48:32):
But it's not physically assault like hoping you physically injure
an assault an opponent that spend it for a year video.
I don't disagree. I would would have absolutely gone along,
but nothing happened. I'm not saying to replay that half
a million dollar fine? Was it not? And they had
Robert Kraft? Would they had offs and practices taken away?

Speaker 3 (01:48:54):
I think Jerry carries about the quarter million dollars for
giving the fan the finger.

Speaker 2 (01:48:58):
Yes, because I think Jerry spends the least cash of
any NFL owner. And actually we create this idea that
Jerry doesn't give f about money. That's all Jerry cares about.
I think he's appealing it. I think he absolutely cares
about that because.

Speaker 3 (01:49:12):
It is about the crew.

Speaker 2 (01:49:13):
If it was a twenty five dollars fine, it would
piss him off as much as it's a two hundred
and fifty thousand dollars fine.

Speaker 3 (01:49:18):
Because Jerry is a cheap pet. He just doesn't want
to Yeah, like he doesn't want to look bad. He
cares more about appearance than he does about the money.
Like trust me, he wanted Micah had so much.

Speaker 2 (01:49:33):
Like Juice and like that.

Speaker 3 (01:49:35):
He was the narrative. He was the narrative, not Jerry,
and that's what pissed Jerry off.

Speaker 2 (01:49:40):
So let's go back the Spygate two thousand and seven. Yeah,
the Patriots were fined two hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
Bill Belichick was individually fined five hundred thousand dollars, and
the team lost a first round draft pick. The most
valuable team building.

Speaker 3 (01:50:00):
You have in the entire is the biggest game of
the year, and it lost its integrity. It should have
been more.

Speaker 2 (01:50:08):
It wasn't even it wasn't the super Bowl. It was
a playoff. It was like a first round playoff game.
Was the super Bowl against the Rams? It was the Jets. No, no, no,
they were recording the New York Jets practice. They they
recorded that.

Speaker 3 (01:50:21):
Was when they got also got the Rams.

Speaker 2 (01:50:23):
That was when they got busted though, was the they knew.

Speaker 3 (01:50:25):
The whole Rams first like series They literally call like
if you take a look at it again, read it again.
They videotaped the rams as well, they did they the
fact that they did it to multiple games.

Speaker 2 (01:50:39):
No, I think that's always been the conspiracy, is that
if they did it to one team, they did it
to all of them. But they're Look, I don't disagree
that a conspiracy or is that a like show me,
show me the show me. They got busted and penalized
for doing it to one team, Like again, this.

Speaker 3 (01:50:56):
Is like I got busted afterwards after they found out
Goodell erase the tapes and somebody did on solid there,
so like, don't tell me, like, it's not so far
fetched that they kept doing it.

Speaker 2 (01:51:09):
I think it's. I think it's it's not far fetched,
But I don't think that affected the outcome of getting.

Speaker 3 (01:51:16):
I mean, look at the Saints they did it to,
you know, well was it? They took out Kurt Warner,
Oh they should just stop right there. No, then they
took out Brett Favre. Oh no, that's enough, don't do
it anymore. Nope, we're going to go shoot for Frank
Gore's head, you know, because he's concussion prone.

Speaker 2 (01:51:33):
Like, can't see that to me, happening that until you
get caught so much worse than recording a team's practice.
But that's that is so muchall locker room. Yes, yeah,
you go, we know who's injured, we know like and
we're like, yo, man, take this. That guy's right leg
is he was off last week with bad right legs. So,
but there's a different low. There's a difference between players

(01:51:56):
talking about that and the team actually providing financial bonus,
which also breaks the salary cap. Again, you want to
talk about competitive balance in the league, that's circumventing the
salary cap.

Speaker 3 (01:52:08):
Getting way off topic, continue this debate because the biggest
thing is Jags because next week when I see the
Chiefs get all the guy dang calls, I'm gonna text
you again, please please do because it's going to be egregious.

Speaker 2 (01:52:23):
Sure and I guarantee you they're momentum changes. Eagle fans
think the Cowboys get all the calls. Steelers fans, dude,
when it's when it's in the Bengals get all the
calls with.

Speaker 3 (01:52:38):
It's in your face. It was in our face, blatant.
Last year, I think you could say what they were
a horrible team and they went seven to zero.

Speaker 2 (01:52:48):
And you think that was solely because the league was
manipulating the officials to make the Chiefs win games? Really?
Really the playoff colin Indiana Jones, The Colts are for real? Yeah,
forty to six over the Raiders, uh surprisingly to top

(01:53:11):
ten odds now to win the Super Bowl? The Indianapolis Colts,
who had that? Yeah, I'll give you that. I think
we're you put forty on the board against another NFL team. Yeah,
you gotta get some credit for that. But did you
see Baker Mayfield getting into the argument with the Seahawks fan?

Speaker 3 (01:53:31):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:53:31):
Yeah, called him an F and P. You're gonna be
real and quiet by halftime yelling at the Seahawks.

Speaker 3 (01:53:39):
Guy, Well, I started justin fields of a Baker.

Speaker 2 (01:53:41):
That was a mistake. Yeah, Baker's Baker's probably probably MVP
of the league right now. I think if you're if
you're putting someone up against him, I would like to
see your argument. Yeah, I think what Baker's doing.

Speaker 3 (01:54:00):
The Indiana Jones, Yeah, calm Danny Dynas on one.

Speaker 2 (01:54:02):
Well, and I mean even Donald in the loss, you
put thirty five points on the board. Donald had been
the second he went for four touchdowns as well, something.

Speaker 3 (01:54:13):
Yards the reemergence of the journyman done left Geno Smith
because he was hot garbage.

Speaker 2 (01:54:18):
Yeah, Gino has been a disappointment in the Raiders uniform
after actually being solid for the Seahawks. It appears the
Seahawks actually made the right decision moving on and trading
for Donald. I don't think I think the Bucks are
legit potential win the NFC good. I think the Seahawks

(01:54:40):
are probably going to start falling back more into this
fringe category. Yeah, but again, you lose eight to thirty
five to a team that might be the best team
in the NFC right now.

Speaker 3 (01:54:53):
Still got an easy schedule and I think the Niners
have to play Indy two. So yeah, but like they
still got an easy schedule. See them creeping into the wildcard.

Speaker 2 (01:55:01):
Elsewhere in the playoff Calum Commander, the Chargers are in
a tail spin now. Chargers lost to the Giants last week.

Speaker 3 (01:55:08):
Their defense in Herbert he was he I would have
put him in the MVP category, but his last two
games have been looking little not good by Lad mcconkeye
a little bit involved in the game Quinn Johnson and
gave up a fumble.

Speaker 2 (01:55:21):
Yeah, it's it's both sides here because the offense has
got to score more than ten points, but the defense
also gave up twenty seven unanswered. Yeah, so, uh, you know, Commanders,
I think I think I feel about the same way
about the Chargers and the AFC as I do the Commanders.
In the NFC, you've got Jayden Daniels, you've got hurt

(01:55:42):
Justin Herbert. You've got a chance if you can just
get into the playoffs. But I think let's see if
they rebound, because well that's what I said about the Giant.
I mean, I think, yeah, we both had the Chargers
and start go out in that game, he's on the
questionable oh in the in their game against the Saints, Yeah,

(01:56:04):
I don't know. They're in the ass category. So I
didn't know prep whatsoever for those games fringe category. Vikings
beat the Browns. They come back to win in uh
or was it England in Tottenham Stadium? They win in
on a last second drive twenty one seventeen over the Browns.

Speaker 3 (01:56:21):
They got a quarterback conflict.

Speaker 2 (01:56:22):
Dylan Gabriel made his start to.

Speaker 3 (01:56:25):
Keep WinCE or do we go? JJ Winz is looking
a lot better.

Speaker 2 (01:56:31):
Yeah, I think if if he hadn't made the game
winning drive at the end, but.

Speaker 3 (01:56:39):
He also was running. He was also doing it with
his legs.

Speaker 2 (01:56:42):
And if you're investing a first round pick in JJ.
But the only reason I might not go back to
JJ immediately is if you think in practice JJ McCarthy's
not ready because based off what we've seen so far
this season, it hasn't been good. But if he's still
I would still mean more off practice reps who's looking better,

(01:57:02):
because I don't. I don't. I'm not ready to give
up on a first round kid for the Carson win,
the reclamation project.

Speaker 3 (01:57:09):
But the Vikings are like, I feel like they're in
a win now, uh, very much so. So I think
they're gonna ride the hot hand.

Speaker 2 (01:57:18):
That's where I think the especially considering you know, you
can give McCarthy more time to come back from injury.
They're coming up on their bye week.

Speaker 3 (01:57:27):
I mean, because he didn't he had all last year
with no chemistry, Like he didn't build the chemistry with uh,
you know, Addison and Jefferson. He only had the preseason
and then got hurt immediately, and now this year he
was out of two games. He only has one touchdown
and one interception. Jefferson was almost a non factor, and

(01:57:48):
now we got he hasn't got a chance to play
with Addison since he came back from the three games.

Speaker 2 (01:57:52):
And Addison ended up getting a suspension or was bench
to start the game because he was out filming an
Instagram video with a British rapper and then he ends
up making the game winning catch at the end. So
funny how football plays out. Uh. Lastly, in the fringe category,
Texans absolutely demolished the Cooper Rush led Baltimore Ravens.

Speaker 3 (01:58:14):
Are we stroud gusey? I mean, the kids got it,
We've seen it, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:58:19):
Well and outside of the Colts, who you know, if
you're a Texans fan, I think you're you're respectful of
what the Colts have done, but you probably still feel
like you're the better overall team. Yeah, I think Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:58:35):
I think the Colts win the division obviously, because you
can't go oh and four and think you're gonna pull
it out unless there's an utter collapse. And I don't
see an utter collapse in Indy.

Speaker 2 (01:58:46):
Well, Texans, Texans are back to two and three now
and three? Right? They avoided that oh and four? Uh,
start with the win. Who was at the you know,
they smashed the Titans twenty six nothing. Baltimore is the one.
I think that's the one where I was like, I
think we might be done here. I think we might.

(01:59:07):
Let's rest, let's rest lamar, let's not overwork Derrick Henry
hoping that he has one more year to come back
on two year contract. Yeah, they gave him that two
year extension. And then as far as the buy teams,
Packers had to buy from the contender category, Steelers had
to buy from the playoffs. Falcons and Bears have slid

(01:59:30):
into the fringe category. They were both on buy and
then your ass games. Saints beat the Giants twenty six
to fourteen, Panthers beat the Dolphins on a comeback twenty
seven to twenty four, and then the Titans come back
beat the Cards twenty two to twenty one. After the
de Mercado fumble at back to back weeks, back to

(01:59:51):
back weeks that someone has fumbled that of this not
somehow continue news to happen across the league. You want
to we got any other super chats to get to before.

Speaker 3 (02:00:06):
We get Yeah, well, Royce and'lnie appreciate the couple books.

Speaker 2 (02:00:09):
Thank you fellas.

Speaker 3 (02:00:10):
Yep, but that's about the super chats today.

Speaker 2 (02:00:14):
Well, then let's get into some lightning rounds. Shall we
close it out with a little lightning round? I told
you now that the Yankees are winning. I thought I
was going to have to have audio to potentially cheer
you up, and so I saw this clip floating around.
This is a name that you've had some difficulty pronouncing

(02:00:37):
at times. As he's having a breakout season so far
for Tampa Bay. Rob Gronkowski is in the same boat
as you are when it comes to trying to pronounce
mister Egbuka in Tampa Bay. And he absolutely I think

(02:00:59):
you did better than he did.

Speaker 7 (02:01:01):
Oh buddy Baker Mayfield also did it without his number
one wide receiver Mike Evans, And you've got to give
credit to this rookie sensation wide receiver out of Ohio State,
Amika big Boo going for over one hundred Amka, I'm
getting confused, going lights out once again.

Speaker 2 (02:01:22):
I love how he tried to drop the line. I'm
getting confused, like, no, you just didn't, just you just
absolutely You're playing for over one hundred guys, play your part.
Give it to me.

Speaker 7 (02:01:34):
Time going for over, Amika big Boo going for so again.

Speaker 2 (02:01:40):
I think you've had better success rate trying to pronounce
mister and again Gronk. Remember if you don't know, just
say it fast. That will always save you. Hit me
l G.

Speaker 3 (02:01:53):
All right, we have there's some show that I'm gonna
have to start watching and tell me if you've seen it.
I wish I could have pulled the clip. I don't
know if we're allowed to or whatnot, but baling out loud.

Speaker 2 (02:02:07):
Oh no, not this again? Okay, I have she has
started her tics. Yes, as we're watching this girl with Tourette's,
but now it has transformed to where she keeps Nutshot
has it? Though? Has it? It could be fake, but
just seems something it whacked. That's my time of show.
Bro Okay, So all during football season last year they

(02:02:33):
were running promos for this show, and.

Speaker 3 (02:02:37):
I'm a child. Nutshots are hilarious.

Speaker 2 (02:02:39):
Always funny. I I understand.

Speaker 3 (02:02:43):
I don't think I watch any TLC.

Speaker 2 (02:02:44):
Ever, No, and this is like the same way as
Hoarders or uh you know, My nine hundred Pound Sister
or whatever those shows are called. Like they it's all
under this guy's we're raising awareness for Touretts. We're raising
awareness for a.

Speaker 3 (02:03:04):
Right.

Speaker 2 (02:03:05):
You're putting me in the position where I'm watching a
promo of a girl with touretts and I'm laughing. That's
not right. That's not good, and it's not my fault.
Damn it. Hey, you're putting this crack.

Speaker 3 (02:03:15):
When you kick someone in the nuts or you hit
him in the nuts and he's not looking and he's
doubled over, I'm gonna treat you like everybody else. See,
I'm gonna find that hilarious.

Speaker 2 (02:03:24):
That's equality.

Speaker 3 (02:03:24):
That's me doing my part to make you feel welcomed
with me because you're running with the crew. If you
keep on hitting the crew with the nuts, dude, I'm
cracking up.

Speaker 2 (02:03:34):
I'm glad you. I'm glad you've caught up on.

Speaker 3 (02:03:36):
The I never like, I didn't know who it was.

Speaker 2 (02:03:39):
I just saw the thing.

Speaker 3 (02:03:39):
I was like, and then she was like, She's like,
it's the nuts.

Speaker 2 (02:03:42):
She's like, I'm sorry, see look maybe I don't know.
It's just it's just really interesting to me that season one.

Speaker 3 (02:03:51):
I didn't know there was a season, and it was
like season two coming out now, I was like, there's
another season of this.

Speaker 2 (02:03:56):
It just feels like they might have needed a way
to kind of up the content.

Speaker 3 (02:04:00):
She does seem very sorry, so like she's she a
good actor? Which are you a good actor with Tourette's?

Speaker 2 (02:04:07):
Again, again, these are questions I shouldn't have to be
considering during NFL football on Sundays, hit me LG. So.
I also saw in the super chats there Royce mentioned
let's go Stars. Indeed hockey.

Speaker 3 (02:04:25):
Hockey hockey on today.

Speaker 2 (02:04:27):
So apparently if you, apparently, if you are back to
back Stanley Cup champion, you have to start your season
at four o'clock Central time. That because they're raising the
banner at five o'clock on a Tuesday.

Speaker 3 (02:04:42):
Yeah, it's like no one's doing anything at three pm.

Speaker 2 (02:04:46):
ESPN's running a triple header tonight for NHL Opening Night.
Stars don't open till Thursday, and unfortunately their first two
games are on the road. H tell me if these
teams sound familiar. Thursday at Winnipeg at the Jets, and
then believe Monday is the Jets, which was the Jets.

(02:05:11):
They're just the Jets.

Speaker 3 (02:05:12):
Oh I thought it was Winnipeg versus the Jets.

Speaker 2 (02:05:14):
Oh no, no, no, Winnipeg Jets. And then then they
traveled to Colorado, So the two teams that they eliminated
in the playoffs last year they start on the road
against and then we get our home opener next Tuesday.
So that means that that Avalanche games probably Saturday or Sunday,
but Stars will get the home opener this about will

(02:05:37):
probably be finishing the game about this time next week
against the Wild. Yeah, I am super hyped for hockey
to be that.

Speaker 3 (02:05:45):
I think hockey is going to what was it baseball
postseason had a sixty four increase in viewership. That's pretty good,
and I think hockey's about to have a thirty forty
boost because last year's playoffs where outstanding.

Speaker 2 (02:06:01):
Yeah, hockey feels like it's always going to be capped,
you know at a at a a certain there's a
certain regional cap that outside of you know, southern states
like you know, Dallas, the Stars or Florida, But like,
what's the hockey viewership in Georgia, what's the hockey viewership.

Speaker 3 (02:06:24):
And what's the hockey viewers and anyone that doesn't have
a team.

Speaker 2 (02:06:28):
Well that's where I'm saying where you're still like like
Wisconsin doesn't have an NHL team, but they watch a
s ton of hockey still huge. Like that's where I
say it's like regionally locked. So like even parts where
you know everyone and everyone grows up playing hockey. You
might not have a professional team in your market, but

(02:06:48):
you're going to watch whatever the triple header is or
or you know whatever TNT has. But yeah, good to
have hockey back in our life. Now we're fifteen days
till we gets basketball, and then all will be right
in this world. Hockey and basketball and back and football
and of course back we get we get the three
and potentially still have a playoff baseball as well.

Speaker 3 (02:07:13):
Indeed, hit me LG all right, we got the Fantasy
Sports Cave Live Fantasy Football matchup recap eight off all
of bush still cleans all the cream off, okay, and

(02:07:33):
beats and beats the captain with the Mahomes illegal pick
play turned into a Harrison Buckner.

Speaker 2 (02:07:41):
Yes I am. We are both two and three.

Speaker 3 (02:07:49):
So oh man, just backed down. You were both two
and three. Uh you got me eight off. You got
me in the draft, and you got me on the.

Speaker 2 (02:07:58):
You got got g We need that, you got me
eight all yeah, you got that all right?

Speaker 3 (02:08:05):
The wild card himself Lonnie for may Z Man. He
just keeps winning. Man, he's got a team one six
to one twenty one against King Henry from the Hamptons.
Man that Lonnie, you scared me man, you know, I
think me and you need to make a trade and
get back that love. When you got that championship. It's
been the other league. AI Overlords won sixty eight versus

(02:08:28):
one forty seven under Puma's posse. Solid scoring, but the
Overlords took over.

Speaker 2 (02:08:34):
I feel like that had to be the highest scoring game.

Speaker 3 (02:08:37):
Yeah, so far it seems like that toy scoring between
both of all. That's just like, I mean, you were
projected one hundred and four points or he was projected
one hundred and four. Puma's posse was projected ninety nine.
I mean I was projected one thirteen. You know, I'm
just saying. But anyway, we got Eli Zuber's.

Speaker 2 (02:08:55):
Okay, time out. I just realized AI Overlords has the
picture of Elon must smoking a joint on Rogan with
laser beams coming. Well done, AI over Lord, well done.

Speaker 3 (02:09:07):
I love the creativity. I love the creativity. All right,
then we got Eli Zuber, who cannot buy a win.
Just barely, just barely losing to Tulsa State beir one
ten to one eight.

Speaker 2 (02:09:20):
Man that we it's tight.

Speaker 3 (02:09:22):
I mean we got some front runners like Lani's undefeated
pumas Pozzi's four and one, but we also got the
brikhersas Ferguson wins again one thirty four over one o
nine against Papaya's FC, and team Momentumers lost all that
momentum to James Gang got beat down sixty six to.

Speaker 2 (02:09:41):
One oh seven, almost like it never existed, exists.

Speaker 3 (02:09:47):
Because my moment to mintum is rush right now, because
the cream is right to the top. The cream is curdling,
and I am on a three game losing streak. Cede Lamb,
come back and help you, boy.

Speaker 2 (02:10:01):
I don't ask a lot of you cowgirls, but I
need you. You're oh you trash? You know you are? Hey? Hey?
I actually no, it's Texas O you oh you week.
I'm with you, Yeah, hit me LG. A couple of
local news stories. After nineteen years in business at a

(02:10:22):
couple different locations, unfortunately, we have have to report another
established countercultural business down in my neck of the woods,
Webhouse closing down.

Speaker 3 (02:10:35):
I had un there's gonna be like that's their that's
their plan down there, man, kind of cheering up all
the traffics. Some hedge funds are picking up properly, oh
big time.

Speaker 2 (02:10:45):
They want to pearl everything down there. And Webhouse had
been on the strip, but then they had moved to
Beacon Hill. And then unfortunately, back in January, the owner
and founder had had passed away at like fifty years
old early and they decided now it had been temporarily

(02:11:06):
closed for a while, but officially got the news that
web House will be no moss and then uh and less.
Unfortunately I didn't even to laugh them. Now I got it.

Speaker 3 (02:11:20):
James got me on the chat cee. He's just in
his cocoon right now.

Speaker 2 (02:11:24):
Yes, as I as I just said, the owner, the
original owner passed away. But I guess that is funny, uh.
Or maybe it was a fact that a loon. Maybe
it was the fact that a local business shut down.
I guess that. I guess you find that it was
as well. Dude, he's gonna twist the knife again, man naturally,

(02:11:45):
because now that I realized, you're just pissed because you
lost fantasy and you're not. Actually, no, I lost fans.
I didn't lose fantasy.

Speaker 3 (02:11:52):
Till the very end. But that would have mean everything.
That'd have been six points off, that would have been
four points off. Buckner would have got a field goal.

Speaker 2 (02:11:59):
I would have won. Yes, I get a little passionate
about ifs and butts and something and nuts. I don't know.
That's exactly a thousand subjects and less and and actually
something news you can laugh about. Less serious. Closing news.

(02:12:21):
San Antonio Bramas have decided to close up shop, or
at least the UFL decided that they are moving the
Bramas out of San Antonio?

Speaker 5 (02:12:33):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (02:12:34):
Buddy?

Speaker 3 (02:12:34):
My buddy actually had season tickets club season ticket.

Speaker 2 (02:12:39):
I'm sure the UFL will be super cool about refunding
any money that you might have put down as and
they probably don't need every penny they can get out
of everybody. Uh yeah, Look, I'm mixed feelings, like I
know that can't be the last lightning round. You're missing
something here, buddy, No, we still got time. That's just
local news, local news. Are you serious? But are you

(02:13:02):
losing the Bramas?

Speaker 3 (02:13:05):
I like losing any sports thing in San Antonio because
so we don't have we only have one major. I'd
be mad if San Antonio f C went, I'd be I.

Speaker 2 (02:13:15):
Would, okay, I would be way more upset than the Bramos.

Speaker 3 (02:13:20):
I don't want to like if it blows up. I
think the whole league in itself is going to like
go down. But like the fact that we lose anything
makes me upset, even local businesses.

Speaker 2 (02:13:31):
I hear that. But I also the value of the Bramas.
You know, first of all, the Dome is getting a
lot more shows and bigger shows now, so the Bramas
are taking up potential space there. We have a football team,
it's utsa full support behind them before you support any

(02:13:51):
semi pro team. I do believe if the UFL allowed
and I could see this. It sounds like a pipe,
but I could see it working out in some way
in the future where maybe teams NFL teams can send
their players down to the UF or have them play

(02:14:14):
like the way MLB players play. Winter Caribbean.

Speaker 3 (02:14:20):
Europe has like a developmental league.

Speaker 2 (02:14:22):
Yeah, well not anymore. They did for a while. That's
where Troy now, that's where Troy learned to be a broadcaster.
If if the Cowboys could send Joe Milton down to
the San Antonio Bramas after the NFL season's over. Like Joe,
you didn't play any games, you took five snaps all season.
We're not really exactly worried about your.

Speaker 3 (02:14:46):
Soccer over in England.

Speaker 2 (02:14:47):
I just think it would be or like minor. Well,
I don't that's never gonna happen with the NFL. But
I do think like baseball where you have you could
send guys down for a a couple of games in
the fall or in the spring league instead of you know,
because like guys like Joe Milton or you know, backup
quarterbacks across the league, Tyler Huntley, it would be like.

Speaker 3 (02:15:10):
The same rules, no running while you're like, yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:15:14):
Again, I don't think it would ever happen. I could
see it happen. It's not as crazy as I first
once thought it was. But the league, there's nothing I'm
not investing in seeing. You know. At best, you might
see a Brandon Aubrey, yeah, kicking in the UFL before
they go to the NFL, like they're still.

Speaker 3 (02:15:34):
Kurt Warner was, and.

Speaker 2 (02:15:36):
He's the exception. He was sacking groceries while playing Arena
Football League and got cut by the Arena. Yeah, there
are absolutely always exceptions. But I don't know the Brahmas one.
Doesn't you know, I went to mack Arthur. Doesn't set
me off the mascot that much. Hit me lg.

Speaker 3 (02:16:00):
One story does not seem like it's getting the press
that it deserves.

Speaker 2 (02:16:06):
The Tyrone Lacy story where the cops were trying to
convince people to potentially lie under oath to frame Lacey
as the cause of the crash.

Speaker 3 (02:16:19):
We been getting to social justice later, okay, but we're
getting into one mister butt fumble.

Speaker 2 (02:16:24):
Ah, yes, Mark, what a wild ass story.

Speaker 3 (02:16:27):
So this Frank the tank came out gott like. I
guess there's a couple of stories that come out like
one it was like a sixty nine year old truck
driver or like did.

Speaker 2 (02:16:40):
You see the pictures of what he what kind of
shape he's in?

Speaker 3 (02:16:43):
Mark Sanchez, No.

Speaker 2 (02:16:45):
The sixty nine year old truck driver did think it is?

Speaker 3 (02:16:48):
Yeah, he got worked. I mean he got a fellow.

Speaker 2 (02:16:50):
I mean it's a forty year old former NFL player
against a sixty nine years.

Speaker 3 (02:16:55):
Thirty six or thirty eight.

Speaker 2 (02:16:58):
Sanchez is only thirty. I think he's thirty eight years old.
And yeah, and then the driver turns thirty nine next month.

Speaker 3 (02:17:06):
Stabbed his stabbed his drunk ass and he walks back
in and immediately goes to jail after getting fixed up.
He was actually intensive care for a little bit, like
he lost a ton of blood because that alcohol things
of blood.

Speaker 2 (02:17:23):
Yeah, there was the video that was released of him
stumbling around after the altercation where you see the blood
soaked shirt and you can tell.

Speaker 3 (02:17:31):
He has he has a good pain analyst job.

Speaker 2 (02:17:34):
Okay, that's my quest starting with that. So this was
at twelve thirty. This is at twelve thirty Saturday night,
and he's that smashed. Does that mean he's doing the
game just straight hungover every week? Is this a regular
you know what I'm saying?

Speaker 3 (02:17:49):
I mean, do you do the show hungover?

Speaker 2 (02:17:51):
I look at me time. Well, sometimes I'm not saying
every day. There are rare exceptions, but uh, I've been
I've been rough, you know. But we're doing like that's
a Fox broadcasting position as a big boy job. Now,
like you're out at twelve thirty getting a hotel bar.

Speaker 3 (02:18:17):
Oh man, I think I think if they, like I
like to see, they might have to do a toxicology
report on them because to get that wasted, I mean
a you have handlers I don't see how someone from
Fox doesn't see you, Like even if like one of
my friends that I see is getting wasted working behind
the bar, I'm gonna be like, look, ye is there

(02:18:38):
not a code. I was like, this isn't a good look.
You got to stop and blah blah blah. And I'm like,
you don't think there's people that work at Fox that
are at the same bar, you know, that was what
I thought, And like, how they not control him? I
think he took a pill. Well, okay, that's let the
record show.

Speaker 2 (02:18:55):
One individual on this UH is throwing out random them
reckless allegations of.

Speaker 3 (02:19:02):
I've just worked in a Mars seen someone go from hey,
that guy looks kind of sober to completely incoherent smash.
It's always a xanax or a vikinger.

Speaker 2 (02:19:13):
Or six shots in about six minutes.

Speaker 3 (02:19:16):
But that's on the bartender. Like the bartender would.

Speaker 2 (02:19:18):
Like this, Mark Sanchez, Yeah, everything you want.

Speaker 3 (02:19:22):
First off, you don't think that's not being investigated.

Speaker 2 (02:19:24):
Oh, one thousand percent is a thousand.

Speaker 3 (02:19:27):
I highly doubt any that hotel, like especially a nice
hotel where they put all these people at sure those
those bartending jobs are coveted. You see, nobody's losing, No
one's gonna go risk it. It serves some six shots
back to back to back to back to back trying
to get a good.

Speaker 2 (02:19:43):
Tick, especially not for Mark Sanchez in Indianapolis.

Speaker 3 (02:19:46):
You don't think the like the hotel manager doesn't say, hey,
we have Fox in the house tonight. You're gonna see
some people out here. Make sure you don't overserve them.
You know what I'm saying?

Speaker 2 (02:19:57):
Oh, I think absolutely yeah, you're uh drug test that man?
Okay again one side of the table is asking for that.
Did you see that? Dan Dockitch had to reply a
response about it so bad that Jason Whitlock had to
tell him like, dude, that's a little racist like that. Oh,
you got to slow down on that.

Speaker 3 (02:20:18):
What was it in the group trap? I was like,
Mexicans do be stabbing?

Speaker 2 (02:20:21):
Well again, am I only one of my Mexican friends
on there? He's like, that's Puerto Ricans, buddy, Yeah, clear
clear differentiator there. No, Dan Dockitch was as soon as
the news got out, because that's the other turn of
the you know, of where we're at as a society.
The story at first was Mark Sanchez has been stabbed

(02:20:43):
in downtown Indianapolis. So everyone's like, oh, Marks, such a
great guy. Poor Mark sending an elderly man. Well at
that point when we just knew the first part, then
Dan Dockitch went off with again statistics kind of like
you like stereotype, but six C. Two he's like, Indianapolis
has seventy five percent fatherless black children and living in

(02:21:06):
downtown urban centers. What did you expect? And it's like,
whoa buddy, like slow down, yeah right, oh, the crime
rate in Indianapolis is out. He went down, He went down.
The National Guard went down that road. Uh. And as
the story unfolded, where we learned more like no, Mark
Santez just argued with a sixty nine year old man

(02:21:29):
about a parking space and then tried to attack him.

Speaker 3 (02:21:32):
Like he's like like he's a that he's like the
ballet or something beyond, like he's in control of where
this guy.

Speaker 2 (02:21:39):
And also he pulled out, he pulled a caring did
you hear what he was like? What he was picking up?
What the driver, the sixty nine year old guy was
getting leftover oil oil like restaurant friol stuff like that.
So like, dude, this is sixty nine year old man
at midnight thirty in downtown Indianapolis, just the most blue

(02:22:01):
collar work you could possibly.

Speaker 3 (02:22:03):
Be doing, and you got a drunk butt fumbler exactly,
you know, telling you not to park here, and.

Speaker 2 (02:22:08):
You're like, you get at it, you gotta go.

Speaker 5 (02:22:10):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (02:22:11):
Doca fires that off, and then as we get more
facts about the case just doubles, triples, quads down to
the point where eventually Whitlock tells him like, it's okay
to admit you're wrong sometimes.

Speaker 3 (02:22:24):
Yeah, exactly, I think you don't have to be right
all the time and be like I didn't mean it
like that. I'd have been like eight my bad.

Speaker 2 (02:22:31):
Yeah, Like I look, the numbers are what they are.
I just assumed based off numbers, the odds were in
my favor. They weren't. My bad. I messed up. Uh.
But you know when Whitlock is telling another conservative that, A,
I think you messed up here. Yeah, probably you've probably
crossed the line. Yeah we'll end it with that. Save that,

(02:22:52):
Save that clip for Thursday, LG. Since we are back
in the room come Thursday, the uh Mark Sanchez face
singing felonies.

Speaker 3 (02:23:01):
For He's gonna get probation and he's gonna go to Oh.

Speaker 2 (02:23:06):
I don't yeah, I mean, well, I don't know. Depending
the bigger payout will be, I don't it won't be
time spent behind bars, a financial.

Speaker 3 (02:23:16):
Jail house lawyer. He's gonna go to civil court. He's
gonna do about five year probation. He might do three
months to for house arrest. But he's gonna go to rehab.
He's gonna do the whole sorrow story.

Speaker 2 (02:23:28):
He'll be all right. I don't think he'll be putting
on this head his job. Yeah, I don't think he'll
be putting on that headset again. The cap tell the
good people how to get a hold of you, where
to find you?

Speaker 3 (02:23:37):
The Captain's chair two well o on both Instagram and Twitter.

Speaker 2 (02:23:41):
I love the consistency. Find me on x at, Biggest
Puma Instagram, Biggest Dot Puma LG. When's the next stream Saturday? Saturday?
When's the next workday?

Speaker 4 (02:23:54):
Friday against the Yes?

Speaker 2 (02:23:55):
Okay, so we are good for Thursday?

Speaker 3 (02:24:00):
Yas, Yes, we're good for Thursday.

Speaker 2 (02:24:01):
I should have asked before I promoted back Thursday night
during Eagles Giants. Maybe we'll have baseball to distract us if.

Speaker 3 (02:24:08):
The Yankees because it would be a it would be
a it'd.

Speaker 2 (02:24:12):
Be We'll still go Yankees for one more inning.

Speaker 3 (02:24:14):
At least you don't have to see me have a the.

Speaker 2 (02:24:16):
Only time I'm gonna say that. You'll be good at peace.
See you Thursday. Kids. What do we say about drugs, Yeah,
