It's like a nice little bit of briskness in the air.
You can tell that the the dead heat of summers
is making its way out of here.

It's yeah, it's amazing. I mean, my power bill is
still nine thousand dollars, but that's another story for another time.
But yes, I think with the with the launch of
Halloween Horonites, we are seeing better weather.

Well, I went to Universal Studios, Orlando on Sunday. I
know it was Labor Day weekend because I had to
go to Guest Services to renew my past and that
was a lengthy process, but it finally got done.
Speaker 4 (06:54):
Guess, sir, you had to go all the way down
there renew your past.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
Well, I was making a change when I was, I
was not renewing at the same level pass. I am
no a Premiere passholder.
Speaker 4 (07:05):
Oh oh, I'm sorry, sir. I didn't realize I was
talking to a premiere member here.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
I apology, so please address me accordingly.

I's got Valet Parking in his past.

No, I wouldn't do that. Well, the thing is when
I went to park, when I went to park in
the garage, I ended up on the roof because it
was that busy, and I'm like, I'm not doing this again.
It is it is. It is too hot for my
car to be sitting out in the sun when it's
like ninety five degrees outside. I know what the brisk
are is coming, but.

I can't tell you the last time I didn't park
on the roof going out there, like I'm always. I
feel like they just sticky on the roof first, anymore,
like stick this guy on the roof.

And I got there at nine thirty like I thought
i'd be good.

I think they pre porky on the roof. I think
that's what they do. They cooked down.

I'm not sure hoping down, but I did that. The
next day, I went over to the French quarter quarterlings
four some ghoulish bignets.

Mickey shape beignets dusted with cookies and cream powdered sugar
in a marshmallow cream drizzle.

Wow, that sounds delicious, and they were.

I believe you. You know my weakness with vignets. You
know what beignets did to me at one point in
my life.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
At my at my office now we literally have a
Beignet place downstairs. Like all these Stella's bignets, so it's
like they are targeting me.

Well, how many do you pack in the day?
Speaker 4 (08:57):
I had one once and it was good.

They make them in like little They make little shred
of wheat sized ones.

Yeah, vignets are delicious, but they are bad news if
you're trying to eat well.

Then bounced over to boardwalk. Mm hmmm, got the went
to Blue Ribbon corn dogs?

Okay, which one did you come away with? Did you
get the pickle one?
Speaker 2 (09:26):
No, one of the large ones, they are pretty big.
Got the Nashville Hot mozzarella stick? Okay, it's really good
and it wasn't It wasn't really spicy.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
Okay, it tastes. I just don't love that nat. Maybe
I had a bad experience because I think the only
time I had Nashville Hot chicken was from publics on
a pub sub and it was disappointing to me.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Well, here's the thing. What usually helps with heat is
dairy and it's got mozzarella cheese inside of it, so
that might have negated a lot of the spice.
Speaker 5 (09:57):
Yeah, that's why did they give you blue cheese with your.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
It comes with ranch as well. Yeah, and then got
the Mexican street dog again, which is delicious.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
Yeah.

Yeah, it's good stuff. Good corn dogs to be had
over at Disney.

Highly recommend if you're going over.

Now, Now, where did you park going out there?

Because I know it's gonna be challenging to park at
those resorts.

We parked at Hollywood Studios and then took the gondola
the skyliner over nice. Nice, and then took the boat
back because where the corn dog stand is it's right
by where the boat dock is. Okay, So we saw
the boats like, let's get on that.
Speaker 4 (10:36):
Love the boat. Love the boat. Boat's a great option
out there at Hollywood Studios.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
It's your future job.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
I mean, I've had some conversations. I feel like the
boat is an option, but they're hard to get. The
old timers keep those boat jobs.
Speaker 5 (10:50):
Dickerman. With the boat, one way you have to stop
at every resort, and one way it's like basically expressed
right back to Hollywood or to Epcot. Which way is
the better way? Uh?
Speaker 3 (11:03):
The expressway obviously, but the resort stops, I mean, those
those can be brutal.
Speaker 5 (11:07):
No, but which way I'm saying, Which direction is it.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
Oh, it's when you're coming back from uh coming, that's
coming back from Ebcot actually.
Speaker 5 (11:18):
So from so from Boardwalk to Hollywood you stop at
every resort, that's my question.

Yeah, if you get on at Boardwalk, yeah, you're stopping
every single resort. You're better off like walking across and
getting on one of the other boat.

We stopped at Swan and Dolphin and then and then
we went to Hollywood Studios, like we were like the
second to last stop where we got it.

Swan Dolphin is the last one before. So if you
get on at Boardwalk, then you're stopping over at Beach
Club and then Swan and Dolphin and then you're going
over to the park.

Okay, but it was fun. It's a good time. Highly
recommend it.

know you said there is a large amount.

shouldn't get off the bat. Okay, new Pandora the World
of Avatar merchandise is now on sale because allegedly we're
getting an allegedly we're getting another new Avatar movie.

I feel like I saw a trailer for that in
the movies.

Recently they're re releasing the second one. Wait water, what's
the water?

Well they changed it long. They changed in twenty twenty
for the seventieth anniversary of Cinderella.

So it's going to go back to its original color scheme.
They're not going to do what I want and put
the inflatable birthday cake on top.

will be having the epic ride the story of Universal
Theme Parks.

NBC are they still going to air this on NBC

Do we know? I don't believe it's definitely gonna be
on Peacock.

Well, I went to Universal Studios, Orlando on Sunday. I
know it was Labor Day weekend because I had to
go to Guest Services to renew my past and that
was a lengthy process, but it finally got done.
Speaker 4 (06:54):
Guess, sir, you had to go all the way down
there renew your past.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
Well, I was making a change when I was, I
was not renewing at the same level pass. I am
no a Premiere passholder.
Speaker 4 (07:05):
Oh oh, I'm sorry, sir. I didn't realize I was
talking to a premiere member here.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
I apology, so please address me accordingly.
Speaker 4 (07:12):
I's got Valet Parking in his past.

Valet Parking, Prime Parking, Express after four.

I've had that Premiere pass before, and I'm telling you
that Valet Parking is worth It is worth everything you

Well, the thing is there, do you just get out
of your car and throw your keys at whatever guy's
standing there and say park it, don't scratch it.

No, I wouldn't do that. Well, the thing is when
I went to park, when I went to park in
the garage, I ended up on the roof because it
was that busy, and I'm like, I'm not doing this again.
It is it is. It is too hot for my
car to be sitting out in the sun when it's
like ninety five degrees outside. I know what the brisk
are is coming, but.

I can't tell you the last time I didn't park
on the roof going out there, like I'm always. I
feel like they just sticky on the roof first, anymore,
like stick this guy on the roof.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
And I got there at nine thirty like I thought
i'd be good.
Speaker 4 (08:04):
I think they pre porky on the roof. I think
that's what they do. They cooked down.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
I'm not sure hoping down, but I did that. The
next day, I went over to the French quarter quarterlings
four some ghoulish bignets.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
Oh tell me more.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
Mickey shape beignets dusted with cookies and cream powdered sugar
in a marshmallow cream drizzle.
Speaker 3 (08:33):
Wow, that sounds delicious, and they were.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
I believe you. You know my weakness with vignets. You
know what beignets did to me at one point in
my life.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
At my at my office now we literally have a
Beignet place downstairs. Like all these Stella's bignets, so it's
like they are targeting me.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
Well, how many do you pack in the day?
Speaker 4 (08:57):
I had one once and it was good.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
One palate.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
They make them in like little They make little shred
of wheat sized ones.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
One oil, drumful.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
Yeah, vignets are delicious, but they are bad news if
you're trying to eat well.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
Then bounced over to boardwalk. Mm hmmm, got the went
to Blue Ribbon corn dogs?
Speaker 5 (09:22):
Okay, which one did you come away with? Did you
get the pickle one?
Speaker 2 (09:26):
No, one of the large ones, they are pretty big.
Got the Nashville Hot mozzarella stick? Okay, it's really good
and it wasn't It wasn't really spicy.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
Okay, it tastes. I just don't love that nat. Maybe
I had a bad experience because I think the only
time I had Nashville Hot chicken was from publics on
a pub sub and it was disappointing to me.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Well, here's the thing. What usually helps with heat is
dairy and it's got mozzarella cheese inside of it, so
that might have negated a lot of the spice.
Speaker 5 (09:57):
Yeah, that's why did they give you blue cheese with your.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
It comes with ranch as well. Yeah, and then got
the Mexican street dog again, which is delicious.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
Yeah, it's good stuff. Good corn dogs to be had
over at Disney.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
Highly recommend if you're going over.
Speaker 4 (10:15):
Now, Now, where did you park going out there?
Speaker 3 (10:18):
Because I know it's gonna be challenging to park at
those resorts.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
We parked at Hollywood Studios and then took the gondola
the skyliner over nice. Nice, and then took the boat
back because where the corn dog stand is it's right
by where the boat dock is. Okay, So we saw
the boats like, let's get on that.
Speaker 4 (10:36):
Love the boat. Love the boat. Boat's a great option
out there at Hollywood Studios.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
It's your future job.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
I mean, I've had some conversations. I feel like the
boat is an option, but they're hard to get. The
old timers keep those boat jobs.
Speaker 5 (10:50):
Dickerman. With the boat, one way you have to stop
at every resort, and one way it's like basically expressed
right back to Hollywood or to Epcot. Which way is
the better way? Uh?
Speaker 3 (11:03):
The expressway obviously, but the resort stops, I mean, those
those can be brutal.
Speaker 5 (11:07):
No, but which way I'm saying, Which direction is it.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
Oh, it's when you're coming back from uh coming, that's
coming back from Ebcot actually.
Speaker 5 (11:18):
So from so from Boardwalk to Hollywood you stop at
every resort, that's my question.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
Yeah, if you get on at Boardwalk, yeah, you're stopping
every single resort. You're better off like walking across and
getting on one of the other boat.
Speaker 4 (11:31):
Yeah.

We stopped at Swan and Dolphin and then and then
we went to Hollywood Studios, like we were like the
second to last stop where we got it.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
Swan Dolphin is the last one before. So if you
get on at Boardwalk, then you're stopping over at Beach
Club and then Swan and Dolphin and then you're going
over to the park.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
Okay, but it was fun. It's a good time. Highly
recommend it.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
Yeah, that's good. That's a that's a fun time, all right,
corn dogs too. Shall we dive into news because I
know you said there is a large amount.

There's a large large amount two Jimmy items that I
shouldn't get off the bat. Okay, new Pandora the World
of Avatar merchandise is now on sale because allegedly we're
getting an allegedly we're getting another new Avatar movie.

I feel like I saw a trailer for that in
the movies.

Recently they're re releasing the second one. Wait water, what's
the water?

I feel like they just changed it recently.

Well they changed it long. They changed in twenty twenty
for the seventieth anniversary of Cinderella.

Oh it's nice, and stopped going to the park basically.

So it's going to go back to its original color scheme.
They're not going to do what I want and put
the inflatable birthday cake on top.

And starting on October eleventh, one member of the show
we will be sending out there to chain themselves to
the outside of it to preserve Walt's legacy. It's his favorite.

Paintable Kingdom.

Pale, a tiny little paint brush.

That is going to be Indiana Jones. It's going to
be that ride will be, but everything else is going
to be like the tropical the tropics area, so it'll
be that in Incanto.

Is it going to be lame?
Speaker 3 (18:39):
Though? Are they just going to skin it Indiana Jones
and change nothing? Are they going to actually do that
flip like they promised in us An Engineering and Imagineering.
Remember the flip, It was supposed to do a full
three sixty flip.
Speaker 5 (18:51):
It's not going to do a flip. And my guess
is they will reskin it. But it's supposed to be
an original story, so it's not going to be like
the Crystal Skull that they had out in Tokyo or
what do they have in California.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
It's the It's a Mayan Adventure in Disneyland, which is
an awesome that right is awesome. I will say that
right is awesome. Yeah, it's gonna be.
Speaker 3 (19:14):
I want them to change the ride though. I want
them to change the mechanics of the ride. I wanted
to be a whole new ride.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
They might firm it up a little bit.

It is a rough do you remember when fround?

Do you remember when it first opened up? It was really
rough and then they had to tone it down.

not so scary or selling out already.

It's there's more dates sold out than there are available
at this point.

Wow, what do they show you the the pricing over

Almost like two hundred dollars on Halloween proper so, which.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
Is sold out. Late September, it's uh one fifty nine
for adults, when forty nine for kids, and you save
ten dollars if you're a Daniel passolder. And then for
late October, for the second half of October, it's uh
one hundred and ninety nine dollars or one hundred and
eighty nine dollars.
Speaker 3 (20:23):
Wow, for like you'll make it like four or five hours, right,
is that right?
Speaker 4 (20:27):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (20:28):
Yeah? Boy, I mean it's a unique experience. It's cool,
But boy, I mean that's just a license to print
money for these parks the Halloween season, for all the parks.
It's just a licensed to print money.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
And they have a whole bunch of the thing. Is
the thing I like about it is. They have characters
you never see in the parks there.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (20:46):
Yeah, well they got to. They gotta make it worth
your while for something.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
Well, yeah, and you can leave with four hours, you
can leave with eight pounds of candy.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
Yeah, I can go buy eight pounds of candy Costco
there for like twenty bucks.
Speaker 4 (20:59):
Yeah.

But don't you want to be able to walk through
a park while you shovel the candy in your mouth?
Speaker 4 (21:03):
Yes? I do, absolutely, I do want that.

And then lastly on Peacock on September twenty ninth, they
will be having the epic ride the story of Universal
Theme Parks.
Speaker 3 (21:18):
Are I don't I don't totally understand, like Peacock and
NBC are they still going to air this on NBC
broadcast television too?
Speaker 4 (21:24):
Do we know? I don't believe it's definitely gonna be
on Peacock.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
It is going to be on Peacock, Okay, and uh
uh Steven Spielberg is a massive part of this.
Speaker 4 (21:33):
That's cool.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
I wonder how they'll address like the situation uh during
when COVID hit, because like we we genuinely had a
period in this show where we're like, man, they might
just give up on this project.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
It was officially paused, like they announced that construction was paused.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
Yeah, I'm curious how they handle that in the documentary,
like how they how they talk about it, and how
if they address you know, how close it was to
maybe we don't do.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
This and the little clip that that have been posted
out on social media. It seems like Steven Spielberg was
the driving force of having the Universal Monsters area.
Speaker 4 (22:07):
Really, yes, thank you mister.

He loves he The thing is he loves theme parks.

Yeah.

And I don't know if it's because you know, he
has a stake in Universal Orlando, which we have talked about,
but I think he just he has several rights.

No, I know, it's just like et like he's there.
He's like in it, you know, he's like talking to you.

Well, he is the And the thing is a lot
of people don't know this. He's there every day. That's
not that's not recording. That's not recorded.

in this retirement.
