Speaker 1 (00:01):
Man.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
Ever since I've been retired. The truth is, I've been
staying busy. I'm working on becoming a multi sport athlete
any day, anytime. I'm the amateur best in the world.
I've even become a Papa shot king. I gotta stay
competitive for the kids. I'm gonna stop ow man, Come
(00:24):
on now, who won't smoke. I've been staying in shake
and with everything I got going on, I've been really
trying to stay on top of my social media game. Wait,
in my life, didn't mean to do that again. You know,
I love the grill, and I've become a master of
(00:44):
the culinary arts. Man, what's next? You know what? I
think I'm gonna start my own show, shoe Boy Paul Pierce,
(01:11):
and welcome to the Truth Lounge. I got some stuff
I gotta get off my chest, and I got a
list right here that we're gonna dress all of these things.
First thing on the list my exit from ESPN. A
lot of y'all had a lot of things to say.
You got fired on your day off. Who's monica, It's
(01:34):
all good. We're gonna talk about that. I got some
truth sum and we're gonna dress everything. Now about ESPN
the day I got fired. Look, it was all going down.
It's my boy's birthday poker game. He had some girls there,
(01:56):
and I'm feeling good. You know, I'm enjoying retirement, poker night,
my boy's birthday.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
Come on now.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
Then I decided to pull my phone out. I was
feeling good. Come on now, I'm feeling good, and I'm like, yeah, yeah, yeah,
I got all the money. Yeah, I'm in whoo whoo,
whoo boom. I thought I had some good visuals. You know.
The girls was having fun. They was dancing. I'm getting
a massage. Look, you don't understand if you ever played
poker and you winning all the money, you feel good.
I wanted to see the moment. I was called the moment,
(02:25):
which you want me to do in the moment? Then
cut it off. I didn't post it, so I'm thinking,
you know, that's it, not me not knowing that you
could record it. People on the internet can record it
and send it out. That's one thing I didn't know
about going live. And so you know, the night was over.
(02:46):
Had a good time, won the money, the girls, they
had a good time. Whatever. I go home, fall asleep. Ah,
it's good night. I slept good that night, because when
you lose, you don't sleep good. But I slept good
that night. I wake up phone us off the chain.
I'm like, yeah, why, it's why everybody blowing me up?
(03:08):
What's going on? I'm like what, what what you mean?
Then I look up the video showing I'm like, oh shit.
Oh so I'm like, damn, I'm not me. I'm not
thinking I did nothing wrong cause I didn't think people
saw it. Man, you did you going viral? He was
up the poker game strippers and by the way, they
wasn't strippers, they was girls. It was the poker game.
(03:31):
It was a bikini knight. And that wasn't a normal night.
It was his birthday. So now I get a call
from this lady. I don't even know her name, so
she probably liked the investigator or whatever her role is
with ESPN whatever, So tell me about what happened at night,
and I'm like, sh I mean you you saw the tape.
I mean I was having a good time. I was
(03:52):
with my friends. It was some dancing, it was some cards.
It was a birthday. I mean, y'all act like y'all
don't be hanging out at in places where stuff like
this is going on. But at the same time, I
was respectful. It wasn't like I was doing anything. I
was sitting there and it was some beautiful women. Are
(04:14):
what's wrong with that? What's wrong with that? You tell
me nothing? So then I get the car her next day, like, hey,
mister Pierce, were sorry to tell you that we're gonna
let you go. You know, Disney has a morals clause,
and I was just like, damn, you know, I couldn't
even really say nothing. All right, cool, But I was
about to quit at the end of the year anyway.
(04:35):
I was tired of putting on the coat and tie.
You know, I was tired of being held back on
my opinions. And so it probably was the right timing
of it all anyway, And so you know, I was
disappointed on the way it went down. You know, I
didn't want it to go that way. But you know
what I'm saying, shit happened. I didn't do nothing illegal,
(04:57):
and that's the story. I got fired for literally having
a good time. And now we watch these shows. You know,
you got employees for ESPN and Fox who got their
alternate shows. Now tell me where the morals and all
of that, you know, when they talking about women and
strippers and drinking alcohol on the set and doing all
(05:19):
this other stuff. Where the moral's at? Now? Why it
change now? You know, I don't get it. You know
it was morals two years ago, but they ain't no
morals no more, Like, what's the deal with that? So
so I don't get you know how you know, people
are gonna define what they say is morals and what's
good and what's not. You know, I'm on my free time.
(05:41):
I could do what i want on my free time,
you know what I'm saying. So if y'all ain't, if
I'm not out here doing this, uh something illegal and
doing something that's against the law, I don't see what's
the problem with what I do on my free time. So,
you know, but this is the truth lounge. We gonna
come with it. It's gonna be a lot more than mnaddress,
you know, It's more than ESPN. We're gonna, i'mna clean
(06:03):
up a lot of shit. We're gonna talk about this
wheelchair that y'all keep talking about, the wheelchair game. We're
gonna talk about man, We're gonna I'm gonna address this
HAZLM thing too. But that's down. That's that's low on
my list. We're gonna get to that later and some
other episodes. I ain't even tripping off of that. That's
that's a low. That's low bearing fruit right there. And
(06:26):
we got some other things were gonna talk about. So
make sure you tune in. The Truth Lound is going
off and you gonna hear my story. You gonna hear
my story and it's gonna come directly from me, the
whole truth and nothing but the truth. So check it
out and the Truth Lounge, we're gonna be discussing a
lot of topics, having a lot of guests watching games.
(06:46):
We're just gonna be lounging, man. But uh, for my
first guests here, man, I want my boy to come
in and God, grew up with my best friend, and
we got a lot of stories to tell from childhood.
My boy, Jake Crow, Jake Crow, where you have up
on your boy?
Speaker 1 (07:01):
Yes, sir, yes, yes?
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Coach yes sir, yeah, yeah, you already know a coach.
My God, this is my brody right here. I don't
even I don't even consider us best friends. This is
like my brother, man. You know, we always sit back
watch games. We talk in the mornings. We talk about games. Man.
I just want to like tell y'all, man, we grew
(07:23):
up together in Inglewood, Inglewood High School. We played JV together,
We pay more together. We want a championship together. This
is my roadie, Man, I'm telling you this this, I
really am really giving him a lot of credits for
the reason of who I became in the league because
me and him worked out every morning. This is my
(07:45):
workout party. We never had no trainer. It was just
me and him. It was our will to get up
every morning six am. And we pushed each other every morning. Man.
And the game has changed today, just the mindset. We
really wanted to make it to the top, you know
what I'm saying. So I give him a lot of
credit to my work ethic, my mentality, and you know,
God bring people together just for a reason. And I
(08:06):
really feel that way. He wasn't heavily recruited, man, but
we worked so hard. We pushed each other. He had
a ten year plus career overseas And this just shows you, kids,
if you work hard, anything can happen. So I'm happy
to have my boy here chopping it up. And so
we don't talk about the latest in the NBA. But
I want to start off, man, what you think about
(08:28):
these Celtics this year? What you think about Well?
Speaker 1 (08:32):
I love the Celtics what they've been doing for the
last three four years. They're about his most consistent, you
know program as we've had in the league. I mean,
they've been right in it. If they ain't been to
the finals, they've been just right there short, you know.
So I think you think they can win it? Yeah,
I mean I've been makking that for three four I've
been thinking that for three four years.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
So it's like I'm kind of like on a wait
and see.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
With them, though, like I'm I'm I can't call him
a true favorite though not because they haven't completed the site.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
Who more of a true favorite there?
Speaker 1 (09:07):
This is what I like about the NBA this year.
I think we're gonna just turn it on and watch, like,
you know, like who.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
Can beat them in the East? Four times?
Speaker 1 (09:15):
Who can beat who can beat them?
Speaker 2 (09:17):
And be a healthy Celtic team in the East four times?
Speaker 3 (09:20):
But let's remember that the Philadelphia had him dead dead.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
They an't feel it. I don't want to hear that.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
No, no, no, But I'm just saying. I'm just saying, I
don't want to hear that in the East.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
Uh, you only got one legit team, Miami, because they
even though they are already that's the only team that
I'd be like, all right, that like damn.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
A tough matchup. They get tough during the playoffs. They
get their stuff together. But look, I don't see I
see him. I see him doing well. But I'm just
kind of like Gonnas against I'm hesitating against the Celtics
right now because of what they've been showing me the
last three years. They have one or two games in
the playoffs, that's hair scratchers. M if it ain't game six,
(10:02):
you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
Yeah, so you know this is this the breakthrough year for.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
Is this that year? You know what I mean? Obviously
Tatum is playing at all time level, the addition of
PORIZENI inst is he gonna be healthy?
Speaker 2 (10:17):
We gotta change the narrative. It's the second half of
the season. Knicks is coming up. You already know about
the Knicks. You know I didn't have I could put
a whole highlight tape against the Knicks, just me alone
me versus the Knicks. But anyway, they gonna play the
Knicks on Saturday. But before we get to that, I
got Jason tATu for MVP. It ain't been talked about enough.
(10:39):
He on the best player on the best team, and
I think he's been flying under the radar. We didn't
talked about him. Be joker Shaye, who you think right
now is the MVP.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
You know, I'm not gonna totally go against that. I
think I think Tatum is in his mode. I think
in his timing. But for me personally, I got I
got Shay as my m v P because I just
believe that if you take him off that team, I
don't think we're even talking about okay see, And I
(11:14):
think them being able to be at them being able
to secure a home court in the first round from
where they've been as a program to today, and the
way he's carrying that load each and every night. He
play every night. He don't miss games, and they don't
have anybody else who's even in the envy, who's even
(11:37):
in the All Star talk word you know what I'm saying, Like,
like we're talking about check might be a cookie, right,
he might be a rookie that that that's in the
Rookie of Year talk. But they got nobody in the
If you think about all the other teams, they got somebody,
whether that's Anthony Edwards and Carsley Towns, whether that's.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
This, they got who else? Looks Luca got Kyrie.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
A Joker gotta be in there.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
There jokers in there every year, like Joker is he
stamped in the MVP conversation. But I think Joker don't
want it like that.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
He don't play for that.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
Like last year we knew NB wanted it.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
Yeah he took it, and I think, uh, I think
Joker don't really want it. I think that championship if
he want that finals m v P, he know that
that's the m v P. To me, the finals MVP
is the m v P.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
That's what I'm saying. So the year I won, I
got controversy. The year I won, I got NDP when
we went to Spain. Remember we went to Spain through
the camp and everybody got all mad because they was like, hey,
you know who you just played against, Kobe the best
player in the world, And now what I say?
Speaker 1 (12:49):
I said, wait, yeah, I'm sitting there. Remember I told
you was like this controversy that was the start of
the internet and social media. Really this news traveling.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
I thought, I was, well.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
I'm gonna be honest with you. Look, if you win
follows m v P you know, but was the best
player in the world. Belay the route that year, the
route that you went that year. It's all about your route.
That's why you went through Lebron and Kobe And.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
Yeah, Detroit pis was But if he was talking.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
About m v PS, you went through Lebron and Kobe.
Those if you ever mentioned those names that you beat,
those are two of the most the greatest names in
the history of the of the league.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
Step two.
Speaker 1 (13:39):
Yeah, so I understood when you said that. I wouldn't
expect you to say anything else. Now I get it, though,
so when you said that, I got it from a
news standpoint, it sounds ridiculous to the average player.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
But the question was asked when we was in Spain.
So we won a championship, so me and him went
the Spain, I did a camp and in Madrid. We
did them in camp in Madrid and they was like, hey, Paul,
what do you think you just played against Kobe, the
best player in the world. And I stopped the reporter.
I said, wait, I'm the best player in the world.
I just want to be what else I got to.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Be this season?
Speaker 2 (14:15):
This shit here right here, right now, season, I'm the
best player in the world. Why wouldn't I believe that?
To see people, the fans want to get ridiculed on that.
Why y'all mad at me? Because my confidence is this?
Why y'all mad at me if I put my mindset
in that state. So for you young kids, if your
mind ain't like that, man, I don't see how you
ever gonna succeed and be at that level. Even if
(14:37):
it wasn't even if I wasn't the best player in
the world, I thought that. I thought that when I.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
Needed to be for your team to win, you can't
go out here. You can't go out here and fight
against great champions and I believe you're going.
Speaker 3 (14:51):
To defeat them.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
You gotta have that type of confidence because that was
those were the matchups.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
I just think people was mad that I said that.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
Like it came out the way the article was presented.
It came out different than the question was asked to
it did, right, So if you just read that statement,
you take it out of the question that you don't
understand that. That's not you just going around saying that.
They kind of pressed you to either you're gonna glorify
another man, Are you gonna be the you just won
(15:23):
a championship and you basket and your blow. Somebody want
to bring you down? That's it.
Speaker 3 (15:28):
I'm not coming down off these chips.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
I'm on top of the mountain right now.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (15:35):
I'm on top of the mount Yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:38):
We just want a chip.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
Yeah, why you gonna take that away from me? I'm
not about to glorify nothing else. This is my moment
right now. So if I was the best part of
it for one year out of the nineteen years, I'll played.
Give me that just for one season. Hey, that's how
it felt, period. Ain't nothing wrong with that. See, that's
what the kids, don't. We gotta tease the kids this mindset.
By the way, this coach crow head basketball coach at
(16:01):
Lynwell High School, they want to state championship. Last year
got a son named Jason crow Junior, one of the
top sophomores in all the country, one of the one
of the best scores. Man, if y'all got a chance
to check out Jason Crow Junior that his son is
one of them ones. Man, and hopefully you know you
now you you dealing with how is it today? Man?
(16:22):
Like you being a high school coach and you got
a son that's on the top in the country and
the game is so different now, and you dealing with
recruiting as far as every school in the country. Inn Il,
people like just grabbing at you. Now, how is that?
What's the fine line with a coach and his son
and knowing when depressing and win the hole back? You know,
(16:45):
because you know a lot of times when a coach
is coaching his son, a lot of other players look
like his favoritism. Oh he the son, He get more minutes,
he get more touches. But how is that being and
then the journey to where he is befortunate he is
now because it's like I know, parents say stuff like
he played the whole game, he get all the shots
(17:07):
high is that though? Man?
Speaker 1 (17:08):
I mean I know I would say this. It would
be a lot different if he wasn't the best player,
Like like, if he wasn't the best out there in practice,
and he do and he and he and he destroyed
his teammates each and every day I get to I
watched that so because I think if it was different,
then now you're gonna have issues because he's so he's
(17:32):
so good that nobody can say nothing, right, So you
so you know, nobody can say that because if you
want to come watch practice, you can come watch. My
practices are open to all the parents. For that reason.
I think that's what's different about it too. I keep
my practices open and watch. My practice has always been
(17:53):
open to parents. I'm different than like that other coaches,
I think, and I think the more that I got
as my son got better, I think that became more.
So you can watch to see how I'm teaching to
see you know, who I'm holding accountable and what I'm
holding accountable to and why are we're doing this? And
you know, I think it's uh. Coaching them is easy.
(18:14):
I think the hardest part is transitioning back to the father, right, Like,
that's that's the part that that I gotta constantly adapt to, right,
I gotta constantly keep it, you know. And that's what's
good about our relationship that we both love the game.
I think that that makes it easy to coach him
and do that. But I gotta transition to being a father,
you know what I mean. I gotta get back to
(18:35):
that because I can't. The thing about coaching any player,
they got emotions when they out there trying to win
a game. And the emotions is out there, you cannot
take it personally. Like when he when he in his
home and I'm telling him to run this and he
sees something else and he owned one. I got it.
I can't now, big boy. I'm like, I'm your father.
Shut up, No, I gotta listen. And it's sometimes it's like, nah,
(18:58):
do what I'm telling you to do. I'm the coach.
But sometimes you can't get into your ego with that.
You can't be a father right now while you're trying
to coach. You gotta let this player and trust his player.
You know, Okay he feels like that, he feel it. Okay, Yes,
you gotta do that. You gotta do that.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
Got trust you.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
Yeah, And I think that's what helped us, you know,
our relationship as father the father coach.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
You know, it's like like the n I l like
a lot of things have been been said about that,
and he's put itself in a position for that and
do it. Get overwhelming, just like the people pulling at
him right now. Man, because we ain't had to deal
with that growing up, you know what.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
You know we didn't, but we got the experience. And
I'm to be honest, like the one thing that our
relationship has done. You said some of this about me,
but you being successful, I'm right on your heels. I'm
able to hold on, so I'm able to get access
and see the way you're getting pulled. Like the stress
(20:08):
that was on you, having to take care of your homes,
having to take care of the neighborhood, having to take
care of your family. Now you got these cousins I've
never seen before. Now you got these people. You got
to deal with all of this, you know what I'm saying.
So I'm seeing this from you now I can draw
from you, you can go and yeah, because I love you,
(20:29):
I love but this thing I love about it, like
I love how you made the main thing the main thing.
You never let all that other stuff overwhelm you. And
I think going through that and doing that has really
helped the message. Because the thing about him is that
he's been very humble. You know, he's been very humble,
(20:50):
Like he don't walk around. If I was in his shoes,
you couldn't control me right now. You cann't control me,
right You cann't control me right now. And he's he
still he's a he's a great son in that regard.
(21:11):
You know what I mean in terms of that. But
I'll tell you what what helps to is that the
NIL space parents. What I would say is, don't lose
sight on what it is like because you can hit
as a family. But what is your goal? If your
goal is to be good at basketball, I think people
lose sight of that. They want to get to a
(21:32):
place of comfort so fast, like let me get here
to nil, who I can fall back? No goal, it's
a way bigger goal. So I'm dodging in il like
they was trying to do the day in the life,
and I'm like, I don't want to do a day
in the life. They was like, well, this can bring
this type of revenue for you and this that and
the other, but I don't want to compromise our life, right,
(21:53):
you know what I'm saying, Because it's like you can
get you what's your goal. It's your goal to get
the A million or the halfman or whatever it is.
Speaker 3 (22:02):
In NIL are you trying to get that two.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
Hundred million over there. What you want, what you're going for.
I seen so many kids go through that early so too.
Running the program that we had Jayalen Green, right, he was.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
One of the on our AAU team by the way,
if y'all don't know.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
That, and watching him blow up on our watch. Yeah,
I saw the energy. I saw everything moving. I saw
the trends in the game and the business and everything moving,
you know what I'm saying. And Jalalen Green is a
great worker man, the one thing about him. But also
seeing Josh Christopher and seeing the way, seeing the way
(22:42):
he carried it, you know what I'm saying, Like he
was into that. I'm not gonna say that he didn't
love the game, but he knew to put so much
energy into that time into that that was a focus
for him. I gotta do. I gotta be silly. I
got to entertain, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
Yeah, but man, it's so much that going to this
high school. Man, it's just it's a different ball game.
And you know, throughout the course of the truth flounds,
we're gonna be talking to different top high schoolers and
you get it first hand. Right here, because you got
a guy whose son is in the mix right now
that's gonna be butting for a few a couple of years.
And so you know as time moves on, uh, you
(23:23):
know we're gonna see Gil with Arena's son is in there,
Trevia Reza's son is in there, and so you know,
this is a segment I really want to hit on
in the truth flounds. But let's get back to the NBA. Man,
who who can win it? Who the contenders?
Speaker 1 (23:36):
Right now?
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Bro? Who?
Speaker 1 (23:42):
Everybody talking about the Clippers? But I'm not sold.
Speaker 2 (23:44):
You ain't sold on the Clippers.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
No. I love their I love their team, how they
play their style, But I want to see them. Can
they go series by series and break this down? They
haven't shown me that with this group. You know, everybody's
high on them because the West is wide open, right
because if you got Minnesota and okay, see at the top.
(24:09):
So if you're gonna ask me who's my I'm looking
at Denver Boston. I'm looking at a Denver Boston final
and I'm looking at uh.
Speaker 3 (24:20):
No.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
I mean, but they deserve it, right, It's not right there?
I mean because what Minnesota got the best record?
Speaker 2 (24:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (24:28):
So we're still picking Denver.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
Ain't nobody respecting Minnesota though, Ain't nobody respecting Okay, see
them is the top two team.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Well, you don't respect them, You're gonna get clap. That's
the thing. You're gonna get clap.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
They ain't got no playoff experience.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
No, but I'm saying that's if I'm Lakes.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
Or Golden State and I gotta see okay see or
Minnesota first round? Who you got?
Speaker 3 (24:54):
I got okay see, first round?
Speaker 2 (24:57):
Okay see, you gotta play the Lakes if you have
to put your money on it.
Speaker 1 (25:01):
No, I'm taking the Lates first round versus okay see.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
All right now, if you got Golden State Minnesota first round.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
You know when I'm gonna I'm gonna take. I'm actually
gonna take uh Minnesota this year. You know why? You
know why because they've been battling Okay see, ain't been
to the Yes they have, but they almost popped. They
was battling with Memphis.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
Yeah, they lost every home game.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
Yeah, but that's what I'm saying. It take heartache to
drive these teams. Like you know what I'm saying, Like
that team been together now and Minnesota.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
It like second year together.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
No, but the core pieces with Anthony Edwards.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
And so I'm saying they ain't got no d playoff run.
And this is a time you got your leader. It's
twenty one. I love a.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
State, love him. I got them beat Golden State though,
but I don't got them. I'm going to the finals.
But if that's what Golden State running to first round,
then that's good night.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
That's fair.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
You know what I'm saying, good night Golden State because
I got them beating them. Right now, I think Golden
State is still a team. Now.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
You bringing Klay Thompson off the bench, right now, come on, I.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
Think that's good. You know what that is. Look, look
that remind me when I saw him go to the bench.
It was a year we had Avery Bradley was starting
to emerge and were still contender, and we had bro
Ray off the bench because we thought that was the
best thing going. Doctors like they come off the bench.
And that's the reason right left, I'm telling.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
You, yes about that's how that work out for you?
Speaker 3 (26:44):
How that work out for you?
Speaker 2 (26:46):
Avery Bradley, of a reality was a doll.
Speaker 3 (26:49):
Listen, I understand all of that.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
You know what I mean? All right, But what I'm
saying is that exactly, I don't like this. Who is that?
Who is it? I don't even know? Like that's my
point is that I don't in the middle of the season.
You're not going to the championship doing those type of things, right,
That's not the plan we had.
Speaker 3 (27:09):
We set off on this journey. We set sail. We
wasn't banking on that to bring.
Speaker 1 (27:15):
A rookie or a second year player to the starting lineup,
depend on him and then have Clay come in. So
you got you got the knicks in the Celtics in
the MSG this weekend. You know what I'm saying. I
remember you brought me out there for one game, Like,
what was your one of your fathest memories there? Is it?
The one when Nate Robinson fall off the back and
(27:37):
almost in his career.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
Dude, I ain't gonna lie. I love playing against the Day.
It was just something about in Madison Square Garden you
felt like you was on the stage because the light
came down on the arena and it was dark in
the crowd. Spike Lee, you know, I remember just Paris
Hilton in and there, Rob Lowe, you had so many
celebrities in there, and I was like, I got a shile.
I gotta show out. You know, I'd have some good
(28:03):
games out there, A couple of game winners want the
ticket when I hit. And then y'all don't know what
Nate Robinson was doing that, Like like, lude I hit
my game winner, bro let me fly, Let me fly?
You doing no? Let me fly? Bro? I would flow
through there like you know what. I didn't even know
(28:25):
what he was on until I saw the replay and
I'm like, what they doing? But like, yeah, Madison Square
Garden is a special place. Dog. I love playing there.
You know. It's just like every player loved that because
even when I look from Lebron having a great game
there to Kobe going in there, you go to Madison
Because I feel like this as an NBA player, if
(28:48):
you want your respect around the league, you gotta kill
a Madison Square Guarden straight up, because Madison Square Garden
is one of the meccas of basketball period. So you
got hoop heads, you got celebrities, you got real fans
in there. So if you want respect around the league,
if you want respect around the whole East Coast, you
(29:09):
got a ball out in New York. But you want
some respect.
Speaker 1 (29:12):
Well you know what I say.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
I felt that.
Speaker 1 (29:14):
When you're in there and you can touch on this,
like it feels more theatrical, Like you talk about a
little bit of delighting, right the lights, It just the
way the sounds come in, Like every arena got their
own thing. But this is just it's hard for people
to truly understand, like how this is like the real thea,
(29:34):
Like this is the real production of the NBA for real,
Like this is what they really want to show. This
is the real Like this is Broadway celebrities. Yeah, Spotlight
It's like you really Yeah, this is a cinema, no doubt.
This is a cinema that you can feel it just
coming in. I remember we went up through.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
That change the criteria of the Hall of Fame. If
you ain't get forty in the garland, you can't get
Hall of Fame. Straight up. Ain't got forty forty a
few times. Come on now, don't don't play me like that.
I had forty a couple of forty six forty game winners.
If you gonna get forty in the guard, you shouldn't remember.
Speaker 1 (30:12):
I just was watching that thing not too long ago
when Sheumper was like he was guarding you, was talking like, man,
when we're gonna start playing that in the garden. That
Trumper was like, he was guarding you, and you was
at him and you was talking to Mellow like what
we doing?
Speaker 3 (30:27):
You ain't guard me?
Speaker 1 (30:28):
Like all right, when you go to everybody, like when
you're gonna when we're gonna play.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
That's what I said. I used to be like when
the stars didn't guard me and I guard them, I'll
be like, when you're gonna guard me. I used to
say that because I used to guard everybody. I'm guard
t mac Vince, Mellow, bro y'all gonna guard me?
Speaker 1 (30:47):
Like. That's what I think. People don't know what I
was It's the part I think people don't understand. That's
what I was on about about your career.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
I think that you gotta get me forty.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
People don't know that though.
Speaker 2 (30:58):
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
People don't know that. They don't know that you you
didn't do the cross matching.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
Nah, I ain't on that. I'm guarding you. You gonna have
to hit me over the head. I'm'a take it and
i'm'a come back again. Nah, you gonna guard me cause
I'm guarding you. I remember I said that the MAC.
I said that the m I said that to them.
I don't know if they remember, but I know I
said it. Like why you ain't guarding over here like
I'm over there like they they see. And that's what
(31:23):
I don't like about today NBA. They don't guard each
other like match up, bro, match up? No, come on, man,
what you scared to be on YouTube? You scared to
be on Instagram? Nah? Cause we gonna match up again.
We gonna match up again. It ain't like this the
only one time. This ain't boxing, n where you knock
me out. We might not fight again, and I don't
i'm'a dance all night. NOA. We gonna go again. Yeah,
(31:46):
you can get me today, but it's gonna be another time.
And that's what I don't like. That's all I don't like.
That's why I was on that.
Speaker 1 (31:53):
I was on defense.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
Yeah, dog, come on, come on. But but the next thing,
you like them?
Speaker 1 (31:58):
La?
Speaker 2 (31:59):
Do you think they got a chance?
Speaker 1 (32:01):
You know, I don't think they got a chance to
win it. I gotta think I think this is what
they what they're gonna do. I think they're gonna break
some hearts. I think like they got a chance to
knock somebody out. Let me see, like they're not gonna
win it either, right, but they gonna break your heart
because you're gonna have to deal with them. And if
(32:22):
you can't get through them, then they gonna break your heart,
whether that be you ran into them hears.
Speaker 2 (32:28):
Y'all can hate me, y'all can continue to hate me, but.
Speaker 1 (32:30):
They're gonna break somebody heard you got them right now?
Look lookly right now, you got second round match up Milwake.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
Might lose first round right now the playoffs started to
day Knicks verse six ers and be back. I'm taking
six ers if and be coming back. So you confident
that the Knicks right now and then who they got
to see the second round?
Speaker 3 (32:53):
They gotta see that beat the Sixers by tonight.
Speaker 2 (32:56):
No, no, no, no.
Speaker 1 (32:58):
I mean this is this type of beat like for
the y'all getting beat. Okay, de Bo coming back, But
the rest of y'all better not.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
Be caught on the block because and hold on, who's
going listen to this? For of course, Indiana is one
game behind six Ers, so they can be in that slot.
You think they beat Indiana, Well, all that can that's
first round. Well, I think they got the defense to
do it right. I think they got the young bodies.
Speaker 1 (33:23):
The problem with.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
Playing against and I'm gonna say it now. You gotta
be on this. I'm gonna say it right now, and
look at me. Nicks will not make it out the
first round.
Speaker 1 (33:36):
He blew it, Nicks.
Speaker 2 (33:38):
I'm looking at it now. Nicks will not make it
out the first round. And I'm standing on that.
Speaker 1 (33:46):
Okay, all right.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
Just say what you want about them. I know I
said something earlier on the KG Certified taking the truth
that they can be in the Counras finals. But as
I look today, Knicks won't make it out the first round.
Speaker 1 (33:58):
We'll revisit that.
Speaker 2 (33:59):
They gotta see that. You gotta see the Sixers or
Indiana and Miami can creep up there.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
Listen, those guys gotta see them.
Speaker 2 (34:07):
The teams you name, let me tell you this, ain't
nobody walking in. Who is the fourth quarter? Teams is
gonna be like, all right, listen.
Speaker 1 (34:14):
I want to see a couple of days so we
can match it with.
Speaker 2 (34:17):
The Knicks first round.
Speaker 1 (34:18):
No, let's make this nobody Knicks.
Speaker 2 (34:23):
You ain't doing that to tell that the Nicks the Knicks. Right, like,
let's drop the six so we can see the selfish
in the conference finals.
Speaker 1 (34:29):
They can keep up. See the thing about the next
let me tell you what people are missing on the
Knicks is that, Okay, Indiana is a tough matchup in
the regular season. No, Indiana plays too fast for you
in the regular season.
Speaker 2 (34:41):
If you missing shots, Indiana will blow you out.
Speaker 1 (34:43):
But but Thibodeau is gonna be locked into the game playing.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
He's not having that.
Speaker 1 (34:48):
But they not having that. The Knicks is gonna break
some hearts. They're gonna hurt Nicks. Y'all can hate me.
They're gonna have They're gonna have Doc rivers in them
and shambles. Alright, let me see yeah them type of
match they gonna get him talked about in the blogs.
Speaker 2 (35:05):
Come on, move up the three they might have been
with the three man. Nicks is in a bad spot
right down. They either got to see the sixers Indiana,
Orlando or Miami in the first round.
Speaker 1 (35:20):
All those sound like lunch meat. Now, the problem with
the Knicks is that I don't see them. Their problem
is Boston, right. The next problem this is where this
is where the Knicks is gonna do Boston favor. They
gonna knock out everybody and then they gonna run the
Boston and then double wings is too much for him.
(35:40):
Tatum is a bad matchup for.
Speaker 2 (35:43):
For the next They're gonna get an Andob back, which
is solid. They're gonna get a Rundo back.
Speaker 1 (35:48):
I like the Knicks because they got a fourth quarter
score when the game slows down. The Pacers are regular
season playing. The Knicks can play a half court game.
We know that that's what it takes to win.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
The playoffs is different, bro half court right, the playoffs
is different.
Speaker 1 (36:05):
Look, I know that, But you can't stop bruntsing no
matter how you scheme.
Speaker 2 (36:09):
Love's unique. No, listen, I love Brunson. I'm gonna keep
it one.
Speaker 3 (36:13):
He can't win around, he can't win two rounds.
Speaker 2 (36:16):
If Brunson is your best player, you cannot win a championship.
But you can get out the first round with Brunson.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
He's good.
Speaker 2 (36:27):
No, no, no, no, listen. Because I've always said if your
point guard is your best player, you can't win a championship.
I've said that there's only exception to the rule. Isaiah
Magic and Curry, and we talking about three of the
best guards ever play. Arguably all three of them are
top twenty all time players.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
No, I don't think they could do that. But you
know what they're doing right now though they so young,
and they got the right type of team in place
that they right there. They freed up four and all
that money they lined up to grab another piece.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
If the Knicks make it out the first round, I
won't wear a Nexs jersey a Brunton jersey.
Speaker 1 (37:04):
But look think about this, though, who is available on
the free agent I won't wear.
Speaker 2 (37:08):
A Bunton jersey for a week if they make it
out the first round. And it's not this ain't knocking Brunton,
but it's just that's he's the best player in New York.
So I wear New York Knicks jersey, which is pretty
much outlaw, outlaw for somebody that represents Boston.
Speaker 1 (37:23):
I love it, man, because I'm a big Brunton fan.
So you just get that jersey to me when you
through with it. Through with that, just pass that on
to your boy. I know you can't have that around
you know what I mean. M That'll be great for
me because that's I'm a I'm a I'm a big
fan of Brunson. Uh like, I.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
Agree this weekend is it in New York? New York.
They can be No, they can't beat them without without.
Speaker 1 (37:51):
A no No. I like Boston. I'm not telling they
gonna be Boston. I just love what the Knicks is doing.
I love them.
Speaker 3 (37:58):
I love the move they made love.
Speaker 1 (38:01):
I love. I love Villanova in the NBA. Villanova. They
got two championships from Villanova. They got they they got
their starting back court with. But but I love the chemistry,
I love the defensive mentality. I love the players. They
picked up a chore. They got a dog, Andoby's a dog.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
The first round. Any restaurant in l A on.
Speaker 1 (38:29):
Me, okay, good, good jersey in the Bronson Jersey, I
love it. We'll be there, you know what I'm saying.
So many great spots. I love being from l A.
Speaker 2 (38:40):
Alright, So another thing we're gonna come up with in
the Truth Lounge. It is the Truth Challenge. So you'all
better tune in to the truth challenges. And the reason
this came up is because when we was on KG certified,
Vita Vea and I had some Twitter moments, but it
(39:05):
was a thing where we were talking about football and
it was like via Veil beat anybody in the race,
and I was like, ain't no way a four hundred
pound dude beat me in a race. So that's gonna
be a part of my Truth Challenge where I'm gonna
race via Vel. That's one of them. So the thing
that's surrounded the Truth Challenge is I want to compete
against all these different athletes and other sports. I wanna
(39:28):
do a tennis challenge to where I get a professional
tennis player to serve to me ten times and I
gotta return they serve. Can I kick a forty year
forty yard field goal? Can I beat a great cyclist
in biking? Can I hit a major league pitch? Ten
tries I go to VP, I get a major league
(39:51):
pitchquence here? No, No, it's not a consequence. It's just
it's just a challenge. Like people, you know you lose. No,
people always criticizing sports and me being an athlete, Uh
going into another sport, you know you look like, man,
you didn't hit that hit that shot. Or I want
(40:12):
to just show people that it's harder than you think,
you know, So like me going to batting practice to see.
Speaker 1 (40:17):
You about you're going to show people what you about
to fail.
Speaker 2 (40:21):
No, I might not. I think I can do I
think I can do it.
Speaker 1 (40:26):
You're retired as I can do it.
Speaker 2 (40:28):
So that's gonna be the challenges. And this is just
to show people like it's harder than to think I'm
a great athlete today today?
Speaker 1 (40:36):
Are you talking about when you was playing against COVID
still two thousand?
Speaker 2 (40:39):
Still today? Okay, So I work out every day. I
don't know who I can still done.
Speaker 1 (40:44):
I'm not. I'm talking about what I used to do,
and I'm proud.
Speaker 2 (40:46):
I want to get I used to be. I want
to I want to get on that. I want to
get on the soccer field and be the goalie and
see if I can.
Speaker 3 (40:54):
No, you don't want to do that. No, don't do that.
Speaker 2 (40:58):
One, don't do that.
Speaker 1 (40:59):
Don't do that.
Speaker 2 (41:00):
I can get a stop, No I can't.
Speaker 1 (41:03):
Now no free kick. Bro. If they you got other
players out there, you would, they will go nine out
of ten. One.
Speaker 2 (41:12):
All I need is one stop.
Speaker 1 (41:13):
They're gonna do that for the show like this. The
better you're not might get the hockey, getting stop.
Speaker 2 (41:21):
Baseball, soccer and be the man. We're gonna do that.
Speaker 1 (41:25):
I'm gonna give you a chance. I'm gonna give you
a chance on the Uh, you got baseball history. So
what I would do about was you, I'll try to
give me a bunt, try to get.
Speaker 2 (41:35):
It, get into the outfield, try to base it. Getting well,
Look the look, he is a football player that played
for Tampa. He's four hundred pounds. No, but he's retired
to No, he's not. He's still he's playing. He's in
his prime. So look, he's four hundred pounds. Bro, we
were gonna race a forty. We're gonna do a forty. Okay,
(41:57):
he said he could beat me in a forty four
hundred pounds.
Speaker 1 (42:00):
I'm just saying, ain't no, who is your insurance provider?
Speaker 2 (42:03):
I ain't no four hundred pounds dude. You think a
four hundred pound dude can beat you on the forty?
Speaker 1 (42:08):
Listen, I'm asking. I'm not in that mode right now.
Speaker 2 (42:13):
I'm in that mold.
Speaker 1 (42:14):
Yeah, I feel it's your mind there.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
Whatever, Well, make sure you'll tune in. Truth. Challenges is coming.
I want to see it. Hey, you don't want to
see this.
Speaker 1 (42:24):
The race might be your best chance, but the goalie
lead that stuff alone lead.
Speaker 2 (42:31):
I need to get Michael PEPs in the swimming pool.
But look, I need a handstart, bro give me a handstart.
We do one lap and you started to start, and
I get in the middle, and we go, Michael Phelps,
let's go.
Speaker 1 (42:42):
By the time you rev up, he canna be on you.
Speaker 2 (42:46):
Truth Childlenge.
Speaker 1 (42:47):
I look out for it, Okay, I'm looking for that.
Speaker 2 (42:51):
So we're sitting here watching this Laker Warriors game, and
what I want to ask you is who's window is
the closest to being closed? Out of the Warriors and
the Lakers, who has the best chance to win a championship?
(43:13):
Out of those two? You know, you got some agent
superstars and they not They not at the top of
the division, or they're not at the top of the conference,
and they both gonna be playing teams. Maybe who has
the best chance to win the championship?
Speaker 1 (43:29):
Who you think?
Speaker 2 (43:29):
Who you think?
Speaker 1 (43:30):
Well, I think I think it's two different answers to that, right,
Like who has the best chance to win? I'm gonna
go with the Lakers.
Speaker 2 (43:38):
They windows more a little more open than.
Speaker 3 (43:40):
I think the Lakers this year.
Speaker 2 (43:42):
If they don't win this year, then it's closed.
Speaker 1 (43:44):
Well, the thing that Lakers have they have one advantage
on their self on the Warriors, that they have another
superstar who still can be paired with with a superstar
and go on like if Lebron. If Lebron shut it down,
a D can still if you put him with somebody
like a Luca, you get Luca and a D. I'm
(44:05):
just saying, so as long as you got with Curry,
I think they don't have nobody else yet. They looking
to see who is going to step up. Curry has
played so unbelievable in the finals that who can give
him the support when you move Klay Thompson to the
bench and minimize his value, Who are you looking for?
(44:26):
I don't know who that next guy is.
Speaker 2 (44:29):
So you said the Lakers got a better chance to
go to State.
Speaker 1 (44:31):
But yeah, I think I think the Lakers got constructed
ask instructure. I think the Lakers can got a better
chance in needs playoffs to do some more damage because
I think I think Lebron is tough in a four
game series. I mean, they got slept by the champs, right,
but they but they won.
Speaker 2 (44:49):
They went from the playing never count Lebron out.
Speaker 1 (44:52):
That's my point. They went from the playing all the way.
But he got got ad Ad go out there and
get thirty and fifteen. If Curry go out there and
get twenty five points, who is going to support him
on that night in the playoff game? Right?
Speaker 3 (45:11):
So that's why, like the Lakers.
Speaker 2 (45:13):
I think I might agree with you on that one
like that, unless I mean, if we talking about Golden State,
I don't even know who the second best player on
Golden State is right now, Like it could be Cominga,
it could be Clay, it could be Draymond, it could
be Wiggins.
Speaker 1 (45:27):
No consistency, no consistent right there.
Speaker 2 (45:30):
So in saying that, it makes more sense. But the
Lakers should be better than what they are, you got
arguably right now, Lebron is a top ten, top fifteen
player still in the league. Yeah, Ad is a top
ten player in the league right now.
Speaker 1 (45:47):
Because you know what their problem is when I look
at them, they play better defense in the playoffs. Because
now Lebron is gonna commit this eighty two game marathon
is too much for Lebron at this stage of his
career to add asked him to go out there and
play top five league defense because he has to be
the catalyst. He got to be the catalyst. Though for
(46:09):
these other guys. He got athletes that can roll with
him when when he's rolling, but he can't fall back
and expect them to take the lead on that side
of the ball out there on the perimeter. So I
think when it gets to the playoffs, that's what makes
them a different animal. They defense.
Speaker 2 (46:24):
So if we're saying that Lakers window is still open
a little bit better than go to State. So the
Lakers is this year, next year. In Golden State is
this year, and that's it.
Speaker 1 (46:35):
I think Golden State window is closed.
Speaker 2 (46:38):
You think it's closed.
Speaker 3 (46:39):
Yeah, I don't see them as no contender this year.
Speaker 2 (46:41):
They like they fighting for a players they they didn't want.
They didn't want they winning right now, they looking like
that they can win a chip. But if we're saying,
you got OKC at the top, Minnesota at the top, they.
Speaker 1 (46:58):
Just changed their lineup. They winning, but they just changed
their lineup. Think about that. They just so they unsure
of themselves. They don't know what they got going on.
They said, look, we're gonna put an unproven guy in
the starting lineup right now. So we just going in here,
we don't know what's going on.
Speaker 2 (47:16):
We just say they put a guy who's been consistent.
Speaker 1 (47:18):
Who in the lineup to state the young I can't
pronounce his name. I don'tant to miss pronounce his name.
He hasn't been consistent. Let's come on, he's playing hard exactly.
It's a difference between playing hard and getting these playoffs
and having to guard these guys.
Speaker 2 (47:37):
All right, So gold to State, you match him up
with the Wolves.
Speaker 1 (47:42):
They're gonna get him out of here's gonna win that
series this year.
Speaker 2 (47:47):
Gold to State, you match him up with Dallas. Go
to State, you match him up with New Orleans and
I get to the conference finals and see, Denver.
Speaker 1 (47:55):
I got They won't get in New Orleans because look,
they're gonna be fighting to be on the bottom, but
they gonna get if they they lucky. If this is
what they need to happen, they need to get okay,
see in the first round.
Speaker 3 (48:07):
Yeah, they gotta get it.
Speaker 1 (48:08):
They got to come in there somehow get that seventh
spot when they win it, when they get through the
play in, because they're gonna be in the play in. Yeah,
So they get that seventh spot and deal with Oka.
See in that second spot. But if Denver's in that
second spot, good night.
Speaker 2 (48:22):
So there you have a Golden State windows closed Lakers
windows two years.
Speaker 1 (48:26):
Yeah, because the Lakers can be okay see And I
mean no, the Lakers can beat Minnesota right now.
Speaker 2 (48:32):
They can be okay see in Minnesota right now.
Speaker 1 (48:34):
Yeah, they can't beat Denver. That's just it right there.
Speaker 2 (48:37):
Yeah, I think Lebron is in the space to where
right now he's just trying to get through the regular season.
And if you can get Lebron rested at the end
of the year and you make the play in and
get into the play in and you find a way
that where he can be rested.
Speaker 1 (48:50):
Team for the playoffs, you can elevate.
Speaker 2 (48:52):
He can elevate. He understands the moment. People gotta understand,
not that Curry don't and they don't, but just don't
have enough help. They don't have enough help.
Speaker 1 (49:00):
I just like the team better. I mean, you got
Russell that can carry you in a second quarter, that
can get ten to twelve points in the second quarter
to balance out and keep you steady while Lebron rests.
You got players like Hachi Mirror that you don't need them.
But at home, the game game five, he's going to
score twenty points in that game, making spot up shots,
(49:22):
running the floor for Lebron like they got more players
like this with the defensive potential that they have, then
you I'm looking at I'm looking at Golden State. I
don't see the defensive potential. They got to outscore teams, right,
They gotta get hot and run off. Klay Thompson played
phenomenal before the All Star break, two good games. They
(49:42):
moved to the bench. They figure they can get him
in there to finish and do some things. But I
don't see them being we Gotta remember Klay Thompson was
in the talks of being like first second team All Defense.
When they was making a run like that, he was
the guy.
Speaker 2 (49:59):
I'm looking at the Kings. They got cheerleaders out here
looking thick. What is this West Finals? Who you got
my West Finals?
Speaker 1 (50:09):
Oh damn.
Speaker 2 (50:10):
I think it's gonna be Denver and Clippers.
Speaker 3 (50:14):
Where the Clippers at right now? Where would they finish?
Speaker 2 (50:17):
See Clippers right now?
Speaker 1 (50:19):
See. The thing that makes it tricky is that.
Speaker 2 (50:23):
Clippers is third.
Speaker 3 (50:24):
So they can't be a Denver clip.
Speaker 1 (50:26):
I think four. See. I think Denver gonna work its
way up right, So I think Denver gonna finish stronger
than they put forth. The first part of the season.
They're gonna finish. Murray had some injuries. They got through
that first seaton.
Speaker 2 (50:40):
Who you got Clippers Finals.
Speaker 1 (50:42):
Because I got I got, I got Denver and Clippers
gonna meet up in the semis. So that's what about
Western Finals, the Western Finals. I got Minnesota and Denver.
Speaker 2 (50:52):
That's a good one.
Speaker 3 (50:53):
I got Minnesota, Minnesota.
Speaker 2 (50:55):
I think Denver gonna find this way to go up
and to make them work. They wait the number two see.
Speaker 1 (51:00):
And I think Clippers gonna be there.
Speaker 2 (51:02):
I think Clippers is gonna stay around two. I mean
Clippers gonna stay around three and four. And I think
they're gonna see each other finals, Conference Finals, Denver clips Denver.
So no Minnesota, no, okay, see, no Phoenix, no Lakes,
no dollars.
Speaker 1 (51:21):
Damn.
Speaker 2 (51:22):
We're seeing the shift. The shift is happening right before
our eyes.
Speaker 1 (51:26):
Yeah, the whole NBA. But this is what I like
that with the Knicks. The Knicks is giving us something
to talk about them. No, if not about these teams winning.
Right when you got Minnesota and okay, see at the
top of the standings, that's a shift.
Speaker 3 (51:41):
Yeah, you're not talking.
Speaker 1 (51:42):
You didn't mention neither one of those teams that your
teams can get to the finals. Clear clearly you're gonna
have to go through.
Speaker 2 (51:48):
I think you need a second superstar.
Speaker 1 (51:49):
So no, I'm not arguing that, but I'm saying, but
when when you have these type of teams, these teams
are gonna break somebody hard, right that they are monkey wrench.
They're positioning them else for the postseason to be in
position to do something. So if you, if you, if you.
Speaker 3 (52:07):
These other teams, you the Clippers, you run into Dallas.
Speaker 1 (52:10):
Luca, Luca is like who is Luca like? To the Clippers,
it's like Freddy, like Freddy Krueger. They don't want to
see They don't want to see Luca.
Speaker 2 (52:23):
Walking in there. It's a different Clipper team. It's hard
that playoff coming at you, he coming, confident, he coming.
Speaker 1 (52:32):
The Clippers do not want to see that.
Speaker 2 (52:35):
All right, we don't see that.
Speaker 3 (52:37):
That's what I'm saying. The way because about East, because.
Speaker 1 (52:41):
Celtics, the Celtics are an optimal position Celtics.
Speaker 2 (52:48):
I got Celtics Cleveland in the East.
Speaker 1 (52:51):
That'll be good to see. But that's what I mean.
I got the Celtics going to the finals. I don't
know what's going to happen. You can pick a but
you didn't say this Sixers.
Speaker 2 (53:01):
Nah, I don't got no faith because I even though
if joelan b come back, he gonna be sore, his
knee gonna be sore, but he gonna do it by hisself.
He gotta.
Speaker 1 (53:10):
Who is they starting power forward? Who are the three?
Speaker 2 (53:15):
Who's the three for? Who the sixth?
Speaker 1 (53:20):
Exactly? Who's gonna first? Who they played for? Like exactly?
Speaker 3 (53:24):
They don't have the team.
Speaker 2 (53:26):
Like okay, who brays the two the tune Maxie Tobias. Yeah,
they gotta solid squad, but he hell, oh yeah, they
gotta start. They got deep. Yeah, oh yeah they solid.
Speaker 1 (53:42):
It ain't gonna cut it, brother, you were just saying.
Speaker 2 (53:44):
They got athletes. We was watching the game and you
say they got athletes.
Speaker 1 (53:48):
At you did say that he did. That's why they
blew him out all right? Without Randall there that's my
team right there, that's my dark horse. I'm going with
the I'm jumping on the next band wagon. I mean,
I know you Dodnet have your days in MSG.
Speaker 2 (54:03):
We need to get you some more truth sum because
this is a lie. Remember you got nixt Remember.
Speaker 1 (54:11):
I said that all right, I'm gonna jump on that
bandwagon early before everybody else. Do you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (54:17):
All right?
Speaker 2 (54:17):
So I got some bad Yeah, now you have it.
