Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the upside with Jordan a dose of good news,
because it's a big world out there. For many of
us in the Northeast, ice hockey is a basic fact
of life. That's certainly true also in Minnesota, where we
have the story of a young hockey player not letting
an injury change his life the way it was supposed to.
Jackson Drum has defied the odds of a spinal cord
injury suffered while playing and is currently regaining capacities typically

(00:22):
lost forever under such circumstances. According to his mother, Erica,
the chances of him coming back and doing this are
one in a trillion, and the mom says when they
told him he was paralyzed in Canada, he said, quote,
I am not going to be paralyzed. The young man
took on a nine month rehab program that saw him
free himself from the ventilator, the feeding tube, and eventually

(00:43):
he discovered movement in his legs, and after so many
months away from the ice, met up with his coach
and shared the locker room with teammates, all of whom
were delighted to see him. Jackson hopes to one day
strap on the skates again. As he continues to defy
the odds. And that's the upside with Jordan WZ Boston's

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
