Welcome to the upside with Jordan, the dose of good news,
because it's a big world out there. So many folks
in this lifetime take what we have for granted. Certainly
when it comes to technology. I suppose you could say
that about any era, but it's especially true today. Back
in the good old days the twentieth century, would celebrate
those who made the big difference in our lives, from
Albert Einstein to Alexander Graham Bell, Madame Curie, Thomas Edison.

Certainly Steve Jobs revolutionized the way we communicate. But I
wanted to take a moment to just stop and thank
one gentleman, Sir Tim berners Lee, for doing something that
the Queen of England recognized in two thousand and four
and the British Council named his invention the number one
moment that shaped the world. What was that invention? Well,
it's something that just about everybody on the planet knows

of and uses every single day. He's the guy who
deserves the most credit for developing the World Wide Web,
a project that combined hypertext and the Internet. In my mind,
he's right up there with the giants of invention. And
