Speaker 1 (00:02):
Welcome. This is the Upside with Jordan a dose of
good news because it's a big world out there. Well,
this story went viral and it has all the makings
of a disaster movie with a happy ending, thanks to
a Kansas City couple who swung into action to help
a young girl stay safe during a roller coaster scare
at a place called Worlds of Fun. The couple, Chris
and Cassie Evans, were riding on the Mamba, the tallest

(00:23):
and fastest coaster in the park, when they heard blood
curdling screams from the seat right behind them. They looked
back to see the little girl's restraint had come completely unlatched,
Chris saying there was a big gap between her and
the lap bar, so he looped his arm underneath it
grabbed the little girl's wrist while his wife pushed down
on her legs. The couple literally held on tight for
the rest of the two hundred foot seventy two mile

(00:44):
per hour ride. The girl and those around her were terrified,
but the Evans promised they'd make it through to safety,
and they certainly did, coming to a stop without injury,
and the Evans, who have season passes to the Park
said they love it, but they're taking a break for
a while, and that's the upside. With Jordan WZ Boston's

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
