Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the Upside with Jordan, a dose of good news,
because it's a big world out there, and unless you're
living under a rock, you know that Next year, twenty
twenty six is a big anniversary for our country, two
hundred and fifty years since the first independence Day back
in seventeen seventy six. And we may be saying the
quiet part out loud right now, but it's worth noting
that our fair city of Boston, the hub of the universe,

(00:22):
is going to be a happening place, so much so
that Conde Nash Traveler has named Boston on its list
of the best places to go in North America in
twenty twenty six. There are so many reasons, all of
them related to the history of our fair city. There's
the US Constitution, the Freedom Trail, the Fourth of July
spectacular on the Esplanade with a variety of hotels at
various price points, great places to eat, and tour packages galore,

(00:46):
not to mention sale Boston, and World Cup Soccer, which
organizers are calling the single largest sporting event ever. Here's
to Beantown in twenty twenty six. And that's the upside
with Jordan. WZ Boston's news radio

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
