Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the Upside with Jordan the dose of good news,
because it's a big world out there, and it's a
big bridge that many of us travel over every single day,
The Leonard P. Zacom Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge, honoring the
legacy of American patriots and a man named LENNI Zacom,
a civil rights icon. Lenny was an activist whose son,
Josh says, was constantly building relationships among individuals. I had

(00:21):
the chance to meet and interview him several times, and
after Lenny was diagnosed with cancer, the Lenny Zacom Fund
was founded, ensuring that Lenny's commitment to supporting social, economic,
and racial justice would continue on and indeed it has. Recently,
the Lenny Zacom Fund celebrated thirty years and over that
time has offered grants to about four hundred nonprofit organizations.
The full story and how you can get involved can

(00:43):
be found at the Lenny Zacomfund dot org. The beautiful Bridge,
an everlasting part of the Boston Skyline, continues to serve
as a symbol of social justice and the fundamental rights
and dignity of all people. Just what Lenny Zacom fought for,
and that's the upside with Jordan WZ Boston's news radio

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
