Welcome to the Upside with Jordan a dose of good news,
because it's a big world out there. The story comes
to us from Pittsburgh, where a young father named Nathaniel
Bunn witnessed something horrific, a car flipping onto its roof.
Nathaniel instinctively jumped out of his vehicle and went to
see if he could help. He and other civilians before
the EMTs arrived, tried desperately to pry open the door

(00:21):
and get the woman, who was seemingly unconscious out of
the car to safety. No matter how hard they tried,
they couldn't open the doors. So, as Nathaniel says, quote,
I resigned to sit down and just told her to
hold my hand. The driver, who couldn't speak, did reach
out and indeed held on squeezing his hand for comfort.
He recalled. He reassured her over and over that everything's
going to be okay. We cannot get the door open,

but just hang on. Help is on the way. She
was ultimately freed and taken to the hospital, where Nathaniel
believes she's on the road to recovery. There's a lot
of power in compassion. Sometimes you extend a hand and
sometimes you need someone to hold yours, and that's the
