Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome. This is the upside with Jordan, a dose of
good news. Because it's a big world out there. We're
all familiar with the Ironman World Championship triathlons, usually held
in Hawaii. Well, recently, an unusual participant from the state
of New Jersey did something pretty special in this event.
Her name is Natalie Grabau, and she's living proof that
it's never too late to get started. Now. She happens

(00:21):
to be an eighty year old grandmother. She never learned
to swim until she was nearly sixty and participated in
the triathlon, swimming two and a half miles. And because
it's a triathlon, she put one hundred and twelve miles
on a bicycle and then ran a twenty six point
two mile marathon. Right after that. She outpaced about sixty
others before they finished, and you guessed it, all of
them were younger. She began running in her middle years,

(00:43):
but in her fifty she still didn't know how to swim.
She took lessons, worked hard, and completed an amazing feat
And yes, she signed up for iron Man twenty twenty six.
And that's the upside with Jordan. WBZ, Boston's News Radio

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
