Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the Upside with Jordan a dose of good news.
Because it's a big world out there. For those of
you who are into gardening, you'll understand the impact of
this story originally reported on by our own Carl Stevens
here at WBZ, it involves the Johnson Elementary School in
the Haunt, which received an anonymous donation to help build
a greenhouse at the school. The idea was floated by

(00:20):
Rob Liebo, the superintendent of Nahant's Schools, saying, quote, people
who may not have enough to eat are going to
have a chance to get some fresh produce, and at
the same time, the kids are going to learn at
an early age about giving back and taking care of
those people who are in need. So this year and
after school gardening program is in place that's teaching the
kids to develop their own green thumbs while sharing the

values of community and of helping out others who may
be less fortunate. The students will be donating some of
what they grow to the local food bank, and they're
learning a thing or two about gardening, nature and growing sustainable,
healthy food. All in all, we hope the seed of
this idea takes root in other communities and that's the
upside With Jordan WBZ, Boston's news radio

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
