Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hello, and welcome to the Upside with Jordan a dose
of good news, because it's a big world out there.
For those of you who have been to the Coolidge
Corner Theater, it is certainly an institution, a place where
a quarter of a million movie lovers see films of
the independent theatre's six screens each and every year. I
wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate a lady who's
done a lot for the theater in the last twelve
years in her role as the Coolidge Corner Theater Executive

(00:23):
director and CEO. That lady's name is Catherine Talma, who'll
be stepping down next year after a very successful run.
The theater has been recently renovated, is doing well financially
and has lots of support from the community. As Mims
Tauman told Brookline News quote, I've loved this place since
I moved here almost forty years ago. I can't tell
you how many people say to me, I came here
as a kid, and now I bring my grandkids here.

(00:45):
Catherine has seen the theater reach national acclaim. The Coolidge
is healthy and thriving, and the screens continue to bring
us the magic. Congratulations Catherine Tallman, and that's the upside
with Jordan wz Boston's news radio

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
