Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome to the Upside with Jordan a dose of good news.
Because it's a big world out there. I wanted to
take this opportunity to mention Berkeley College of Music and
their trailblazing Music Inclusion Ensemble debuting at Berkeley Performance Center
in a free concert open to all Saturday, April twelfth,
seven pm at the Berkeley Performance Center, with a cast
of sixteen disabled musicians from various programs coming together to

(00:24):
perform everything from Beethoven's classics to covers of popular songs,
including music from Coldplay, Carl Ray Jepson, and One Republic.
One of the Ensembles co founders is Adrian Anantawan, an
Associate professor of violin at Berkeley who has performed at
the White House for the Pope and the Dali Lama.
He says, quote, it is an honor to have the
opportunity to perform with these incredible musicians at the Berkeley

(00:46):
Performance Center and to showcase the artistic achievements of the
members of the Music Inclusion Ensemble and the larger community.
