The Van Cast

Van has lived in the East Alabama area for almost 20 years. He can be heard all over East Alabama on 97.7 Kicker FM, South 106.1 and 100.9 The Bull. He also loves sports! He spent over 6 years as a play-by-play announcer for Auburn University Baseball and currently is the Voice of Opelika High School Football. Van is a four time ABBY winner for Sportscaster of the Year and was also awarded the Merit Award for Personality of the Year in 2019 by the Alabama Broadcasters Association. Tune in each week as he talks kids, sports, local news/events, and visits with various guests that drop by the station.
