Speaker 1 (00:01):
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tith On. Good morning, Happy Friday.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
A little bit more on the cloudy side today, and
pretty much no rain.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
I thought we were going to get some remnants of
the hurricane. It doesn't look like that.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
And then some scattered clouds, partly cloudy by Sunday, and
just mix of fall weather this weekend, temperatures in the
seventies and lower eighties. Let's start off with our game
against the Chiefs. Whoo, I'm really really looking for.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Some redemption this weekend.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Jamar Chase was asked about the rivalry in, you know,
between our two teams, and here's what he said.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Everybody knows that it's not it's not no.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
If you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
We are the team to be in ALC and we
know it, and we got to act like it and
we gotta play like it too. Oh yeah, the energy
is there both sides. I'm sure they know we don't
like them. They know they don't don't they don't like us, So,
I mean, Dan's already already. There is not really much
we got to say now to this point. It's been
four years now, so everyone gets it.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
The turpin and the talkin Does that make it more
fun for.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
You in the game.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Yeah, you know what I'm saying. When the media come,
y'all just blow it up and then make some stuff
out of it. But I'll just wait for the game
come out.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
All right.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Courtesy of Channel Line for the video. I liked how
Jamar and Chase said, you know, the media typically blows
things up and we try to stay focused. Is essentially
what I got out of that. And that's really what
I'm hoping for this weekend. Like, we really really need
a good game.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
I've got some wise words for that Cincinnati matter. No,
your role is shut your mouth.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
We really need it.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
We really need we need Joe Burrow to show up.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
We need everyone to just show up. Please please, please please.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
I put up a poll on social media. There are
kiss account on whether or not Taylor is going to
be there.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
I think so.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
I mean, she's pretty much at every Travis game these days,
and of course, coming off of the VM I played
that audio all day yesterday. I think she'll be there.
Like a lot of guys will be watching the two
of us this weekend because we've got that four twenty
five game and Bengals fans like please, like, we just
need to put good juju out there, please please please?
All right, Second, and three things you need to know

(02:15):
this morning kind of in vain with football. Let's talk
about the halftime show now. Well, I'll let me just
play the audio first and then I'll talk about it
a little. Wayne I was surprised about this, but he
went on Instagram Live and talked about how sad he
was at not being chosen for the New Orleans Bowl.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
That hurt a lot, you know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
I hurt a whole lot.

Speaker 5 (02:38):
I blame myself for not being mentally prepared for a letdown,
just automatically mentally putting myself in that position, like somebody
told me that was my position.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
So I blame myself for that.

Speaker 5 (02:52):
But I thought that was nothing, you know, I thought
that was nothing em bettered in that best spot, in
that stage, in that platform.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
I don't think because you're from the city, you automatically
get the bid to be the performer. And Lil Wayne
I wouldn't consider him a new rapper. So I don't
know if it's because not long ago. Actually it was
when our Bengals were in the Super Bowl. They kind
of went with like a throwback theme that year, So
I don't know if they're like, we kind of already done,

(03:21):
we did that, We're not. We're gonna go with like
more of a new era, which I get. There is
no bigger rapper in the game right now than Kendrick Lamar,
and he does have hits, of course I play them.
When the announcement was made, I am just curious to
see how everyone reacts to the show. I think he'll
most certainly put on a good show, but usually halftime

(03:42):
performers have to have a catalog that reaches enough people
that you know more than like three songs, you know
what I'm saying. All right, Lastly, in three Things you
Need to Know this morning, it's new music Friday. Let's
talk about the newest one from Shawn Mendez.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
We saw him at the VMAs.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
He's got a new one out called No One Knows
or Nobody Knows rather. This is probably the third new
song he's released in the last month or so.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Here it is it.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
Ghost.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
I feel like he's just kind of graduated from that
poppy Shawn Mendez that we knew, and he's transitioning into
a new era, and you know who did that, Harry Styles, Right,
he went from being in the boy band who putting
on a few kind of miss singles that did all right,
didn't do well on radio, but then eventually became the
biggest artist in the pop world for it, I mean
still is, but for two solid years with two big albums,

(04:52):
So who knows, Maybe Shawn Mendez will follow a similar track.
I want to play a quick one from the weekend,
just to give you a little taste. This is called
Dancing and Flames.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
Wait to see you fadays.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
I like, if you haven't heard it in full, have
that for you coming up around nine oh five for
New Music.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Friday on Kissuano seven.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
One.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
The best way to keep listening is on my h radium.
Good Morning
