of the Reds clubhouse last night, firing manager David Bell
with five games to go.

Of course, they closed out their homestand this weekend with
the Nelly Concert, et cetera, and they gave David Bell
the ax. This after missing the postseason for its tenth
consecutive full season, unless you're counting whatever happened in the

morning that the Reds haven't completed a series in the
post game in like twenty nine years, which is the
longest in any major league sport ever. Started off with
a promising season with Ellie de la Cruz and a
Hunter Green, et cetera, and you know, we just really

weren't able to get it done. They're going to host
a press conference around eleven o'clock this afternoon with some
more insight. The rumor is that maybe Hall of Famers
shortstop but Mary Larkin could take his place.
