Speaker 1 (00:01):
Glynn.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
You need to know she's got you.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
It's three things with TIF on Good Morning. Yes, we
will talk about Jordan and Bill Belichick here in a
hot second. We're just before seven o'clock on the twenty
first of May. What do you want to know about
the weather? Sixty one degrees high's in the sixties today,
scattered shower alow in the forties tonight. And then I
refuse to check any further in advance because I'm just praying.

(00:28):
I don't know that it gets better for Memorial Day weekend. Okay,
before we get to Jordan and Bill, let's start off
with Joe Burrow and the second phase of Bengals preseason workouts. Yesterday,
he was asked, of course, about last year where his
head is at this year.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
If I go out there and play better than I
did last year, then it doesn't matter what goes on
everywhere else.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
He also was asked about Baltimore and potentially overseas games.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
You know, playing in Baltimore for the fourth straight prime
time year isn't ideal. Maybe we could get one of
those in Cincinnati next year. Please? Maybe an international game
next year too. I think part of the reason I
wanted to do the Quarterback Show. I wanted to help
grow the game internationally, and so to not have a
stage like that is a little disappointing. Consciously worked hard

(01:19):
to try to grow the game internationally over the last
eighteen months or so, so hopefully at some point in
my career we can go over there.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
There was something about that insight that I just I
liked Joe Burrow's take on that. And we don't get
a lot into his personal life, of course, and you know,
even sometimes his brain professionally, but I liked that. Do
I like the fact that we are going to Baltimore?
Do I like the fact that Do I like the
fact that we're playing on Thanksgiving? Yes? Do I like
that we have these like primetime games that we're going

(01:48):
back to Baltimore exactly? He also talked about playing in
the Olympics. I'm going to save that for our next hours.
Three things, all right, second, and three things you need
to know this morning. Rest in peace to norm now,
iconically known from his role in Cheers. Close to my
heart obviously, because I've walked by and gone into the

(02:10):
Cheers bar many times, of course, being a Bostonian originally,
so I know this show. Maybe there's a chance that
you don't. But what's interesting about the passing of Norm
his Norm? His real life name is George Went thirty
two years ago. Today or yesterday rather was the season
finale of Cheers, and that is the same day that

(02:31):
he died. How serendipitous. Eighty point four million people tuned
in to watch the final episode of Cheers. To this day,
it is the second most watched sitcom finale ever, mashed
being the first at the seventh most watched non sporting
event of all time. Here's a quick clip of the
scene anti climactic. Here it is.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
I knew you'd come back? Who did?

Speaker 1 (02:59):
You can never be unfaithful to your one true love.
You always come back to her?

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Who is that?

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Think about? Exam just a moment Iconic. His family said
George was a doting family man, a well loved friend,
and gain confidant to all of those lucky enough to
have known him. He earned six straight Emmy Award nominations
for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series from nineteen
eighty four to nineteen eighty nine. You'll also recognize his
face from Elf and Hairspring all right and then Iconic

(03:34):
SNL moments as well. Lastly, in Three Things You Need
to Know, the rumors about Bill Belichick and Jordan Hudson
hit yesterday and to me surprising, first came out by
page six, which I was kind of like, eh, then TMC,
then Barstool picked it up. She was seen, I guess,
apparently wearing a diamond ring at an event a couple

(03:55):
of months ago, and told at least one person that
her and Bill were engaged. In New New York Times
is posting about this. She is twenty four, he is
seventy three. The whole thing a shock to me. Not
because I don't think that maybe you know that they're
in love. I'm not in their group text, I don't know,
but just the idea of getting married at the age
of twenty four is what really is hitting me on
this one. I just can't get bast it, knowing what

(04:18):
I know now at the age of thirty five. All right,
that is three Things you need to Know for the
twenty first of May. Coming up at seven o five,
we're commercial free. Good morning,
