Speaker 1 (00:01):
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with Tip.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
We're going to talk Beyonce's Cowboy Carter tour here in
just a hot second. Good morning. We're just before seven
o'clock on this twenty ninth of April, just a few
days left in the month, and we're going to see
some potential severe weather moving in later on today.
Speaker 1 (00:22):
Whatever we had.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Yesterday and what we're experiencing this morning not going to
be the case for this afternoon. I'll have more on
that maybe later on the show, but keep your eyes
on it for the ride home. Also, whether for Flying
Pig weekend might be a little on the cooler side. Okay,
And before we get to Beyonce, let's start off with
Pete Rose. You know, there's been chitter chattering rumors on
whether or not he is going to be able to
(00:45):
have eligibility to get into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
As of right now, it's a no go banned from that.
I'm learning things about Pete Rose as I get more
acclimated here in Cincinnati. I had no idea that the
man spent time behind bars and federal prison for tax evasion,
not gambling, not reporting some of the winnings on the gambling.
But nonetheless, Pete Rose's lawyer did have some FaceTime with
(01:09):
President Donald Trump not long ago, and it did come
up about Pete Rose. I mean, he was there for
other things, but you know, Pete Rose. Donald Trump went
on to you know, tweet about how Pete Rose is,
you know, the hit king, one of the best of
all time, et.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
Cetera, and should be eligible. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
We might we might have some information from Pete Rose's
lawyer in the coming weeks we as to whether or
not he is going to be eligible for the Hall
of Fame. At one point, if the eligibility restrictions are
lifted on him, it would take quite a bit of
time for him to get in.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
People would have to vote, et cetera.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
But you know, it'd be nice to celebrate the guy
that was so known and well loved here in Sincy.
By the way, Pete Rose Knight just shy of two
weeks away a great American ballpark on the fourteenth. All right, Second,
in three things you need to know this morning, The
Conclave is going to start May seventh.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
For those that don't know what the.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Conclave is, I too, am getting acclimated with it. The
Catholic Church cardinals will decide who will be our next
pope over a hundred or a part of the election process.
White smoke will go off if they figured it out.
Black smoke will go off if they can't figure it out.
But one of the rules that I had noticed in
my research is that the pope has to be above sorry,
(02:22):
cannot be above eighty years old to be in the
running for this, which I honestly sounds like a no
brainerd timme when there's more.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
On that one, I'll have it for you.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
And then, lastly, in three Things you need to Know,
let's chit chat about a cowboy Carter. The tour officially
kicked off in La last night with thirty nine songs.
If you're going to this tour, the closest date to
us is most likely Chicago. I went on and looked
the other day because I was curious, and I saw
some tickets were available for like one hundred and forty dollars.
(02:54):
You know, I think that the big headline when you
search Beyonce's tours of this Morning is that it is
not selling out. And you'll see various videos on the
internet and some of them are conflicting. Some look as
if the stadium is completely empty.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Now.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
I can't tell if that's just because the show hasn't
quite started yet, or if that's just people having a
really hard time getting tickets. As far as pricing goes,
I think that that's the common complaint about a lot
of tours right now, but specifically with Beyonce, that merch
is wicked expensive and tickets are wicked expensive.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
Like I said, I went on and looked the other day.
The ones in Chicago weren't that bad. I'm didn't put
a lot of research and effort into it.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
As far as the set list goes, this is all
Cowboy Carter with a few Renaissance songs sprinkled in and
a few of the bangers. But if you didn't love
this last two part album from Beyonce, I don't know
if this is going to be the tour for you.
Some highlights, some Blue Ivy killing it. She definitely has
(03:56):
grown as a performer. When she first started out with
Mom during Renaissance ACKed One tour, I mean it was
like a little like on the you know, she was young, right,
she was becoming a new dancer. Now totally fits in
the other special moment is that little Roomy, one of
the twins came out with her and sat down while
mom was singing the song Protector, and she just looked
(04:17):
so happy and excited to be there. Anytime I see
a video of Roomy, she looks just very thrilled and
happy to be outside.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
Here's Beyonce closing the show so much through the companies,
You're like, I'll tell you my mom, You'll have to
let me know if you're going to the Chicago show.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
That is three things you need to know for the
twenty ninth of April, Happy Tuesday. The best way to
keep listening to TIF in the morning is by searching
Kiss one oh seven one on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
And if you can give me a few minutes of.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Your time, we were talking a lot about graduation this hour,
with coming up in the next couple of weeks or so.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
My brother.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Called me the other day and told me that he
was going to start homeschooling his kids. We'll get to
the conversation around seven ten if you can give me
some time. But if you have any homeschooling experience, talk
back with Tiff on that same iHeart radio app. To
get a jump on the conversation, I'm going to pick
your brain on it. Microphone is in the top right
hand corner of the iHeart Radio app.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
Good morning,
