Speaker 1 (00:01):
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tip on Kish seven.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Did you go see any movies this weekend?

Speaker 1 (00:12):
We'll get to that in a second. Good morning. We're
just before nine o'clock. Hey, nine oh five, first.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Chance of the day to pick up one thousand.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Bucks, So don't go far.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Before we get to the movies, Let's start off with
Billy Joel. At this point, there's a very good chance
that you've already heard the news, but since it was
a holiday weekend, I figured it'd be worth revisiting that
Billy Joel has canceled all of his concerts for this summer,
including the one that was scheduled for pay Course Stadium,
due to the fact that he has a brain condition
called normal pressure hydrocephalus, which is, according to Google, a

(00:49):
condition where excess fluid builds up in the brain, causing
symptoms like gait disturbances, cognitive decline, bladder control issues, but
without significant increased pressure in the skull.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
The same question treatable yes or no?

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Symptoms can often improve with surgical insertion of a shunt.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
It is a treatable condition. Phew, Okay, Because I was like,
is this the end of the van man. I'm like,
what's going on here? His wife said, thank you for
all the support and such.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
I'm curious to see if pay Corps will scramble to
add another show to their summer lineup, since there typically
is one big one a year.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Who would it be? I would die? Let's take bets.
Who would you want it to be? Ah?

Speaker 2 (01:35):
I could see like a Kendrick and a Sissa adding
a date close to us or something, because that's that
show is doing really well, and they don't.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
There's none around us.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
We'll see. Second, and that's just me, you know, dreaming. Second,
And three things you need to know this morning, Let's
talk about the box office. Leelo and Stitch one this weekend,
which I kind of found surprising had I thought it
might have been. Mission Impossible pulled three hundred and twenty
five million million, which makes it the largest four day
weekend number, which is the largest ever. Sorry my brain

(02:09):
was short circuiting. Did you get you know we're all
coming back from the holiday weekend. Tom Cruise came in
second with seventy seven million, giving it the best opening
weekend in the Mission Impossible series, and then Final Destination
came in third place. I chose for timing purposes last
night to go see Final Destination and.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
That was just chaotic and unhinged.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Definitely brings me back to my childhood though, and it
definitely has you thinking about death in weird ways. But
it was a typical Final Destination series movie. But you'll
have to let me know if you saw Lelo or
if you saw Mission Impossible, because those look really big.
And by the way, all the Mission Impossibles are on
Hulu right now if you want to catch up on

(02:51):
one through seven hundred. Lastly, in three Things you need
to Know this morning, we've been talking about this Miley
Cyrus album.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
You know, she's getting ready to release.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
I think it's her seventh or eighth studio album this
coming Friday, just a couple of days from now. Miley
is on her way to save Summer, and while filming
the movie for it, she was injured and gave and
got this like massive infection.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Here's a c I had a pretty good budget, but
I spent it all on my clothes.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
So then when it came time.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
To go to the Walk of Fame, they're like, so
what are you gonna do? Are you gonna rent this
thing or what because that's really out of your price
rame like, no, let's go in the middle of the night.
Have you been to the Walk of Fame in the
middle of the night?

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Are my last day? That was not the clip I
thought it was gonna be. Here's the clip. I thought
it was gonna be.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Just have a surgeon look at you and say yuck,
Like do they open up like cadavers? Like they see
inside the guts of humans? And they're looking at me
telling me I'm discussing.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Apparently she went and filmed on the Hollywood Walk of
Fame to save budget money, and that's where she picked
up the infection. I remember speaking of movies. That album
is a visual album set to come to theaters. I'm
gonna do some re search to see if we can
go watch it in Cincinnati.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
I would go. I liked the idea of the concert film.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Okay, that is three things you need to know for
the twenty seventh of May. The best way to keep
listening to TIF in the morning is by searching Kiss
one oh seven.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
One on iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
We're gonna talk about solo travel coming up around nine
twenty ish this morning.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Are you inspired or curious about solo travel.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
I'm getting ready to go on my very first solo
European trip to Ireland in a couple of weeks, so
i've got the one thing you need to know about that.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
I too, am learning from all of this as well,
so we'll get to that next. Don't go far. Good morning,
