Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, hun, kiss,
good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
What advice would you give your younger self? Think about
that and then tell me what it is. Talk back
with Tiff on the iHeartRadio app to get in while
I'm talking. The microphone's in the top right hand quinner Bobby,
who's our social media producer.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
This Friday, my Parties Friday. I turned thirty on Monday.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Okay, so this coming Monday, you cross over from twenty
nine to thirty.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Yes, and how are you feeling about that?

Speaker 3 (00:31):
I'm feeling very excited. It's been I did my twenties.
That's what I keep telling people, like, I lived my twenties.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
I did it.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
I'm ready to grow up a little bit. It's been
a rough year in general for me in my personal life,
so I'm ready. I'm really taking this opportunity to make
it an intentional turn of the leaf, new chapter. So yeah,
I'm hopeful for the future. There's a big question mark
in front of me of like what do I want?

Speaker 1 (01:00):
I want to do? But that can be very exciting
as well. Yeah, I'm feeling good.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
He had asked me, you know, what advice would you
give me? And I had to think about it for
a little while, and I had said when I was
turning thirty, I feel like I wasn't in the best
place mentally. I had just moved to Cincy, so I
was still building community at the time. My boyfriend lived
in Boston, so I missed him, so I didn't really
start celebrating until thirty five. And looking back in the

(01:29):
last five years, the one thing that I've done that
I think has set me a part in my life
is figure out what my values are. Yes, And it
took me going through something hard like that breakup with
that boyfriend and changing and really committing to living here
and leaning into the show and all of the unknown.
It took all of that for me to kind of

(01:50):
learn that lesson, and there was so much to be
learned during that four ish three ish year period totally.
So I think I'm just on a lot more solid
ground in my personal life by knowing what my values are,
what my needs are, what my strengths are, so that
as I move through the life, you know, I am
on just more solid grounds.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
So that would be my advice. That is great advice.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
I also feel like after rough periods of my life,
what comes after are always the greatest parts of my life.
That's once you work through something and you grow and
you learn from it and like things really change you.
What happens next is the celebration.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
We call those life quakes on my show. When you
go through a life quake, yes, you come out on
the other side. And if you put the work and
you put the time in and you have the understanding
of yourself, that's the reward. That's your bill. We call
them going I call them building blueprints. When you build
the bluep you're just building a new blueprint for everything
that you go through in your life, and you can.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Refer back to it totally. So here's what I want
to do.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
That was my piece, my two cents, But I'm not
the only one involved. On TIF in the Morning five
one three, seven, four nine, one oh seven one, what
advice would you get good morning? You're waking up with
TIF in the Morning on a kiss one oh seven
to one. We're just a few minutes out from your
chance to win tickets to Trans Siberian Orchestra.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
You will need the key word thirty.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
They haven't gone on sale yet, so I'm getting it
in before you can even buy them in the pre sale. Bobby,
who's our social media manager, walked in and said, Tiff,
I'm turning thirty this weekend.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
What advice do you have for me?

Speaker 2 (03:22):
And I said, you know who would do really well
with answering this question, our our Tiff in the morning community.
So we'll start with you. Good morning.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
Hi.

Speaker 5 (03:33):
Hi for Bobby. Hi, Absolutely get a primary care provider
if you don't have one already. I do, take care
of yourself. Schedule appointment, keep up with your appointments because
you're thirty. Bub it goes downhill from him, straight tailing Bob.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Oh, Wow, that is great advice. Thank you. I hope
it's not all doubt. What's your name? What neighborhood are
you waking up with?

Speaker 4 (03:58):
Me?

Speaker 5 (03:59):
Emily's for it.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Thanks for the call, Gallo, it's good to hear your voice.
One good morning, go ahead, good morning.

Speaker 6 (04:05):
Boundaries.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
We don't have a fit. Get one.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
Everybody deserves somebody to talk to that is unbiased.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
I love life. I agree, I love that and find.

Speaker 5 (04:19):
You like I feel like twenties are quantity of friends
and not quality, and I feel like thirty turns into
quality and it's just quality of light. I like it
and my thirties were much better than my twenties.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Well that makes me hopeful and excited.

Speaker 5 (04:36):
Thank you, you're quite welcome.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
What's your name? My neighborhood? You waking up with me and.

Speaker 5 (04:40):
Girl Heather Independent?

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Thanks for the call. I appreciated her.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Emily said, it's all down here, yo, grow up, said,
get a doctor think.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
I was like, I was advice though, no, really, you
got to have.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
A realist in the group. Let's check our talkback since
we haven't gotten over there yet.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Good morning, Tiff. I would tell my younger self. I
think that women are often told that we need to
climb the ladder right and reach back and all of
those things.

Speaker 5 (05:13):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
I think that I would tell my younger self that
being a leader is not always a job title, and
that you don't necessarily need to climb the ladder if
it doesn't actually make you happy.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Oh that was good.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
We've got some good advice for sure. How are you
feeling after this?

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Amazing?

Speaker 3 (05:30):
And I want to shout out Eric Therapy. I love
him all right?

Speaker 1 (05:35):
Collar ten.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
If you've got the keyword, hopefully you picked up on
what it was based off of these conversations.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
You want to go to Trans Siberian Orchestra.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
If I've went three, seven, four nine, one O seven one,
Good luck.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
You're waking up with Sif in the morning on kiss
one O seven one.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Good morning, Good morning. I'm hoping you have a keyword
for me.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
Hi, keyword thirty.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Congratulations you're going to Trans Siberian Orchestra.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Thank you.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
You're so welcome. What's your name? What neighborhood are you
waking up with me?

Speaker 6 (06:04):
And today my name is Katie and I'm waking up
in park Hill, Katie.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Thank you for listening to Tiff in the morning.

Speaker 5 (06:10):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
We were just cheating every morning. Oh, I appreciate that.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
So we're just chit chatting about giving advice to your
younger self.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Bobby is turning thirty.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
He's our social media manager, and he had asked me, hey,
you know what, what advice do you have for me? And
I said, you know what, I bet you would have
good advice, So what's yours?

Speaker 5 (06:26):
Don't compare yourself to others?

Speaker 3 (06:28):
That's a great one. I do that too often. Who doesn't, right,
It's hard not to.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Yeah, well, thank you, I appreciate you calling me. You know,
I had just looked over at our talkbacks and they've
started flooding in at this point. Yeah, so let's play
at least one or two more and maybe you'll get
something out of this too.

Speaker 6 (06:50):
Hey, Tiff, If I was going to give Bobby some advice,
it would be to plan for retirement now. As much
as you love your job, you are not going to
want to do this forever, and you will want to
take a break and travel and do all the things
when you have a little bit more money because you've.

Speaker 5 (07:12):
Worked so hard.

Speaker 6 (07:13):
So plan for retirement now.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
I would love to retire right now.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
You don't want to be on my show for the
rest of your life. No, that was really great advice.
Having a financial advisor somebody to teach you that teach
you financial literacy or legal literacy in the last in
the next couple of years was super helpful for me
when I was turning from my younger thirties into my
mid thirties. I spent a lot of time figuring that out.
So I agree, we've got time for at least one more.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
If you think he's the love of your life, he's not. Period.

Speaker 5 (07:50):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Oh, that's the advice.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
That's it.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
Well, I feel like she's going through something and how
did she know?

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Yeah, that's you know, what if you
