Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up, there's fifth in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Well, this topic has me emotional and if we're connected
on social you'll notice that something major is missing from
the show this year, and that is the Tiff in
the Morning Song of Summer. Right around Leverday weekend is
when we usually start voting, so that when you go
to post all your recaps from this summer.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
You've got the official song.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
It's voted on by you every year, and we just
could not come up with one, so we didn't do
it this year, and it is.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
I'm annoyed.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
However, Billboard has dubbed what they believe is the song
of Summer according to the charts, spending fourteen weeks and
making it to number one. According to Billboard, the Song
of Summer for twenty twenty five is Alex Warren's ordinary.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Bill hit.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Right, so, Alex Warren's coming back to Cincy for the
second time this year. He'll be here in a couple
of weeks. Great song is it song of Summer material?

Speaker 1 (01:22):
I don't know. I don't think so, but I guess
according to its chart position.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
It is Tiff in the Morning and the Billboard have
different views. Last year, they dubbed Morgan Wallen. I had
some help.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Is the Winner? You chose Espresso the year before that.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Last Night was the Winner again by Morgan Wallen, according
to Billboard, but you chose Cruel Summer for the tiff
in the morning Song of Summer. So I figured we
could revisit some of the more iconic ones from years past.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Coming in in two thousand.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
And one, this is a banger usher you remind me.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
See if they so good? This is why I just kiddy, oh,
I was gonna let it go.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
We might as well at Rockco so good.

Speaker 1 (02:27):

move on, though. That was from two thousand and one.

Speaker 2 (02:41):

called me maybe Red Sheskin showing hot night on going
plays thank you, Going.

Speaker 1 (02:53):

Speaker 2 (02:57):
This is crazy coming Lavid Banger coming in in two

of ourselves. Twenty sixteen was Drake's one dance Ways from
Way Back Way.

I never run away even when I'm away ot ot
there's never much love when we got.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
I know, I hope I was saying old see I
love that song coming in twenty nineteen. And by the way,
if you're just walking into the conversation for the first
time this morning, Billboard has chosen what their song of
Summer for twenty twenty five was, and that was Alex
Warren's Ordinary.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
So I figured we'd take a little trip ski.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Down memory lane of song of summers from years past.
I've got two moren twenty and nineteen was Old Town Road.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Through the Longtown Road.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
I'm going right till I can, but I got ther
in the right.

Speaker 1 (04:07):

Here, we come here, we coach, we got the right.
I mean that scream song of summer, and this is
what we got for this year.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Would you rather that one or this coach?

Speaker 1 (04:43):

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Do you know how.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
That's a nice?

Speaker 1 (05:37):
I'm boycotting it, so we didn't even do it.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Tip in the Morning song a summer campaign this year,
but according to Billboard, it was Alex Warren. If I
do get a chance to interview him when he's here
next month, I'm obviously not gonna say that I am depressed,
but I will ask him how he feels, because I
think it's a big honor to be dubbed song of
the Summer. Okay, we're commercial free for a little bit longer.
Feel free to contribute to the conversation if you so
