Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with the kiss.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
How many of us can get out of work today
because our toe hurts?

Speaker 1 (00:15):
I could never. I could never use that as an
excuse me.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
But I said that I can't come to my job
for the next three months because my toe needs operation.
They would be like, you are already replaced, you have
been replaced.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
I could never. A woman could never.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Oh my god, how many people have used a bad
toe to get out of it? To get out of.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
The five with three seven four women? Wild excuses you've
used to get out of something. No, we're obviously talking
about Joe Burrow. That's Sarah Alish. She comes on the
show quite a bit.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
We love to keep from crying.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
It's the top day for Bengals fail.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
It's so bittersweet with the win and then now all
the news by now is.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Everywhere it is broken that the toe is literally broken.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
It's literally broken, and even with a win, we have
a loss. But we're gonna be just fine with Jake Browning,
is what I'm telling myself. Jake Browning will step in
and he looked great yesterday. He threw three interceptions, but
we look past that.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
We will be fine.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
And if not, then I'll just say that I can't
go to the games because my toe hurts.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
I'm using the toe thing. I'm gonna use the toe
thing at least once.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Today and all serious and see if someone someone is like, oh, yeah,
no problem, Oh.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Yeah, my mom, why didn't you call me?

Speaker 1 (01:37):
But my toe? Good morning?

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Well that's certainly an anthem you're waking up with Tiff
in the morning on Kiss one oh seven one excuses
that you've used to get out of going to work.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
A while ago, I was working retail and my friend
was gone one day and the next she closed sasm,
oh where were you yesterday?

Speaker 5 (01:55):
She's like, okay, So I was coming to work.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
I was like heading out the door and I knocked
the glass off my counter and it shattered and the
water spelled everywhere. So I had to clean it up.

Speaker 6 (02:05):
And I was like, so you.

Speaker 5 (02:07):
Missed the whole day because of that, and she's like, well,
by the time I finished cleaning up, I didn't want
to come in and I'd already like calls up and
know something happened. So I just ended up saying it's
becoming in all that's okay.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Well, thank you for the talk bag with Tiff. You
two can be a part of today's show when you
open up the iHeartRadio app and search Kissuan oh seven one.
The microphone is in the top right hand corner if
you want to leave me a little voice snowedy. Honestly,
I related to that woman. Imagine we're so on edge
in this world that a spilled glass of water can
throw you a whole day. The reason why we're even

(02:41):
talking about this, by the way, if you're just walking
into the show for the very first time, is if
you can you know, you can get past the depression
that Bengals fans are feeling today. We laugh to keep
from crying on this show. It's a little ridiculous that
the man is out for three months because of thee
the toe burrow.

Speaker 7 (03:02):
So I used to have a coworker. It was last
winter and she did not come into office because it
was too cold in the office.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Is it bad that I'm like, nah, I could clock
that one. I might use that.

Speaker 6 (03:19):
My boss actually told us he had to miss work
one day when his son's imaginary friends was having a
funeral and he had.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
To be there.

Speaker 6 (03:33):
And apparently he and his wife had been praying to
get this imaginary friend to exit the picture for a while,
and then one day their son walked in and told
them that his friend had died and that the funeral
would be tomorrow. So yeah, that was pretty weird.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Well that just sounds like one of those things that
you just said mm hm and you keep it pushing.
I don't know which excuse is more ridiculous, Burrow or
the imaginary friend, But if you have one that you
think you can use to compete on the show this morning,
please feel free to call me at five one three
seven nine, one oh seven one.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Excuses you've used to get off of work. Good morning, Wow.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
The breakup anthem of maybe the Millennium You are waking
up with Tim in the morning on Kiss one oh
seven one. How old was Jojo? I'm googling this when
she wrote that, I think she was like fourteen. Jojo
was thirteen years old when her debut single, Leave Get
Out was released. Imagine having that much one pain from

(04:38):
a relationship in middle school and too like grasp on
life to be able to write an anthem that would
stay with us in the breakup world forever. Wow. All right, uh,
good morning, you're on Kiss one oh seven one. We
were just chit chatting about the excuses that you've used
to call off of work.

Speaker 6 (04:56):
Good morning, I have an excuse, so it's not me,
but a coworker of mine because squirrels had babies.

Speaker 7 (05:02):
And his couch.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
I mean, it sounds like it could have been a
crisis at the time.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
But how did you respond.

Speaker 7 (05:10):
We all looked at each other like, Okay, what's really
going on?

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Yeah, it sounds like there might be something a little
bit deeper.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
But that's the thing about excuses with work and such
is that I feel like the more ridiculous the excuse is,
the more true it is.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
And when you're just sick, I'm not sick. I'm not sick.
I told my boss I was sick the day after
Labor Day.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
I was just depressed that summer was over and I
needed a mental health day.

Speaker 7 (05:34):
I mean, that's fair.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
I love I loved hearing your voice this morning. It's
your name with neighborhood, you waking up with name. My
name is Jonah.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
I hope you have a wonderful day. Thanks for contributing
to the show. It wouldn't be what it is without
your contributions. All right, Speaking of the reason why we're
even talking, about this is because of toe.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Burrow with the toe.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
The excuse of not coming to work because of the toe,
although I know very legitimate.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
We just try to laugh to keep from crying. Here,
if you can.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Give me three men, we'll get into the three things
you need to know to get your day started in Cincy.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
What is Zach Taylor's take on the toe? What are
we doing? Are we keeping Jake? What's going on? We'll
get to that next
