Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Welcome back to a Monday. I'm living a double life.
It feels like sometimes you're walking into chit chat roulette
every Monday. Writer around this time, Sarah saunters in from
our sister station w EBN, and we kind of just
run through all the big topics and Cincy and beyond
from the weekend. Just in case you're like me and
you don't scroll your phone, Sarah kind of make sure
(00:24):
we're in the loop on all the biggest things.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
Do you feel like, let me put five minutes on
the clockwak go.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Do you feel like you're living a double a life
where Monday through Thursday right now we're kind of like
school focused, fall focused, routine based, and then Friday through Sunday,
I'm still in summer.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
So it's like I went from a bikini to a
flannel today.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
Oh girl, I'm full on flannel. It agrees.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
Yeah, my whole hell. Everyone tell everyone what you did yesterday.
Speaker 4 (00:49):
I'm decorated for Halloween. We are done, like period, Like
it's done. I give my house two full months for
every holiday at least, so as soon as Novembers, it's
time for Christmas.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
I'm not kidding. We don't have to waste a lot
of time on this.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
But I will tell you the girl's voice you hear
on the radio speaking across from me. She has to
like dust her Christmas decorations. That's how long they're up.
Those things are from November to end of January, aren't they.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
Yeah, it goes past my birthday.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Like when you have to dust in the tree. It's
up for too long.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
I love it. I would keep it up longer if
I could.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
And then it kind of gets to a point, you know,
it's like, all right, let's get this thing down. Okay, though,
we had some big stuff that happened here locally. Two
teenagers broke into pay Course Stadium, where our Cincinnati Bengal
had just played a game earlier that day. So they
were caught overnight Saturday into Sunday. Ok An eighteen year
(01:48):
old and a nineteen year old dude. Guess what they
tried to steal out of the stadium. I can only imagine, Like, Okay,
first of all, if you were to break into the stadium.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Okay, I would pour myself into beer. Oh and I
would maybe try and steal like merch.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
Okay, that's what my thought was, like, Okay, I'm shorty,
I'm going for the beer like I would get into
the locker room immediately.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
Okay, give me everyone's jerseys.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
Uh No, these two dudes tried to steal a barbecue smoker, like.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
You what, trap it to their back?
Speaker 3 (02:23):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
They hopped the fence and they were very unsuccessful. But
imagine being like the security guy sitting there and watching
these two dudes run around with a smoker, and those
things have got to be heavy, right, what.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
Do you what are you doing? What are you doing?
Speaker 4 (02:39):
Are you do?
Speaker 1 (02:39):
What?
Speaker 3 (02:40):
Teenager knows how to handle a smoker?
Speaker 4 (02:41):
Anyway, our Bengals, unfortunately, they couldn't get the wind done
over the weekend, lost forty one to fourteen to the Colts.
But preseason's done. It starts counting here in less than
two weeks.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
How is the vine?
Speaker 3 (02:56):
It was good? Uh, none of our starters had played.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
I think it would have been a little different if
we saw a couple drives from Joe Burrow. But we
got to see Dez Ritter or you see Bearcat. That's cool.
I love that he plays for us. Yeah, so he
played the entire time. We didn't see anything from Joe
or Jake Browning. Look keep an eye out for this
guy named pe j Jules. He he's on Defense and
(03:20):
he had this really cool story that aired at Channel
five and I just kind of fell in love with
the kid. We'll know about if he makes the fifty
three man roster by four pm on Tuesday afternoon.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
Okay, moving on. Creed was last night, and you and
I were not there.
Speaker 4 (03:34):
My husband was there, Okay, arms wide open or what
I guess.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
So I woke up to forty five snaps. He was
very excited to do there.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
I would have loved to have been.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
He and his buddies all wore the Creed t shirts.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
Oh no man Machine shirt.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
Wow big.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
But they had a hell of a time.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
And he was texting me and he goes, I think
it's a sold out crowd here at show.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
Yeah, Stevie Nicks was supposed to be here on Saturday night.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
She had postponed.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
So I just got that notification from Ticketmaster because I
bought tickets for that one. So that'll get delayed. Outside
of them, in the pop world, it feels very quiet
ever since the Tailor released, But we do have new
music coming from Sabrina Carpenter this coming Friday.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
Oh that's big.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
I don't know if it's gonna be a Tiff in
the Morning song of fall.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
I need to let it go. I really just need
to let it go.
Speaker 3 (04:22):
Yeah, I think Jetso Holiday is all we're gonna get.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
Yeah, and we just found out that, you know, Sabrina
Carpenter is going to be on the new Taylor Swift
album on track twelve. So she is doing a lot
of big things. Love to see that. What else are
Sincinnati Reds. They're never going to be swept this season.
They're the only team in the league that have not
been swept. They're going to be on the West Coast
continuing to do that. Then they'll be back at Great
(04:46):
American Ballpark this weekend. Big Weekend two for the Western
and Southern WB.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
I got very the lead.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
It's Boomsday on Sunday because we will not be here
next Monday, because that will be Labor Day.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
I'll be sleeping instead of laboring.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
I'm excited for the fireworks. I'm wicked excited for them.
Speaker 4 (05:05):
I was kidding speaking of Wicked Boomsday the musical, the
theme we might hear a little wicked, just a little hint.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
The soundtrack is always iconic I do outside of the
show itself.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
The soundtrack is its own thing.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
So I've not heard the soundtrack, but according to our boss,
he said it's the best one he has ever heard.
And he said the show is gonna be bigger and
better than ever. And don't forget about the drone show beforehand.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
All right, Sarah Elise my galley.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
We should chat every day on this show usually, but
on Mondays we cover all the things that you might
have missed in Cincinnati and beyond. Coming up in three
it give me two songs, Give be two songs, coming
up in two songs. What is the most popular birth
date on the birth charts? And it's coming up. We
haven't hit it yet. It's coming up this month the
number one most popular birthday. If you have any guesses,
(05:55):
talk back with Tiff on iHeartRadio.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
We'll see where we stack up next.
