Speaker 1 (00:00):
If you're waking up in the morning, kiss good morning.
It's chit chat roulette. On Monday, Sarah at least from
w EBN and a good friend of the show comes in.
We put five minutes on the clock and run through
the biggest things that happened in Cincy and beyond through
the weekends, so that we're all caught up and ready
to go on a Monday five minutes. I had the

(00:20):
Sunday Scaries hard last night. Girl. I was not okay
after seven hundred and eighty five october Fest beers this weekend.
And it was a hot one out there too. It
was so I left you. We have to debrief the
running of the Wheeners.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Congrats to moofs.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
He was cute.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Back to back winter too.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Yeah, I think more than one year. I think it
was three at least three years in a row.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Maybe cannot be stopped.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
I left you at maybe twelve thirty one o'clock on Friday.
I didn't go home until maybe seven or eight o'clock
that Oh, girl, the beers were lowing. They were delicious,
but we were good. So we hosted the Running of
the Weens.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Did you get any ween picks in the dms like
you had requested.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
I didn't get a single Ween pic in the DM.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
That was the only acceptable time to send us over home.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Exciting.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
That was so fun to see the running of the Wieners.
And I think I've been at that event ten or
twelve different times. Never hosted it before big moment and
how fun? Did you know that WLWT like.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Streamed it live? Oh yeah, I didn't know that. Sarah
and we were out there left and right, just wean
joking all over the place.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Imagine sitting at your desk. What is wrong with these two?

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Over one hundred weans competed, but one winning wing.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
A couple of naked weans too, I know a couple
of them lost their buns.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
No, I hate to see that happened, but yeah, it was.
It was a hot weekend. It was awesome at october Fest.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Did you go more than once? Or Juice to Friday?

Speaker 2 (01:58):
I was also there on Saturday night after the Reds won.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
How was it? I went? I too did this Saturday
and I can't believe we didn't run into each other.
It's one of those events where you just run into
everyone you know it at random places, random times, and
you're like oh, I didn't know you were going to
be here.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
But also so packed too.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
It was good. Saturday night was busy. The lines for
the food were long. That's how you could tell you're
having to go to Octoberfest. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
I didn't get the food, got a couple beverages, didn't
get a chance to go. On Sunday, I was watching
our Cincinnati Bengals and our Cincinnati Reds. So Magan the
headlines this morning.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Where do you want to take us Reds or Bengals?

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Our Reds have a better chance here to make the
city happy.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
So that's where we're at.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
We have to win every game now.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Not necessarily every game, but they do hold the wild
card spot over the Mets, so they grabbed that yesterday.
They swept the Cubs over the weekend, but they ideally
just need to keep winning and have a better track
record this week than the Mets to hold onto that spot.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
So three wild.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Card spots for the NL and the AL, and we
grabbed one of them yesterday.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
All right, we just keep hope alive. What happened on
So I didn't watch a single snap of football.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
So I shut it off at halftime, and I've not
done that in years and I switched over to the Reds.
I switched over to the Reds.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
You stand by that two minutes?

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Oh, no regrets. Yeah, it was a franchise wreck.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
It was a franchise day for the Bengals historically terrible.
Forty eight to ten was the final against the Vikings
and Jake Browning was all over the place, struggled.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Everything looked bad.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
But is hope alive for you? And that you're good? Right?

Speaker 3 (03:35):
I think I need to see another game. Okay, I
need to see another game or two. But yeah, yesterday
was pretty messy. But yeah, pack the park this week
for OURSINCINNTI.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Reds Octoberfest in I think it is happening in Germany
as right now in Munich and Drake went. Really yeah,
Drake went to october Fest.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Was he a part of Winner dog Racing?

Speaker 1 (03:54):
I don't know. I'd love to see his Wiener dog race,
I truly would. I would love that. No on there.
Harry Styles raced a marathon over the weekend and did
sub three Wow.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Yeah, so yeah, damn that's like a most Olympic pace.
That's pretty good. That's around the six something pace. Good
for him?

Speaker 1 (04:14):
What about Taylor Swift.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Yeah, So if you're not seeing Taylor Swift at these
Chiefs games, it's not because they are losing. I mean,
granted they won last night, but it's because she's got
a crazy stalker out there. So that wall that you
saw last weekend, that was actually a bulletproof wall.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
They're trying to keep her safe.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
So I think right now she's trying to stay out
the public eye until they capture this stalker.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Okay, and then we've got the album release coming here
in a couple of weeks. We're going to do a
full marathon with high Ball Sincy, So I'm more on
that later, but we're getting close to that.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
And she's got a movie coming out too.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Yep, I'll have more of that than three things at
seven point fifty. You typically every day you go home
to your house in Kentucky because that's where you live. Yeah,
this week, what are you?

Speaker 2 (05:00):
I am struggling.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
If I sound like I'm not in a good mood
or I'm struggling, it's not because of the Bengals. It's
because I am house sitting and watching dogs and these
dogs do not let me sleep, and I am way
up north.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Who are you house sitting before my parents. So here's
the thing. I don't have family here, so I don't
have I'm not a tie to any obligations when it
comes to family. They ask you to do this every
single time they go on vacation, and you hate it.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
I hate it. And I'm the only person that they
trust with these dogs.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
And they're a nightmare.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Oh awful. They do not let me sleep.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
I mean, I know that you get maybe a little
bit of cash from your dad, which is nice, but
you do you feel obligated, like, can you say no?
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
I do I feel obligated to say yes, And I
feel like if I do say no, I don't want
them to feel like they can't travel or that they
don't know what.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
To do with the dogs.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Yeah, I don't have family here, so I don't run
up against that. Here's what I want to do. If
five one, three, seven, four, nine, one, seven to one,
when is the last time that your family asked you
to do something? Babysitting dogs for seven to ten days
in a row feels like a lot to me. So
we'll get to that next. And by the way, I
have a chance for you to win the Land of Illusion. Passes,
